A/N I kind of feel like I made Wesker a bit OC But I just started writing and couldn't stop.

I hope you guys didn't feel like I abandoned this, I just was stuck in a writer's block slump.

I didn't know how to continue the story but I have a set goal of 15 chapters.

Also we finally get Wesker x Claire Action ;) although it's only a kiss, well multiple.

I hope you like the new chapter.

Living with Wesker is new, I mean I've never lived with my employer before, He's been kind to me since, well the day I met him.

He gave me cab fare, a job, and now a place to stay for the time being.

He is also helping me look for a new apartment.

I turn my head towards the blondie wearing sunglasses, indoors I might add.

"Hey, Wesker?" I pause for a minute, "That night, when you gave me money to take the cab, Why did you do it?" I ask him.

Wesker stops what he is doing to look at me.

He seems like he's debating on what to say, "I didn't want to see a news report the next day say 'young woman found dead.'"

He pauses then adds, "When I could do something about it. I was going to leave it at that, but you decided you wanted to pay me back, and here we are now."

"Why do you think something terrible would have happened to me?" I replied.

He stares at me for a while then sighs "I had a younger sister; her name was Alex. She was bright and adventurous." He tells me.

"Had?" I gave him a look of confusion, " She's dead, I was fifteen at the time, and she had just turned thirteen, we were at a carnival; She wanted to see the clowns, but I didn't.

I felt like I was too old for such childish endeavors and told her she could go by herself." He pauses suddenly, looking away from me.

"She left, but she didn't come back." he tells me, "That's why I did what I did." he looks at me again," In a way you remind me of her, you're adventurous and smart, although you're rebellious, and nurturing." He tells me, I can't help but blush.

"I'm sorry for what happened to your sister, and if she were anything similar to me, she would have caused hell on your parents."

I suddenly feel a hint of sadness hit me like a ton of bricks, "I was 17 when my parents died in a car crash. It's just my brother and me now. He lives in the backwater town of Raccoon city." I wait for his response.

"Thank you, Dear heart," Wesker says, "For what?" I ask in confusion; I haven't really done anything?

"For the most part, an excellent employee, and also someone I can trust. I don't trust easily, Willam has been a close friend since childhood, he and Annette are the only other people I trust, and I've grown to care for their offspring sherry." He explains.

"I'm glad I mean something to you. You've done things for me, you even protected me from my ex. I don't want you to think of me as this damsel in distress that needs help, but thanks. Especially with the whole Leon thing.

It's not that I couldn't stop him, well physically it was more emotional. I trusted him, and at one point, he was my friend.

I didn't think he was capable of what he did." Sighing, "Well, this conversation has indeed turned dark." I joke to lighten the mood up.

Interpreting our conversation was my phone ring; it was Rebecca calling.

Wesker then excuses himself from the room.

I decided to answer her call to see what she wants.

"CLAIRE! I need you! It's an emergency! I can't explain it now! Just head over to my apartment ASAP! Stat!" Rebecca practically screeches into my ear, trying to make me go deaf in the process.

"Calm down Becca, I'll be there soon, sheesh." I hang up, I love the girl but did she have to destroy my hearing ability? Well, nevermind, it doesn't matter anymore.

"Hey! Wesker, are you still here?" I yell downstairs, I wait a good minute before I get any sign he is still here.

"Yes, Dearheart. Anything in particular you need?" He asks, looking at me in interest.

"Not really, I'm just heading out to meet my friend Becca," I answer without thinking I give him a peck on the lips and leave to grab my bag off the table, realizing what I did I make a sprint for the door, well not really sprint perse more like a quick paced walk.

When I hit the street I let out a sigh of relief, I just kissed Wesker!

I kissed him and ran! I mean it's not that he isn't hot, but he's my boss! You're not supposed to have the hots for your boss! I mean you can but- Jeez this sounds like one of those lousy romance books Rebecca reads! I need to put this off my mind.

By the time I arrived at Rebecca's, I finally was calm.

"Becca, you said it was an emergency, What is it?" I asked her impatiently, I mean she nearly destroyed my ear drums, this has to be serious or else I'll never forgive her.

"Billy asked me to marry him, I said yes!" She yells, face full of excitement. I guess I can forgive her for nearly causing my ears to bust. "I am so happy for you! What did he do?! Tell me every little detail!" I exclaim.

We break into a whole conversation as she tells me everything.

I debate on telling Rebecca about me kissing Wesker, after some time I give in.

"Hey Becca, you know Wesker? I kind of kissed him when leaving..." I say while burying my face into a nearby pillow.

"OMG! Claire, is that really true? Isn't he twice your age? Wait doesn't matter! He is hot, and wealthy! Hot and wealthy! You sure know how to pick-em."

My face is completely tomato red at this point, I swear it is!

"I did it without thinking, you know? It felt nice, too, but I kissed him without his permission! What do I say to him when I go back tonight?" freaking out while saying it.

"If you like him, then confess. If he likes you back, good if he doesn't screw him then." She says confidently.

"I can't screw him in any context because he's my boss! I could lose my job!" I say, "Claire, have I ever been wrong?" She glares at me.

"Well no...Fine, I'll listen to your advice but If anything goes wrong I will be blaming you." I tell her glaring at the triumphant look on her face.

After nearly a minute I asked her to go dress shopping with me.

She asks why I want to go dress shopping, I've always been the tom girl type.

Wesker, he makes me want to act like a girl for once. I'm not changing myself in a significant way, but it would hurt to doll myself up once in a while.

We went to the downtown mall, after looking in almost every dress shop and I final see the one that I wanted. It's a red elegantly laced dress, floor length.

The price is more than the cost of my old apartment and If i didn't work for Wesker I wouldn't be able to afford it.I decided to grab the dress and hand the cashier my debit card.

It's ten o'clock at night by the time I get back.

I see Wesker reading a book in one of the armchairs.

When he spots me, he puts down the book on the dark brown coffee table.

"Dearheart, did you have a good time with that friend of yours?" He asks me, looking very smugly If you ask me.

"Yes, I did. Rebecca is getting married and wanted to share the news." Giving him a reply, "Hey Wesker, about this whole kissing incident this morning, I'm sorry-" My sentence was cut short by planting If I might add a good kissing on me.

I didn't waste time kissing him back, and we stayed there for a good 10 minutes. When we finally broke apart, I told him about my feelings towards him. "Dearheart, when I asked you to my company's Christmas event, what did you think I was entailing?" He says to me, Pausing then kissing me once more before bidding me goodnight.
