Sakura was hiding under a bush, silent as she was, she felt like her thoughts were screaming loud enough that her new Sensei could hear her a mile away.

"Sakura,"

She turned and watched as both Naruto army crawled over towards her. "Naruto?"

He nodded and pointed behind her. She turned and was shocked to find Sasuke on the other side of her with a leg under him and a knee bent to his chin as he watched Kakashi with hawk eyes.

Sasuke motioned to the two before he pointed to a covered area not too far from where they were, but well away enough that they could speak softly and not be overheard. With his instructions, the two headed off to where they were told, Sasuke having already left to the spot he'd indicated.

Kagome jumped away from the Hokage as he pushed forward with a combination of strikes and punches. She'd asked for someone to train her the other day but hadn't expected that he'd take up the position so readily. "Old man, you are surprisingly spry..." she laughed as he grunted before disappearing and knocking her forward with a well-placed kick. "Damn..."

"You don't want to get so cocky, Kagome. You are still quite young yourself, even as an adult, you have much to learn still."

Kagome frowned, 'I'm young?' She looked the Third over and nodded to herself. She stood up and launched a kunai in his direction, vanishing as she threw the kunai. Counting on him dodging it effortlessly, she reappeared and sent him flying with her own kick, but her victorious smile quickly flipped at the sound of a pop and a log collapsing where the Third had once been. 'So... this is going to be like training with Minato...'

"Don't let your guard down!"

A pink energy shield appeared where he punched and blocked the attack, her eyes met his and she smirked as her memories began to recall the small things she'd learned from so long ago. Really, did the body ever truly forget? She captured his fist in her hand and kneed him with surprising force. However, he caught her knee with his free hand, gripping her knee before flipping her over head and letting gravity take over. Her body twisting and leg sweeping out to catch him off guard. As the hours dragged on, it was a back and forth between the two, and yet...she knew...he wasn't even trying yet.

"What's this?" Kakashi glanced up and looked curiously at Naruto, "you aren't too smart, are you?"

Naruto smirked, placing both his hands together, he yelled, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" A nice even ten clones appeared in puffs of smoke and they started running around Kakashi in circles.

'I don't even need my Sharingan for this...what is he trying to do? Make me dizzy?' He returned his attention back to the book in his hand. Another pop sounded and this time there were ten more clones running in circles around him in the opposite direction. He wondered what the boy was up to but tried instead to focus entirely on the book in his hand. He was almost done with the chapter and wanted to finish it.

"TRY AND IGNORE THIS SENSEI!"

A barrage of kunai shot out from the first string of Clones and he jumped up, dodging them easily, but the second string of clones was already up in the air when he did. Not that he was worried, he started to throw each of the Naruto clones into one another, wiping them out one at a time as he did. He knew that Naruto would most likely stay on the ground, he had enough clones to do his job for him after all. Knocking another clone aside, he frowned when it didn't pop and turned to see a foot swiping just past his eyes as he leaned back to avoid the kick. 'Interesting...' He caught the foot and threw him backwards into the tree behind him, listening to the pops of the remaining clones around him and smirking, "that was good, Naruto, but not quite good enough. You still ha-" his eyes widened as he sidestepped another kunai that just barely grazed the bells at his hips, turning to face another Naruto, he stood so that he could see both. "…that's no normal clone."

"Hehe...nope...it's not." Naruto caught the kunai that Kakashi had dodged and stood up with a smirk, he twirled the kunai on his fingers and charged his Sensei as the other Naruto did the same, both making direct contact with Kakashi who couldn't follow the difference in their fighting styles.

"I see, so that's it...you must be...Sasuke!" He brought his elbow down on the back of the second Naruto's neck and a pop of smoke revealed Sasuke crashing onto the dirt ground as Kakashi brought his foot down to his back to held him there. His eyes met Naruto's as he caught the fist that held the Kunai, twisting it backwards so that the Kunai fell lifelessly from his hand.

"AUGH!"

"You guys did great, really...you did...but in all of this, where is Sakura? Did you not bother to include her in your tactical strategy?" Kakashi sighed, "you guys might have gotten the bells if-"

PooF!

Kakashi's eyes widened at the familiar sound. The person he was holding, was none other than Sakura, "wait...then..."

ding-a-ling

Kakashi couldn't deny being impressed. Letting go of the girl in front of him, taking his foot off Sasuke who was now holding the bells in his free hand, and turning his eyes to Naruto who was standing where the Kunai once lay forgotten. "...I clearly...underestimated all of you." He chuckled, "so now, Sasuke...which member will you give that bell to? Who will you send back?"

