Chapter 18 Allen and Leo.
Leo, not Leo. Anyone but Leo, Allen tells himself. Sam, yeah Sam, he can heal. There was no way in hell was Leo healing him. Allen would rather die. No, one could make him let Leo heal him. He tells himself. White and blue orbs of light manifest and fade leaving behind Leo.
"Another student?" Leo asked.
"Not exactly, heal and ask questions later," Piper answers. Leo walks over to Allen, who takes a couple of steps back.
"I'll wait for Sam," Allen said.
"I can heal just as good as Sam," Leo replied.
"I doubt it, Sam," Allen said.
"He's with another charge," Leo says.
"Then call another, I'm not having you heal me," Allen responds.
"If you wait any longer it could get worse," Piper spoke-up.
"I don't care, I'd rather lose my arm to gangrene," Allen snapped.
"Alright, enough kid let Leo heal you," Piper said.
"No chance in hell," Allen replied.
"ALLEN! I swear if you don't let Leo..." Piper started.
"Alright no need to yell," Allen interrupted.
"Allen, but Allen is..." Leo started.
"Not now Leo," Piper butted in. Allen sighed and held out his injured arm to Leo. The Elder with both of his hands hovering over Allen's arm released a warm orange glow. It only took about a minute or two for Allen's wound to heal completely. Leo moved his hands away from Allen's arm.
"How does it feel?" Leo asked.
"Let's find out," Allen said, he then made a hand gesture with his former injured hand. Leo then exploded and as he started to reforms in orbs. He made another gesture freezing the orbs.
"You're really pushing it kid," Piper said.
"You've done it plenty of times," Allen responds, "Now just how are we going to defeat the Headless Horseman?"
"You're not," Piper says.
"I have an idea," Phoebe said announcing her presence in the library.
"Where have you been?" Piper asked as she turned to look at her little sister.
"Chasing a wolf long story, now I'm thinking I go around each suspect and get a reading off them. To see who our little villain is," Phoebe answers.
"We might still need a Power of Three spell to vanquish the Headless Horseman though," Paige pointed.
"Then you better get writing a spell," Phoebe replied to her younger sister.
After Paige completed her task in writing a vanquishing spell for the Headless Horseman. Phoebe requested that Gideon should gather all the students into one room. Much to Allen's annoyance, Piper sent Allen to another classroom with Leo. In the other classroom, Allen is sat legs crossed on a desk reading a magic textbook anything to avoid conversation the Elder.
"Pretty convincing glamour," Leo commented.
"Easy spell," Allen replied not looking up from the textbook.
"You have Piper's powers," Leo said.
"Quite a few people share molecular-based powers," Allen replied again.
"Piper is the first magical being to possess more than one molecular-based power," Leo pointed out.
"Damn I'm a runner up that is a bummer," Allen responded.
"You're her son aren't you? My son that's the only thing that makes sense," Leo asked. Allen slams the book shut and tossed it over to another table. He then uncrossed his legs and slid off the desk.
"Piper is my mother, but you are not my father. I was lucky to escape sharing genetics with you," Allen answered his tone blunt.
"It's the only explanation," Leo said, Allen scoffed at Leo's response.
"Why is that the only explanation? Mom has always been beautiful. It's not like men only started to notice her until after she hit the sheets with an angel," Allen replied.
"Piper wouldn't want to marry someone else, who was magical. And she wouldn't want to marry someone else who was mortal. Who couldn't handle magic. Especially when it plays such a big part of her life," Leo said.
"A lot can happen in a couple of years, Leo. Now kindly be quiet I've never been one to like talking with Elders or Whitelighters," Allen replied.
"You hate me, why?" Leo asks.
"I don't hate, you. I loathe you and any other Whitelighter. You're all the same you never learn from your mistakes, you never take responsibilities for your actions," Allen answered.
"I have always taken responsibilities," Leo responded. Allen just scoffed.
"And the Source did charity. You and the Elders never have. One, you're incapable of making a decision between being a mortal or a Whitelighter guess what both have pros and cons make one and live with it. Two you can't even hide who your favourite child is. You never even tried, every parent has a favourite but unlike you, most don't love their other child or children less or are open about it," Allen snapped.
"You told me, you weren't my son," Leo replied.
"I'm not this isn't about me and you. This is about you and CHRISTOPHER. YOU'RE OTHER SON!" Allen shouted. Leo is taken back by this outburst.
"Chris is my son," Leo said his voice almost a whisper.
"No… Another Christopher one who's blond and short with brown eyes. Nothing at all like the Chris, I came back with," Allen replied, damn it Allen told himself, Chris was going to kill him.
"He's part Whitelighter, he has a telekinesis a Warren power," Leo pointed out.
"Whitelighter-Witches are all the rage in the future and telekinesis is such a typical power. You're pretty ancient your hearing isn't as good as it used to be," Allen said, he had to fix this somehow.
"I have to talk Piper and Chris now," Leo said, it couldn't wait. Hopefully, they had dealt with the Headless Horseman by now.
End of chapter 18.
