The God of Destruction comes to Remnant
An: I LIVE! Sorry about the delay guys! But this chapter. Kicked. My. Butt. HARD! It was difficult to get it where I was comfortable with it going out, but thanks to Lincoln Time and LycanGod13, this chapter is ready for all to enjoy!
And to show just how sorry I am, I have written not one, not two, but THREE omakes and left a few sneak peeks of later chapters for y'all!
So ok, I've been forgetting this for a while now, but after going through this story's reviews one day, it was brought back to my attention, so there's some things I've been forgetting to address:
1) So, some have asked which Era the story takes place. Well, the simple answer is it's a sort of amalgamation of all the Godzilla Eras. The complicated answer is I liked too much in each Era and I didn't want to make the mistake using one Era and then start using something from a different Era and some reviewers have a hissy fit. Just roll with it.
2)I don't recall any asking this, but in case they did, I want to say the fight I referenced in the first chapter (go back and read it if you don't remember what I'm talking about) is an original fight I have planned on writing at a later date. Basically, an alien species tries to take control of Earth, and the Kaiju get involved. This also kind of goes into my third point.
3)Some have asked which Godzilla is Gojira (which iteration I'm using). I'm using the, arguably, strongest version of him: The Heisei Era version. It is the same that melted down in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. But how am I using him if he officially 'died' in that movie, you ask? Well, it's simple! The aliens I mentioned in point 2? The ones who were apart of that original fight I mentioned I would write later? Well, they somehow revived all the 'dead' Kaiju because the Kaiju destroying the world were part of their grand master plan. You see why I haven't written this down yet? I've got a lot to try and pin down first before I attempt it.
4)Many have commented on Mothra and her power compared to Godzilla, and to them I say…I KNOW! HOWEVER! Let me explain some things: One thing they gripe on is Mosura's silk not holding Gojira, well, they did in Ghidorah, the three headed Monster, where she put Rodan and Godzilla into cocoons in order to stop their fight. THAT'S what I was referencing. And one of her titles IS "Queen of the Monsters." So, I wasn't wrong in calling her that, even if it's only honorary. And since this is technically an AU because of the original fight I mentioned in point 2, I am kind of…buffing…Mosura up to be a more challenging opponent. Giving her the power to keep her title of Queen of the Monsters.
5)This point is two in one: some have asked about Gojira's appearance and age in relation to each other and about the harem. Technically, Gojira is biologically somewhere in his sixties, but his Faunus form is around seventeen. But, since this Gojira was revived for that fight I keep referencing, you could consider him a few months old? Maybe? As for the ones who said it's weird and creepy for him to have a harem of team RWBY and others…well, yes I can see it but…[deadpans] Are you SERIOUSLY trying to use that against me? Almost every single vampire/immortal story in this day and age have an over 100-year-old vampire/immortal falling for a young woman from her late teens to mid-twenties. And some fanficitons have even older vamps/immortals fall for even younger girls. Your argument is invalid. I originally wrote this to see if I could even write a believable harem story, with my own flare to it, and I'm quite frankly too gosh darn lazy to go and change that.
6)And before I forget, about Gojira's semblance. Now, a lot of you are speculating he'll get his Kaiju form back as his semblance, but all I can say is while he will get that form back, it won't be in the way you all expect. There are three keys to him getting his Kaiju form back, and I'll tell you when the keys are made known. One of which has already been made known to you:
a)His ability to absorb Dust? That's the first Key.
