"The more I look around, the more I think people are really getting a bit too into this hot springs thing…" Gudako muttered as she sipped from a glass of milk, still cooling off after spending some time in the women's bath. She was exploring the building a little, growing more and more amazed at just how authentic this place seemed.

She was referring to the inn building that had appeared almost overnight, attached to the hot springs Chaldea used while climbing the oni's 100-story pagoda. The pagoda might have been gone now with the incident resolved, but due to how much everyone liked the hot springs it had been decided they'd all be staying there for a bit longer to relax.
And given that some Servants had gone through the trouble of building an actual Japanese inn, it was going to turn into an overnight stay as well. She'd be rooming with Mash of course, but the young Master just hoped that no Servants were going to try and sneak into her bed in the middle of the night.

Passing through a large double door, Gudako now found herself in what appeared to be a sitting room, with tables, cushions, vending machines and even view of a Japanese garden. How in the world had a few Servants managed to build all of this in such a short time? Had they all become master builders after that time they were stuck on an uninhabited island during summer?
Walking further inside, she noted that not many people had left the hot springs yet, as evidenced by how she had run into only a few people during her exploration. Then again, she would've stayed in longer herself if it hadn't been for a couple of female Servants getting a bit too insistent about washing her back, leading to her deciding to make a strategic retreat while Mash held them off. Truly, good kouhai were invaluable.

She was just contemplating taking a seat on one of the pillows when she heard the doors open, turning around to find herself meeting eyes with Amakusa. It was a bit odd to see him in the yukata that had been provided to everyone, but she found it looked good on him.

"Hey there Amakusa," she started with a smile, "Also taking a walk to cool off?"

"Hm, something like that, yes."

Gudako plopped down on a pillow and patted another on next to her as she looked at Amakusa. He took her up on her unspoken invitation, and then they were both looking at the view of the garden at night.

"I still can't get over how all of this was built in less than a day. The carpentry is one thing, but I can't figure out how they managed the vending machines with original products and the garden with full-grown plants. Do you have any idea which Servants did all of this?" Gudako asked, leaning over to hug her legs.

"I'm afraid not. I've heard some rumors, but to my knowledge no Servants have come forward to claim their work so far."

"Too bad: I really wanted to thank them for making something this beautiful."

"Speaking of beautiful," Amakusa started with a suave smile, "I must say that the yukata looks well on you."

"Oh! Ah, thank you, you look good in yours as well," Gudako replied, averting her gaze and hoping she wasn't blushing too obviously. While she was used to attention from her Servants, compliments about her looks were noticeably rarer, and it was because this compliment had come from Amakusa specifically that she couldn't help but feel flustered and turned bashful.

"By the way! How come you're out of the bath this early? It seems most people are still in there." It was a poor attempt at changing the topic, but Amakusa didn't seem to mind.

"I admit I would've liked to stay a bit longer myself, but I decided it'd be prudent to leave given the war looming on the horizon."

"A war…?"

As if responding to her confusion, suddenly the sound of a powerful explosion resounded throughout the complex, causing the young woman to jump in surprise. Amakusa, on the other hand, did not seem the slightest bit disturbed, as if he had been expecting it this entire time.

"You see," he continued as if nothing had happened, "some of the male Servants were making plans to sneak into the women's baths."

"Ah, yeah, I can see that leading to a war."

They sat there for a while, the previously peaceful silence completely gone and replaced by the sounds of carnage. Gudako couldn't be sure, but she suspected the origin of the sounds was spreading from the women's section to the men's, probably a sign that the female Servants were launching a counter-offensive in retaliation for the peeping (not caring if some innocent bystanders who hadn't done anything wrong got caught up in the combat).
As the sounds didn't stop even half an hour later, she started wondering if there'd be any hot springs left after this.

As it turned out, Gudako concluded the next day (after a night with thankfully only a single attempted bed-infiltration from Serenity), there weren't. Instead, there was a very, very deep hole in the ground where the springs used to be, and more than a few male Servants that were promptly declared missing in action.

"Well, at least this means we'll be able to convince everyone to return back to Chaldea without any fuss," she concluded. The missing men would show up sooner or later anyhow, if not outright re-summoned to Chaldea.
