"You are not helping." The grunted statement vibrating from a Bluetooth currently laying solely on a workstation, only provoked more contentment from the woman comfortably kicked back, across the room.

"Well if you wouldn't have let the dumb ass bitch do it!" The voice coming through the linked intercoms was clearly enjoying the mishap now transpiring with the field team. Every word spoken, clearly forced though unmasked delight.

Alana was upset. She had known Phoenix tried her best at putting up a reliable defense. However, since the decision they both took in splitting their soul, their powers, everything they were. Neither was nowhere near capable as before. The Celestial felt the need to vouch for her twin soul. "Liara, this really isn't helping."

Yellow eyes danced as the She Wolf found the entire situation quite hilarious. "Just like Phe? Then again if I was out there. You know, I actually find this rather inter…"

"Someone really could have been hurt, Liara." The red headed woman currently tending to her other half, only held a button down steady on the ear device as she spat her imposition.

Large eyes rolled at her friend's weak rebuttal. "Well duh, me. Oh, you meant besides her so-called pride? Oh and of course, her ass. I'm gone need for you to do better little baby."

Heat was mounting within Alana. She was highly upset in the manner of which Liara was taking light with the misfortune of another. No matter if it was even a woman she never seemed to get along with. In her opinion, they were on the same team, therefore everything should be squashed. At least while there was a mission in progress. "Liara, this is no way shape or form, funny."

"You are exactly right. It's a fucking disgrace. And y'all ain't want me out there cause I'm the loose cannon." A dimple sat deep in her right cheek while speaking through a heavy smirk. Taking amusement in all the chaos transpiring on the ground, which continued playing out in front of her.

Orange flames danced inside red eyes with the mounting rage within the petite woman. Her friend was not going to shut her sarcastic ways up, and it was definitely beginning to be more than enough. "You didn't want to come, remember. Miss 'I work only behind the screens now'."

"Thaaat too, but I was following orders. Remember. National Anthem told me to stay, that was a thing you know. Besides, I could've broken a nail, and I'd have to take that out on Slumbering Ugly over there." Liara, wiping tears from her glistening eyes which intensely studied the feed. Even if her mouth was foul, and seemingly uncaring, her actions were anything but. "Question."

"This really isn't the time, Miss Liara." Rogers made his best attempt at communicating while completing a corkscrew maneuver. Taking down three rather large mercenaries in the process.

Captain America's circular shield caught one man with a powerful blow to the back of the head. The sheer force behind the strike had the stocky body crumbling fast to the concrete. Before the item returned to his bracer, a right hand connected squarely with an uppercut to another sole. The overwhelming pressure of the blow, led the stout enemy to actually lift from the ground. Followed by the soldier tumbling quickly forward with a hard crash. As the Avengers' Leader began correcting himself, a right foot kicked straight. Connecting with the gut of yet an additional operative, as the man ran in for his own attack. Sending the enemy soaring backwards into a stone wall. The rough head impact, thrusting the man unconscious before his body began sliding down within a hill of rubble.

"Oscuridad. Since we're all in our get-ups, baby. So like, since your boo thang over there is taking a break, can I as well?" The She Wolf inspected thoroughly the live feed as she found everyone fairing nicely against their own.

Since the remainder of the team were now down to defeating the stragglers, she was satisfied enough to lay her attention strictly on the man within the transparent feed. Currently on bending knee, as well trying his best to awaken their wounded teammate.

After a few more moments of silence, the thin-framed alien being who had been pulled aside to safety, not too much earlier by the fair man in blue began to stir. Regaining her consciousness appeared to be a slow-going process. As one could easily tell, she was still groggy and seemingly a little worse for wear. Alana slowly and calmly began to fill the woman in on what happened since she was down. Rogers extended and arm, offering the petite celestial female a helping hand to shaky feet. This was only after he was thoroughly satisfied in Phoenix actually being capable to handle sudden movement.

"I know you can hear me." Two sets of eyes narrowed, while only one could actually see the action of the other. "Which way?"

Without one word being voiced, the woman sitting high above in the Hellicarrier replied. Disgust written in every action she executed. A distasteful scowl, paired with a more menacing stare on the barely opaque feed before her. "Deep within the compound."