7)NOW FOR A FINAL POINT THAT I NEED YOUR HELP WITH! Now, to be perfectly honest, I never thought this story would be as popular as it is now. But it has far exceeded my expectations and has become one of my most popular stories on this site, and the only one (that I know of) that has a page on TV Tropes! Because of this, I put a lot of thought into making this story even better for y'all to enjoy. While this DOESN'T translate to me giving into everyone's demands, I do read the reviews and take some of them into consideration IF (AND ONLY IF!) I think they will make my story better. And that's where I've hit a wall. Originally, I had planned for Gojira to join Beacon as a student, because let's face it everyone, 97% of all plot relevant material happens at Beacon for the first three volumes. However, many have commented how Gojira wouldn't fit the mold of a student there (I'm paraphrasing here), and I completely agree! With how I have Gojira now, it would be cliché to have him join Beacon. But this…puts me in a predicament. I need Gojira at Beacon for later plot points to work. Luckily, I have an idea or three to help with that! Within the next few days, I will be posting a poll on which angle you all would like to see more, which will help me plan out the future of this fic. I don't want to do this, but I'm of two different minds at the moment, and I need some help to soothe the two massive headaches I have regarding this:
a)POINT NUMERO UNO! Gojira is asked to join Beacon as an undercover student, 21 Jump Street style (A nice big shout out to Nicdragon8 for this idea) to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior among the students (but in reality, he's only there because it coincides with his own goals). This works out best for me, because not only would Gojira be at Beacon and I can easily write him into the shenanigans RWBY gets into, but also because I can have him in the Vytal tournament and write out a fight scene between him and King Kong or SpaceGodzilla. Hehehe…I really, really, REALLY want to write out one of those fights, and with the whole world watching…Hahahahahaha!
b)POINT NUMERO DOUS! Gojira is asked to join Beacon as the assistant combat instructor/teaching assistant. A little harder to write because of more interactions with teachers, yes, but manageable. Though no fights between Kong and SpaceGodzilla, I do have a few spars planned for this one between Gojira, Jet Jaguar, and maybe even Zone Fighter…Hehehe…Ruby will go nuts over these heroes I'm sure.
c)POINT NUMERO TRACE! Gojira becomes an apprentice to a certain professor at Beacon. I don't have this one as fleshed out as the other because I just thought of it recently, but with this, he wouldn't be a true student, and would have more freedom than the other two choices.
But that's up for the poll to decide! Please vote and tell me which you'd like better!
Alright, with that out of the way, here's the chapter!
Chapter XVII-Snow Princess meets Daikaiju 3
Library, Schnee family manor, Atlas; 2:34 P.M.
It had been two days since General Ironwood's little experiment started.
Weiss resolved to steer clear of it and away from the Faunus at the center of it. True, a new source of energy not of Dust was impressive and ground breaking, but she had more important things to worry about. Namely, preparing herself for Beacon.
Currently, she had just finished taking a shower after a few hours of training and was heading for the library. She figured she could do some extra studying to make sure she remembered everything she'd need for Beacon. She sighed in exhaustion as she pushed the door to her family's library open and stepped inside. She smiled at the sight of the large bookshelves loaded down with books: her own personal haven against the bland, oppressive walls of Atlas.
She weaved through the bookshelves until she reached a table at the back of the library, only to exclaimed loudly in shock and annoyance. Her table was occupied. It's occupant, didn't even look up as he growled out, "What?"
Weiss recovered and glared the Faunus she had been trying to avoid. "What are you doing here?!" she hissed, making Gojira growl back.
"I thought that would be obvious," he told her. "This is a library. You come here to read, do you not?"
Weiss shook her head in fury. "I MEAN what are you doing THIS far at the back of my family's library?!" she demanded.
"I hardly have to explain myself to you, fleshling!" he snarled, finally looking up at her.
"THIS is my home! I think you do!"
"Considering what your mother told the parasite two days ago, I disagree!" The two glared at each other with increasing ferocity.
Finally, Weiss just snarled back, "Fine!" before grabbing a book and sitting down on the other side of the table. "Just don't speak to me, and I'll do the same!"
Gojira grunted. "Whatever," he scoffed and returned to his reading. Weiss leveled a glare at him, but she shook her head in annoyance and opened her own book.
For a while, neither said anything; nor did they acknowledge each other's presence. Weiss simply glared at her book angrily while Gojira readopted a look of apathy as he read. However, after a while, Weiss grew curious and peaked over her book at the stack of books her unwanted reading companion had accumulated. Advanced applications for Dust, Aura: A Scientific Breakdown of the Soul, and Modern technologies and Ingenuities were just three of the titles she recognized.
Weiss couldn't help but be a tad confused at the subject material. Sure, he was currently part of an experiment concerning his 'nuclear energy,' but this Faunus didn't strike her as the scientific type. In fact, he struck her as a blunt, simplistic brute. But half of the books he had on the table held theories and experiments that even she couldn't wrap her head around them.
'What's his game?' she wondered darkly. 'What could he possibly have to gain by reading all that?'
