Guardian Of Nobodies

Chapter 6: Mars, Miracles, and Mystical Plight:

All to soon it was time to go shopping for school supplies. Ventus and Vanitas who took the aliases of Jesse and Joel Evans, were both excited and nervous at the same time. Not even from before could they ever remember being in school. They were homeschooled by their parents before they were drafted into the Leopardus Union. Logically, they had to have gone to school at least once. But they couldn't place a lot of their memories. Marluxia who went by Marlin and Zexion going by Zachariah were settling into their jobs nicely. Marlin Florian would the assistant Defense Professor while Zachariah would be running a bookstore not to far from the home he shared with Demyx/Daniel. Marlin rented one of the rooms in the couple's house. Cassie surprisingly bought two of the empty houses on the street for 'investment purposes'. Prompting Vernon to be amazed she thought of that.

The trio offered to take Cassie and her 'cousins' shopping since they had a few errands to run in London so that their aunt and uncle didn't have to out of their way while dealing with fussy infants at the same time. Cassie thought it was a good idea. Reminding her aunt and uncle if anyone tried something, all three of them plus their adult escorts were able to fight back.

Walking through Diagon Alley, Cassie spied her friends and greeted them warmly. Hermione, Daphne, and Cassie all felt the firey magic which meant Mars was nearby. Cassie due to her Lunar Magic saw more than just what most did. She saw a person's Heart. Their True Selves and their individual Auras. In her honest opinion it was amazing. Cassie knew the special magic all nine Guardian Scouts could do together was Celestial Magic. Moon and the Inner Guardians could cast powerful Rainbow Magic to restore lost Light. Cassie as Sailor Moon couldn't cast Celestial or Rainbow Magic by herself. She always needed her friends, her sisters. It was silly to think that she was the one with all the Power in their team. Her stronger magical attacks required her sister Scout's sharing their power and magic with her. She wouldn't be able to do the amazing things she could otherwise. Sensing Mars meant they were one step closer to being able to use their Rainbow Magic again.

She met a pair of girl's who had the feel of Fairy Magic. Rachel Walker and Kirsty Tate had the feeling of Fairy Land on them. Cassie smiled as she remembered the Silver Millennium when Ruby, Amber, Sunny, Fern, Sky, Inky, and Heather taught her and her Sister Scout's to first use Rainbow Magic. How she wished she still had her Fairy Amulet. But it was lost when she died. She had to make due with her own powers and not Fairy Magic. Contrary to what Magicals thought, most Fairy Land Fairies were once human. The Fairies before them were born from Magic. The Human girls often had a special connection to Fairy Land. Some like Heather and Ruby were so infatuated with their color, it opened them to the Rainbow Magic during the early days of Fairy Land. Heather and Ruby were once like Kirsty and Rachel. Though eventually they would be given the choice to become Fairies. There wasn't a Light Fairy or a Hope Fairy. Cassie could tell that Queen Titania and King Oberon were preparing the two girls chosen by the Light of Hope to become the Fairies of Light and Hope.

Cassie, Ventus, and Vanitas were sitting on the train waiting for their friends. Cassie having the sense to arrive early and bring a picnic for the train. Hermione, Daphne, and Draco entered the compartment giving greetings. Davis and Ken entering a moment later giving Cassie their own greetings.

As the train was going along, the group of eight heard, "In here Lunabelle perhaps the people in this compartment won't be so rude to us. Not my fault we have magical gifts they don't understand. My Fire Sight and your Distortion Sight would be a huge help to others." Cassie looked up and saw who people claimed was the daughter of Molly and Aurthur Weasley. The redhead said in the native Martian language, "Greeting Princess. I am Virginia Eclipse Damon-Black daughter of Bella Black and Marcus Damon. My mother shortly after I was born was put under a slave brand similar to a familiar binding. Only it was forced by Dumbledore. He forced her into an illegal marriage with a Death Eater and made her think she was a Death Eater. He also tortured the Longbottoms to insanity and planted fake memories of her performing the deed. For convience's sake call me Ginny or Gina. Preferably I would rather be called Gina. This is Luna Lovegood. Sailor Miracles of the Virtue Scouts the twelve Princesses of the Digital World." Luna gave a curtsy and a smile. "I guard the Gate of the Distortion World. A few of my attendants are integrated around the various years. Though I sadly can not say which ones." Cassie said, "Right now not important."

As the now group of eight were enjoying their picnic Ventus asked, "Hey, do you hear a car?" Gina said, "I don't believe this. I knew Ron was an idiot, but this is a new one." Cassie said, "He's going to get expelled one of these days." Gina replied, "Professor Dumbledore said he was going to marry you one day. Whether you like it or not." Cassie said, "He'll fall before too long. Ron will get what's coming to him Gina. Just wait and see."

