I placed the final plush on my mini mountain of pillows. They were carefully arranged for maximum comfort. Three fluffy rectangular pillows stacked for back support, a stuffed tiger and a horse plushy set on each side to rest my arms on, and a giant huggable dog. Plus whatever other stuffed animals I had stacked and tucked in.

I grinned as I settled in. I pulled my favorite blanket over my legs and grabbed my book.

"Finally!"

After a long week of stress and nonsense at work, its good to finally sit back and relax.

"Sorrow?" The groggy prince asked.

She slowly turned back around to face him. She could feel her face burning. "Yes, my lord?" She asked shakily.

"What ar you doing?" He asked. His lean muscles pushing him to sit up.

"Uh... I... Don't..." She stuttered for a response.

The prince smirked. "Speak up, pet. I didn't hear you." He said with a devilish grin.

"I didn't know you were still... asleep..." She said with wide eyes. She tried to keep her eyes on his face, but they kept flitting nervously around-

"What are you reading?"

"Ack!" I jumped when a pale hand yoiked the book from my hands.

"Oh, my... I didn't realize you read this sort of lituature." Loki raised a brow with a smirk.

Sputtering, I throw the blanket off myself and swipe for the book. He utilizes his unfair height advantage and decided to play keep away.

"'-He remembered his plan. He called her name and she reluctantly turned back around, her cheeks-'" He read aloud, effortlessly pushing me back as I try to grab the book.

"Stop that! It's not that kind of book!"

"'-Have you never seen a man shirtless?'" Loki barks a laugh. "Darling, does your mother know what you've been reading?"

My face burns. In anger. No other reason.

Darling?!

With a final chuckle he releases his hold on me, causing me to fall on my carpet. "Oow!" I hiss, clutching my nose. Sitting up I hit his leg with my free hand. "Its not that kind of book. Its just a love story, not... that!"

"Of course." He chuckles, tossing my book onto my bed, all messed up now from the earlier struggle. With no warning he grabs my arm and drags me up. "Now come on, I have something to show you."

"Whaaat?" I glare suspisously at the mischievious glint in my eyes.

He doesn't answer, but his smirk does widen. He adjusts his grip so now he's holding my hand, (My face is hot again) and summons a portal, dragging me through.

I don't see how this could possibly go wrong!
