This kiss seemed to last forever. Oh how wonderful this man always tasted, and his flavor. It was in some way becoming somehow even more profoundly dominant than ever before. So richly saturated with need and backed by a heavy dose of want… Want. No. Liara was not going to do this, much less here. Kissing was one thing, true enough. However what Bruce always appeared to be seeking, was something she refused to give in to.

She tried a hand at backing away, yet Banner was not having any of it. Liara tried once again. This time she paired her action with a slight beg by way of a small disgruntled moan. The sound only led to an opposite reaction in her male companion. Banner pulled his strong arms completely around her. Resting a right hand on the small of her back, pressing her ever so softly into his heavily stimulated person.

Another breathy moan, this time for the hurt his arousal pressing into her inner thigh provoked. If Bruce was not going to let her go, maybe she could talk her way out of this. She slightly began lowering her face, when it was found and caressed by a left hand. "You really got here fast as hell."

"I jumped?" His eyes were love drunk, yet truthful.

A lower of a blue mane in an amused chuckle, "you jumped. Okay."

The woman within his arms wanted loose. Currently however, Bruce found himself unable to give her just that, her freedom. "I somehow became over…whelmed…" Bright yellow eyes cautiously stared, provoking his words to become lost somewhere in the thought process.

There was a quick tighten of the brow as Liara cautiously studied the overly tender chocolate orbs staring at her. "I know."

A finger kept her face in view, "you do?"

"You remember that we are connected, unfortunately." A roll of neon yellow eyes as a cocky smirk pulled her right cheek tight. "Don't look at me like that."

Liara pursed her lips right as Banner raised his brows, waiting on her incoming play of words. "I didn't mean it like that, anyhow. Let's just say, I saw you. You taking in all that stank I produce…"

"While thinking of me." Bruce cut the woman within his arms off.

A raise of heart shaped lips. "Boy you wish! No."

Banner shifted his weight, noting Liara still adamant on leaving his embrace. Something he still was refusing to relinquish. "However, I was…"

"Thinking about me, I know right. Something you always do. All those dreams you have with you doing unspeakable things to my poor little defenseless body. Which caused you to be running all down here, to try and get me to rub it out. That I won't do, but I will watch as you handle it yourself." A cocky raise of her left brow as Liara was always quick to make light of every situation.

A finger found itself under the hem of Liara's shirt, brushing softly along her tender skin. Knowing only a simple touch would be needed in providing a reaction in her true feelings provoked by his closeness. A smirk came to Banner's face as the woman within his arms swiftly and tightly closed her eyes, while her skin completely covered in chills. "When will you stop having this reaction to my touch?"

Her fists were tightly balled. Yet another lost battle to the man which owned her entirety. A jagged breath, allowing herself a second more of stolen bliss before going against it entirely. A tsk before all her attitude was given in response to his question. "I swear you think you're about the finest thing ever. But that would be around, hmm, yep the time when you kiss your girl Betty."

His entire hand now burned her skin wonderfully at the small of her back. Liara flinched as Banner leaned ever so closely to her right and slowly began whispering into her ear, "Liara." His voice already had her beyond the breaking point. She could feel the tears forming. She begged he would say something, anything she could use to her advantage. "So I should make you remember just how much you wanted it the other day."

"Ohhhh, you mean when James threw me in a wall. Yeah, that was sooo unbelievably fuuuuucking sexy. I swear I was sooo this here close to riding his face." Liara gave a husky chuckle as she leaned her temple into his. Relieved she indeed could turn this situation in her favor. For the need to put her feelings in check was too great at this moment.

"He did what?!" Banner, the one now wanting to back away from the body pressed against his.

Every move the man made, Liara was sure to match it. She was now the one in complete control. Where she loved being. Toying with her prey. All her emotions were replaced with her Wolf primal instinct. If Bruce was not going to allow her to leave, nor was she when the tables were turned. Playing dirty with the opposite sex was one thing she was instinctually good at.