Cassie watched as Gina, Ven, Vani, Luna, Davis and Ken got sorted. Ven, Ken, Davis, and Gina joining Cassie in Hufflepuff breaking the tradition of Weasley's in Gryffindor to some people's way of thinking. Luna joined Hermione in Ravenclaw while Vani joined Slytherin. Since they were claiming that Ventus and Vantas were a part of the Evans/Halliwell family. Grams had no problem the twins claiming the Evans name. Since they did happen to have Evans blood in their line. Cassie and Gina got a hilarious sight of Ron getting berated as she showed her 'cousin' and friends to the Common Room. While on the way Cassie commented in Lunarian, "We should find a place we can relax and study together or at the very least create portals to the Castle. Like a secret hideout or something. Maybe we could talk the Twins into joining in. Adding to our 'club' in and out of school." Professor Sprout overheard the word club and asked, "What club Miss Potter?"

Cassie smiled, "A volunteer club. During the school year with us being in boarding school we can't do much. But during school breaks like we did last summer, we went travelling and helped out where we could. Fixing ruined community gardens, cleaning up parks and beaches, as well as collecting toys, clothes, and books donating them to homeless shelter's or orphanages. We also participated in bake sales, soup kitchens, and the like. There are possibilities there are first generation magicals who are homeless and can't afford to attend school. So I suggested looking and opening a new program between myself, Draco, and Daphne to sponsor those children. Hermione is helping by keeping things organized. Luna and Gina, when we get an answer back will help them see if they have any magical relations who could help them as they get older or help find employment." Professor Sprout said in joy, "What a thoughtful idea Miss Potter. There are chances that sort of thing could happen. It shows your willing to help. This would be a wonderful foundation! Most helpful ones like the Battered Witches Society started as a therapy group for witches who were raped. It later expanded to include Wizards eventually growing to have several branches around the world. It was truely a wonderful sight to see a small club grow to a world wide foundation. I'm sure we can set aside a classroom for your volunteer club." Ven said, "Thank you so much Professor."

The next morning, Gina, Daphne, Cassie, Luna, Davis, Ken, Vani, Ven, and Hermione walked into the Great Hall Gina and Cassie were roommates as there was an uneven number of first years. Cassie offered to share her room. Cassie and Gina were up later than normal as they were catching up with each other. Gina wasn't sure how to even begin to handle the possibility of revealing Molly's crimes. Cassie suggested doing a heritage test to see if she could 'find out' where Flame Sight came from. Gina chuckled at the possibility. Though she found a strange diary in her things. The diary wrote back so they were quick to use a spell to destroy it. The two girls saw a black mist come out of the diary along with a shard of a blackened Heart. Cassie shuddered at the thought of that. Someone was pulling a Diomedes or pulling a Xehanort in modern terms.

She made a mental note to have her Curse Scar checked out during Winter Break. While making plans to have Shadow make a clear list of supplies they'll need for the summer. Especially if they were aiming to rescue Axel and Roxas. She also had to start planning the revolution of Magical England. During Winter Break after getting her scar checked out, she had to make some waves about Sirius Black's lack of a trial. Gina was a big help for ironing out her plans. As well as research. She was no Mercurian or Hermione, but she was good a 'persuading' teachers to let her check out books from the Restricted Section. Professor Odynson aka Loki often signed the forms since he was all for them tearing apart Dumbledore, Xehanort, and Luxu's plans. He even lent them books from his private collection.

Over time Cassie and her 'inner circle' expanded to include the Weasley Twins, Lee Jordan, Cedric Diggory, Blaize Zabini whom recognized Cassie for whom she truely was, Tracy Davis, Padma Patil, and Parvati Patil. It seemed she was gathering followers to the shock of the teachers. But it turned out at least to most, that since Cassie grew up with no knowledge of Magical Politics or customs she was surrounding herself with those who had to catch up with her peers. To Professor Sprout it seemed her little Volunteer Club was getting bigger. During a Staff meeting Professor SProut brought up the Club which was very helpful in the eyes of the teachers. Since it was possible to overlook potential students because they couldn't afford tuition or the supplies. A Club dedicated to finding, sponsoring, and returning magical children to their world was a big idea. It made Flitwick and McGonnagall smile at how much like Lily Cassie was. Her brilliant mind and caring attitude was all Lily while her take charge demeanor and business mind came from James. She was the perfect blend of her parents both in terms of looks and personality. Cassie even suggested having a proper memorial for those who died during the first war. So in a seperate classroom, the students set up an altar with pictures of their lost loved ones who passed in the war along with candles, decorative tablecloths, and small offerings of food or drinks. Cassie said, "While I was studying in the Mundane world I learned of a holiday the mexican culture celebrate. It's called Día de los Muertos or The Day of the Dead. It's a celebration to honor all of our loved ones who are no longer with us anymore. It's like we're throwing a party. And everyone we love is invited!"

