Chapter 6 - The Train Ride to Remember

They got a room at the Alley Inn.
They started reading late into the night together, James, Arthur, and Lilly swooping in and out of the open window as they pleased. Because they were making a mess,
Arthur keep cleaning the mess. Every night before they went to sleep, Frank ticked off another day on the piece of paper he had pinned to the wall, counting down to September the first.

"I want us to do one more thang,
I want us to go to school with red hair." Said Arthur.
"Will be lots of fun, and they head of our House has red hair."

Then he pulled the tickets they been owled out of his pocket. "We just take the train from platform nine and three-quarters at eleven o'clock," Frank read.

They sleep well it was comforting be next to each other.
They checked the Hogwarts list yet again to make sure they had everything they needed, the owls in their cages,
They spent there last night in the Hollow,
they translocated into an Alley neat Kings Cross.

Percy and the middle Twins made it through before,
The Red hair triplets make it to the exact spot where the segment of wall where the Portal was before Ron and Rob could head there. Then they standing there.
Weasleys where just watching them.

"So, what are we going do?" Asked Arthur.

"I have no clue." Said Frank.

"I don't know where in England the school is." Said Arthur.

"I know this was too good to be true." Said Eljah.

Molly, Ron, and Rob still watching. They hugged each other and started crying, "We at least have a good place to live."
Said Arthur.

"There is no platform." Said Frank.

"To think a place like that could be real." Said Eljah.

"I know it is real." Said Arthur.

"Then where is it." Said Eljah.

"No one told us," Said Lewis.

They where walking past Ron, who heard, "I don't know.
That part is a bit fuzzy." Said Arthur.
"But I know one of our godfather work in the ministry of magic,
a sub department of muggle affairs, wonder if
he be there today."

Then Ms. Weasley came around.
As Arthur, Eljah, and Frank started walking away.

"Boys do you need help." Said Molly.

"We were told this is where you go to Hogwarts."
Said Arthur, "But we orphans, and the letter we got and tickets saying here, but not how."

She moved closer to Arthur, but he quickly move towards
his brothers. "Yes," said Frank. "The thing is the thing is…"

"How to get onto the platform?" she said kindly,
and Frank nodded. Then she noticed bruising on hands and face and a black eye. "Not to worry," she said. "All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous.
Go on, go now before my two here."

"Er - okay," said Eljah.

Eljah started pushing his trolley around and stared at the barrier. It looked very solid. He started to walk toward it.
People jostled him on their way to platforms nine and ten.
Frank walked more quickly. He was going to smash right into that barrier and then he'd be in trouble - leaning forward on his cart, he broke into a heavy run - the barrier was coming nearer and nearer - he wouldn't be able to stop - the cart was out of control - he was a foot away - he closed his eyes ready for the crash - It didn't come... he kept on running... he opened his eyes then he was gone.

Arthur saw brother disappear then he had a panic attack, "Where is he, where did he go?"

"He on the platform." Said Molly.

Then Arthur tried the same thang. And there was Eljah he pushed his cart up to Eljah. Then Frank was now with them to.
They all hugged.

A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, eleven O'clock.
Frank looked behind him and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it, they had done it.

Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to one another in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks. The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats.

They hugged and then started down the platform in search of an empty seat. They pushed on through the crowd until he found an empty compartment near the end of the train.
Frank got onto the train first they got the three owls in first,
and then started to struggle to get the trunks toward
the train door. They tried to lift it up the steps but could hardly raise one end and twice he dropped it painfully
on his foot dropping it onto braking Arthur foot. "You ok bro?"

Then Arthur then collapsed with it, falling onto Lewis hand crushing it. Fred then yelled to his Mom. "Come here quick."

"Oy, Fred! C'mere and help!"

The twins' get Arthur, Eljah, and Frank stuff on the train,
then the three trunks was at last tucked away in a corner of the compartment. Molly now healing Arthur' wrist and leg.

She helped him up, and Frank said, "Thank you for healing his hand, that the closest we ever been to a doctor."

"Where have you been living." Asked Molly.

"We don't want to talk about it, but are mostly safe."
Said Arthur. She was concerned. She healed him on the train.
Ron and Rob followed.

"Percy! Here." Said Molly.

"Mom is something wrong?" Asked Percy.

"Are there any teacher up front, grab one and also make sure the train is held." Molly Said.