Meanwhile, Gojira stared at the book before him, reminiscing of the deal he made with the robot girl's 'father'…
Flashback**
"Tell me, how do you and that tin can beside you think you can just jerk me around like this?" he growled, making the two blanche in shock.
"W-What do you mean?" Copper stammered.
"Please," Gojira scoffed. "I can smell the metal, grease, and oil on the girl. I've dealt with enough of them to recognize them." Memories of MechaGodzilla, Kiryu, Gigan, and Jet Jaguar surfaced in his mind. "Now then, I think I asked a question…" Copper and Penny grimaced.
"Look," Copper began, "I'm not trying to blackmail you. Far from it. You saved my daughter, and to me, that is worth more than all the Dust in the world! As such, I wish to respect your privacy, but this…" He gestured to the screens. "...could cause you a lot of…well, I wouldn't say 'problems' per say, but…more like, unwanted attention, so to speak."
Gojira considered that. "True…" he grunted. "But that still leaves the question why you are so willing to let this slide on my behalf."
"Because you saved my daughter," Copper told him. "And…well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in finding out how you are physically a Faunus, yet biologically not even human." He mumbled the last part, but Gojira heard him.
For his part, the Daikaiju considered that. Truthfully, he couldn't wrap his mind around the concept of 'repaying' someone for accomplishing something for them. However, he could understand and even (slightly) respect the thought of protecting one's children. If only for that, he decided to test the waters a bit.
"If I told you what you wanted to know," the Monster of Monsters mused, "what else could you accomplish for me?"
Copper didn't miss a beat. "Well, anything you'd need, not to put a too fine a point on it," he admitted. Gojira considered that for a moment before he let out a growl-sigh.
"Very well," he grumbled. "My tale starts in another world…"
He began telling him the whole truth. From the first Godzilla, to him, to the events that brought him to Remnant. He told them of his allies; of the steadfast Aguirius, of the kind Mosura, and of the hero Jet Jaguar; and he told them of his enemies; of the Terror King Ghidorah, of the metal mercenary Gigan, and of the tyrant Kaiser Ghidorah.
His audience listened to every world, their eyes wide in shock and disbelief. When Gojira finished, Copper cleared his throat as he attempted to think of words to say. Finally, he looked to the Kaiju Faunus and spoke.
"Well, um…Gojira, I…" he hesitated. "I can honestly say that's quite the story. In fact, if I already had evidence supporting it, I doubt I'd scarcely believe it! But luckily for you, your biology speaks to your truthfulness, and I do remember General Ironwood saying Professor Ozpin mentioning there were some unexplained phenomenon around Vale for the past few months, one such surge conveniently coinciding with your first appearance, I seem to recall." Gojira grunted at that.
"Great, now about my request?" Gojira asked.
Copper hummed. "I'll be honest with you, Mr. Gojira," the scientist said seriously, "what you're asking…is so far into the field of pseudo-science that I cannot even fathom where to start!" The Kaiju frowned.
"However," Copper continued, "given what you've said, I would be honored to try, at the very least. Might be fun!" Gojira looked at the man strangely.
"Just like that?" he asked skeptically.
"Just like that!" Copper confirmed with a nod. "Since meeting you, I've been handed golden opportunity after golden opportunity, and I'll be retired if I passed up on them all!"
Gojira looked at him strangely. "Ooookaaaaayyyy," he drawled out. "So we have a deal, then?"
"Mr. Gojira, we have a deal!" Copper said enthusiastically, holding out his hand. Gojira looked at the hand for a brief moment, before reaching out to shake the scientist's hand.
Flashback End**
Gojira mulled over the memory as he flipped the page in the book he was reading. He truly hoped the doctor could give him some good news.
"Hey," Weiss called out, making Gojira cut his eyes toward her. "This…island you lived on. Where was it?" Gojira's eyes narrowed at her.
"Why?" he asked. Weiss glared at him, but didn't rise to his tone.
"I'm…curious," she told him. He narrowed his eyes at her.
"Far off the coast of Vale," he answered shortly. She glared harder.
"Just…how far?" she asked again, her glare never wavering.
"Just a bit further south of the island chain Las Cinco Mortis Archipelago," the Kaiju answered.
