Elena's POV

Dean's jarring voice snapped me out of my daze as every one of my senses was attacked. "I swear when I get out of theses… grrr." Dean growled, hearing him struggled. I looked up through blurry eyes. I coughed, feeling a shard of glass come back up, slicing my throat as it dislodged.

Dean grunted as he tried to struggle to get out of his seat. "Dean." I said as I numbly reached out. Dean startled out of panic stricken mind.

"Elena?" He responded back, trying to twist his head back to look at me.

"You should stop moving. You might be exacerbating your wounds." I commented as I fiddled with my seatbelt. It was jammed, causing an aggravated sigh to release from lips.

"I don't care about that… Sam was ejected from the car." Dean bgrunted, as I leaned forward. "Besides its worse for us stay to stay upside down." Dean mumbled.

My fangs were seriously irritating my gums. It seems Dean has alot more to worry about than internal bleeding. "Dean, tell me what you see outside." I asked.

"We are in the middle of fucking nowhere." Dean grunted. I jerked in surprise when Dean's body dropped to the top of the impala. "Fuck!" Dean exhaled.

"Are you okay?" I asked, now my fingers able to brush his shoulder the way he is position.

"I'm good. Think you able to walk?" Dean asked me as he slither his way back to me to help me out.

I braced my hands against the roof, taking a deep breath. "There's only one way to find out." I mumbled, observing the threads splintering under the knife that Dean's now wielding. I yelped as the pressure was released, tumbling to the roof, colliding with Dean.

"Oww!" I hissed from my wrist twisting the wrong way.

"Suck it up, big baby!" Dean said. It was meant to be a tease, but I could clearly see the dreadful look across his face. I huffed, nudging him away. "I'm really regretting not getting far away when I had the chance." I grouched back as I observed that there is no way we were getting out the back windows. Dean reading my mind, said "The drivers window is the only way we are getting out of here."

With that being said, Dean scooted back towards the front of the car. Following close behind, Dean had his legs already through the busted window. "Be careful. We don't know who or what is waiting for us on the other side." I commented, trying really hard to ignore Dean's jugular.

"If I had to bet… my money on the black eyed bastards. And if I don't get to Sammy on time, I'm killing every last one of those sumofbitches." Dean spoke in a deadly tone. He propelled the last of himself out of the car. I crawled towards the sunlight, only stopping when Dean offered his hand to me. I grabbed on, allowing Dean to pull me out of the stuffy car. Fresh air rushed me, a sigh of relief to just not be in that enclosed space.

I think every bone in my body cracked as Dean helped me up. " Stay here." Dean ordered, a silver pistol in his grip. I followed his line of sight to the big construction truck, still powered on. There was smoke filtering out of the front. Dean stayed his distance as he looked into the open's driver's side. My mouth watered at the permeating smell of the familiar copper that tinted with Sam's scent. The engine quieted as Dean removed the keys to the truck. I turned away from his sight, making sure my appearance was right.

"This doesn't make sense. We get attacked and this person doesn't even finish the job. What is the purpose of that?" I questioned, taking my mind off the growing hunger.

"We can have that conversation later. I need to find Sam." Dean said, releasing his clip from his gun, checking his bullets before injecting the clip again. Dean leaned down to take his hunter knife out of the leg case that was strapped to his calf. He held it out to me, but I shook my head to decline.

He looked at me for a quick second, before tucking the knife away. "I know for sure the car spun before halting, so Sam could have been propelled in any direction. I hate to do this, but we might have to split up." Dean said, looking around.

"Sam is in that direction." I said, not trying to waste time. Now really taking in the landscape of where we are, we are definitely in Northern California. If had to guess Beacon Falls was about an hour and a half to two hours from where we are.

"What? How the hell do you know that?" Dean asked suspiciously.

"You have your talents and I have mine." I said, walking in the direction that I pointed in. Dean fell into step, but he maintained a distance to keep his eyes on me.

"Castiel was a little tight lipped. How do you tie in with us?" Dean interrogated.

"That is a conversation is not one I want to have right now. I know you don't trust me, vice versa, but we are each other allies as of right now." I said, nose flaring as the smell got even stronger now that we are closer. The lack of hearing a heartbeat set me on edge, but I kept my worries to myself.

"Do you smell that?" Dean asked, pushing pass me with a brisk walk. Dean halted, a whisper "Fuck." slip his lips. I stopped where I was, seeing enough from my position.

"That's a lot of blood, Dean." I mumbled.

"Then, where is Sam? There is no way anyone walk away with that kind of blood loss." Dean paced.