Then she shut the door. Flitwick then showed up and said,
"The train is being held, Molly what wrong."

"Shut the door and come in." Said Molly.
"Boys not sure who you been living with but what did they do to you. Whoever it was looks like they abused you."

"No, are now very safe." Said Arthur.

Then she heard Arthur' stomach very loud grumble and his shirt up and saw ribs sticking out. He imminently put his shirt back looking mad. Then she stood up and picked him up for a second felling how underweight he is.

"What have you two eaten today?" Asked Molly.
They looked at each other they were trying to think the last time they ate.

"This morning." Said Arthur.

"What was it." Asked Molly.

"Saltines and broth." Said Frank.

"No that was yesterday." Said Arthur. "Was the last bit of food we had in the house."

Fred and George popped in. "Boy go get the person with the food trolly now." Said George.

Then she showed up, but no trolley.
Flitwick said, "Bring the trolly early, this boys have been starved by their families, they need food."

"We are it." Said Arthur.

Arthur passed some gold to Frank and Eljah,
Then they came back with enough for all.

"Yes, but would have loved a corned beef on a bun." Said Arthur.

"I got our corned beef sandwiches." Said Ron.

Then they noticed the three looking at the sandwich.

"You can have them there six total." Said Ron

Arthur then said, "Do you see something you like?"

Ron handed the sandwiches over. Arthur took two, handed two to Frank then two to Eljah. "Grab whatever you two."

Then triplets ate it up like it was a steak.
Flitwick was looking at Arthur who looked back at Flitwick he saw into the deep emerald eyes and say the face.
"Complects to the Chief." Said Lewis.

Then Flitwick through, Her emerald eyes, you can only
be there sons, but the red hair.

The conductor came back looking for the trouble,
then said, "Flitwick what the hold up?"

"Let's just go we can handle in on route." Said Flitwick.
"Molly you can come with us." Then closed the door.

"Fine." Said Molly. The train started moving.

"Molly you do know who they are right?" Asked Flitwick.

"No, just know they needed help is all." Said Molly.

"You know who they are." Said Flitwick.

"Who are you?" Asked Molly.

"At the end of the war with Voldemort our parents were murdered by him. We were adopted by this man,
he was murdered by either Death Eaters.
So me and Eljah where dumped in an orphanage.
While he was dumped at families." Said Arthur.
Ron and Rob looked at each other then back at the boys with the wonderful eyes. "This man and our parents where in this group lead by a famous wizard." Said Lewis. "It is just
us three now, then we just ran off from the homes where through it to get back together."

Then they noted they Arthur, Eljah, and Frank seem to now slightly be communicating but now also looking envious
of Ron and Rob. Fred and George came in and joined them.

"Are you two hungry?" Asked Arthur.

"We could eat." Said Fred.

"Dig in." Said Arthur.

"You two, ok?" Asked Ron.

"Sorry." Said Arthur.

"For what?" Asked Ron.

"We are envious of you two. Hope you know how lucky you are."
Said Arthur. "How much you guys have."

"What you mean?" Asked Rob.

"A nice big family, Mom and Dad, a home."
Said Arthur, then just went silent.

"Where did you live?" Asked Molly. "And what you name."

"We no one, you could not possible know us.
He Frank, I am Arthur, that Eljah." Said Arthur.

"That our Dad name." Said Ron. They looked at each other again.

"Is your whole family wizards like generations going back?"
asked Arthur, who found Ron just as interesting
as Ron found them.

"Er - Yes, I think so," said Ron. "I think Mom's got a second cousin who's an accountant, but we never talk about him."

"So, you must know loads of magic already."

Then they noticed them starting to cry a little,
"We at least have each other, that all that matters.
You family looks great. They all have you back."

"Five," said Ron. For some reason, he was looking gloomy.
"I'm the sixth in our family to go to Hogwarts. You could say I've got a lot to live up to. Bill and Charlie have already left - Bill was head boy and Charlie was captain of Quidditch. Now Percy's a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they're really funny. Everyone expects me to do as well as the others,
but if I do, it's no big deal, because they did it first.
You never get anything new, either, with five brothers.
I've got Bill's old robes, Charlie's old wand,
and Percy's old rat." Ron reached inside his jacket and pulled out a fat gray rat, which was asleep.

Then Rob and Ron noticed the boys' envious looks.

