The camp was a large oval, with logs making up the fence walls. Two guards stood watch at the gate. Suddenly two shadows darted down from the tree canopy, slamming down on the guard's heads and knocking them out. The two shadows dashed behind a parked truck. Another shadow dashed down from the canopy and dragged the bodies into the jungle. The shadow then dashed behind the truck as well.
"Man, you two would make some great ninjas!" Marcus whispered excitedly at the other two.
Eric smiled happily, showing off his sharp cat-like teeth.
"Of course we would, we're cats." Manny smirked.
The three heroes saw a few patrol guards heading in their direction, they looked at each other and nodded with a smirk. Manny and Eric took them down and Marcus quickly hid the unconscious bodies. They quickly made their way through Slayers Camp. The plan was to rescue any prisoners and take the camp down from the inside, Eric would take anyone who couldn't fight into the jungle and watch over them.
"Frida's scent is this way." Manny whispered over his shoulder, Marcus and Eric nodded
The blond boy perked up and smiled excitedly; "I can smell Jade too!" he whispered excitedly.
"I feel a little left out." Marcus chuckled quietly.
"When we get home, I'll teach you how to track people by scent." El Tigre smiled.
Marcus raised a brow and made a confused expression; "You can't do that."
"Sure I can! I'll hold up clothing up to your nose and you can guess who it belongs to." Manny snickered quietly.
"No!" Marcus hissed back at him. "That's weird on its own, and I know you'll use somebodies underwear!" He snapped quietly, Manny chuckling all through his disgust.
They snuck around the backs of a few tents and looked around the corner. There was a rather large tent with two armored guards in front of it. The three looked around to make sure there were no cameras or other people to see, then they nodded at each other, preparing for a take down.
The two guards were taken by surprise as a beam of light shot towards them, hitting them and knocking them to the ground, bouncing off them and landing on the ground. Manny and Marcus quickly ran at them and knocked them out before they could make a noise. That "beam of light" was just Crystal Cheetah, using his Star Strike power move.
The three quickly went into the prison tent to get Frida and Jade…but something was wrong. The cages were empty, the cage doors wide open.
"Where are they?" Eric looked around in a panic. He really wanted Jade back.
"Well they were definitely here; their scent is pretty strong in here." The tiger boy looked around, sniffing the air. He turned and saw something red in a cage, he walked closer and his eyes went a bit wide.
"Frida's goggles!" He quickly picked them up and pulled them over his head and around his neck. "She must not have left here by choice, she never leaves these behind!"
"They must have been moved." Mark looked back at the tent entrance. "I have a bad feeling about this…" He scowled.
"You think it might be a trap?" The blond kid went wide eyed.
"I don't wanna stay and find out, lets go!" Mark responded quickly.
The three turned on their heels and headed out the tent flap, but were stopped in their tracks as a baseball bat came swinging at their faces. They scrambled out of the way, Manny falling on his back. He shut his eyes tight as the bat was headed at his face before he could react, but the hit never came.
"Manny?!" The familiar voice of his favorite electric blue haired, rock star, crazy lady asked.
"Frida?!" Tigre snapped open his eyes and jumped to his feet.
Frida dropped the bat and the two hugged each other tightly, Manny picking her up.
"How did you get out?" Manny grinned happily at her.
"I lockpicked the door!" She stated confidently.
"You made us think this was a trap!" He chuckled with mock snark.
*Ahem* Mark coughed; "Speaking of "us", we're here too." He smirked "And we really shouldn't stand out here in the open, you two can canoodle later." He continued, clearly anxious to leave the area.
Manny blushed bright red and put Frida down. Abruptly there was a bloody sounding cough, they looked behind Frida to see Jade leaning on a crate. She was bruised and bloody.
"Jade!?" Eric exclaimed.
"Shush!" Jade hissed at the upset boy, who quickly ran to her side.
"What happened to you?" Marcus raised a brow in concern.
"Slayer beat the tar out of her and took her mask." Frida explained bitterly, very ticked off at said man.
"What?!" Eric snapped in disbelief, Marcus quickly hushing him. They were trying to be stealthy after all.
"I need my mask *cough* b-back." Jade stated hoarsely.
"We will, but you need a doctor first." Eric hugged her and helped her stand.
"Marcus and I will go find your mask, but first we're stealing a jeep so you and Frida can get out of here." Manny reasoned.