Weiss scoffed. "That myth?" she asked scathingly. "If you were trying to make your story believable, we should have used an actual island like…" She blinked and turned towards a map of Vale shown in one of her books. She frowned thoughtfully as she continued, "Patch. Like the island of Patch, not some make believe cluster of islands like that!"
"Whether you believe me or not is none of my concern!" he growled quietly.
"It should be!" she growled back.
"Is that so? I call that bluff!" the Kaiju snarled. "Why should I be concerned about your beliefs, meat sack?!"
"I can certainly tell Ironwood of the inconsistencies with your story, for one!" Weiss's nostrils flared. "I wonder what he'd say when he finds you're keeping secrets from him?!"
Gojira snorted. "Not a damn thing, I assure you," he growled. "Considering he already knows I haven't told him everything about me."
"Then why hasn't he said anything about it?!" she snarled, a sense of triumph creeping into her voice.
"He most likely sees no reason to annoy me about it!" Gojira leveled a darkened glare on the white-haired girl. "I am cooperating with this stupid experiment of his; as such, he most likely sees no reason to bother me about irrelevant details that don't concern my powers."
Weiss frowned at that. She supposed that was a legitimate response. But considering just how much media the Faunus before got for the incident in Vale, she had to wonder just why General Ironwood wasn't pressing the matter more. It was obvious that this rapscallion was a menace to society!
Well, it was obvious to her, anyway.
Weiss hummed in superiority. "I suppose that I can accept that answer," she allowed. "However, given what you've done in Vale, I don't think many in Atlas will agree." Gojira scoffed.
"Tell it to someone who actually cares," he told her, making her growl in anger.
"I suppose I shouldn't have expected much from a Faunus!" she sniped.
"For a human, you're just about where I pictured: low to the ground, groveling and begging!" he growled back.
"How dare you!" she screamed indignantly.
"OF COURSE, I DARE!" he shouted back, making her reel back in shock. "You dare come to me and make presumptions about matters you have no knowledge of?! You have no idea what I'm capable of! So, leave me be, insect!" The insult, however, just set Weiss off more.
"Your arrogance is stifling!" she hissed out. "I mean, really, do you really think you're that much better than humanity?!"
She was startled when he started laughing. "'Think?' Oh, there's no 'think' to it!" he told her with a dark smirk. "I KNOW I'm better than humanity! Your kind are mere specs of dirt compared to me!"
The heiress seethed at that. "Is that right?" she asked lowly. "Well then, what makes you so sure of that? What snide little comment can you give me that proves you're far superior to humanity?" Gojira growled loudly.
"Have you come back from the dead?" he prompted. Her nostrils flared.
"Impossible!" she scoffed.
"Not really. There's several like me that've done it. My own father accomplished it…sort of. I've done it before as well."
"Obviously your delusional," she sniffed.
"Believe what you will," he told her. "You're obviously not inclined to believe the truth."
"I believe that your whole family is likely screwed up in the head!" she said hotly.
THAT got under Gojira's skin. He growled darkly.
"Look," he ground out, "bizarre it may be, YOU don't have any damn right to criticize my family!" Weiss flinched back at the venom in his voice. "We have our share of sins and slights against us, and our family name marks us for strife and pain, but we bare that weight on our own." He leveled a very furious glare at the blue-eyed heiress. "Unless you can bare the weight of your own family's sins, DON'T insult my family again!"
He scoffed and stood, making his way out of the library. He couldn't stand being the same room as the girl. If he stayed any longer, he may be tempted to give in to the ever-growing desire to end her. But he knew that course of action would open up so many inconveniences for him that he knew it would be best to ignore the annoying girl.
Weiss sat at her table, gaping. She had tried to say something back at the Faunus, but the words died on her tongue. His words hit her hard. Harder than she was willing to admit, even to herself. She just stood there, staring at Gojira's back as he walked out of sight.
Outside the Schnee Manor
He steamed as he stalked through the Schnee gardens. The anger from the Schnee girl refused to be quenched, so he looked for another quiet place to mediate and think. His teeth ground together as he thought about the girl's jabs at his family. Hmph! That lowly piece of human garbage! She was lucky he needed this cover! He took a deep breath and tried to quell the stormy anger he felt.
As he continued walking, he caught the scent of Neela Schnee. Intrigued, he began following the scent until he turned a corner and saw her sitting near a table, a wine glass in hand. She tipped it back and downed the contents easily and placed the glass down gently. Gojira grimaced at the smell of alcohol now mixing with her scent.
