I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who started to follow this story and to those who commented. Like I said, your guys comments motivate me a lot so, here is already the next chapter. Thank you so much ^^. Thank you for the new faves as well guys! Btw i didn't "proofread" this chapter so, sorry for any grammer or spelling mistakes.

I was sinking. Deeper and deeper, while flailing around with my arms, desperately trying to grab onto something. My whole body felt cold, like I fell into a whole pool of ice-cold water. I kept my mouth shut to prevent it from invading my lungs. My eyelids glued shut as if I had no control over them. But soon I couldn't hold my breath anymore. My lungs were starting to ache for fresh air. Thinking logically, I tried to flail my arms upwards, maybe I could reach the surface. My legs kicking the 'water' downwards, but nothing was happening. I was flailing around in place.

"Gen!" A female voice called out to me. The voice seemed so far away that for a second, I thought it was my imagination.

"GEN!"

Hands grabbed my shoulders and I felt a harsh pull upwards. The 'water' now rushing past me as if it didn't hold me down seconds ago.

"GENNY! WAKE UP!" the top of my head hit the surface first and I took a deep breath and ripped my eyes open.

I cackled a few times before I was finally able to take deep breaths. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around to find myself in my room in Forks.

"Are you alright? Please, say something!" A distressed Bella was beside me on the bed. Her arms around me rubbing my back soothingly with one hand.

"Bella?" I asked a bit confused. My mind was still comprehending what just happened.

"Yes…yes it's me…what happened?"

I grabbed my head feeling a headache as I looked around again before my eyes stopped at the window. It was already the break of dawn.

"What time is it?" I asked her and she looked at me for a moment before she answered: "It's maybe 7am. …Gen? what just happened? You were holding your breath and flailing around…I thought…I…Edward heard you, he wanted to barge in himself…"

"It's alright, thanks for waking me up. It was just a nightmare of me drowning."

Suddenly Charlie came into the room. For a second, I thought it was Edward who was probably hiding somewhere in Bella's room right now but nope, it was Charlie with his hair all messed up from waking up in a hurry. His face full of distress, a gun in one hand…okay…

"Genesis? Bella? What's wrong?"

I tried to get rid of Bella's arms, but she just kept a firm grip on me, which was kind of surprising considering how skinny and frail she was: "Genesis, had a nightmare of drowning. She was holding her breath and I came in just in time to wake her up…"

"You're exaggerating, Bella. It was just a nightmare. Everyone knows that you wake up right before you die, because it's not real."

I gave them a small amused smile to tell them that they were overreacting…I mean come on…it was just a dream…

"Gen, I had to grab your shoulders and pull you up and you were still holding your breath…normally you'd wake up as soon as someone touches you."

Charlie stepped closer and suddenly laid a hand onto my forehead. Without me realizing it I closed my eyes and leaned into his warm palm. It was so…comforting. But he soon let it fall again with a deep sigh: "Genny, this really doesn't sound good. You're having a lot of nightmares lately…is something bothering you? Is everything alright?"

I widened my eyes in surprise: "What…how did you know?"

"I'm your dad, Gen. I know that you love to sleep but recently you've been up way too early and your eyebags are getting bigger each day. Something is bothering you…"

I looked at Charlies concerned eyes. Bella's arms keeping me against her chest while she hugged me from the side: "I'm alright, I promise. I've just had a few nightmares. They will pass eventually."

Charlie stroked with his free hand over his face as if he was annoyed with my answer before he sighed: "Alright, you can always talk to us, Genny." He announced with his groggy morning voice and I smiled at him: "I know, dad. Don't worry about it."

He nodded and patted my head: "Good night girls."

He closed the door behind him as he left.

"Genny? Please tell me…what is wrong?" Bella pressed further. I should have known that she wouldn't give in that easily.

She was always the persistent type…hence her finding out about Edward and his family was just the prove of that.

"It's nothing. Just stupid nightmares, Bells."

She finally let go of me but not without staring me down: "Edward was about to call Carlisle. He thought that you might have a serious condition."

I huffed amusingly at her: "What…like a heart attack or what?" I asked her chuckling.

"It's not funny, Gen. It was very scary…are you sure that you want to go play baseball with the Cullen's and I?"

"Of course. Bella you're seriously overreacting. It was just a stupid nightmare. Physically I'm completely okay."

Bella sighed annoyed and stroke her hair backwards, untangling some knots in the process: "Alright, go back to sleep then. Good night." She got up and walked towards the door as I called out a soft "Good night" as well.

As soon as the door closed behind her I announced: "Edward, if you hear this…don't tell her anything!"

And this is how I cried myself back to sleep. Without anyone interrupting me.