Another quick squint of light emerald orb. This time chalking it up to the woman shaking off the sting she continued feeling deep in her bones. "Take a break."

"No can do." A slow shake of fantasy colored tresse. As if somehow the other woman, miles below could actually see her.

"Look blue headed bitch. I'm trying to be nice and give you forewarning." The tone coming across now, much angrier while the woman was seen pulling her long white locks into a high ponytail with a smile upon her face.

Liara closed her eyes. Took in a deep breath, recalling all too vividly the last time. She slowly lowered her head, followed with an even more delayed release. A slow wet of lips, while focusing her attention on the quicken in the only other person in the room's heart rate. "The only one who can get you to them is up Alana's ass as we speak."

Sitting tense, rubbing at either side of his goatee. Nicholas Fury was going over each plausible scenario creating such a reaction produced as th. One of complete defeat. Even moreso in a person such as her. In inspecting every single detail playing before him, the parties involved, it hit him. He knew. He always did. Had to. Forced to. There was always a need to be overly astute when it came to this particular female.

Before Liara even decided to glance back, he was by her side. Knowing she was within a mental debate with either herself or someone else. His left hand found itself resting tenderly on blue hair before he even knew it. "Either you make this thing hover up in altitude."

"Liara." Fury stepped back, giving the woman now lifting to feet, enough room.

"Fine." A shrug as she made sure to forcefully buck his arm with her shoulder while moving past him to the helm. "I'll do it."

"Don't touch…" The smile Liara gave, made him think twice. Which in itself, still a losing action. As the woman gave a cocky lift to her left brow, followed by lifting them both quickly in amusement.

"Ain't never heard that before." A simple smirk, thrusted a right dimple to carve her plump face perfectly. Paired with a sultry chuckle and rolled eyes, showed her pleasure with herself. "Boy, first of all. I ain't touching shit up in here. I know for a fact your hands ain't been on all this, so ain't no telling where they've been. I ain't got no time to be catching not a damn thing from you. And god only knows whatever lay you been hounding around these days. Then again… Regardless. Ain't none of your hoes as fine as this, boo."

Fury crossed his arms, not amused with anything coming from the She Wolf in the least. "Liara."

"Do I really have to spell everything out for you? Fuck bruh. Okay look."A right hand placed itself on her chest. While a signature left brow arched itself high on a cocky angle. "Me. Sexy lady. Quinjet."

Fury only crossed his arms, then sucked at the right side of his teeth. His posture showing every bit of his annoyance.

Liara now with the same right hand lifted in the air, adding more emphasis to the attitude given to her longtime friend. "Naw, naw naw. You asked for this. Roll that beety little eye right back in your ungreased head. Make me sick. Know what, you ugly men, stay here. Team up on white girl. Y'all had y'alls chance with me, but of course ain't know what to do with nothing. But I get it, I get it, I really do. Demasiado sazón." (Too much seasoning)

Nick walked closer to the thick female. Grabbed her right arm roughly, to begin ushering her from the craft before she could get more into her narcissistic speech.

"Yasss, just like this. It could be a little rougher though. Oh how I do love it when you manhandle me." The moan in her voice only led to a heavy giggle on her part.

Only a deep grunt was given in response to the sly self-confident smile by his side. After exiting the elevator on their last section of the landing. While on their way for the in-ship hanger, they happened upon Betty with her former beau Bruce. A closed mouth Liara, allowed a deep contented chuckle to rumble from her throat. Which turned into a long drawn-out, high-pitched hum. As her thoughts were about to made verbally.

There was clear nervous tension painted on the scientist, as his eyes quickly scoured the incoming duo. The giddiness of the superpowered woman arriving, was of less help. "Umm, wh… where are you two going?"

"To f…" the pinch on her arm dug in, just that much more as she began. However, the stare she felt from a covered eye, was what caused the change of her sentence. "Oh you know. Nicholas just had to show me this thing. Since he's weak and all, he knew I could lift it, no pressure."

There was a swift light narrow to Banner's eyes. The slight release of agitation which was allowed to surface from the scientist was so far from the actual internal anger he was withholding.

"Bye." Liara lifted her shoulders, followed by a little wave of her stiletto pointed fingertips. "Take care, and be safe."