"Oh! Mr. Gojira!" Neela called out, surprised. "Klein mentioned you were planning to spend your time between the tests in the library."
Klein was the Schnee family butler. Quite unremarkable for a human, but he respected Gojira's desire for silence and solitude, so the Kaiju was generous enough to remember the man's name at the very least. The Kaiju Faunus grunted in acknowledgement.
"Your daughter needs to learn to control her tongue," he commented, making her scowl.
"Which one this time: Winter or Weiss?"
"The younger."
Neela groaned into her hands. "I swear that girl," she bemoaned. "Oh, why can't that man leave her be? She was perfectly fine before his influence!" she complained, earning the Alpha Monster's attention.
"I assume you're talking of the parasite?" he asked, making the Schnee matriarch let out a bark of laughter.
"That suits him so well!" she giggled into her hand. Sighing, she addressed Gojira, "Yes, I'm referring to Jacques. He's set on grooming my children to be more like him, and so far, he's already corrupted my son!"
"Then why not cut the parasite off?" he questioned.
"I would, had my father's trusting nature not interfered," she grumbled. Gojira blinked in confusion, causing her to elaborate. "Jacques convinced my father, as his health took a turn for the worse, he was the best to lead the Schnee Dust Company in his stead. He agreed and handed control of the company over to him, given Jacques was his best employee and engaged to me at the time."
"And that concerns you how?"
"He signed the whole company to Jacques, meaning if I divorce the bastard, he gets my family's legacy and I won't be able to take it back. Only our kids can claim hold on it now, and Winter's given up her claim to the company when she joined the military. Whitley…" She frowned.
"So, your younger daughter is your last chance to regain it?" the Kaiju deduced, making Neela nod.
"Correct." She sighed dejectedly. "Jacques played me for a fool! I had honestly thought he loved me. Heh. How stupid. He beat me at a game I wasn't even aware I needed to be playing…"
"That's how parasites work," he scoffed. "They know they cannot obtain what they covet in the light, so they skulk in the dark, waiting for a moment of weakness in their prey they can exploit."
"And now I'm forced to play a waiting game," she continued with a scowl, pouring herself more wine. "I cannot appeal to my father; he's comatose right now, and to my constant agony, not long for this world anymore. I'll be surprised if he lives through the weekend. All my other attempts to get my father's legacy out of Jacques's hands have been futile. I'm…all out of options now.
"My only hope right now is Weiss," she continued. "She's rough around the edges, yes, but she's strong willed and driven. She wants to follow in her grandfather's footsteps and be the kind of leader people look up to! Jacques is trying his level best to break her of that!" Neela looked up to Gojira and said, "I apologize for my daughter's brash behavior, but all I ask is that you don't let it color your opinion of her unfavorably."
Gojira stared at her, his face betraying nothing. Finally, he grunted. "I'll give you no guarantees on that front," he told her. "I judge on merits, not words." Neela smiled sadly.
"That's all I ask," she said. "Now then, care to join me?" The Faunus shook his head.
"I care nothing for the scent of alcohol," he commented bluntly. He turned to leave until he remembered something Azusa would say. "Good day," he said swiftly and walked off. Neela smiled.
"Until later, then," she called out.
Gojira made his way through the garden as he contemplated this new information. Obviously, the parasite's web stretched further than he anticipated. Not that he particularly cared, but this led to a major problem for the ancient dinosaur. He did NOT want that leech anywhere NEAR atomic energy. He represented everything the human race had done wrong with that power. The Kaiju King would rather deal with the King Ghidorah and his relative Kaiser Ghidorah at the same time than see the parasite with nuclear energy in his grasp.
"Ah! Good afternoon, Mr. Gojira!" came the cheerful voice of Klein. The physically older man had an easy smile on his face as Gojira turned to him. "I trust everything is to your liking?" he asked. The Alpha Predator grunted.
"Everything is how I expect it to be, if that's what you're asking," he said dully. Klein didn't acknowledge the tone of Gojira's voice; instead, he nodded agreeably.
"Very good! Should any need arise, please do not hesitate to inform me!" the butler commented. "Mrs. Schnee said you were our guest of honor for this week, after all."