Of course, it was not just a nightmare. I thought I was drowning for real. Everything hurt, including my lungs. It felt like they were exploding any second. But I couldn't let them know. Why should I let them know? It's not their problem, it was mine. Because I am stuck here, not them…

It was only a matter of days until I was finally able to go back. All this will finally end, and I will be at home with my real family. Hugging my parents tightly while I enjoy their comforting warmth.

I woke up very late…maybe around 2:30pm. My eyes were glued together from the dried tears from last 'night'. It was really hard to motivate myself to get up. Not, because I was in a bad mood… I was actually quite rested and felt better after crying…it was more like that my body ached so much. I felt like an old granny that fell down a bunch of stairs and broke her hip in the process. Every bone was clicking and making noises as I moved. I stretched a few times until I finally got up and dressed myself. I guess Bella wanted to let me sleep in after what happened last 'night'. I hope that sparkle pants kept his mouth shut!

I went downstairs right into the kitchen to see Bella sitting at the table on her phone: "Morning." I announced, startling her in the process.

"…hey, how are you feeling?"

"Better, bells. Thanks for letting me sleep in." She gave me a small smile before she pointed towards the coffee machine: "I made you some coffee, I heard you in your bathroom washing up."

With a smile and a small squeal, I hugged her: "Thank you! You're the best Bellsy."

She tapped my arm a few times while chuckling herself: "No problem. You should eat something and then get ready; Edward will be here soon to get us."

With my warm cup of coffee and a plane bagel I sat in front of her at the kitchen table: "It's the first time for him to meet dad, right?"

Bella scratched right above her left eyebrow, which she sometimes did when she felt uncomfortable and a bit nervous: "Yeah, it's harder than I thought…"

"Don't worry. Edward is very polite and last time when dad and I talked about Edward, he was happy that it was a doctor's son."

Bella groaned and buried her face into her hands while I laughed: "This is so weird, why are you talking about stuff like that."

"It's normal. I'm your older sister and dad is…well dad…we wanna protect you, Bellsy."

She gave me a gentle smile while letting her hands fall onto the table in front of her.

"Thanks." I patted her head a few times before I shoved the last piece of the bagel into my mouth and got up from the chair: "Okay, I'm gonna go and dress up."

She nodded once with a smile before I went off.

I was just about to grab my phone and wallet when I heard a distressed Bella call up the stairs, for me to hurry.

I immediately ran downstairs and looked at her with my freshly made ponytail swinging back and forth from the hurry: "I'm ready. Sorry, I had to take a shower."

I suddenly felt a warm hand on my shoulder startling me: "You keep her save, Genny." Charlie announced as he came to stand beside me. He squeezed my shoulder a bit in the process.

"Always, dad." Suddenly out of nowhere he gave me a small kiss on my temple. I had to hold myself back from gawking at him. That was…quite unusual…what just happened?

"Great…Gen you ready?" Bella announced a bit annoyed now that both Charlie and I were so protective.

Well, I mean…we need to come to an end here right…she can't die! (I'm such a bad person…)

Bella went off and I ran after her to see Edward waiting outside: "Hello, Genesis. How are you?" He asked me with a gentle smile, but I could see right through him. He had this weird shine in his eyes…it was concern?

"He, I'm fine. You?" he sighed a bit as if he was not satisfied with my answer before he composed himself again and gave me a smile: "I'm great. Let's go."

He turned towards a Jeep that was parked in our driveway, Bella went after him and I followed.

I got in after Bella, sitting in the back.

Edward turned on the engine before he huffed amused: "Your father thinks you both should go to an all-girl's school."

I had to chuckle myself while Bella went with her hand over the baseball cap that she must have put on before I went downstairs: "No fair, reding Charlie's mind…" She turned to take a look at me for chuckling when she saw the baseball beside me: "…and since when do vampires like baseball?"

Edward shrugged his shoulders: "It's the American pastime…." I interrupted him before he could continue: "…also…there is a thunderstorm coming in and Alice told me that it's the only time they can actually play."

I could literally feel Bella's eyebrows going up in confusion without me actually seeing it. Edward looked at her before he chuckled: "Genesis, is right, you'll see."

Edward was driving us right into the forest, up a small mountain. I was surprised that there was a road for the car to go up there…some might think that there were too many trees to do so put nope…

When he came to a halt, I saw two more cars parked there as well. Somehow, I didn't imagine them coming up with the cars here. They could have easily run up here with their full speed. They would have probably been here in seconds.

It was a very beautiful big clearing and I gaped at it when I got out of the car.

