"Automated?" Summer blinked in confusion before it hit her. "Awe crap..." she whispered. Realizing that they had an actual reason to arrest her.

'Atlas must have been experimenting on the early stages of A.I. like when the Quarians first built the Geth. The Crucible wave must have ended that and caused some panic in Atlas. But do they know that? About the Galaxy and the Crucible? Ironwood isn't that stupid, is he?' Nonetheless, Summer had to defuse this before it gets blown out of proportion.

"You know," Summer said from her spot. "That if you all turn away right now, we won't have an international incident on our hands." She was hoping that threat would snap them to reason. As a Citadel Spector, she knew first hand what an indecent like this could do. With no such authority here, saying this was going to be bad is an understatement. A white pail man that reminded her a bit of monk answered.

"Then come with us to avoid a confrontation," he replied. Summer saw the big shuriken weapon he had in one hand while the other glowed gold, his Semblance maybe? She was observing her antagonists. Summer counted four Huntsman level opponents with support from at least three Alliance Marine size squads, plus Huntsman that's 31. Thou if Summer was a betting woman and she did once in a while, they would have a few more out of sight on standby. How many more depended on how serious they thought of her as a threat. At best, three more squads. Worse, a lot more.

She faced worse odds. "Go back to your General. You guys don't know who you're messing with, and I don't want to send home soldiers in body bags today."

Her remarked did the effect of making shorty angry. "It's you who will be in a body bag! Soldier fire!"

"Harriet!" Clover called out, but it was too late. Summer moved out the way of the shots and engaged her tactical cloak. Disappearing from the fight while all of the soldiers and the big woman whose hammer shifted into a missile launcher fired at the brush.

For a full ten seconds, the soldiers kept firing into the trees and brushes before stopping. What was a clearing was now a mess of bullet-riddled trees, bushes, and upturned ground. They had basically made a huge mess of the area and truing it into a war zone. But no Summer Rose, the dirt kicked up a bit of dust, making an improvised smoke screen. The Huntress was nowhere to be found. Clover was not happy.

"Damn it, Bree! We're supposed to take her in quietly," Said Clover. They were now coming to the realization that they were in deep trouble. "Now we have to find her before she calls for backup."

The speedster chuffs at the Ace Ops gave her leader. "She wasn't going to come quietly anyway, Clover." Harriet dismissed her leader before looking at the soldiers.

Clover gritted his teeth. Bree was Ace Ops' newest member and a hotshot that he's still ringing in. "Spread out and find her! She couldn't have gone far! Move!" he ordered the man before turning back to Harriet, "we'll talk more about your actions later, Bree." The Operative gritted her teeth in anger but gave no response.

Vine shook his head. "If we survive, that is..." he whispers to himself.

As more soldiers came to join in the search, nearby behind a relatively thick tree, Summer's tactical cloak wears off. She chose a position that darkened herself and her surrounding but gave her the best view of her opponents. She sits back and watches as more came out of the tree line as she suspected, numbering in four more squads totaling around 67 to 70 soldiers trained to fight monsters. Not bad odds if they're going to go against a single battle-harden N7 inflator.

"So they think they can take me down with such a force?" Said Summer with a snort. "Well then, guess I'll have to show them what war is all about."

An idea popped in her head when Jacob suggested a movie for Normandy's movie night, a horror/action classic that fit just for this environment. A devilish smile stretched her lips. She was going to have so much fun with this and pulled out her Omni-tool and readied its Omni-gel dispenser.

"Time to show these posers who's the predator and who's the prey."

Peter Port looked at the security-related feed linked to the Emerald Forest with worry. He tasked himself with watching over his fellow professor in clearing out some of the forest's denser Grimm spots. Summer had done a magnificent job in ridding them, as expected of the leader of team STRQ, one of the strongest teams to graduate from Beacon.

Now he was about to watch Summer get attacked by the Atlas Military. They were James's forces as he recognizes some of their faces from hanging around the Academy. Now, they just attacked his fellow Beacon professor on Vale territory.

The situation did not look good.

Dialing up his scroll, he knew who to call.

"You need something, Peter? I'm in the middle of writing several student reports that are due later." Glynda answered over the scroll.