Betty renewed her conversation once again with Bruce, while he led her into the elevator cavity. Clearly not understanding the other woman.

Banner gave one last bothered glance over his shoulder, as the other duo strolled onward at a quickened pace. Before the closing steel doors denied him to continue.

"Fuuuuck. Take the fucking skin off while you're at it! That. Shit. Hurts. Nicholas!" Liara completely stopped in the long slim corridor. Quickly grabbing, turning, and slamming the slightly taller man forcefully backward into the wall. Enough for his body to bounce back into hers after impact.

The challenge within himself was great. Making the situation even more heated. Given the person currently trapping him against the new formed crevasse. He stared into brilliantly glowing sunshine. "Are you going to shut your motherfucking mouth? Or do I need to shut it for you?"

Liara, with a dangerous snarl on her face, pinned the dark-skinned man back even further as she let herself be known. "Who the fuck gone make me? Defiantly not yo' bitch ass. I know that shit fo' sho'. Ya' best be goddamn glad I like yo' stupid potbelly, baldhead, deadeye havin' ass. Stupid sorry ass bastard. And for that matter, first of all, who the fuck you think you talking to like that… I ain't ya' bitch. Bitch

The eyes of pure sunlight faded, and before both of them knew it, she was doubled over in pain. One hand still balled tight of black shirt. The other palm resting hard over her left eye, nails digging hard into her scalp. The Director placed a steady arm around the thick woman as he became her crutch and quickly walked them the remainder of the hall. Getting them to the Quinjet hanger as fast as possible. "And this is why I came with your cocky fat ass."

Even with the immense pain searing through her skull, the sarcasm was never gone from the woman. As a whispered laugh escaped her parted lips. She took a hard, ragged breath of air as she stared at the rapidly passing flooring. Her voice was weak, yet full of spite. "You love it. Remind me to give you head later while I sit on your face sweetie."

Her remark gave Fury a bit of reassurance to her actual pain level, and just how much more she could bear. The huff, and smile on his face was quick and natural while paired with a shake of his head. "You don't do that."

"Yes I do. Who the hell am I to deny a man his dinner? Got to keep 'em fed. Ain't nothing better. Oh, but maybe having handfulls of hair, or in yo' case, gripping them big ass ears tight. And even though you already knowit ain't stop your nasty ass from imagining me all up on my knees gagging on you. While you oh so politely hold my hair, forcing just that much more down my throat. Hmmm, but I don't know. For you baby. You might be the one to get the honor of being the first to get to see me looking up at 'em…" Liara's eyes closed tightly. A long hiss, trying her best to close off the searing pain. She refused to give in, so she pushed on. "You know, I recall almost dying this way before. And know what, it ain't much fun this time either. Don't say anything else boo. I can't hear, and you know I want to be able to when you confess your undying love for me. I sooooo cannot wait."

Nick could tell the She Wolf was indeed in pain. But just how much he was still unsure of, nor how much longer she would be able to hold on. Her body was reacting harshly to the unseen, unheard force. Even though she was battling the effects, she was strong. He knew this woman would give her all. No matter her own safety. He had seen it too many times over throughout their long history. A right arm was pulled tight over his shoulders as he forced his left around her. "You ain't going down. Never while with me. Come on baby girl. Let's get you out of here."

His speed and strength, became nothing short of sheer adrenaline when glancing over to the woman within his arms. She took a hard mind clearing blink as the tears ran freely. When there was a gasp, the Director seemed to lift the thick-framed woman from the ground. As he now had them within the spacious hanger. Nick realized he was laying a weak body into a craft and began taking off, all in what seemed only seconds.

"Nicholas." As she laid on the cold metal flooring of the Quinjet, the voice was small and weak. Liara removed her arms from the black hoodie sleeves and proceeded to pull the clothing up, to cover her face. A hand found each ear and pushed hard. "When I tell you this shit hurts. Remind me to like, not be me anymore."

A contented and somewhat stress relieved huff was given in response to her actions. The Director decided they were finally at an adequate altitude for Liara's suffering to come to a much needed halt. He gave an instinctive retort while looking over his right shoulder. "That's what she said."