Cassie: Dia de los Muertos is my favorite day

We honor all our loved ones who have passed away

We go to the graveyard, build altars in their name

Share our memories of them by the candle flame

(We share our memories of them by the candle flame!)

Dia de los Muertos, the one day of the year

We bake up treats so tasty to fill us with good cheer

Sugar skulls and sweet bread are made with love and care

Then brought down to the altar for everyone to share

(They're brought down to the altar for everyone to share!)

This is the day we all await, this is the day we celebrate

(The festival of love, the festival of love)

This is the day we all await, this is the day we celebrate

(The festival of love, the festival of love)

Dia de los Muertos means more to me this year

Since Mami and Papi are no longer here

But I'm not feeling sad now, I'm feeling joy inside

Because this festival keeps their memory alive

This is the day we all await, this is the day we celebrate

(The festival of love, the festival of love)

This is the day we all await, this is the day we celebrate

(The festival of love, the festival of love)

It's time to celebrate!

(The festival of love, the festival of love)

(The festival of love)

Even though they didn't have any students of hispanic origins that they knew of, it was certainly an idea to incoroprate the custom into what they normally did. Especially for those who lost loved ones.

Halloween came and Cassie and her group went to Sir Nicholas' Death Day Party. Cassie even came out on top to invite Jack Skellington and his wife Sally to the celebration. Even telling off the Dullahan's who crashed the party. While keeping Peeves from teasing Myrtle. Hermione arranged the food for the living which was pizza, burgers, and other junk type foods. Loki even attended the celebration for the ghost out of respect for Hela. As they were walking to the Great Hall for the students dressed as skeletons to dance and dessert they saw a message written in blood. The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the Heir beware! Loki was furious. He told the group the Chamber was where he did his research and where he had hid Jörmungandr from those who would harm him. Cassie said, "Okay team huddle up. We need to figure this new mystery out and fast. If we let this get out of hand, we could lose the only place we have to keep a close eye on Dumbles." A few minutes later after giving the petriied Mrs. Norris an elixir to wake her, and started petting the poor cat comforting her. Loki said, "We discovered this on the way back from Sir Nicholas' party. Any of the ghosts could confirm our attendance. We were on our way to the Great Hall when this was discovered by Mister Malfoy."

After the crowd broke up, Cassie's group met in Loki's office. Davis said, "I don't like this. It reeks of a poorly done set up. Ken what are your thoughts on the matter?" Ken after a moment of silence said, "In all honesty I'm not sure. Yes it does reek of a set up. But a set up for what? That's what we don't know." Daphne said, "If anything, I would wager it was either Xehanort or Dumbledore hoping Jor would lose his Heart to the Darkness. With how strong he is, his Nobody would be pretty damned powerful." Cassie paled, "Either way, it could also be more Heartless for them to command. We really need to figure out what happened to the World That Never Was and go from there." Loki listened to what the base World of his dearest daughter became and he said, "It sounds to me the Hope Tree, which is a tree made of crystal that connects the World's Heart like Yggdrasil connects the Realms, was destroyed. Destroy the tree, a World can become hollow and moldable. Maleficent may have Hope Tree seeds. Though convincing her will be a challenge. This World's Hope Tree is located in Elysian which is protected by powerful Ancient Magic. So once restored by a new Hope Tree, the World will be restored to glory along with it's people. I suppose this would be the project for the Summer. Preparing supplies and rebuilding the World That Never Was. I will retrieve the book and give it to you during the Winter Break. I will also look into what you told me."

Cassie was wandering the cooridors when she saw something that steamed her something fierce. A group of older students trying to force themselves on first year girls. She sent an orb to Daphne and Loki and immediately stepped in. Getting the first years away from the older students. Professor Snape had seen what transpired and corrobated her claims. The older students were given detention with Snape and Loki for the rest of the year, sixty points taken from Gryffindor, and loss of all privelages for the remainder of the school year. At first the Lions were pissed, but Cassie openly pointed out they tried to force themselves onto children who had no idea what they were trying to do and loudly proclaiming they didn't see women as people just conquests. Which made all but a few Lions pissed at the offenders. The boys were regulated to nothing more than dogs in the dorm. It did one thing however, it slapped some sense into Percy. Especially when cassie pointed out it could have easily been Ginny instead of one of those girls. The Eldest Weasley in school looked like he wanted to be sick to his stomach.

Before too long it was time to go home for the Winter Break. Cassie invited Ginny in the 'Spirit of meeting another natural Fire Mage' to a Winter fair. Molly at first was reluctant, but Arthur convinced her reminding his wife Ginny had very few friends because of her ability. The fact she met one with the same power was special. They could cut down the number of accidents if said friend helped her learn to control her gift.