Her voice was of her own, however Liara knew her current actions were more in line with her dark half. Yet in this particular moment, the need for Her was great. Liara knew she all too well needed Guerra. Well, her backbone at least. This would be the only thing assisting her, allowing the flirting with Banner to stay just as thus. "Daww, you getting all pissy cause he laid hands all up on this, don't worry though baby. I might have made his body create that crevasse first, you know how I am after all sweetie. Cause I mean, I loved getting choked and all that good stuff. Hell you know that, sweetheart more than anyone else, now don't you. God, such a turn on. Wait, or is that what makes you mad? Me laying hands on all that thick sexy man? All that hair, I mean gggod."

"Liara please leave well enough alone." Bruce wanted to cease this subject before any of his jealousy became apparent.

"I haven't done anything with him, boo. Well, that I can recall." Yellow orbs looked above as she thought. When they returned their piercing glare, note was taken the slight glimmer of cockiness from the scientist. "Same could be said about you, now can't it."

"This is beyond simplicity in managing." Liara pushed her lips out hard to the right with his response.

"You thought." As soon as the words left his lips, Liara knew he was going to try and put more moves on her. If anything, yes Bruce was unorthodox. But overly predictable in all his sexual tendencies. "Which brings me back to my questions, which you really seem to be now overly ready to answer. Cause this repeatedly throwing shit up in my face is getting on my last fucking nerves. But that is of course something that is going to have to wait cause we have company on the way down here as we speak. And god forbid anyone catch you all up on this."

"How close?" The innocent furrow of his brow, always had its charm on the She Wolf.

"Two lev…" Liara was surprised when she was jerked hard into him. A hand forcing her head forward, with a quick hard peck on the lips.

When Banner finally released her, a snarl filled her lips hearing the breathing before the person came into view.

"You know, the two of you should really stop playing games, and just get back together. No wait, actually try and be a couple first. Cause you two were always scared of doing anything that could actually be remotely considered normal." The newcomer voiced. Giving the dangerously close, still facing pair, the onceover.

"Normalcy is highly overrated Scary." Yellow eyes rolled while arching her head to the right. Taking in the form of her friend Alana, standing just behind Banner in the entryway. While she seemed overly content on goggling at the two within the large weapons room.

Banner cleared his throat in hearing the light airy voice behind him. "Alana. I was just here…"

As the scientist turned to face the small framed woman, a warm smile found her lips. "Hello Bruce. You look extremely well, and you really shouldn't be harboring a feeling of any guilt in needing to have to justify wanting to be around Liara. Since the two of you…"

Liara pressed and pulled her bottom lip down between her thumb and pointer finger, listening to the conversation laid before her. Seemingly bored to death with the whole presence of Alana being here. Making an apparent bad situation even worse. "Ain't shit. Sorry, but that ship sailed boo. God! Why does everyone always ignore me, like my voice ain't high pitched enough, ghetto enough or is it that I need to be just that more ratchet? Or could it be all I need to do is be all uppity and proper like you, to be listened to?"

"Well, if you wouldn't talk out of your ass every time you opened your mouth." The smirk engraved the petite woman's face beautifully, as she pushed past the only male in the room to stand beside her best friend. "So, that is the one huh."

"It's horrible and I refuse to use it." Light olive colored arms crossed and tucked themselves into each other before turning to face the same point of interest, currently entertaining the Ancient.

Bruce was in slight confusion in the way the women always insulted each other in one breath however seemed loving in the next. "Um… ladies. I think I should be getting back to the group. They are most likely going through plans of attack."

"Sorry to say baby, they are actually trying to get the plague on all life to shut the fuck up." Yellow eyes laughed as a left brow posted high on her face. The scientist only grimaced in her statement.

"Bruce. Sorry to say, Liara is right. The only way I know, is because Phe keeps complaining mentally to me." Orange and red flamed eyes turned around to face the overly timid man.

"Never…" His soft brown eyes currently full of need, took a quick sneak of the She Wolf, "theless."

The man's actions were carefully inspected by the Celestial. She made her way, slipping an arm around his. Ushering the uncomfortable scientist completely from the room. When the two were a few steps away from the threshold, a slender finger was slowly raised to overly plump, red stained lips. The words expressed were only heard by one. "She cares, more than you think. She's just terrified. And before you say 'by or of what' simply put, you. And while she's like this, you'll never get in."

The slight tighten in Bruce's eyes, only gave a small indication of his conflicting emotions. Before he could get a word across to the petite caramel colored female at his side, the other woman left behind, stuck her head from the doorway behind them.

