Hey guys I know its been a while but I am finally ready to finish this on my own. I hope you enjoy it and tada here is your surprise.

"Here we have a 4 bedroom 3 full and one half bath ranch home on 3 acres of land. The home has a two master suite. One is off the kitchen, and the other is on the far side of the house with its own entrance to the barn." The Realtor said. "Now, I know you wanted something that was closer to the city, but I thought I would throw this out here, seeing as the neighboring farm is your parents. You can expand your farm to the edge of theirs, but still, be ten minutes from your parents. If you don't cut through the fields."

Mercedes looked around. "And about 30 from the city?"

"34 minutes from your office exactly."

Sam glanced over and looked at Mercedes, as amazing as this place would be, not only because it was close to his families' farm and would allow him to create his own addition, but the house itself was gorgeous. Newly remodeled. They didn't have a balcony since it was a ranch, but they did have a private patio, and that was something Sam could work with. But the distance to Mercedes's work was giving him pause. He was ten minutes from his, if that, and she was once again giving way too much.

The last few months were met with a lot of confusion and frustration. They still had no leads as to who ran her off the road, and everything was still quiet on those fronts; maybe it was supposed to be him, and when they realized it was Mercedes, they freaked and quit. Or perhaps they were waiting. Either way, he was glad that things were quiet for the most part.

They had spent Christmas with his family and hers, and it was, to say the least hilarious to have Marcus and Stevie under the same roof debating their teams. At Christmas, Sam officially asked all of the Jones for Mercedes's hand in marriage and then was promptly told he needed to ask sooner rather than later since they couldn't keep this a secret for long. So now he had a ring burning a hole in his pocket.

Mercedes glanced around the house, and it was legitimately perfect, everything about it. The style, which had a modern farmhouse vibe she surprisingly vibed with. These last few months had been a lot for her but moving in with Sam, it felt like she was finally moving forward.

Not knowing who was responsible scared her to death, but having Sam knowing that his family was there for her. Her family was there, made all the difference to her. She looked over to Sam, she knew he was the love of her life, that there would never be anyone in her life that would love her more than Sam, and there was no one that would love Sam more than she would.

Sam cleared his throat. "What are you thinking, Darlin'?" he asked, pulling her close to him.

"I think I really love it. I mean, it's all on the first floor, which is great. Did you see that master closet? It's more than enough for both of our things, and then some. And we have an office for both of us."

Sam nodded. "But it's farther from your job than you wanted it to be."

"Sam, that doesn't really bother me."

"But it bothers me. We agreed we would split our time; this isn't a split.

Mercedes looked at the Realtor. "Could you give us a minute?"

She nodded. "I actually have another showing, so and you don't really need me here. You can bring the papers to my office in the morning."

Sam watched as the woman walked away, looking confused. "Ummm, what's going on."

Mercedes smiled. "Well, first I want to know what you think of this place? Really."

Sam ran his hand over his face scratching his beard, "Are you serious? Merce it's amazing, it's beautiful and next to my parents. We can even add on when we decide to have kids…hell, Stevie can even move in for a beat to give my parents some much-needed rest. And the land… baby, the land is big enough to have a few animals over here and connect to my parents so we can add on extra produce. This would be the expansion I have been talking to my family about…to you about."

Mercedes nodded. "Sam, 34 minutes to work, for you to live in a dream home we both love, and for you and your family to still be close and expand your business, it's a no-brainer. So I have to leave here by 7:30 to make sure with traffic I am thereby 8:30 that's not a deal-breaker for me."

Sam sighed. "I can't let you do this for me."

Mercedes moved closer to him, pulling him close to her. "Do what, Sam? Move in with the man I love. In a beautiful, amazingly built home, he can expand his business and help his family? Yeah, I would do this for us."

"I don't deserve you." He said.

"You do."

"I would have to get my parents and Stevie on board."

"Already done. And knowing that you would love this place, I put an offer down and it was accepted."

Sam stared at her. "So this is…is our home?"

She beamed, pulling out a folder from her bag. "All you have to do is put your name on the lease."

Sam sighed shakily. "I can't believe you did all this for me."

Mercedes kissed him deeply. She and Sam had debated for a while about living together. He wasn't okay with the fact she wanted to buy the house right out, meaning she would pay. But she explained to him, with her trust fund and the fact that her brother had forced her to take some of his money (he literally handed her a cashier's check for 3 million dollars and told her it was non-negotiable.) And with the money that she made, they would be okay, and at first, he fought it, but then he made her promise to let him pay for most of the furniture.

She held up the pen and handed it to him. He smiled, taking it from her.

"I want this Mercedes; it's perfect. I can see us here, I can see our kids here." He said as he signed it.

"Our kids? Sam Evans, have you been thinking about being my future baby daddy?"

