The turf alight in a colorful blast of silver and gold, the heavyweights were making their presence felt attempting to obliterate the other in a heated turf war that saw the trio of Jin, Rina, and Taro go head to head with Gin, Silvia, and Obi in a showdown between senior members of the rivalry. From insane team combos done by Beacon Hills rooted in their impeccable chemistry to the wicked talent displayed by the best of Special Forces in their solo kills, the acrobatic finishes and surprise ambushes were only the tip of the iceberg for reasons behind why the battle had the attention of the whole world. Neither side showed any mercy for the other and it was a lucky thing that the objective in this case was all about turfing because the senior members on the floor exhausted themselves trying to wipe out the other, seeing this round as a perfect chance to truly blow off steam; and neither side hid that fact. While it was an all-out battle with action sprouting all over the map, the recurring sight in the round was that wherever Jin was, Gin was there too. The anticipated resumption of the duel between the brothers with bad blood never kicked off however and it was thanks to the interference of the rest of Special Forces. It was obvious what the skipper's intentions were, but it was more along the line that Rina, Taro and the rest of the team on the bench knew that as things stood, Gin posed a real threat to Jin, especially in a solo battle where he'd had that upper hand due to the intensity and hunger to strike his brother down; as it were already they were having trouble dealing with him since he moved in a slippery way almost opposite of Jin's style, and now here he was cranked up to another level with purpose in his movements. Where Jin was all about his talent and instinct, Gin's thoughtfulness in his movements led to calculating new routes and shifting from the established path to throw the opponent for a loop, and so far it worked wonders when he went up against the junior trio. But the seniors were different…

What a royal pain! Gin glared after a few unsuccessful attempts.

A troublesome pair that he knew all too well from his first year, Gin couldn't outsmart the experienced Rina and Taro who were with him no matter where he went. An obstacle in his path to Jin, he had to get through them first before he could satiate his overwhelming bloodlust. While he dealt with them his teammates were locked in battles of their own for the turf and so far, it wasn't of much success. While Silvia and Obi were doing well on their ends to get points and a few kills while they were at it, the others struggled in trying to hold their own against the fiery junior trio and Jin, who focused all his efforts in guiding his squad to covering as much turf as possible. At the moment, the score favored Special Forces by a considerable amount based on the overhead view of a map mostly covered in gold with some pockets of silver sprinkled here and there.

The Special Forces supporters took the time to use this opportunity to sing their songs and rally their team to a crushing victory while also taunting the shortcomings of Beacon Hills, who were looking like they were taking a huge step backwards from their convincing victory in the first round. A song rooted in recalling the sad and embarrassing history of the silver squids, the supporters in gold made sure to remind everyone listening that their rivals were still far behind in the grand scheme of things. The lyrics frequently mention Beacon Hills to "Mind the Gap" on the scoreboard and in history altogether, and if that wasn't enough of a dig on a team that were getting kicked while they were down the song also boasted a period dedicated to letting out a laugh as well to rub salt in the wound. What followed was then a song to praise their Hero Jin, the greatest solo talent to ever grace the school who had already accomplished every honor but still needed just one other accolade to add to his stacked resume.

Yeah, lucky you… Gin huffs and puffs controlling his breathing amidst the pouring rain of praise for his brother, while weaving around the dangerous touch of the enemy's ink that would damage him like poison. Lucky you, Jin. Not once have you ever been in the shadow of another, always the leader and never the follower. A whole community that believes what you've been selling and stuck with you this far. They've never seen you on the ropes or beaten into submission, but today…today is the day of remembrance. His continuous dance within the blasts of gold and silver providing an exit from their grasps, before him stood an open path to where his brother was-the chance he needed to seize before it was lost.

"Oh no you don't!" Taro shouts, aware that if Gin gets to Jin, the lead they had would likely dwindle; he noticed that Jin's leadership proved successful for the team so far as his guidance was the sole reason behind the lead built and that also thanks in part to the work of the junior trio who followed commands thoroughly and relied on Jin to handle the brunt of the direct battles.