"Yeah, but not to you." A sly smile creeped on her face. Her head was groggy and throbbing, her hearing was faint, however she knew what she had heard.

Her retort came as a comfort. Seeing as he indeed made a sound judgment in his actions. "Are you sure?"

"Bitch, of course." Huge yellow eyes rolled from under the hoodie, when a smile found her lips.

Her voice was becoming a bit stronger. even though, it was noted a struggle to be given. "Quite?"

A hard dry cough, paired with a smirk. "Remind me."

"Liara." The sternness in his demeanor returned, as soon as he was satisfied with the newfound strength from the woman.

"Nicholas." A snake of her neck and a raised left brow from under the hoodie.

A smile while tangled blue hair was unleashed from hiding, when she pulled her hoodie down from over her head. "What are you..."

As fun as this poking Nick Fury conversation was going to be. Right now Liara was even more concerned with why Alana's wretched half felt the need to go all sonicwave again. "I was waiting for you to whip it out. But since you ain't trying to take advantage, watching the feed from your ground crew is the next best thing."

Fury watched as the olive-skinned woman reached down and fished in her skin-tight sweatpants. "When have you ever been taken advantage of?"

She pulled out a small device, flicked her wrist, as the black dime-sized machine took flight. In only seconds, it began to emit a projection of all the camera feeds upon the ground team.

A tisk as Liara began to touch at the air. Pulling her fingers apart to zoom in on areas of the live action. "You trying to act as if you ain't read my files produced by your best friend."

An eye scoured everything his company was now pinpointing. "He ain't none of mine…"

"Rude and disrespectful. Wow. Anyhow, they were right on a lot of those things. I don't know how they know me like they do, but it is like I said before. There's a lot that wasn't on there, like the most important things. Which makes me know your friend was being spoon fed this info directly." The tiny contraption hovering in the air, lifted higher to attach itself to the roofing of the Quinjet. While the woman lying on the floor continued to tap into new camera sources within the base.

"Liara?" Yes, indeed he had questions over the so-called information. Nick could never deny. He had also wondered why details he personally was in the know of, were never mentioned.

A slight furrow to the man currently from her line of sight. She knew what he needed conformation of, and it pleased her to know he was curious. It never meant she was going to give Nick what he wanted, but seeing him needy was a thing of sheer pleasure. "No, I'm straight. I mean it. It has made me who I am. Well, for the most part I guess. I really don't remember most everything in detail, but I know that bastard did things to me. Scarred for life, daddy issues and all that good stuff. Yay for the scarred crazy woman right."

A light disgruntled exhale. She was not going to give him what he wanted. Then again he knew it was selfish of him to even think she would. "Liara." But this topic was the last one he needed recalling he read.

A loud gurgle was given in response as yellow eyes studied the even further enlarged live feed. The crew were still fighting through mercenaries left and right. Even though the ground crew were being relentlessly attacked, none seemed hurt. A good sign.

Liara was tiring from just watching the star-crossed lovers known as the Stucky far below beat and pound on men. Even though she could admit the side she's been able to hold down for a while, was extremely intrigued. Her interest peaking with each interaction of the men during close hand to hand combat. She was actually itching for a go with those two. She changed her mind and locked in on another screen.

Three other Avengers just moving fingers in the air, with a complete lack of imagination to accompany that ability was even worse. It actually hurt Liara to her soul. The fact Phoenix was being a team player left a truly sour taste in her mouth. However, Liara knew the reasoning behind this all too easily. You catch more flies with honey than with… Alana, clueless to everything, this was the nail in the coffin… vinegar. There was a mental note made, to make sure to screw her over and get her her man.

After her eyeroll, she was forced to investigate the last four individuals working as a team. To just simply shoot operatives dead seemed too horribly quick and extremely boring. Given, three of those possessing the ability to fly, once again so unoriginal with execution. Just tacky. Well at least one was playing with his toy while doing so. But still.

Watching all of these guys fight without her was excruciatingly tougher than she would admit to anyone. No one ever questioned Liara on only working behind a screen. They just accepted the change without a single word. All but one. The one watching behind intense yellow eyes. Changing her codename and attire were also small steps in trying to silence the beast. One who now was literally screaming to join in the party far below, to showcase the actual art of killing.