Ron's ears went pink. He seemed to think he'd said too much, because he went back to staring out of the window.

"Do you know how lucky you are?" Said Arthur.

"You two have so much." Said Frank.

"We just have each other." Said Arthur.

Then Arthur sneezed and dislodging his nose.
Then Arthur passed out. Molly used spells to fix his nose,
and stop the bleeding. Cleaning the mess up.

She then got the very skinny boy onto the seat,
where his twin got next to him and hugged him.
They then noticed that the other was no longer paying
attention to any of them. Arthur now coming to.

"Can I look at the frogs?"

"Sure?" Said the twins.

"Oh, of course, you wouldn't know - Chocolate Frogs have cards, inside them, you know, to collect - famous witches and wizards. I've got about five hundred, but I haven't got
Agrippa or Ptolemy."

"We do we only missing a few." Said Arthur, "Let me know what you missing we got a few extra of most."

Frank unwrapped his Chocolate Frog and picked up the card. It showed a man's face. He wore half- moon glasses, had a long, crooked nose, and flowing silver hair, beard, and mustache. Underneath the picture was the name Albus Dumbledore.

"Who," Said the triplets.

"Don't tell me you'd never heard of Dumbledore!" said Percy.

"He the old prat that led both our Parents and Adopted Dad to their deaths." Said Arthur. "The Order of the Phoenix."

"Can I have a frog? I might get Agrippa." Asked Ron.

"Ron if the food is sitting there then you can eat it don't ask." Said Arthur.

"No, I've got Morgana again and I've got about six of her... do you want it? You can start collecting."

Ron's eyes strayed to the pile of Chocolate Frogs waiting to be
unwrapped. "Help yourself."

Soon he had not only Dumbledore and Morgana,
but Hengist of Woodcroft, Alberic Grunnion, Circe, Paracelsus, and Merlin. He finally tore his eyes away from the druidess Cliodna, who was scratching her nose.

They were now open a bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans.
"You want to be careful with those," Ron warned Frank.
"When they say every flavor, they mean every flavor - you know, you get all the ordinary ones like chocolate and peppermint and mar- malade, but then you can get spinach and liver and tripe.

George reckons he had a booger flavored one once." Ron picked up a green bean, looked at it carefully, and bit into a corner.

"Bleaaargh - see? Sprouts."

They had a good time eating the Every Flavor Beans.
The Twins got toast, coconut, baked bean, strawberry, curry,
grass, coffee, sardine, and was even brave enough to nibble the end off a funny gray one Ron wouldn't touch,
which turned out to be pepper.

Then Arthur had this look on his face, popped open the window and barfed out it several times.

The countryside now flying past the window was becoming wilder. The neat fields had gone. Now there were woods, twisting rivers, and dark green hills.

There was a knock on the door of their compartment and the round-faced boy Frank had passed on platform nine and threequarters came in. He looked tearful.

"Sorry," he said, "but have you seen a toad at all?"

"Neville," They all called at once, Lewis quickly pulled him in,
"Where have you been."

"Who are you?" Asked Nev.

When they shook their heads, he wailed, "I've lost him!
He keeps getting away from me!"

"He'll turn up," said Frank.

"Yes," said the boy miserably. "Well, if you see him..." He left.

"Don't know why he's so bothered," said Ron. "If I'd brought a toad, I'd lose it as quick as I could. Mind you, I brought Scabbers, so I can't talk."

The rat was still snoozing on Ron's lap.

Lewis stood up quickly, "Do you two see it." Said Arthur.

"It is." Said Frank.

"We found him." Said Eljah.

"We going lose a friend over this." Said Arthur.

"But to late now, on to the breach." Said Frank.

Then Lewis did a spell on the Rat, making the rat float between the three now forcing the man back into human form,
and into a cage braining the man powers completely.

"So little man hiding this boy's bed." Said Arthur.
"How the Marauder has fallen."

"You know who I am?" Asked Peter.

"How could we not?" Asked Frank.

"After all we are the Fawns, and our Prongs saw you many time in that form. And Padfoot and Mooney might not be so happy to see there rat." Said Arthur.

"Fawn, your Prongs?" Asked Peter.

"Yes." Said Lewis, "Looking directly at the man."
Then the man saw the green eyes.

"Has anyone seen a toad? Neville's lost one," she said.
She had a bossy sort of voice, lots of bushy brown hair, and rather large front teeth.