Before I could continue admiring our surrounding however, I was already in a tight and cold embrace of a very giddy Alice Cullen…. honestly…that was a bit creepy…I didn't even see her until she was already embracing me…

"I missed you." She announced in her twinkling voice as I started to return the hug.

I patted her back a few times, being awkward with the physical contact, before I answered: "Missed you too, dear Alice."

A huge hand suddenly pat my head and I awkwardly turned around since Alice was still embracing me. It was Emmett who had a grin on his face like a Cheshire cat: "Hello, little human."

"Hey, big vampire." But seriously, what's with people patting my head…it happens quite frequently…

Alice finally let go of me only to take my wrist and drag me towards none other than Dr. Carlisle Cullen and Rosalie. They seemed to talk to each other but realized that we were coming right at them. Carlisle looked at me with a gentle smile…damn it! I nearly forgot the awkward texting from yesterday…but he seems to be fine right? He is not cranky right? I mean…if he was still cranky…wouldn't Alice at least tell me that or…Edward?

Rosalie had her arms crossed in front of her chest: "Great, the humans are here."

I watched Carlisle's smile vanish as he looked at Rosalie: "Be nice, Rosalie. Genesis and Bella are guests." He scolded her which surprised me a bit…granted I never really saw them interact with each other so much. Last time they were too focused on questioning me…or rather me questioning them. He truly was their father wasn't he, because Rosalie immediately closed her mouth with a scoff.

"It's alright, Dr. Cullen. I'm not offended, we are only humans after all." Rosalie looked at me, her eyes piercing right through my soul. I was not really sure if she wanted to kill me or not…if so…I hoped that she'll do it quick…

"Genesis, how many times do I have to tell you to just call me, Carlisle."

"Oh, I'm sorry…I seem to forget that all the time." Yeah forgot…my ass!

It was awkward to just call him Carlisle. We aren't even that close and after yesterday's awkward texting, it was even weirder…are we 'bros' now or what…

"At least she has manners." Rosalie mumbled to herself before she turned around and walked away.

Alice who was all the time beside me was silently grinning. She was way too giddy today…what was wrong with her today?

"Then I guess, I'll have to remind you every time until you won't forget."

"It's time!" Alice suddenly called out, which I was very thankful for because this was awkward as hell. Why was it so damn awkward to talk to him…I felt like every word might be the wrong word and he'll hate me or something…

I just wanted to walk after Alice when Carlisle suddenly stretched out his hand towards me: "You and Bella are the umpires."

Seriously…he wants to take my hand…I guess I'll have to go with it…I mean…it's not that weird right. It's just him leading me to where I have to stand…right…

A bit hesitant I laid my hand into his to feel his cold fingers embrace it. It was…different. Alice hugged me many times or linked her arms with mine, but this was different. This felt softer? Alice was usually hard as a rock but Carlisle's hand…his skin…it felt more real…softer… if that makes any sense…

He led me towards a point a bit further away from Bella who was already standing in a position. I guess she was taking this way more serious than I did…

"He thinks we are cheating." A grinning Emmett called Carlisle out.

While the doctor just chuckled and answered: "Oh, I know you cheat. Dear Genesis and Bella will surely agree after today."

Suddenly a deep rumble from the storm could be heard before a loud thunder shook the forest.

Wtf?! Was this even save…we're during a thunderstorm in a freaking forest! We are surrounded by trees… I mean…wasn't everyone always telling us to keep away from the trees…

"It's alright, nothing will happen to you, Genesis. Trust me." Carlisle announced with a gentle smile before he came to stand beside me. "You're the catcher?" I asked him.

"Yes, until it's my turn to hit the ball."

…aaaand it's awkward again…great…

"Let's start!" Alice called out once more, annoyance in her voice because she had to repeat herself for us to finally get to our positions.

Rosalie stood in front of us with the baseball bat in her hands when Alice suddenly pitched the ball with lightning-fast speed. Rosalie hit the ball and I had to prevent myself from covering my ears from the loud impact. I mean I know that Alice told me it was because of the noise it made that they were playing this during a thunderstorm…but damn…that was on a whole different level.

The ball flew into the forest…I don't even wanna know how far away it went. Rosalie ran off so fast that my ponytail swished after her. Edward and Emmett became fast blurs as they ran after the ball.

"Holy…" I prevented myself from saying 'shit'. Carlisle was still beside me, I can't afford him to think that I'm a 'heathen', but to my surprised he just laughed: "You can say it, I won't judge, because I completely agree. This is where we can show our full potential without holding back."

Just as Rosalie was about to make a homerun, the ball came flying right into Carlisle's baseball glove and he slid in.