"Those will have to wait, Glynda, for we have a severe problem brewing in the Emerald Forest. Several Atlas military squads are about to engage Summer in deadly combat."

"WHAT?!" Glynda screamed before opening up the security feeds. "Where at Port?"

"Section 8 camera 17."

Beacon's Deputy Director brought up the live camera feed and what she saw made her blood boil. They were the soldiers James brought with him. His damn Ace Operatives. Those militarized Huntsman loyal only to Atlas and their General. And James's is deploying them against her fellow professor!

Not while she's around.

"Port! Get Oobleck and Peach and support Rose in the forest. She's

outnumbered against several professional level Huntsmen and is going to need backup," Glynda instructed as she grabbed her riding crop.

"Haha! This fight will be interesting! What of you, Glynda?" Port laughed.

"Ironwood does not have the authority to issue punishments within this Academy nor issue assaults in Vale's territory. The situation is close to a diplomatic incident. I will gather Ozpin and Qrow. I know he's still in Vale. Together, we'll confront the General on this." Replied Goodwitch.

Atlas soldiers parted the foliage and looked for any trail the fugitive went.

One such soldier was almost jumping at every sound with his weapon pointing all around him.

"Hey, Black, knock that off!" A soldier near him said. "Your flagging everyone."

"Sorry, Sergeant. Just nerves are all. I never went up against a Huntress, is all," Black answered.

"Keep your rifle steady and keep your emotions in check. Don't want the Grimm to sniff us out." Advised the Sergeant.

"Ahhhgg!" A scream echoed throughout the woods, making the soldiers raise their rifles in a frantic motion. Looking in all directions. Gunfire followed quickly after as the radio sounded off with cries for help.

"Man down!"

"There she is!"

"Fire!"

"Medic!"

"Where'd she go?!"

"Wait, don't go-*static*AHH!"

"Calm down and report your location!" Commander Ebi ordered.

"We're in sector eight south-humph!" The line went silent.

"That was Operative Zeki!" A soldier pointed out the last voice on the radio. The soldiers looked at each other in stunned silence. The Sergeant grimaced as he that's where they were, meaning they were the closest squad to the conflict. So he racks the bolt back of his gun to chamber a new round.

"Lock and load your weapons men, sounds like we're about to enter a world of shit." Said the Sergeant.

The squad rushed through the forest to where the gunshots and cries for help sounded off. What they found was disturbing.

Atlas soldiers littered the ground. Many moaning in pain or just out of it. A few showed visible signs of gunshot wounds, shoulders, arms, and legs. But all that paled to what happen to Operative Zeki. He hung upside down by his left leg, bruising visible over his white face, a gunshot in his left arm while the other hung limp on a dislocated shoulder.

"Sir!" One of the soldiers rushed to get him down.

"No..." The Operative tried to warn but fell too late.

"Ahh!" The Atlas soldier shook from the currents of electricity shooting up around him. For another three seconds, the trooper suffered before collapsing.

"...trap," Vine said from his spot.

A gunshot shot off from the trees, hitting the Sargeant and encasing him in ice.

"Sarg is down!" A soldier shouted off.

Several more shots went off and nailed a few more soldiers.

Summer was making them suffer from either ice, lightning, or fir with shoulder and leg shots. After the sixth shot, she hopped down from her spot in the tree and engaged her tactical cloak.

"This is too easy..." Summer mussed as she went to another tree just in time for another Atlas squad to walk to her kill zone. Another minute later, the third squad of soldiers in white fell. "What a bunch of sorry excuses for soldiers. Atlas must be low-bawling on their training regime. That or they spend more time on shining their armor and Drill ceremonies than in the field."

That first squad Summer went a little too hard on, but it took a quick sec to get rid of that Huntsman. Indeed he was skilled and mobile but lacked firepower. Two shots from her Carnifex was all it took to bring him down. One to the head to break his aura and the second left arm to prevent him from using his Semblance. Then she strung him up like bait on a fishing wire, throw a few electronic trip mines, and waited up in a tree hunting like a Predator.

"Now, the only things I'm missing are a metal mask, a few skulls dangling off my belt, and a nuke strap to my wrist," Summer mussed as she waited for the next squad.

