I crossed my legs as I leaned against my car, staring at my old childhood house. My nails tapping against my car as the house door opened. A chuckle escaped my lips as my eyes landed on my beyond excited daughter. She was wearing a dark purple tutu with a pair of white leggings and black shirt that says I'm a little rebel. "Mama!" She shouted as she struggled down the stairs
I smiled at her and opened up my arms to catch her as she ran towards me. Valerie and my aunt started to walk down the stairs after her but, my attention was solely on how good it felt to have my daughter in my arms. "Hello baby, are you ready to go?" I asked her while I pushed her hair from her face
She gave a firm nod as her fingers tangled into my hair. I could tell by the look on my aunts face that she wanted to talk to me without Stella around. I passed her over to Val with a smile. "Why don't you let auntie put you in my car while I talk to other auntie."
Stella seemed wary at first but, didn't say anything when Valerie walked towards my car. I took a few steps away from my car to give us more privacy and I crossed my arms across my chest getting ready for the lecture that was coming my way for sure. "How is Charming?" she asked me
"It's been fine. Nice quiet town and Clay treats me as if I was a part of the family to start." I replied trying to keep the conversation short
"I heard someone was killed last week-"
I raised my hand, I couldn't do this. "Yes someone died that had relations to the family but, it's not like people are dying left right and center. You can't stop this from happening, it's time for me to be Stella mother. Are you really going to deny me that?"
She seemed to be biting her lip a little. "Is she going to be safe there is what I am trying to ask Savannah. I know that you can be a great mother to her and I am entirely grateful to them for getting you clean but, is Charming really the best place for her?"
I looked over to Valerie who was playing with Stella in my car. I would be lying if I would say that I wasn't worried about that but, I would protect her with my life and I needed my daughter. "Tacoma is not good for me. You and I know that. I'm not saying that Charming is perfect but, it is safe for us. I have a support group there and even with temptation around me, I don't feel the need to smoke up again. I know you have your doubts but, I will take care of her. "
It didn't seem like she could have come up with any argument at that moment so I gave her a hug and walked back to the car. "I'll bring her home tomorrow morning? Thank you for this." I told Valerie as I gave her a hug
"I thought this would be best. Give me a call if you need anything though."
I nodded my head and got back into my car. I adjusted my mirror so that I could still see behind me but so that I could see Stella to. "Ready?" I asked her
Her face exploded with a huge smile and she clapped her hands together. I turned my car over and started to drive towards Charming.

"Mom? Why are we at a hospital?" Stella's voice brought me out of my trance
"We are going to meet your nephew and gramma." I told her as I got out of the vehicle
I came around to her side and opened the door to unbuckle her. I pulled her out of the car and placed her on the ground. "You stay with me okay?"
She gripped my hand tightly as we walked together. I knew I had nothing to worry about with her, she wouldn't leave me even if I told her to. I nodded my head to the nurse as I walked up to her, "Is Gemma still here with Abel?"
"Go around the corner fourth door on the left." She replied with a smile
I started to walk towards the door but, I could feel Stella slowing down. When I looked down to her she had a weird look on her face, I crotched down in front of her and took her hands in mine. "What's wrong?"
"You said we are meeting gramma...can I call her that?"
I knew that this was strange territory for the both of us but, if anything this little girl would worm her way into all the boys hearts...maybe even Happy. I grabbed her from under her arms and pulled her into my arms. "Of course you can baby, Gemma would love that."
I could feel her hands grip my shirt hard but, she didn't squirm. I went to the door and opened it to see Gemma holding Abel. As soon as her eyes landed on my daughter she smiled. "Is this Stella?"
"Yes, Stella this lady here is Gemma and the little boy in her arm is Abel. That is your nephew."
Gemma placed Abel down into his car seat and turned back to us. "Gramma Gemma is just fine sweetheart." Gemma told Stella while holding her hands out to us
Stella gave me a hesitant look before she went into Gemma arms. That didn't last long as Gemma started to give her a bunch of kisses and started to tickle her sides. Stella instantly started to giggle and squirm in her arms. After Gemma stopped laughing with Stella she looked over to me. "She is so beautiful Savannah, look just like your mommy don't you." Gemma complimented
"Thank you." I smiled at the scene in front of me
I picked up Abel and brought him over to Stella so she could meet him. She reached her hand out to touch Abel's fingers. She grabbed them in her's and pulled them a little. All of us had smiles on our faces until the door opened behind us. We looked over to the door and I could feel the atmosphere get tighter when Gemma looked to Tara who stood in the door awkwardly. I laid Abel down and grabbed Stella from Gemma as they started their usual banter. I put Stella in the chair beside Abel and stood up to face the other to females. "He's perfect." Tara started the conversation
"The echo's?" Gemma asked
"Clean. C.B.C's, C.M.P's are all normal. His weight needs to come up a little but other than that-" Tara read off her chart
"He's still real fussy with the feedings." Gemma interrupted
"Could be the lactose. We-we can try soy-base." Tara looked back down to her chart
"I don't wanna turn him into a little vegan pussy." Gemma spoke quickly
"Gemma!" I lectured looking back to the kids
She rolled her eyes but looked back to Tara, "He can drink it in his wife beater onesie." Tara retorted
A small laugh came from me and Gemma looked a little more amused as she looked to me. " oh, Dr. funny. How's his sleep apnea? You're there pretty much every night."
Here we go. Tara finally looked up from her chart with a less than amused smile on her face. "Times I'm there, he is sleeping fine."
"Good." Gemma turned to Abel and started to buckle him in. "Let's get you guys to the club house and this little girl can meet the rest of the family, are you coming tonight doc?" Gemma said in her usual tone
"I'm not sure yet. I probably will at least to welcome Bobby back." Tara replied
"Hmp." Gemma grunted before picking Abel up
I took Stella hand in mine and walked out with Gemma. Gemma walked with me to my car first and waited until I slipped Stella into her car seat. She waited until I closed the door before she spoke up to me, "Are you going to tell him?"
I rolled my eyes, "No, if he sees her tonight then good for him."
I tried to walk to my side of the car but, Gemma grabbed my arm, "You can't stay mad at him forever baby."
"And why not?"
"Because you love him," I opened my mouth to dispute but she cut me off, "I know the look of love and you both have it. Give him a chance?"
I bit my lip so hard I could actually taste the copper in my blood. Images of that night and what my over active imagination had thought up came to mind. "I can't." was all I could say before the tears threatened to spill
I sat in my car effectively ending the conversation. "Where we going next mommy?"
I smiled at her in the mirror, "We are going to see the rest of the family, our family."