Silencing the beast, led to an idea of adding the Hellicarrier helm feed as a bonus. The place she was still supposed to be. She could keep an eye on a certain scientist. Besides, who knew what crap she was feeding poor simple and completely gullible Jekyll. In her honest opinion, he was already up to his beautiful two-toned curls with nothing short of venomous lies. Which reminded her. When she tried a word of advice, he bit her hand. That jerk was on his ow. However still interesting enough to watch his blessed awkwardness around a woman he used to bed.

Now. With all the previous options given, and the various feeling each scenario provoked. Liara admitted, the conversation here was getting better and better by the moment. Out-trumping anything else tenfold. Fury was already forgetting whom he was with, and not keeping his emotions in check. Continuing to feed into her hand? Had it really been that long since her departure? Or was he truly just getting rusty in his 'Ultimate Spy' persona with age. Was his life here just that boringly bland? No. He missed her, plain and simple. Just as much as she missed shooting the shit with him.

With there being too many appetizers to choose from, Liara chose to go with a hearty helping of dark chocolate. "I really really love when you continuously call my name. But right now, it's really lame boo. You craved conversation. I would've preferred the dick. But here we are, lying next to each other, watching a movie."

His eye exchanged its line of sight for the overconfident woman on the ground. Eyes forward, carefully keeping watch over her teammates. "I'm nowhere near you."

"Well, in my mind you're in me. So we're just going to have to make do right?" Liara tilted her head backwards, until she could come eye to eye with the dark-skinned man, still seated in the cockpit. A raise of her neatly sculpted brows, as a cocky chuckle was released when she lowered her neck.

"Why do I even?" Leaning down, propping his elbows onto his knees. While he ran both hands over his scalp.

"Your heart tells another story boo. I was trying to throw you some well needed pussy. But I guess it still ain't good enough for you, so is watching Phe lose her mind? It makes me happy, even though that hoe almost made my ears bleed again. That really isn't a good look for me you know. I need to be here when you confess that love for me that you've had pinned up for years, I mean decades, which should be any minute now. You ain't getting any younger you know. Come on now. It really ain't that hard." A warm smile curved her lips, hearing his change of heartrate. A familiar calm.

"No, you are more into making them bleed." The smirk on his face. He had missed this. One-upping an unfiltered woman such as her.

The woman raised her hands to lightly clap her approval. "Oh. My. God. See, you get me. That is so sexy."

"Liara, has it really been that long since you got laid?" It was an honest question, however it seemed more in need of asking than anything else. At the end of the day, she was a friend of his.

"Boy please, have you seen me? A bitch done got thick in all the right places I mean who the fuck we kidding boo, I got plenty when I was fat, hell you remember. But now babay. Ayy." The woman turned her head to the right, looked down and jerked her right shoulder forward. Clearly finding herself worthy of every man's attention.

"I swear there is something so fucking wrong with you." Fury slid down in his chair as he crossed his arms. Lifting a right hand to his lips.

A hand found her chest as her mouth hung agape, feigning offence. "Umm, yeah. That would be the fact you'd rather use your mouth for talking. But who am I to judge right? Are you going to shut the fuck up, so I can hear what your ground crew is saying? Or am I going to have to put something in your mouth? Exactly. Now I'll turn it up for your old man ears to be able to hear what's going on. Speaking of which, I'm so glad you trimmed your ear hair."

There was something thrown, which landed far beyond his intended mark. Clearly metal, from the repeated impacts upon the floor.

The woman still lying on the floor, gave her delight with a squeal. "Use your good eye. You was way off baby."

"I'll use my good eye alright." His reply was quick and natural, much like their friendship.

"I know you will. Hold on, let me turn over for you." The woman effortlessly slipped her arms back through her hoodie, and rolled to her stomach. Took a glace at her arched up bottom. "There. Is that better? We both know you love looking at this bootay. But too bad for you lil baby, I ain't gone twerk right now. You fucked that all the way up."

"God damnit Liara." She was forever quicker to the punch. Her word play was omnipresent. A rather large bothered exhale was released.

"Oh. My. God. Yaaas The memories." Liara was thoroughly enjoying herself. Nicholas was too easy, much like all men.

Fury was tired of being baited and his voice made sure to relay the message. "Would you fucking stop."