"I got you!" Silvia shouts to intercept them, followed by Obi; the pair just got through their own set of battles and already turfed a decent amount to assist the captain.

Without a break in his pace, Gin already escaped into the silver path created from earlier and made his way for his brother up ahead. At that same time, Jin still led the charge with his squad after clearing out house and now worked to cover as much ground in liquid gold as possible. His guard on high alert in spite of the lead built under his efforts, he still spared a moment to show appreciation to Kary, Eijun, and Seni for all they did in following his command and surviving to the best of their ability; even though they were thrown in the midst of a power struggle within the team, they outperformed expectation and continued to show just how high their ceiling was. Although they weren't unique and attention grabbers like C.C., Kippy, and Azule, they showed their consistency would be a significant asset to the team's future. In that moment the mixture of seamless turfing accompanied by the lack of action tripped off the sensors in the captain's mind; it was way too quiet.

Like he'd been struck by a divine warning, Jin desperately warned the others to disperse quickly and in an instant, he was met by his brother-seeing nothing but red in his eyes. It was apparent from the way he ruthlessly gave chase but Jin noticed that the root of this continuous effort had to have stable ground. Gin wasn't the kind of person to engage in such aggressive duels unless it was necessary but never before had Jin ever seen him this determined to bring him down. Was it because this was the final time? Or perhaps there was another reason? Either way, the only thought in Jin's mind at the moment as he lured Gin away from the rest of the team was to survive long enough for time to work against Beacon Hills.

Confident you can beat him this time, aren't you? Sky's eyebrows lowered, still observant of all the action occurring.

I won't let it be so easy! Jin thought still managing to time his movements perfectly in sync with Gin's and slip away at every moment, aware of his surroundings dancing around the splashes of silver sent his way.

His eyes were cold as he watched his brother gracefully weave about, You're not fooling me. I know you better than anyone, and what I'm seeing right now…His focus shifted in an instant and his gunfire stopped, submerging in the silver ink afterwards and quickly locking on another target; Jin fumbled over his step in surprise as the chase halted completely, his heart sinking with doom realizing who were in that direction.

Damn it, he didn't forget!

A little distance away carrying out their duty responsibly were the duo of Kary and Eijun who were turfing about like the their captain commanded, their guard lowered out of trust for their captain to get the job done; from what they knew of their interactions with Gin, he was the type who'd get absorbed with his feud with Jin to the point that he would willingly forget all else to accomplish his goal-his determination to outdo his brother trumped all. Well, little did they know that the image they had of him was one of old, for Gin's clarity finally revealed to him the perfect way to overtake his brother: unpredictability. For too long, what always burdened Gin was that he was too readable and predictable an opponent. Provoke him and he'll dance to your tune, pressure him into a corner and he'll be easy to manipulate. Every time and every way, Jin always managed to exploit that flaw, and he passed on that knowledge to his juniors who were reinforced by those behaviors up close. But this time, they were in for a rude awakening.

It was swift, severe, and stunning.

Two strikes as quick as lightning, Gin took them down with ease and alerted everyone by swapping out the hideous gold for a refreshing silver. A complete collapse followed with Seni's desperate arrival to avenge the others before Jin could get there, which only proved to double down on Gin's perception that Jin had taken in a trio of hindrances that brought down his level of play; not that he cared enough anymore. A win is a win. When it all looked dire for the reeling Seni who found himself doused in enemy ink, the hero arrived. A vicious display of power and accuracy combined, Gin parried the attack with just the right timing of release on his special to create distance in hopes he could bait Jin even further. But the captain of Special Forces showed fight in his eyes heading towards him. Seni understood at that moment he had no business being anywhere near those two and made his escape diving in the puddle of gold that washed away the silver.

"Everybody get ready! The brothers are back at it again!"

"Here comes the hero!"

"Gin isn't backing down however!"