"We've already told him we haven't seen it," said Ron,
but the girl wasn't listening, she was looking at the wand
in his hand.

"Good-by." Said Arthur, standing up and getting her to leave.

"Who is that?" Asked Flitwick.

"Peter Pettigrew the rat bastard was my birth dad friend."
Said Arthur. "So, rat do you regret killing them,
you know what I don't want to hear it,
I am done, if it were not for Padfoot."
Then the rat disappeared.

"What house are your brothers in?" asked Frank.

"Gryffindor," said Ron. Gloom seemed to be settling on him again. "Mom and Dad were in it, too. I don't know what they'll probably will disown me if I am not. I don't suppose Ravenclaw would be too bad, but imagine if they put me in Slytherin."

"I don't care as long as we are together." Said Arthur.
"At this point even Slytherin."

They wondering what a wizard did once he'd finished school.
"What's your Quidditch team?" Ron asked.

"We don't follow that." Said Frank.

"We been dogging Death Eaters for the last three years,"
Said Arthur. "Even took out a few, dozen."

Three boys entered, and He was looking at Frank with a lot more interest. This made Arthur nervous. Arthur now moved in between this boy and his brothers.

"Is it true?" he said. "They're saying all down the train that "The Boys Who Lived" are this compartment. So, it's you, is it?"

"The Potters died. Should not a big bunch of death easters like your self's know this." Said Lewis. "Is bad old Dads still missing,
I know who you three are."

Arthur saw Draco face, then started moving toward him,
Molly then saw his eyes, with rage. "Death Eaters on the train."
Said Lewis, "Professor there Death Eaters."

Ron gave a slight cough, which might have been hiding a snigget. Draco Malfoy looked at him.

"Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask who you are. My father told me all the Weasleys have red hair, freckles, and more children than they can afford." He turned back to Frank. "You'll soon find out some wizarding families are much better than others. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there."

"LEAVE!" Ordered Arthur steaming with rage.
"Also might want to learn a name before you call someone names there no Potters, why not ask our names first.
Also there only three of us, no freckles, and where the only three left total, that I know of."

"Oh, sorry must have gone to wrong compartment." Said Draco.
Draco Malfoy didn't go red, but a pink tinge appeared
in his pale cheeks.

"I'd be careful if I were you," Arthur said slowly.
"We have taken out Death Eaters. You would not be a change."

Arthur said it again, "Leave now." Then they noticed air in the room starting to slowly circle around the center.

"Oh, you're going to fight us, are you?" Malfoy sneered.

"LEAVE!" Said Arthur.

Molly then stood up, to stop the fight,
but she was too late.

"But we don't feel like leaving, do we, boys?
We've eaten all our food and you still seem to have some."
Said Draco.

Then Arthur went to shove them when they flew into the wall, a lot faster than the eleven-year owl should be able to, especial since he did not touch them. They got up and ran for it.

"I've heard of his family," said Ron darkly. "They were some of the first to come back to our side after You-Know-Who disappeared. Said they'd been bewitched. My dad doesn't believe it. He says Malfoy's…?"

"I know who he is. His father was outside our parents' house while they were getting murdered." Said Arthur.

"Who was you family murdered by?" Asked Ron.

"Voldemort." Said Arthur.

A voice echoed through the train: "We will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes' time. Please leave your luggage on the train, it will be taken to the school separately."

Arthur had already decided he loved this cute boy.
They crammed their pockets with the last of the sweets and
joined the crowd thronging the corridor.

The train slowed right down and finally stopped.
People pushed their way toward the door and out on to a tiny, dark platform. Then a lamp came bobbing over the heads of the
students, and Frank heard a familiar voice: "Firs' years! Firs' years over here! All right there, Molly?"

Hagrid's big hairy face beamed over the sea of heads.

"C'mon, follow me - any more firs' years? Mind yer step, now! Firs' years follow me!"

Molly got out and followed by her boys and the Potter twins.

"Ms. Weasley that him. The big harry man with the nice eye."
Said Arthur, then grabbed his ribs again.

"You two are doing sorting then off to the Hospital wing."
Said Molly. "Ron and Rob, you are to stay with them on the
boat ok."

"You think that had to be an order we like these two."
Said Ron. "You two are light."

They got across the lake and up the stairs.
Hagrid raised a gigantic fist and knocked three times on the castle door