"Never heard that before. But first of all, ain't nobody talking about your old, nasty crusty ass, saggy fucking balls right now. All stuck on yourself these days, damn. I'm all into this footage you still ain't paid not no attention to. Smartass motherfucker. I know I'm fine, but damn baby. Can we please do some work?" Every bit of attitude was given to the Director behind her.

"Really." Just listening to the woman was a mental battle. Was she actually being serious, even though her mouth was still full of sarcasm? Or yet just another play on words.

"I'm for real Nicholas. I remember this," the woman lying on the cold steel floor of the Quinjet, only turned on her back. Just stared up before clenching her eyes tight. She shook her head clear before she pointed to her left temple. As she reopened her color of the sun orbs, her friend was standing tall, staring down to her. She drank every bit of him in with a lifted brow. "It's hazy and dark, but I know it. This base goes down deeper than it actually appears. More than ten levels further."

Fury now lowered himself to a right knee as he began stroking the woman's head.

"You do know where this type of thing leads right? I've seen the porn boy." The look she gained, only lead to a hearty burst of enjoyment.

The slap to her head only seemed to play right into her pleasure.

"You forgot to push my head down, but for real." Liara's conversation changed to the others, as she pressed a green glowing holographic which floated in the air just below the imagery. "I have a question. Is your mindset the same down there?"

Phoenix was the person to quickly answer. "Why are you in such a good mood?"

A wet of lips followed by her retort. "You mean on top of you failing to do anything correctly, and having a night night while everyone else was hard at work?"

"Everyone except you." White hair was tossed backward as she took a look over her left shoulder to the team.

A raised lip in disgust. "Nope, not true. I was putting in work, thus my happy tone. Stupid ass bitch."

"Liara, really not the time for your heartfelt conversation." Sam voiced.

"You are so right, since I wasn't even talking to the parrot in the first. I was talking to the one with the precious." The Wolf's voice changing to a whisper.

"Would you lay off the arm." Feeling the need to defend Barnes, the words were snapped out.

"Oh. Is that what you call it? Aww, look at his reaction. Wow Alana, just put poor Thickems the Bear on the spot like that. You are such girlfriend material." The woman high above was living for the jealousy running through her friend's veins.

"Shut up Liara." Alana was embarrassed.

Phe was quick to butt in. "No, actually the pup is right on this one."

Rogers himself, was over the bickering. "Liara could you just please ask…"

"No Steve, she's right." There was a self-assured chuckle which vibrated through everyone's ear, with the comment the man made to his best friend. "Yes, the compound goes down ten more floors than it should."

"Top secret." Those words were stated in union. One running alongside his best friend, Captain America. While the other, laying on hard metal, hovering miles above them.

"Which means exactly what?" With his voice echoing surprisingly through the Quinjet. Everyone could hear another giggle of enjoyment returned before she started.

"That Smokey does remember what I do. This place was used more than often as my, his, our friendly little brainwashing neighborhood. I knew it was mine, a while ago. But he just now confirmed it his. You know, I really do think that if you could get out from under Betty for like maybe two seconds, you can pay attention and help your team." Liara, thouroughly enjoying herself. The fact she was pissing everyone off she deemed worthy was great.

"Are you for real right now?" There was sheer resentment in her mental delivery.

Aware of the tone, yet not interested in being intimidated. An innocent defective tone was returned in like. "Yes! He's been under her the entire time. Just rude and disrespectful. While everyone else has had their mind in the game."

A natural sadistic smile graced the white haired woman's face as she mentally went for Liara. "So what you are really saying is he isn't the one who helped you. That you now, after all these damn years pining after a nasty ass. Gross ass, I hardly see how any of you call him one, so called maaaan. Eww, that hurt even saying it. You finally know your place and just how you actually never ranked all that high with the Neanderthal. That he never, nor will he ever love you. But you know what that means, Alana? Come on Alana, even you can get this one right. Awww, she's with the true love of her pathetic heartworm infested life. Hurry, get her dewormed. Oh and of course, vaccinated so she stays awhile longer. Just so she and her Pirate Prince can mingle."