Always the chaser but never the chased, this time felt different. All those years being in the shadow prepared him for this moment and no longer did her have to run behind him but instead overtake him at any time; he'd lost so many opportunities, but finally this proved to be his first-and last-time he'd be able to truly prove to Jin he'd finally surpassed him in every category.

You had everything, believed to be high and mighty and above everyone, even your own family. To know I share I share the same blood as you pissed me off! But now, that frustration I've built over the years allowed me this moment to truly figure you out in a way you'd never believe. The constant sensation of toiling away figuring out strategies for this moment, for a way to be you thoroughly. While you were parading about and got humbled, acquiring everything yet still dare show dissatisfaction once it doesn't go your way like the spoiled vermin you are, I've been waiting patiently for this moment. And I'm glad to say…the goddess of victory smiles on me this time!

His movements sharp carrying his vice with every motion of his body from his footwork to his impeccable aim, Jin could tell his brother had all intention of delivering his vengeance. Relying on his instinct in that moment, he knew the only way around such an up front and aggressive approach from an opponent that knew him inside and out was to resort to a total defense and stall. It was still a turf war, but for him to go out of his way and duel him here meant he had enough confidence in his teammates to handle business, but more importantly, to take him down convincingly.

You really aren't the same anymore…! Jin thought, dodging a very dangerous burst bomb from him at the last moment.

Gin didn't stop the onslaught though and continued to push the limits of Jin's defensive stance, looking to force his brother into an all out offensive of which he was prepared to tear it down entirely and rid him of any last options to utilize as an effective means of a spark. Jin played his cool however, and maintained a safe distance away from Gin surveying the grounds; they weren't alone. From out of left field came a dagger of a strike to Gin, although he anticipated and avoided in considerable time, instantly shifting his speed and focus to the locus of the shot. Jin's heart sank realizing who must've hit the shot and quickly he sprinted for Gin to distract him.

Numbers mean everything right now, and if our rhythm gets interrupted continuously we won't be able to get anything going. Damn it, Seni! You're kicking a hornet's nest here!

But just when his mind shifted to a complete focus of prioritizing his teammate's safety first, then came the bludgeoning shot that changed everything…

"You've gone soft!" Gin shouts with a sour look, stopping completely in his tracks with so much momentum in the dig that it felt like he'd broken some bones on such a stop, except he had no bones.

For the first time ever, Gin caught Jin completely off guard-and all on a feint no less. Seni realized it, the supporters realized it, but most importantly, Jin realized it. Gin got him. A brutal finish of the captain in gold, Beacon Hills felt even more empowered than before as they took advantage of the big fish getting slain; Special Forces didn't falter however. Seni fought back although it was futile, trying his best to hold on for the others to return. When their numbers did return however, there was a shift in temperament. Where the junior trio were following their captain blindly with the utmost trust, this time they moved with a mean streak of their own. Safe to say that they'd gotten a little too far ahead in thinking, or rather, their priorities shifted greatly from before from wanting to maintain the lead to getting revenge on Gin for how he humiliated everyone including the captain. As a consequence, Gin and his crew picked them apart-all while Jin was forced to witness it real time while actively trying to rally them. The experiment seemingly blowing up in his face horribly, Jin watched the lead they created get reduced to nothing as Beacon Hills stampede squandered it in no time. But what seemed to be foreseen was only a red herring, for the junior trio of Kary, Seni, and Eijun would display their traits that Jin cultivated. They fought back. No hesitation in their movements and a resolve steeled with greater mental fortitude, Jin and Special Forces witnessed the birth of something new.

The whistle blowing to end the match, all that shows are the remnants of the two sides that remained plastered all over the walls and floors in a chaotic mess. The scores tallying away, it was a victory for Beacon Hills who had the slight majority of the turf covered. A survival from the surging comeback orchestrated by the junior trio of Jin, the match was back to square one yet again with the venue once again raising the decibel level in response to the s tied score. Tension between the two teams intensified as the margin for error narrowed significantly with only three rounds remaining before this rivalry featuring these two brothers and their teams reached its conclusion.