"Hey, if you two hurry, you can get ready just like the others. They are actually trying to go over the plans, even though your friend acts like she's the center of attention. I would love to go up there and let her know about herself, but I have this life changing decision I just have to make. You know how that is." Liara rolled her eyes, before disappearing once again behind the entrance.

Alana nodded, easily pulling the shy scientist with her. The walk was silent, as she knew he was going over things he wished would have happened ever since Liara came back. It was all too obvious. Just the way she herself caught Banner gazing longingly at the She Wolf when the woman was not looking, beyond proof enough in her book. There was one question eating at her though, the more it consumed her, the greater the need to get it off her chest and into the atmosphere. Deltora cleared her throat, before shyly asking her inquiry mentally. "Bruce, may I ask you something? I mean, if you do not wish to speak on any of it, I completely understand."

There was a slow hesitant nod, before his voice vibrated within her mind. "Sure, Alana."

"Okay, I know you are still into Liara, I mean it's written completely in everything you do. Have you even tried telling her anything that you're feeling? I mean, sorry if that's too personal for you." There was a slight hesitance before Alana delivered her last sentence. Knowing she could so easily be overstepping her bounds.

Banner took only one slow hesitant step before completely stopping. Scratched at the back of his short heavily salt and peppered contrasting hair, while lowering his head to take in the carpeted floor below them. The furrowed wrinkle of his brow, every indication the man was going to answer with nothing short of a gloomy response. "Alana, if I am free to even begin answering this question to myself first and foremost. I would more than likely have to go with the fact, I damaged Liara's feelings more than ever anticipated. There is a clear understanding, more so now, than before. I was harsh and have to admit I went overboard. However she, she always has this way of pushing every button a person has."

"Bruce," the petite woman who stood at his side, only gave a reassuring hand to his shoulder. "Was it really as bad as you claim?"

A shake of his head, as he offered pieces of his random thoughts. "It was even more so. All she wanted… all Liara ever wanted was to… for she and I… for us to be a couple. I can honestly say now looking back, I never was going to give this to her…. I somehow lost it, blamed everything on her, and her abilities on being able to control us, myself and…"

"Hulk." Deltora whispered, truly invested in the conversation. This was all new to her, and all clues to how her friend was now giving this man the coldshoulder. "What happened, really? What did she say to make you snap and hurt her?"

"Nothing. She never said anything." Banner narrowed his eyes as the memory came flooding back. "May I explain to you how events transpired? I fully understand you are her best friend, and with this given fact, I greatly run the risk of you rushing back to her with everything which is transpiring. However… I really need to get this off my chest and somehow feel I can trust you."

There was a small awkward chuckle as the odd pair of friends finally arrived to the elevator landing. Alana proceeded to press the corresponding button needed in taking them to their final destination. Fire eyes looked up to the man who stood the same height as her best friend. "You truly forget yourself, Bruce. You as well are my friend. I would love nothing better than to try and help solve what's eating at you."

There was a slow repeating beep, signaling the arrival of the elevator. As the doors opened, Banner motioned for Alana to take lead. As the two were inside, they made themselves comfortable for the lift to reach the bridge. When the man finally nodded after gathering his thoughts, he crossed his arms while he began. "It was a grim night. There was so much I had to do, and the constant thunder claps were indeed a constant bother. After hours of failed trials, I became overly frustrated. I should have been thrilled when Liara entered the small makeshift lab I constructed within my apartment."

"Of course you were upset, I mean think about it. You were failing at all your attempts at whatever it was you were trying to achieve." The slight crease on the light skinned woman, gave peace to the older appearing man.

A tug at his lips. "She came in, claiming she had something to tell me. Liara, you could tell from her demeanor, was beyond thrilled. Which changed the moment she caught me in middle of yet one last experiment."

"Bruce, really?" Deltora slowly shook her head, she already knew the only thing which would enrage her hotheaded friend. "Bruce, you are who you are. Trust me, no one understands that statement more than myself."

There was a slight change in the man's posture, becoming more dependent on the wall behind him. "Yes, indeed. However nothing changes the fact I shall continue to try and fix what is broken. There will always be… this need."

