Cindy was still aching after she got pushed down the stairs and running only made her pain worse. Unfortunately, both witches didn't know how to drive.
Angel exclaimed "Well, one of us needs to get everyone out of here!"
Vanessa replied "Well, you should drive because you have better vision!"
Angel couldn't argue with that, so she sat in the front seat, took a deep breath, and said "We're all caught in a terrible strife so please car, come to life!"
The engine started to rumble. Angel told it to take them to a safe place and the car did as it said. Vanessa's eyes widened in surprise and Cindy looked up to see Angel put her hands on the wheel while the car was moving.
"You… You said a spell." She turned to Vanessa. "And… You said Angel has better vision. I thought the glasses was just part of your disguise."
Vanessa sweated.
"You're… Witches?"
Looks like the cat was out of the bag now. Vanessa slowly nodded.
Cindy began crying again. "You… You all lied to me! I can't believe I listened to the both of you! If… If I had listened to Mom, this wouldn't have happened… I hate you! I hate the both of you! This is the worst night ever!" She sobbed into her hands.
Vanessa began tearing up and said "Cindy…"
"No! I don't want to hear anything from you anymore!"
Angel softly asked "Vanessa, why did you lie to Cindy that we were angels in the first place?"
"Hey, don't blame everything on me. You went along with it."
"I'm not blaming you. Besides, if I didn't go along with it, Cindy would've lost her trust in us long time ago."
"Well, Cindy's godmother said something about angels coming right? So… I thought I'd use it as a way to get Cindy to trust us. It's not like we could tell her, hey we're witches who's trying to save your world's cause' your world's been distorted."
Cindy replied "What? I don't care. I don't care what you're talking about." She covered her ears. "I don't care. Let me out. I don't want to be anywhere near you guys."
Angel softly said "Cindy, I understand that you're upset because we lied to you. But, I promise you. Your car will take us to a safe place and once you're feeling better, you're free to drive away if you want. Right, Vanessa?"
"Uh. Yeah, right." Vanessa replied reluctantly before looking back down in sadness.
"Alright." said Cindy.
After a while, the car finally stopped in front of a dress shop called Bibbidi Bobbidi Dresses.
Cindy looked up and said "Huh? This is my godmother's shop." She lowered her head. "But, what's the point? My godmother's watching the house right now."
Suddenly, a bright white light illuminated the car windows. When the white light was gone, Cindy's godmother was standing next to the car!
"What's the matter Cindy?" asked Cindy's godmother.
Cindy got out of the car, hugged the woman, and exclaimed "Godmother!"
"Oh, Cindy. I know tonight seems horrible but it's not your friends' fault. I know they lied to you, but they really do care about you dear. And about our world."
"Our…World?" Cindy turned to Vanessa. "You. You said that the world was distorted. What do you mean by that?"
Vanessa said "Look, Cindy. It's going to be really hard to believe and I know you're mad at me."
"Just say it."
Vanessa pouted her lips and said "Everything in the world has changed. This. This was not supposed to happen. You going to high school. All of it. The events of this world have changed. You are Cinderella. Charles is the prince."
Cindy gave Vanessa a strange look and said, "Don't lie to me Vanessa."
Vanessa said "Oh… I'm not Cindy! I may have lied about being an angel but, but everything else I told you is the truth. How can I make you believe me?"
Suddenly, another lightbulb appeared above Vanessa's head.
"Ok… This is going to be embarrassing but it's worth a shot." Vanessa frowned, trying to remember something then started humming and singing "So this is love~"
After she finished trying to softly sing Cinderella's duet with the prince, Cindy widened her eyes. The song did sound very familiar and she got flashbacks of her in a blue dress and Charles wearing a prince outfit.
"I. I believe you now."
Angel put her hand on Vanessa's shoulder. "Nice singing."
Vanessa blushed and thanked her.
Cindy asked "So, what's causing all this?"
Angel said "The clock tower, it's. Infected with a bad energy, but we don't know how to stop it. And every time it rings, bad things happen. That's why your friends are acting mean to you. It controlled your friends. We tried to stop it… But our powers are no match for it."
Cindy's godmother said "And that's why I'm here. To help. Let's go into my home."
While Cindy, Vanessa, and Angel were sitting on the couch, Cindy's godmother was looking for something important. It took her a little while, but she returned with a deck of tarot cards.
"I apologize for the wait."
Vanessa reacted "Ooh. ~ Tarot cards."
Angel softly said "Uh, um... I'm sorry but how will tarot cards help us?"
Cindy's godmother winked then said, "A magician never reveals their secrets." She sat down in front of the girls and continued speaking "Now, Cindy. All you have to do is ask the cards a question. It cannot be a yes or no question."
Cindy had a thoughtful look then after a moment of silence, she asked "How do we restore the world back to normal?"
Vanessa gave Cindy a surprised look.
Cindy smiled "Restoring the world is what's important right?"
Vanessa and Angel happily agreed.
Cindy's godmother sang the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo song while waving a white wand and the cards spun in a tornado surrounded by sparking white light then 3 cards flew out of the tornado while the remaining cards gathered back into a neat pile.
She raised her wand and the first card turned towards them while floating in midair. "This is the past card. The World card represents the end of a cycle and our world was supposed to repeat a continuous cycle of events until it became distorted."
The second card turned towards the girls in midair. "This is your present. The Tower. Horrifying picture isn't it? It represents danger, crisis, sudden change, and destruction. All of which is caused by the tainted clock tower. But... Don't despair, we haven't seen the last card yet."
The final card turned around and emitted a soft glow. "And this... Will be our present. The Sun. It means a good outcome will come in the end."
The card went into Cindy's hand. "Cindy. Use that card to protect yourself."
The white light surrounding the card got stronger and aimed towards Vanesa's heart.
"Vanessa, it seems you have a connection with the key that will lead us to victory."
Vanessa pointed at herself. "M-Me?"
Cindy's godmother told her to repeat after her.
Cindy's godmother and Vanessa said "Sun, moon, and every shining star, send us the aid we need from afar!"
A white aura surrounded the woman's body and rose towards the ceiling, looking like shining stars while a red aura surrounded Vanessa's body and rose towards the ceiling with a bright glare.
Everyone closed their eyes. When the sparkling white glows got absorbed into the red glare, a pink moon appeared on the ceiling before it spiraled, and a young girl's voice yelled "Ahhh!"
It was a girl with black hair that had brown highlights tied in a ponytail, she had brown eyes, wore a blue zipper jacket, blue jeans, and a white shirt that read "I Luv Food."
Cindy's godmother and Vanessa felt weak as they got to their knees. Cindy ran towards her godmother's side.
The girl fell on Vanessa and said out loud "I'm... I'm still alive..."
Vanessa was mumbling.
The girl said "Huh?"
Angel said "P... Please get off Vanessa!"
The girl said "Vanessa?"
She stood up, looked down, and said "Vanessa?!"
Vanessa slowly sat up with Angel's help then looked at the girl and said "Sakura?!"
