Pansy Parkinson

Ginny was busy searching the ruins of Hogwarts castle, trying to find Harry and get back with him (like the good girl she supposedly was). It was the day after the second wizarding war ended and the cleanup was in progress. The remaining death eaters surrendered and were subsequently arrested for their crimes. As Ginny strolled into the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side, she heard some commotion coming from an empty classroom. The door was closed, but Ginny still heard some kind of kissing. So she barged her way into the classroom and saw that Harry was kissing Pansy Parkinson on the lips. Pansy had dark-brown eyes, brunette hair that was hanging down, and she was dressed in a green-and-black striped short-sleeve t-shirt, a pair of gray shorts, and a pair of white sneakers. Harry was dressed in a green-short-sleeve t-shirt, a pair of khaki shorts, and a pair of dark-gray trainer shoes. Harry and Pansy stopped kissing and glared over to Ginny. The Weasley girl felt her jealousy flare up when she saw that Pansy had her arms wrapped around the back of Harry's neck while Harry's hands were placed on Pansy's waist.

"It's very rude of you to barge in on people having their alone time, Weasley!" growled Pansy.

"A filthy snake like you doesn't deserve my Harry, Parkinson!" Ginny growled back. Then she turned her attention to Harry and responded in mock hurt, "Harry, how could you do this to me? We're supposed to be a couple, I've been a good girl in waiting for you to come back!"

"Don't be so hypocritical, Ginny!" snapped Harry. "I know you've been going behind my back and snogging random guys while I was gone. The way you treated Dean proved that. When you broke up with Michael Corner that time, I knew you weren't really dating him because you quickly hooked up with Dean. He treated you the way a gentleman should treat a lady, but you ungratefully treated him like dragon manure. You were expecting me to plant that kiss on your lips because of me being placed with confundus charms due to the soul fragment of Voldemort's residing in my scar. I remember what your departing words for me were: I always knew you wouldn't be happy unless you were hunting Voldemort down. You weren't even all emotional when I broke up with you for your own safety, you just grinned at that. All that proved that your childhood crush on the Boy-Who-Lived remained. Same with you trying to mold yourself to my desires and interests, that's not the kind of girl I want to be with."

"That doesn't explain why you're here snogging Parkinson!" Ginny whined.

"Oh, you must not have heard, Weasley!" Pansy revealed in a delighted voice. "Harry and I have been secretly dating since the Yule Ball, but we've secretly been friends ever since the Saturday before Valentine's Day in our third year because Harry saved me from those horrible dementors. He only went with Parvati the night of the Yule Ball as part of the decoy duty plan. After the champions waltz was over and Harry and Parvati saying goodbyes to each other, he came back to me and we spent the rest of that night in the Chamber of Secrets, since that gave us the privacy that we craved for."

"But you were a member of Umbitch's Inquisitorial Squad!" growled Ginny.

"More like a reluctant member," Pansy retorted. "But I've been misdirecting the genuine members of that stupid squad to keep the rest of the DA safe. I was actually a spy for Dumbledore's Army. When that organization broke up and temporarily allowed Umbridge to be headmistress, Malfoy and his goons even punished me for deceiving them and planned to something more horrible to me. Due to that, Harry and I spent much of that time in the Chamber of Secrets and turning that into our makeshift quarters with help from a couple house elves."

"The reason Umbitch found out about Dumbledore's Army was because that bitch, Edgecombe, ratted us out!" Ginny replied in a shrill-like voice. "Hermione even told me about it, since Edgecombe had the boils spelling 'sneak' across her face. That bitch, Chang, even defended her despite her supposed best friend betraying Dumbledore's Army. That was unforgivable, even Hermione said so."

"Actually, Ginny," Harry revealed. "Granger was the real traitor there because she neglected to inform everyone who signed their names on the parchment that the parchment was jinxed to spell out 'sneak' in boils across the face of the one dared to snitch. That was a rotten trick Granger did because she disfigured Marietta. Marietta was concerned about the potential of her mother losing her job, she only 'snitched' because she was under alot of pressure. Granger didn't care if the jinx could've had potentially fatal consequences if it went wrong. Marietta didn't deserve to be disfigured like that. Granger didn't have the authority, proper license, nor the training to cast a jinx on the parchment."

"You even said that the trick was a good one!" Ginny reminded Harry.

"I wasn't thinking rationally," stated Harry. "I let my emotions get the best of me, but I've learned from that. I made up with Cho and Marietta on the train the first day of last year, and even acknowledged that Granger's trick was rotten. But Marietta ended up moving away during the Christmas holidays of that same year because of having to wear that balaclava to hide the boils and the scars being too humiliating for her. Granger was even arrested for it after the war concluded despite it being a couple years since the incident occurred, now that she no longer has Dumbledore protecting her."

"And part of that was also to make sure Harry stayed smitten with you, after Granger was given Veritaserum and confessed to all that," Pansy informed Ginny. "Proving how pathetic you really are. If you were trying, or rather hoping, to end Harry's friendship with Cho and Marietta's chances at being his friend, then you lost and your dreams have been crushed forever. Now you'd better leave while you're still ahead, Harry and I don't appreciate anybody interfering with our alone time."

"You even tried selling Harry out to Voldemort." Ginny snapped at Pansy.

"It was part of the plan Harry and I secretly thought of," stated Pansy. "We didn't want anybody finding out about our secret friendship and us dating in secret. I was only pretending to be his enemy until the darkest wizard of the century was defeated for good."

Ginny whipped her wand out and cast 'finite incantatum' at Harry, believing that he was under a confundus charm. Harry began smirking when that happened (as did Pansy), proving that he wasn't under any charm. Ginny couldn't understand why Harry wasn't coming back to her, since it was her goal to marry her hero.

"We told you that our love for each other was genuine, Weasley." stated Pansy.

Overcome with intense anger and jealousy, Ginny pocketed her wand and charged at Pansy to clobber her. Pansy picked Ginny up and flipped her over onto her back. Hitting the floor stunned Ginny, allowing Harry to put her in a full-body bind. Once Ginny's arms were at her sides and her legs snapped together, Harry called for Winky to take Ginny away and put her in a cold shower (not too cold, but cold enough to get her fiery temper under control and to cool off).

"Where were we, my sweet Pansy?" asked Harry, a smile on his face.

"I think I remember where, my handsome Harry!" Pansy replied, returning the smile.

Once they spelled the door with advanced locking charms and privacy charms, Harry placed his hands on Pansy's waist just as she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and went back to snogging. Now that Ginny was finally dealt with, Harry and Pansy were free to be with each other. Things were finally looking up.

The End!

Author's note: I'd like to give a shoutout to the user 'magitech' for suggesting that Hermione deceiving the members of Dumbledore's Army by neglecting to inform them of the parchment being jinxed to spell out SNEAK in boils across the face of the snitch and rightfully getting punished for it even if it was overdue.