I gripped Stella's hand as I walked with her to the club doors. We walked in just as church was getting out, all the boys turned their attention to us. Stella got nervous around the big bikers and clung to my leg her big blue eyes taking in everything around her. I smiled at the group and spoke, "Hey guys, I brought someone for you to meet. This is my daughter Stella."
The boys lined up to meet her and after we got through the baddest of the bad, mainly Tig and Clay she had loosened her grip and giggled with all the attention. Jax stood on my right and was the last to meet her. He bent down to her level and pushed his hair out of his face. "Hello beautiful."
Her face beamed and she stretched out her hand, "Stella." She said politely
He looked at me before he scooped her up in his arms, "I'm Jax your uncle."
"Are you Abel daddy?" she asked
"Yes I am."
Jax seemed to grow attached to her quickly and took off with her to the bar to get her a drink. I smiled as I watched them go. "She looks just like you." a voice said beside me
I turned to face the voice and just into his arms, it was Kozik. "Spikey!"
He laughed into my ear and wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me into him. "Hello butterfly, miss me?"
"What a silly question, why didn't I see you come out of church?" I asked as I slid down onto my feet
"We just arrived actually, for Bobby welcome home."
"We?" I asked
I stepped away from him to see a rather gorgeous looking brunette standing beside a very angry looking Happy. When Happy eyes met mine, I could see the darkness lurking there but the girl beside him brought my attention to him. "Ava." she held her hand out to me
"Savannah." I shook her hand
Something about her voice sounded familiar, I just couldn't put my finger on it. "Are you Clay and Gemma daughter?" She asked rather abruptly
I looked over to Kozik wary of answering her. "Yes."
She tilted her head to the side, "How has no met your daughter then?"
I narrowed my eyes at her, "I don't think that is any of your-" I started to tell her off
Kozik and Happy cut me off when they stood between us. Happy pushing me away and Kozik pushing her the opposite way. I shoved his hand away from me and turned to face him, glaring at the girl over his shoulder, "Who is she to question anything that goes on in here and who are you to think it is okay for you to touch me."
My eyes widen when I realized what came out of my mouth. Was this seriously how mean I had become to him? I may be a woman scorned but, as Gemma stated I did love him. I crossed my arms and looked to the ground, "Sorry."
A shriek startled the both of us and we looked to see Tig showing her a magic trick causing her to giggle and shriek in joy. My eyes and postured softened at the sight of my daughter and the tension between us seemed to dissipate. "She is beautiful, where is her dad?"
I looked over to him to see him looking at her with a fond look. "Hopefully dead in a ditch somewhere. He found out I was pregnant and ran saying it wasn't his and that I was a whore for sleeping around. She was and will always be better off without him."
We stood staring at each other for a minute, "Can we talk?" He asked after a moment
I bit my lip, "No, I'm sorry Hap I can't do this right now."
I ran my hand through my hair as I walked away towards my daughter and the men I had grown to love so much.

It had reached night time and a party grew as we all waited for Bobby to arrive. The boys had grown so attached to Stella that we walked around to mingle with others. I was pushing Stella on the swing as she requested when Ava walked up. "So I figured out who you are?"
I really had no need to talk to her and for some reason that I had yet to put my finger on I really didn't like her. "I thought we established that this afternoon." I said rather bluntly
"Well yes but there I knew you from somewhere else."
I didn't say anything back to her, I didn't want to play her game. My eyes connected with Kozik who seemed alarmed that she was talking to me. I narrowed my eyes as I continued to push Stella. "Fine, I will just talk. Happy talked about you once and I've heard stories from Kozik but I never knew that we talked before, on Happy phone that one time."
My hands gripped tightly to Stella swing and pushed her to a halt. "Go see uncle Jax please Stella." I tried to say as calm as I could.
I watched closely as Stella ran away into Jax arms. I barely noticed when Kozik and Happy started to walk to us. I clenched my jaw and turned towards her, my fingers cracking as I curled them into fist.