Sam smiled and licked his lips, looking over to her. "I have…have you thought about it?"

She nodded, signing her own name and putting the files back. "I have, and you are right, Sam, this is the perfect house for it; we can expand it and make it bigger if we need more rooms. This is our home…yours and mines…and well, Stevie, because your mom had the same suggestion you did. He can come and go between the houses; that way, we all get a Stevie break." She laughed.

Sam laughed, pulling her to him and kissing her softly. "What time do you have to go back to work?"

"I took off the rest of the day; I am looking at furniture with your mom and Stace. Then I figured we could grab some food and just enjoy being together. It's been two weeks since we have been alone together."

Sam shook his head. "You act like I don't know that. Trust me…I know." He pushed her against the nearest wall.

"Sam, what are you doing?"

He ran his hands down her sides and under her skirt. "I don't know what you mean."

"Yes, you do." She said, biting her bottom lip.

Sam lifted the skirt to her waist and quickly ripped her panties off.

"SAM! What the hell? I liked those!" She whined, but it turned into a whimper as he lifted her and moved her to the kitchen. The spacious room had an abundance of storage with blue cabinets on white and brass handles. The countertop was off-white quartz that had random specks of blue. A 4 foot 2, 46-inch island stood in the middle of the kitchen, and Sam lifted her up on it.

"Sam!" She yelped as her backside hit the cool counter. But Sam didn't stop there; he leaned in and started to unbutton her blouse, kissing his way down and running his tongue over he nipple, letting his hand fall between her thighs.

"Sam, are you crazy?" She said breathlessly as his fingers brushed over her clit. "You know how much I love you, baby?"

She licked her lips, closing her eyes as her head fell back. "Mmhmm."

"So then you must know that I can not get enough of you, Ever."

Sam leaned in and kissed her, and she stared down at him. "You want to do this, here…now?" She bit her bottom lip as he licked a trail down her body.

"Yes. Here and now. It's our home." He growled.

Mercedes shuttered as Sam spread her thighs. "Mmmm, my favorite treat.

"Oh…daddy…yes!" She moaned as his tongue swiped her clit. Sam hungrily lapped up everything she had to offer, loving how much she squirmed and shook for him. He would never get enough of her. Feeling her squeeze him, he quickened his pace; her hands gripped the counter as she came hard, screaming out his name.

Sam didn't even hesitate; he quickly tugged his pants down and pulled her to him, pushing deep inside of her as she wrapped her thighs around him.

"Mmmm, you bought us a house with the perfect size island for this." He hissed in her ear. "My naughty girl, you wanted me to take you all over this house, didn't you?"

She moaned out, gripping his back. "Yess…" she hissed. "Every surface."

Sam pulled her to him and carried her to the nearest wall, still inside her. "Let's get started." He pushed her against the wall, moving deeper inside of her, thrusting fast and hard, her screams echoing the empty space. She held him close, thighs wrapping tighter around him, body growing closer again.

"So close, baby, you gonna cum again for daddy?"

She nodded, unable to form words.

"That's my good girl. Cum with me." He commanded, and she squeezed his shaft, causing him to cum, both falling apart together. Her head on his shoulder, hair falling everywhere.

They stayed like that, breathing finally coming back to normal. "I don't deserve you."

She laughed. "Yeah, you do."

There was a knock at the door, and Sam sighed. "Who would be coming here? The Realtor left?"

"OPEN THE DOOR, YOU FREAKS. I WANNA SEE MY ROOM." They heard Stevie yell. Mercedes laughed. "Maybe we can pretend we aren't here?"

"Yeah, he will not buy that with both our cars out there."

Fixing their clothes, Sam gave her another kiss before opening the door for Stevie. "What the hell makes you think you are living with us?"

Stevie shrugged. "Because you love me? Plus, it will give mom and pops a break."

Mercedes grabbed her phone, shaking her head. "Well, your mom, Stace, and I have a shopping appointment." She moved to kiss Sam. "I will see you later for our date. What should I wear?"

Sam pulled her close. "Something easily accessible."

She giggled, shaking her head. "I'll see you later."

Sam watched her leave and sighed, looking at Stevie. "Since you are here, you can help me."

"Help you with what?" He asked skeptically.

"Come on, I will tell you on the way."

Mercedes had a pretty great day; Sam loved their home, they would close on it later in the week, and all the furniture she picked out, would come in early next week. She would give Sam a small fraction of what they spent so he could pay for that.

Now she was meeting Sam at his parents for their date. Wearing a lavender sundress with white Sandles, her hair was in a low side ponytail, her makeup was subtle.

As Sam exited, he wore a light blue buttoned-down and a pair of jeans. His hair was shorter than it had been this morning, his facial hair trimmed. She didn't think he could be more handsome, but he was. He took her breath away.