"Excuse me, I'm not leaving!" Frida put her hands on her hips and frowned.
"Oh yes you are, that dude punched through a train car floor!" Manny snapped protectively.
"And I helped distract that dude, saving your butt!" Frida snapped right back.
"I still got hurled to the jungle floor, and you got captured!"
"But I got myself out!"
"Not before Jade got beaten into a pulp! What if he catches you again and does that to you?!"
Marcus pinched the bridge of his nose and groaned, officially annoyed with the lovers quarrels he was having to witness.
"OK! That's enough!" He stated, stepping in between the two. "Eric's hurt too, he will get out of Jade out here." The demonic boy stated firmly, clearly expressing his annoyance of the argument with a series of glares at both Frida and Manny.
"But-" Manny went to protest, but Mark cut him off again; "Nope! We're done arguing! Eric is hurt, Frida's not. End of discussion!"
Frida smirked proudly. Manny pouted and crossed his arms, looking at the dirt in silent disagreement.
"Alright, with that settled, lets head to the jeeps." Mark stated, walking over to Jade and helping her walk. He would have carried her, but her pride was too strong for that.
They quickly snuck around the backs of tents, being quiet as possible. They headed for the gate, there was a jeep there. But as they turned around the corner of a tent into an area full of crates, they ran right smack into a certain panda themed bitch. Skull Panda, with about a dozen heavily armed guards behind her.
"Damn it!" Marcus cursed, he was on his last nerve now.
"Such language! How rude." Chen pretended to be offended, with a sickeningly fake innocence.
"Say's the woman who quite literally stabbed one of her friends in the back!" Manny growled at her. Eric looked hurt.
"H-how could you do this Chen, you were our friend!" He asked upsetly.
She smirked evilly; "You say that like I actually cared for you in the first place."
Eric balled up his fists, looking at the ground as his face darkened, a few tears running down his cheeks. Suddenly he slammed his fist on the ground and a crystal wall shot up from the ground, separating our heroes from Chen and her little army. Bullets from their guns bouncing off the wall.
Crystal Cheetah than jumped up and over the wall, El Tigre and Marcus following close behind. Frida waited with annoyance, helping Jade stand. A few moments later, after the gunshots and general fight noises stopped, the crystal wall disappeared into a ball of light, vanishing. The armed guards scattered across the ground, knocked out cold. Chen left standing behind the bodies, looking mildly annoyed. Manny then perked up, smelling something familiar.
"Slayer!" he growled.
"Marcus, can you handle Chen by yourself?" Tigre asked
The fire powered boy looked at him with a slight of offence. "Yeah, she's not that tough. Why?"
Manny had already jumped onto a crate, looking back he yelled over his shoulder; "I'm going after Slayer!" and he ran off in the direction of the scent.
"Manny!" Frida yelled after him, but Jade grabbed her arm.
"Frida, we need to get my mask back. El Tigre can't handle Slayer on his own, he has no idea the power that m-man has." The green haired girl stated calmly.
"I can smell the mask in that direction, we can go get it!" Eric added.
"Alright, you guys go get the mask. I'll meet up with ether you or Manny once I'm done with Chen." Marcus stated over his shoulder, before turning and glaring back at Skull Panda, who was in a fighting stance. He was rather ticked off at her, she made Eric cry, and that was truly crossing a line.
Frida and Eric grabbed Jade, then the three ran in the direction of the mask.
Marcus got into a fighting stance.
"Well, looks like it's just you and me, Panda-Bitch." The demonic boy cracked his neck with a smirk, preparing for a fight.
"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure of that…" Chen smirked at him, causing him to raise a brow in confusion.
Suddenly there was a loud metal *Shing* sound. Marcus felt a pain in his side, drops of blood flew past the corner of his vision. He gripped his side and went on one knee, looking at his side. He had been slashed and was now bleeding. He looked around and saw a figure in dark grey samurai styled armor, standing on top of a tent roof. The same armor that was used on Frida by Doctor Sirvit. She was smirking evilly at him.
"Marcus, I believe you've already met my sister." Chen reminded him with a fake sweetness in her voice.
The figure was the same girl that attacked him and Manny back in Miracle City. Apparently, she got an upgrade. Not only did the girl have Sirvit's armor, she had two razer tipped chain whips.
Marcus looked back and forth between the two girls with a frantic glare;
"Shit!"