"Out!" I called out for everyone to hear. Though I'm sure I didn't have to be so loud, it was just the euphoric feeling of everything that was currently happening around me…I couldn't help myself…

Rosalie stood up and looked at me: "You're better at this than I thought."

"Well, my dad watches sport a lot…but thanks I guess."

Without saying anything she turned around and exchanged cloves with Carlisle.

"Wish me luck." Dr. Cullen suddenly said with a smile while looking right into my eyes.

…Okay…creeper alert…once again!

"Good luck." I stuttered out before he winked at me and walked in front of us ready to hit the ball.

…uhm…am I missing something? I looked questioningly towards Rosalie, she was already looking back before she sighed and shook her head to concentrate on the game again. She went into position and the ball came already flying. I prepared myself for the noise, which I didn't have to wait for very long. It was even louder than Rosalie's hit. Dr. Cullen hit a line drive, because Emmett and Edward were both off to reach it. Diving nearly 15 feet and colliding with such a force which made another enormous sound. Damn it! Those Cullen's are really going for it, aren't they?

Dr. Cullen came running in and I called out once again: "Safe!"

With a nearly cocky smile he turned towards me: "Thank you for your luck, Genesis. It helped a lot."

I raised my eyebrow a bit: "You're welcome I guess."

He walked off where Jasper stood to give him the baseball when Rosalie's voice suddenly announced beside me: "He hasn't had a homerun in a very long time."

I didn't answer her because it felt like she was thinking out loud. At first I thought it was weird to make a big deal out of it but Dr. Cullen actually looked quite happy after Jasper patted him on the shoulder. Well, I guess I can be happy for him too, it seems like he needed that one…homerun…

Jasper walked over towards us with the baseball bat. He grinned at me while doing some amazing tricks with it. My eyes could barley keep up as he did them: "Wow! Nice, Jasper."

He gave me an even prouder smile while coming to stand in front of Rosalie, ready to hit the next pitch. He actually hit the ball so hard that it went flying over a few trees…wtf…

"STOP!" A distressed Alice suddenly called out. Everyone came to a halt. I suddenly saw Edward right beside Bella. Without me realizing it, Rosalie grabbed me and dragged me towards the center where we seemed to gather.

Wtf was going on?!

"I didn't' see them..." Alice said in distress. What? What was happening.

Alice started off into the distance through the trees: "They're traveling so quickly."

"You said they left the county." Rosalie nearly growled beside me. It was now that I realized that she still had both her hands on my shoulder while a third one was at the small of my back gripping the fabric of my jacket. I looked to my other side to see…Carlisle…his face full of worry. What was happening. What happened in the movie?! I can't remember…why can't I remember…why didn't I pay more attention to the movie…what was going on?

My headache seemed to comeback again with every second that my brain tried to work this out.

"They did, but then they heard us…" Alice looked towards Edward before her eyes landed on Carlisle: "…and changed their minds…" She finished her sentence.

Edward started to pull Bella's cap off: "Put your hair down." Bella immediately followed the instructions.

Without me noticing Rosalie started to pull my hair tie out of my hair as well: "It won't help. I could smell them from across the field." She announced put continued to help me anyway.

"I shouldn't have brought you both here. I'm so sorry." Edward kept on mumbling. Suddenly a cardigan was thrown over me and someone helped me put my arms through the sleeves. I looked down to see that Rosalie already buttoned it up. It was…was this Dr. Cullen's? I turned towards him and sure as hell it was his. What was going on?

Rosalie took off her cap and put it over my head. Carlisle suddenly scooped my hair up and put it into the cardigan.

"No matter what happens, stay behind us!" Carlisle announced to Bella and me.

I was just about to ask, what was going on when suddenly all of the Cullen's turned towards the direction to which Alice was staring off to seconds ago. There they were…at the edge of the forest. Three all too familiar vampires, including the blond dude with his stupid ass wig on his head…Fuck!

I totally forgot that this blond dude will start stalking Bella here, after the baseball game. How could I forget? Was I starting to forget things from the movie…those few things that I still knew about it…I'm starting to forget them…how am I gonna survive in this world…fuck!...

"I believe this belongs to you."

Okay guys, are you ready for the big showdown? Because in the next chapter everything will be revealed and I'm already so excited! There will be a major plot twist, a lot of questions will be answered, and I hope you guys will like it.

Btw I wanted to clear something up. The thing with Jacob in the last chapter…a lot of you guys didn't like me hinting onto that Jacob might have a crush on Genesis. Honestly, I did it for more drama. Everything will turn out the same in the end so don't worry about that. It's just that I wanted to have drama XD…sorry for that…but please don't worry…

Thank you for your attention my lovelies :D