Sasuke pushed himself off the ground, holding them both out in a closed fist, Naruto walked over and placed his over top the fist and Sakura followed suit as she rested hers over Naruto's.

Sakura looked to the curious Kakashi before she smirked, "Sensei, we are a team."

Naruto nodded, "If any one of us go back, the we all go back as a team."

"...and if we stay...that too...will be as a team." Sasuke finished, looking Kakashi dead in the eyes.

Kakashi sighed, 'wow, seriously? This isn't quite what I expected...I didn't even get to mess with their heads, and it's only been thirty minutes. Still...' he smiled, "I'm impressed...I owe all of you a congratulations...you are the first team...to pass this test with me. You, starting today...are a Genin Team...Team Kakashi. What you did just now, I expect that same devotion from here on out."

Sasuke closed his eyes as his hand fell back to his side, but he tossed the bells back to Kakashi as he did this. "We will work towards are dreams together...Naruto...Sakura...and I..."

"Believe it!"

Sakura laughed, "we passed!"

Kakashi watched the three as they celebrated and found himself letting his eyes settle on Sasuke with more curiosity than he intended. This boy, who's brother had slaughtered his entire clan, had turned out, almost the exact opposite to what Kakashi had expected. He wondered if it was all Naruto's doing, or...if maybe...just maybe...Kagome had a role and helping hand in his upbringing too.

"Hey! Hey Kakashi-Sensei! I have a question for you." Naruto called, trying to get Kakashi's attention, going as far as to wave his hand obnoxiously in front of the dazed sensei's eyes.

"I see you, and I hear you, Naruto. What is your question?"

Naruto laughed, "yeah, so...we were wondering, do you know how old Kagome is?"

Kakashi frowned, "Kagome?" He looked curiously up at the sky, 'now that I think about it...I was eleven when I first met her...and she looked the same then as she does now. I actually don't recall ever getting her age...' he laughed under his breath, "no, I can't say that I do."

Sasuke scoffed, "you can't be serious. How can you be in a relationship with someone and not even know basic information like that?"

"S-Sasuke, that isn't fair." Sakura fumbled a bit as she tried not to laugh at the annoyed expression on their Sensei's face. "Sensei, how old were you when you met her?"

He sighed, "I don't see how any of this is relevant."

"It's relevant!"

Sakura and Kakashi both stared at Sasuke and Naruto as they were both quite heated over this conversation.

"...I was eleven...and before you ask...she looks the same then as she does now."

Sakura shook her head, "No way! How old are you right now, Sensei?"

"Do I really need to answer these questions?"

"Yes!"

Again, Kakashi sighed, "fine, fine. I'm twenty-six...not that I think this is important."

"Twenty-six...and you say Kagome looks the same?" Sakura did the math in her head, "that can't be, Kakashi-Sensei. That's fifteen years ago, how has she not aged? She looks eighteen or nineteen, and if she looked the same when you were eleven and we placed her age at nineteen back then...fifteen years later, that would make her thirty-four! There's no way!"

Kakashi nodded, "Yes...you are right, but it doesn't change the fact that she hasn't changed any. Have you guys thought of asking her how old she is?"

Naruto and Sasuke scoffed.

"Kakashi-Sensei, it's rude to ask a woman her age!" Sakura scolded.

"...but it's not rude to ask me?"

The three ignored him and continued to talk amongst themselves as they tried to find the fault in her age and Kakashi's logic...or, his memory.

Shrugging, Kakashi watched the three for a moment longer before he interrupted, "not that I don't find this all interesting, but tomorrow...you will start your missions as Genin, so be at training ground seven at six o'clock." He disappeared and the trip stared for a moment at the spot their Sensei had once been.

"Maybe asking her would be easier..." Naruto crossed his arms behind his head, "she'll either tell us or she won't...right?"

Nodding, Sasuke turned and pointed over his shoulder, "then shall we?"

"Wait, what about me!?"

Sasuke chuckled, "did I say you couldn't come?"

Sakura blushed as she watched the two walked away, her heart racing before she chased after her teammates. 'This isn't so bad...no, this is a new side of Sasuke that only Kagome and Naruto have been privileges to so far...now...I'll see it for myself! As a member of Team Kakashi! CHA!'