My eyes looked over the scene to see that there was drag marks, but the blood trailed went about five feet before the blood cleared up. "Dean, someone dragged your brother off, but the blood trail ends right here." I said as I stopped where the trail ended. I sniffed the air subtlety, catching another scent. I frowned when I detected another vampire scent. It was so familiar to me and that was never a good thing.

"Dean, we need to go." I ordered, turning to make my way back to the total car. Dean grabbed my arm, causing me to turn around.

"What do you mean 'we have to go'? I'm not leaving Sam." Dean argued.

"Listen up, you are now in MY world and what took Sam, we do not want to be on their terms. If they wanted to kill Sam, they would have made their statement right here and now. I'm not walking into a trap without my ducks lined up in a row. Plus, you won't be able to find Sam without me, so you have no choice." I argued, snatching my arm out of his grasp.

I headed back to the car to look for one many phones that the Winchesters had in the glove department. I kneeled down to the ground to crawl back into the busted driver's window. I reached over to open the glove department, the contents spilling out on the roof. I grabbed one of three phones, opened to find cracked screen. Tossing it to the side, I grabbed the Motorola Razor. I pressed a button and the screen lit up. Luckily for me, it had a signal.

I typed in the first number to come in mind and hit 'dial'. Relief flooded me when heard the ringing on the other side. "Hello?" The familiar answered.

"Stefan, it's soo good to hear your voice." I spoke, ruffling my hair to the back.

"Elena, where have you been? Every news outlet is broadcasting about your plane crash." Stefan questioned.

"It is a long story, but I'm about two hours away from Beacon Hills. I don't know exactly where, but I know we have driven through here before. Maybe near Reeves County." I explained, looking around to see if Dean was still in view, but he wasn't. I knew he was okay from the sound of his heartbeat.

"It sounds familiar. I can see if Giles can cast a locator spell to get an exact location. Are you okay?" Stefan inquired.

"I will be okay once I'm back in Beacon Falls. Stefan, be careful. I know a vampire is involved and wherever a vampire is involved, Esther is not that far behind. Don't take any unnecessary risks." I ordered.

"You really are trouble magnet, you know that." Stefan teased.

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't deny the smile that I had. "Guess you can say that's why you find me so attractive." I giggled.

Stefan snorted and I can imagine the eyeroll accompanied with it. "Just for that corny joke, I should leave you stranded." Stefan quieten down for a brief moment before continuing. "Elena, hang tight. I'm coming for you."

"Okay, Stef. See you." I said, before we hung up on each other. I sighed, pocketing the phone. I looked up when I heard grass rustling. Dean appeared with a permanent frown on his face.

"It's time for you to be honest with me. No more bullshitting if you want me to trust you." Dean ordered.

I groaned, rolling my neck. I walked over to the grassy field and sat down. "We won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Take a seat." Dean hesitated before taking a seat a couple of feet away from me.

Sam's POV

I groaned, a migraine causing a steady stream of pounding. I blinked my eyes rapidly to dissipate the blurriness that settled over my eyes. I looked around in confusion to see that I was in a cabin of sorts.

I went to lift my arms, but my arms stayed in place. I tugged at the restraints, wiggling in my seat.

I looked up towards the door when a tall figure came in, stopping to stare at for a moment. "Who are you?" I questioned, tugging at my restraints.

The sound of the door closing echoed through bare minimum decorated cabin. "Mr. Winchester, glad to see that you are awake." A british accent filtered his words as the man grabbed a chair and dragged it towards me. He placed the chair across from me, before taking a seat.

"Who are you?" I bit out again, giving up the restraints to turn my full attention to the man. His eyes were a moss-green and his hair borderline brown. Everything about the man clean and stiff, but old fashioned as well.

"Mr. Winchester, your presence here is only a means to an end. I don't mean to see harm come to you, but I won't hesitate to take extreme measures. And if so happen you manage to get pass me undetected, you won't by the way, you have familiar friends waiting on the other side of this door." As of a cue, bone chilling snarls and scratches at the door started to happen. I swallowed nervously at the thought of getting mixed with hellhounds again. The flash memory of my brother crossed my mind.

"Where is my brother?" I questioned, ignoring the pounding at the door.

"Not in captivity if that is what you are asking. Ms. Gilbert is a very smart woman, so don't expect a failed rescue anytime soon. That's enough questions for now. Do try to relax Mr. Winchester, it's going to be a long night for you." The tall man stood from chair to head to another room, stopping for a second to answer my awaited question. "Finn Mikaelson is my name.