Liara, with a smirk growing on her face began. "Bitch, even if he had a nickel…"

Alana, quickly tried keeping the She Wolf at bay with her saying. "For the love of anything, you better not finish…"

"Ain't no way in hell I'd tickle his pickle." Liara over-talked the voice in her mind. Getting the rise out of Alana just as she intended.

"I have a question." Alana chimed in, pushing off everything currently transpiring in the three's mental conversation.

Yellow eyes, currently throughly watching the feed, only rolled before giving her mental rebuttal. "I bet you do."

The sour of her face, provoked a rather amused chuckle from the woman in the Quinjet, miles above them. Which in turn, gained her a look from her male companion.

The words returned, seemed more a bark, "you are about the nastiest thing in the whole…"

"I don't know, on her behalf, you did set yourself up for that one, mini me." The sheer contentment in Phe's voice, only infuriated Alana.

The anger ringing through the fire haired celestial, only made for her eyes to reflect it. The flames within them only danced higher and nipped far more furiously. "I hate you both."

"Damn, that's such a harsh word. I… I… I mean… I mean if I actually respected you, or even had feelings, that shit might have hurt me. Just look at how you have kicked your tick infected pet, she's whining. Bad owner, bad." The caramel skinned colored woman enjoyed digging in. And it was somehow just so much more satisfying when she was killing two birds with one stone.

"Oh Phe…" An image, as well as her words quickly popped in Phe's mind. "Nice huh? I saw that just the other night. You're welcome. You know how I am with bones. I put them straight in my mou…"

"Bitch!" Phoenix felt completely insulted.

Knowing she had just knocked Phe down a peg. Hell, quite a few in fact, Liara was keen on keeping the ball in her court. "Exactly!"

"What's going on, Phe? Liara what in the hell did you do?" The younger of the identical looking celestial beings, had a need to be in on what was transpiring

The tone which was returned, a faux innocence. "Nothing. I just showed her a lil' something. Not a big deal at all, want to see?"

"You do, and I suppress everything you want to remember and bring out all you never wish to recall." Phoenix cut her eyes to Alana, while she spat at Liara.

Just watching the anger intensify in the woman she truly hated, made everything worthwhile. "Your fucking bluff is cute. But you can't even do half the shit you're spouting. So Alana, about what Phe ain't want you to see. It really ain't much to look at, I mean unless you look at it from an angle. Like preferably from behind, then it's great

"You do. I. Sleep. With. Bruce." She knew it was a lie. Just like the woman who bursted out laughing in her mind as well in the flesh.

"O…kay" Liara barely could get the word mentally delivered. Not to mention the look she was receiving from Nick, made her laughter that much worse. "Look. Are you going to catch up with the team or not? You are hell bent on producing the only thing you are useful for and whatnot. Then you should be the one on the front line. You sent those waves out for a reason. Now all your friends are underground, you should be able to burn their fucking eyes out like you did posing as Simple Susan over there. But what do I know right? Or is it that you are trying your damnedest to be polite for lil' man?"

The woman with the yellow eyes continued her conversation, while making sure she closely inspected the actions of the entire crew. Including the one in the Hellicarrier, directly below her craft. "Babe, you think it wise your girl is all up on the feed like that? She's looking a bit too invested if you ask me."

With her words, Fury changed his gaze for the duo currently the topic of conversation.

There was a vibrate from the wrist device. One which caught him completely off-guard. He nervously took a peek. There was text upon the screen.

Banner walked away from the woman by his side. Into the long corridor. One he knew all too well, was without one camera. While the woman high above them, gave a cocky smirk to his actions. She in like, lifted from the floor, and made her way to the cockpit. Leaving the Director glued to the team far below.

As soon as Liara took a side eye to the dark skinned man over her right shoulder, she extracted the phone from her pocket and unlocked it. Touched it a few times more. Taking in the face of the shy man below. A finger was lifted to her lips. As a hologram was emitted from Banner's timepiece. He understood and nodded.

Liara swiped at the phone screen, as a voice spoke out. The man on the other side of the screen, only narrowed his eyes at the tone given to the She Wolf. "Liara what in the hell are you doing?"

"Minding my own goddamned business. Something you for real need to learn to do. Always up in grown folk business. I swear." The cocky smile on her face, only further bothered Bruce.