Sam leaned down and kissed her softly. He held up a bag, and she smiled. "Is that ribs I smell?"

"Yes, got us takeout; we are going to the lake."

Her eyes widened. He was recreating their first date, and it was sweet. "Sam… aren't you a week early?"

Sam shrugged. "We don't have to wait for our actual one-year anniversary to celebrate, do we?"

She let him lead him into his truck. "No, we don't."

As he helped her into the truck, he kissed her knuckles. As he got into the driver's seat, he drove to the front of the farm and parked across from the empty stand.

"This is where we first met."

She laughed. "I remember. I had thrown my phone down and pulled over because I was angry. Frustrated, and then I saw your stand and figured maybe fruit would cheer me up."

Sam laughed. "Wanna know something funny? Right before you came, I got on Stevie for dropping a watermelon, then you make me drop mines. I was just mesmerized by you. I couldn't believe someone like you could ever want to be with someone like me."

Mercedes leaned over and kissed him. "Best decision ever."

Sam took her hand as they took the short drive; she was so distracted, thinking over how they met that she missed seeing Stevie's four-wheeler speed by them. As Sam parked the car, She grabbed the bag to go and took it to the truck's bed, but Sam laced their fingers together and led her to a tree. She gasped as twinkle lights lit up the tree; a blanket and bucket with chilled sparkling grape juice were next to a dozen roses. She placed the food down and turned to Sam.

"Sam, this is-" She stopped as she turned and saw him down on one knee. "Sam?"

He closed his eyes for a moment and cleared his throat. "Mercedes, the best thing about you is that you saw me, the me who I always wanted to be. Before you met me, I didn't think I could be anything more than a country bumpkin who would never amount to anything, but you saw me for who I was; you made me a better man."

Sam pulled a small box out of his pocket. "You are the best thing to ever happen to me; I can't imagine my life without you. If you accept this ring, I can promise to love you, protect you and always be what you need. I have loved you from the moment I met you. After our first date, I told Stevie I would marry you and if you would be my wife. Then I can do just that. Mercedes, will you marry me?"

Mercedes stared at Sam with tears in her eyes. "Yes! Sam, yes." She nodded.

Sam opened the box revealing the 3-carat diamond princess cut ring, and she gasped. "Sam, it's beautiful… it's too much though, you didn't need to spend thi-"

He cut her off. "4 Generations ago, Samuel Eric Evans bought this ring, after 5 years of saving everything he could for his bride. It had been in my family ever since…I was going to let Stevie or Stacey have it, though it was passed down to me as the oldest. I couldn't see any woman worthy enough for it. Until you. I had it cleaned and fitted for you because this ring has always belonged to you, my one true love."

"Sam…" She said, tears falling from her eyes as he placed it on her finger. Mercedes pulled Sam to her, kissing him deeply when clapping and cheers rang out. She turned to see Mary, Dwight, Stevie, and Stacey, along with Blaze, Quinn, Marcus, and Matthew holding up a tablet with her parents.

Mercedes wiped her eyes as Sam stood kissing her again. "Well, I guess you all know she said yes!"

"You planned all this for me?"

Sam kissed her again. "I would do anything for you."

They celebrated at the lake for an hour or so before everyone went back to Sam's parent's house for dessert. Sam and Mercedes spent about 10 minutes on video with her parents, who promised to be out in a few weeks to properly congratulate them. Now Mercedes sat holding her 6-month-old niece.

"Q, I promise she is the most beautiful."

She and the ladies all gushed around that little girl as the men gathered around Sam.

Marcus laughed. "You better watch out Evans, looks like Merce might be getting baby fever."

"Fine with me; I want to start a family as soon as possible."

Matthew hit Sam's back and shakes his head. "You better be careful what you wish for; tell her that, with the way that she is holding that baby, she will jump on you."

Sam smirked. "Eh, you act like that doesn't sound good to me."

"Dude!" Matthew and Marcus said.

They all share a laugh as someone knocks on the door. Stevie goes to the door and frowns. "Ummm, Sam…"

Everyone looks towards Stevie and frowns, seeing Jess standing there.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

Quinn looks at Mercedes. "Who is that?"

"Sam's ex."

Quinn nodded, looking towards the door. Jess walked in and smiled. "I need to talk to you, Sam."

"About?"

He asked, crossing his arms across his chest. She moved closer to him. "Maybe we can talk alone."

Mercedes laughed, and Sam shook his head, and Stacey moved towards her. "Jess, you need to leave. This is a celebration, and you are ruining it. Sam and Mercedes are engaged. You lose so buh bye."

"Pretty sure Sam will want to hear what I have to say."

"God stop the games, Jess; we have been done for over two years."

She laughed, shaking her head. "Well, considering we have a child together, that might change.
