A.N. Hey folks, this is the fifteenth chapter. Here we see how everyone helps clean up Bunnyburrow and how Bonnie is recovering.
Also, I'm not a medical expert, so the talk in this chapter is what I got from the internet. So chances are the talk written in might be wrong.
By the time midday came around, everyone was working to clean up the mess that Burr and his followers have done. Bogo managed to get a few doctors to come over and have a look at the for zombified mammals. Everyone was in good health, no injuries, but Bonnie and the three other bunnies who were bastinadoed were getting further looked at. The mammals who were hiding were informed that it was safe to come out of the bunker. And the mammals who were zombified changed out of those uniforms and into their normal clothes. Everyone was happy that Burr and his group were gone and that their family and friends were back to normal. While they were working, the monks took the time to explain everything that happened.
"I still can't believe all this happened," Lincoln Hopps said as he was carrying a crate full of carrots to put away.
"Well it did, but now it's over," Raimondo said to Lincoln as they continued to work.
"I still can't believe what you four do on a regular basis," Jasmin said as she planted some seeds to replace the crops that Burr destroyed.
"Well, we've been trained in these sort of things," Kimiko said as she carried some crates.
"Still, we ought to be thanking you guys," Sheriff Billon said to them. "If it weren't for you kids, Bunnyburrow would be like a fortified farm and we'd all be his slaves forever."
"Well, we did our part," Clay said, with some of the bunny children, including cotton and the twins they saved, riding on top of him.
"But the real hero of this mission is Judy," Raimondo pointed out. At that moment Judy approached them.
"Well, I had to. And Burr messed with the wrong bunny," Judy simply said.
"Either way Carrots, you deserve the victory," Nick said as he put his arm around Judy.
"He's right. Well done Hopps," Bogo congratulated her.
"Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna check on mom," Judy said.
"I'll come with you Carrot's," Nick offered.
The two then walked away. Kimiko and Omi soon followed them, leaving the others.
"Okay, so that's more of the Wu found," Raimondo listed. "Are we missing any?"
"Well, they had the Fancy Feet with them," Clay pointed out.
"Where is it?" Raimondo wondered.
At that moment, a young rabbit was running at high speed. He ran circles around the group before disappearing in the distance.
"Found 'em," Clay bluntly said as he and Clay ran off to help the young buck.
Nick and Judy went into Judy's family home and made their way towards Stu and Bonnie's bedroom. They walked in to see Judy's parents. Stu was now wearing a white t-shirt and cargo trousers. But Bonnie was wearing a white long nightdress. Bonnie was also on the bed under the covers, except for her feet, which were suspended in the air by suspenders. Stu was crouching next to her holding her paw, which also had a drip attached to it.
Also, in the bedroom was an aardvark, who was wearing a blue dress shirt, black slacks and a lab coat. He was examining Bonnie's bruised soles, which looked a bit bigger.
"Mom? Dad?" Judy asked as the duo approached them.
"Hey Bun-Bun," Bonnie said as she saw them. Judy came up and hugged her, with Nick doing the same.
"How're you doing?" Judy asked.
"Well, my feet still hurt," Bonnie simply said.
"It's no wonder," the aardvark doctor said as he continued. "Especially after the whole zombie incident."
"What do you mean, Dr Mikin?" Nick asked the aardvark whose name was Dr Mikin.
"Most pain comes from the mind. But since you weren't in you right mind at the time, you wouldn't feel a thing. But now that you are, all that pain is coming in at once, causing an outstanding amount of it, which is why we had to elevate them and put you on pain killer drip," Dr Mikin explained. "Your feet now are really bruised, and it looks like they're beginning to swell."
"I can't even scrunch my toes," Bonnie said, as she tried to move them, only for Bonnie to wince in pain. "Ow. Now they kinda feel hot."
"Better put some ice on them," Dr Mikin advised.
"Ice you say?" a voice said.
Everyone looked to see Omi and Kimiko standing at the door.
"Omi, Kimiko, what're you guys doing here?" Nick asked.
"Sorry for the intrusion. We just came to check on what's happening," Kimiko explained.
"Anyway, I can help with the ice," Omi said as he got out the Orb of Tornami. "Orb of…" but Kimiko took the orb before Omi could finish.
"We don't want to freeze them completely!" Kimiko said as she gave the orb back to him.
"Oh yes, very wise," Omi realised.
Kimiko then left then came back in with a bucket of water. Omi then knew what to do.
"Orb of Tornami, Ice!" Omi commanded. The orb then shot a liquid which froze the water in the bucket.
Kimiko then flipped the bucket and removed the ice, leaving a bucket shaped ice sculptor on the floor. She then karate-chopped it, breaking it into pieces.
"And that's how it's done," Kimiko proudly said as she wiped her paws.
Dr Minik then grabbed the ice pieces and put them into two ice packs. He then pressed them against Bonnie's feet, which caused Bonnie to shiver.
"Cold, cold, cold," Bonnie said as she felt the ice packs. Soon she stopped and relaxed.
"So, what's gonna happen now doc?" Stu asked.
"Well, we'll give her pain killers to deal with the pain," Dr Minik explained. "After the swelling goes down, we'll bandage these feet. You'll have to stay off them for the rest of the week. After the bandages are removed, I'd recommend some reflexology to help you walk again. And to help sooth them, I'd recommend massaging them in a special cream daily."
"That's all?" Stu asked.
"Yep. Follow my instructions and they should be better in, at least, two weeks," Dr Minik explained as he removed the drip from Bonnie's paw.
"Thank you doctor," Judy thanked him as the doctor left the room, leaving the group alone.
"How're you guys feeling now?" Judy asked her parents with concern.
"Well, besides my foot pain, I'm okay," Bonnie reassured Judy.
"I'm fine as well," Stu replied.
"I'm so sorry this happened," Judy apologised to them.
"It's not your fault Judy," Stu reassured her.
"He's right," Kimiko said as she and Omi approached. "We're the ones who should apologise."
"Yes, the Shen Gong Wu are our responsibility, and we failed," Omi said as he put his head down.
Bonnie then reached out and held Kimiko's paws.
"We don't blame you for anything, it was all Jamie," Bonnie reassured them. "Plus, you helped stop him and his gang. If anything, we should be grateful."
"Yeah. If it weren't for your help, we'd still be Jamie's zombie slaves," Stu said to them.
"We appreciate your gratitude," Omi said as he bowed to them.
"Anyway, it'll still be a while till Bunnyburrow is fixed," Bonnie pointed out.
"Don't worry Bon," Stu told Bonnie as he kissed her cheek. "We'll sort it out. You just lay here and rest."
"Okay dear," Bonnie agreed with Stu as she laid back.
"Just think of all the pleasurable foot massages you'll soon receive soon," Nick advised, which made Bonnie smile.
"Those I'm looking forward to," Bonnie said.
"And, we could always use that special family remedy," Stu pointed out, which made Bonnie nervous.
"Honey, not that green slime," Bonnie complained.
"It works wonders, remember," Stu tried to convince her.
"It feels weird. I don't want that on my feet," Bonnie retorted.
"Leave her alone," Nick playfully said. "How about we just leave her to get some rest for now."
Everyone agreed. Stu and Judy gave Bonnie a kiss before the group left the room, which then Bonnie decided to sleep.
They then made their way towards outside.
"Later, I'll hold her down, you guys rub it into her feet," Nick suggested to their earlier conversation, which caused Judy to slap him on the shoulder.
A.N. And that was the fifteenth chapter. Bonnie is doing okay, and everything is being put back to normal.
The next chapter will be the final chapter.