"Even if it isn't?" The Celestial turned her head, taking in the defeated man by her side.

A tighten of his eyes. "And once again, yet another person telling me, He is for the better."

"And what if that isn't such a bad thing?" A hand softly rested on Banner's forearm.

A shake of his head, "no. He is nothing but sheer destruction, you have seen the files, videos, and even personally. I am still unable to control him. If this is even a factor at this point. While he is able to control me, keeping me far from myself, my mind, everything. Alana, I will never stop trying to find the cure needed to subdue him. Rid myself completely of him. Plain and simple. There is too much at stake for me not continuing my studies."

"Bruce, I am so sorry that you feel this way. I would love to help you in anything you allow me to." The sad furrow she gave her friend, was proof of her sentiment.

A forced small grimace, "thank you so very much. However our conversation was about other things, I find it all too easy to become sidetracked when really digging into past events."

"Indeed," Alana could do nothing but agree.

A deep mind clearing breath. "The storm became just as enraged as we both were. I had a need to justify myself, where she had one just as serious, to battle every statement I made. I recall telling Liara she was the reason for the more frequent studies. There were reactions to her and her chemicals which deserved to be studied."

"Bruce, you really were on the winning side of that as well if you recall. You two were something, I remember it well. Neither of you denied anything. You yourself claimed you could do things around her never before accomplished." A raised right brow as Alana looked up to Banner.

A finger to the air. "That's just it. Her pheromones thrusting myself, in either state mind you, into a completely controlled state…"

"Please tell me you never said that to her." Fire eyes rolled.

"I hardy see where the problem in a true statement would lay." Banner now wore a very confused look.

"In the fact you told her that it was her smell, and not her that excited, well calmed you into liking her. Oh my god Bruce." A slender hand now covered her face. "Ughh."

Banner added more. "As well as, I needed to be away from her, it was for the best in both of our futures. Nothing good could come from anything we were. There was no way I could be anything she needed nor wanted…"

The light skinned woman cut the scientist off. "Family, oh my god, wait you and she…"

Banner became overly agitated and rambled through his words. "Oh no, oh my god, no. However yes, she has always wanted a family for as…"

"Long as I've known her. I'm sorry, go on go on." Deltora gave the man a guilty look, as she finished his statement.

A huff. "Yes. I told her I could never be a husband, nor ever father a child. I would never do that to a child, or their mother. I could not and would not create an abomination. This is what had to be the last straw to our long argument that night. Basically on top of me telling her our entire relationship was based on her scent, I completely blamed absolutely everything we were, on her. Me interested in her, me enjoying her closeness, all only a product of her pheromones. It was all too dangerous. If she was able to control me, Alana. What more would come to me while in her presence? Aside from this, if there was some possibility I could hurt her? I am sorry, but I could never live with myself if that happened."

"I don't know, maybe your damned happiness? I swear to your god, you are about the most stupidest man I know. A genius, don't get me wrong, but stupid none the less. So let me get this right, you lose, no wait. Push away the. . that made you difunctionally happy? For what? To live miserable alone? When you could've did that all too well with her by your side? You have to be kidding me right now. You broke up with her, but now you take it all back? You humans are about the most dense of creatures. I'm not saying I'm on her side at all, so before you even go there with me, you are leaving things out. I can tell, even if you don't remember the entire fight, got to believe she will." Alana folded her arms across her chest. Clearly wanting to smack this man upside his head in the choices he made for himself. "So let me get this right. You're standing here right now, telling me you want her back. Going against every single thing you just said. You humans are about the smartest beings ever. Wow."

A slow shake of the head as Banner listened to every mental word delivered. "As I said, I wish everything could be taken back. I was just frustrated Alana, everything came out wro…"

"A lie." The Celestial quickly corrected.

A long release, "she hates me, and I deserve it."

"You don't." A smirk. "She's just never going to let you in that easy again. But, you both still care. It's all too evident. You moping around here, staring at her like a piece of meat, and her running away for years. Boom, Biara is alive and well. All you need is help. I got you on that part. You're welcome. Just don't fudge it up this time. Too many dogs sniffing around, if you catch my drift"

The elevator door opened to the extensive Hellicarrier helm, already full with busy inhabitants.