Before the man allowed his emotions to poke at him further, he whispered. "What do you need Liara?"

Yellow eyes quickly returned to her device. The distinguished man on the other side was jealous as always. Liara for the life of her, could not understand why Bruce felt he had the right. "Look, you are watching everyone just like we are, then you saw what Nicholas and I did."

A nod, "that just was not... some glitch?"

The death stare returned, only expressed half her attitude with the question. Her tongue, resting on the inside of her teeth, as she pulled a right cheek taut.

"Sorry, your tech." Catching his error, the scientist quickly changed the subject. "But what really is going on down there?"

A shake of her head, not believing this man could not draw any conclusion in the least. "Trap. Come on genius. Everything seems to be playing out the way it had been planned to."

Understanding her meaning, just he himself had yet to fully grasp the entirety of the situation. "Meaning…"

A deep voice boomed over Liara's right shoulder. "Meaning, Banner. This is exactly how someone wants this to go down. However, I somehow don't think they planned on our Celestial reinforcement. Which has caused them to fall back."

"Aww look at you boo, being all eh-smart." Liara had tilted the phone further, allowing the men to eye each other while they held conversion. "Unfortunately, big black is right."

Sad chocolate eyes took in piercing yellow, as she returned her device to herself. "Are you…"

"Reason Shaft and I are way up here, yep. The enemy weren't the only ones sent scurrying. Which was what you and the Mrs. came upon. And if Phe can stay awake this time, she's our best defense." Liara rolled her eyes as she shrugged.

"A lot said." Nick lowered a left hand to her shoulder, which produced a weak tug at her lips.

The seated woman watched the man in black raise the same hand to his goatee. "Right baby. I have a gut feeling she's not going to want to do what she did last time for you though. Stop staring at me like that when we have company. Like. I. said. She's trying to save face."

"Then you get on your goddamn hotline and tell her she better make sure to remember she can just as easily be confused for the enemy." A grunt, showing her he was not playing. This mission was going to go off without a hitch. Meaning this time he was going to have all his bases covered.

Large yellow eyes glowed in excitement with his words. "Oooh can I be the one to take her down? I owe that bitch everything she has coming to her."

"NO!" The fact the men spoke in unison caught her completely off-guard.

The Wolf dropped her phone as her hands balled into fists. It was not Banner's voice. Yet the deep booming one, which still continued to echo throughout the Quinjet which she was trying her best to shake off.

"Okay, wow. You bout to make me jump off this piece of shit craft to join in on Frankenstein and his Bride. Speaking of which. Jekyll, keep your woman in check. I don't like the way she's all up in mine. Unless of course she's down with the scissors, which I highly doubt since she's all up in you for some reason Banner had opened his mouth for a retort. However before he could even form his thought process, Liara had closed the line of communication.

"Nicholas, I promise you. She's up to something. Bitch ain't sat right since she got here." The thick, light olive-skinned woman raised to foot. Made her way to the feed, observing. As this time the Celestial pushed to the front line.

Phoenix' eyes turned a milky silver as she battled her way through every foe she came upon. They were all simple work. Seeing as how all were nothing but ugly bags of mostly water. It did not take her long before she was by Captain America's capable side.

A voice asked a question to her and her alone. "Are you through with your antics?"

"You trying to hump Fury?" With the smirk coming through loud and clear on the feed, the She Wolf decided to close it down.

"What the hell woman?" Nicholas turned to the woman, as she made her way to the cockpit.

A cocky smile was delivered, "I prefer when you use my name. But come on boo. We're going home. Not the Hellicarrier, but home home. Phe is going to do everything by the book, cause Steve is there. Besides, you know you want alone time with me."

The man in all black crossed his arms as he took a seat next to Liara.

A lone voice called through on all the earpieces. "Nicholas and I are going back to base. We have complete faith you will get the job done."

"Nick," when Romanoff's words came across, everything from the ground ceased and became calm. "We have everything now under control. Phe has the Leader of this operation in custody."

"Good, I will give everything the once over when y'all get it back here." The She Wolf's voice softly echoed throughout the Quinjet, as the field team slowly entered.

Everyone safe, some a little worse for wear. With one added sole. Completely quiet. Head down, listening attentively with every bit of their attention.