I flash flickered to Summer's corner. She looked and saw that hot-headed speedster going through the brush. The small interaction Summer got with this chick was like how Jack was when they first met. Hardheaded, reckless, and hot-tempered. If this Mohawk girl had a tenth of Jack's temper, then this would be quick.

Harrist looked around the decimated Atlas squads with frustration. Then looked at Vine in disappointment. Summer Rose was taking them down like they were children. "Come out cowered!" Harrist shouted into the forest. "You think your better than the might of Atlas? But your not! Your nothing more than a pretender thinking your above everyone!"

"You talk too much."

Harrist swerves around to see Summer standing just two feet from her and just standing there looking her straight in the eyes. The Operative stared back and could not look away from the intensity of those silver eyes. A wave of feeling hit her like a crashing ship. Million old evolution instincts told her to run, for the monster in front of her was a bringer of war and death. Then Bee's training kicked in, making her blink. Her first mistake.

Harrist blinked, and Summer disappeared.

She looked around frantically, not even realizing she was panting and sweating a storm.

"Bee!" The short woman swerved around to see her leader Clover and Elm run towards her with two squads backing them up. The Ace Ops regrouped with the Atlas squads forming a perimeter around them. "There you are. Don't go off by yourself." Clover looked took in his surroundings. "Someone cut down Vine and call the bullheads back to receive these men for medical attention. We're leaving."

"What?!" Harrist shouted. "We can't leave now. The target is still out there!"

"We're done, Bee," Clover stated. "This mission was meant to be a firefight. Due to your rash actions, the target is now made aware of our presence and will try to contact Beacon Academy."

The Clover talked, the more frustrated Harrist became.

"Hey, you guy hears that?" One of the soldiers said.

(AN Optional: Play. Berserk OST - Ash Crow)

Everyone stopped and listened.

It sounded crows at first, then words that no one could understand with a violin, horns, and piano playing along.

"Music?" One soldier suggested.

"Where's that coming from?"

For nearly a minute of the strange music playing and unnerving the soldiers, no one answered or could give one before a white comet crashed into the middle of their formation. A wave of biotic energy slammed, sending the three Ace Operives flying and sweeping the Atlas soldiers off their feet. Clover recovered quickly, followed by Harrist and Elm. They turn to see their target Summer Rose with her claymore out and ready for them.

"Prepare for the fight scene." Summer smiled as she tapped the 'next' on the playlist.

(AN Optional: Play. Berserk 2016 - Hai Yo)

'Damn you, Kisumi, for getting me hooked on your 20th-century animations.' Summer thought before she faces three charging soldiers with swords raised to strike her. With a single swipe of Iron Thorn, they flew back with a wave of dark matter and white petals. Then she went in with a biotic charge to a soldier on the other side of the clearing and sending him into the dirt. Next, Summer swung her claymore at another solder and cleaving his rifle in two. The Atlas soldier stared at his destroyed gun for a second before looking up just in time for a straight punch to his face.

Summer turns to the next group of soldiers charging at her just as the first one swung his sword. She tapped it aside and smashing her hilt into his face. She followed up by bashing the next with her blade's flat side into the next, then stepping past the third with a side step and an underarm slash with Iron Thorn coated in a biotic Flare. The blast sent the unfortunate soldier away into the tree legs first, resulting in several bones breaking and the soldier crying out before passing out due to pain feedback. Lastly, Summer just used a Pull back on the third she sidestepped and set him away. Another two soldiers had their swords drawn with the intent of slashing at her. Summer had enough of them and sent an Overload blast that shocked both of them and rendered them unconscious. With the Atlas grunts finished, she finally stared down at her final three opponents.

The speedster and female giant looked at her with barely contained rage while their leader stayed calm.

(Song ends)

'You'll pay for that!" Elm said as she readied her hammer while Harrist did the same with her knuckles. Clover had his hands on Kingfisher, but his mind was elsewhere.

'This isn't right. Summer's profile stated her Semblance was a form of short-range teleportation and mentioned nothing of those weird gravity powers. He was briefed and shown recordings of the Maidens powers in action, and they looked nothing alike. We came utterly unprepared.' Clover deduced.

Summer stood calm and waited for them to make the first move.

"HA ha! What a display of defiance, Summer!" Said a boasted voice. Four sets of eyes turned to the sight of two men entering the area. Professors Port and Oobleck had now joined the fight and took to Summer's side. Now, this fight had gotten interesting.

"What took ya?" Summer said nonchalantly.

"Apologies, Summer. We had been delayed by a few Atlas squads preventing us from being here sooner," Bart answered before taking a long swig from his coffee mug.

"Indeed..." Peter nodded along as he hefted his blunderbuss ax on his shoulder. "Our fellow Professor Peach is looking after them and taking them back to the Bullheads. Getting them to receive medical treatment and questioning at Beacon."

Summer huffed at the news. "Interrogating the grunts would be a waste of time. All one needs to do is look at the forest's security feeds to find what they are after."

"What?!" Elm shouted.

The Beacon professors either looked amused or shook their heads. Summer just pointed up at a tree that Elm stood by. The tall woman looked up and saw the camera pointed directly at her.

"This forest is where we do Beacon's invitation and monitor our students closely, so they don't meet an unfortunate end," Oobleck explained. "All the Feeds are currently being recorded and sent back to Beacon where the Vale Council will decide this outcome."

"That means..." Harrist now realized the impact they just committed.

Summer planed her sword into the ground and rested her hands on top of the hilt. "Means either surrender yourselves now or risk further action and starting Remnants second great war."

The implications of what she said hit the three like a truck. Clover's mind ran full speed in thinking of a way out, but none showed. So he did the smartest thing he could do and dropped the fishing pole.

"Clover?" Elm said.

"It's over. Stand down, Ace Ops. We're finished." Clover ordered.

"A wise move on your part," Professor Oobleck said as he produced three sets of wrist binders from his back pouch.

Ozpin was rarely upset nowadays in his long life. But he was hearing how one of his fellow Headmasters had recently sent in a military unit into the Emerald Forest and attacked one of his Professors.

The Headmaster of Beacon was not in a forgiving mood.

Glynda had called in Qrow and informed him of the Summer situation and requested his assistance in confronting Ironwood. The Drunker sobered up real quick and flew in within minutes.

Now the three of them marched through the Atlas Flagship towards Ironwood's office. When the doors to the office parted and the Ozpin stared down the General, one could swear the temperature dropped. "Ozpin you-"

"Get your fleet out of my city."

The voice that spoke wasn't Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon, nor was it the Huntsman Ozpin. No, what Ironwood heard was Vale's last king with his overwhelming Aura and Magic bearing down on him.

"Oz-"

"You bring an army to my doorstep ready to fight, a fleet armed for invasion, and corrupted the very Huntsman sworn to defend the world being bread as soldiers for war." The man who lived a thousand lifetimes walked comely to the General. "If this is your way of bringing matters to my attention General, you have my attention. Now that you've shown your colors in attacking our fellow Huntsmen, your intentions in Vale are clear."

"Tha-" Ironwood tried to get a word but was cut off again when Ozpin's came up close to the General's face.

"One hour."

Ironwood blink. "What?"

"If your fleet is not seen leaving Vales boarders in one hour, Vale's defenders and Huntsmen will prepare to defend their home and Kingdome. Goodbye, General." Ozpin removed his cane and walked away.

"Ozpin! You don't have the authority to do that. That is grounds for war!"

Ozpin stopped and turned to look him in the eye. "One that's about to start if you don't get moving. I'd also recommend you don't keep them waiting."

"Who?" Questioned the General.

"The Kingdome's councils."

Ironwood's desk lit up as multiple calling signs popped up. All from the varies Council members from Vale and Atlas.

"One hour James," Ozpin said before he and his two followers behind me.

"OZPIN!" James shouted at them as the doors closed behind them.

Now we're definitely going off script with RWBY cannon on this. Oh boy some political shit storms with a heavy chance of crap is about to rain down on Ironwood this day. Might even 'Effect' the Vytal festival plans. As for the Berserk music. I've seen several stories where the protagonist plays music during a fight and wanted Summer to try it out for a shot bit. Probably wasn't that great to begin with but went through it anyway.

Anyway Major developments in the future then RWBY cannon. Let's see how things go.