"I'll keep that in mind," Gojira growl-sighed as he walked around the man.
"Have a pleasant afternoon, Mr. Gojira!" Klein called after him. The Godzillasaurus Faunus didn't respond as he walked on. He continued into the house where he was stopped by yet another denizen of the house: Whitley Schnee, the youngest.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Gojira," the young man greeted cordially, though not without the barest hint of revulsion in his eyes. "Doctor Polendina wished to remind you the next test is in fifteen minutes."
The Kaiju grunted. "I have not forgotten the man's erratic schedule," he told the child.
"You always seem to be frustrated," Whitley remarked. "What is that?" Gojira sent a dull glare his way.
"That's hardly your business," he growled. He turned to walk away, but Whitley spoke again.
"You're right, of course," he agreed easily. "I apologize for my curiosity, Mr. Gojira. I've met so few Faunus, even less that were given the opportunity to stay at our manor." Gojira looked at him in annoyance.
"I'm sure there's more than enough good reasons behind that," The Monster King growled again. "If the 107th division is to be believed, your father is the biggest."
This caused Whitley to scowl. "What lies would make you believe that?" he asked with a tone.
"Does it truly matter?" the Kaiju asked. "One can look at the man, and anyone with eyes can tell he's a parasite."
"Father saved my grandfather's company!" Whitley informed him with a little heat. "Any fabrication you've heard is most likely propaganda started by the White Fang!"
The Alpha Predator snorted. "Going off what I know of those lowly creatures, I'd be inclined to believe you," he admitted. That brought Whitley up short. Before Gojira could continue, he spoke again.
"You think that low of your own kind?" he asked incredulously. He had never heard of a Faunus hating their own kind before. Said Faunus growl-sighed.
"This is going to be a recurring theme, isn't it?" he grumbled. To Whitley, he commented, "Like I told your sisters, I'M far above those pesky beasts. I may look like them, but I'm far above them." Whitley frowned, unsure how to take that.
"How far, if I may ask?"
"Astronomical," Gojira answered. "My atomic energy? It is power beyond belief, yet I've mastered it when all others failed. Back on my island, the scientists theorized it could power just about anything, and for far longer than any other power source known." He recalled a peculiar piece of information and added, "Maybe even, a viable way to reach the stars." Whitley's eyebrows shot up to his hairline.
"R-Really?!" he exclaimed. "No one's ever been to space before! How is that possible?!" Gojira shrugged.
"I'm not a scientist," he commented.
"S-Still, the fact we could, potentially, reach that point is…" Suddenly, Whitley's eyes widened and he stopped himself. He cleared his throat and said, "Forgive me. I…I got carried away." Gojira scoffed and turned to walk away, not really caring to answer that. So, he decided to walk away from the child.
However, it seemed luck wasn't on his side. Whitley caught up with him and continued, "B-But I must say, that particular piece of information has my curiosity. Would you object to my sitting in on the next session, Mr. Gojira? I wish to see if I can gleam anything worthwhile from it." The Kaiju Faunus wanted to deny him, but found himself grunting.
"I don't control what you do. I do not live here," he told him. Whitley nodded agreeably and walked on ahead, giving the Monster of Monsters his much-wanted solitude. He continued to walk ahead before he frowned deeply.
"What do you want now?" he growled, stopping at a corner to find Weiss leaning against a wall. She didn't answer at first, simply looking down at a vial of Dust in her hands. Gojira continued to glare her way until he scoffed and stared to walk on.
"You said I shouldn't insult your family again unless I could bare the sins of my family," she recounted dully, making him stop. "That's what you said, right?" she asked needlessly, still staring at the vial of Dust in her hand. Gojira looked back at her in irritation.
"I did say something along those lines," he confirmed. "What of it?" She finally looked up at him with a light glare.
"Well," she commented lightly, "despite what you might think…I…am not completely blind to what goes on in my family's company." She sounded hesitant, but she pressed on. "I'm aware my father has…questionable motives at best, but I'm not him. I don't WANT to be him. I want to be ME." She hardened her glare and continued, "He doesn't get to decide the future of the company. I will. And I'll do it on MY terms, not his. I know what he's done, and I know the sins he piles on my family name. But, in order to bring honor back to my family's name, and rebuild what my grandfather strove so hard to build, I'm willing to do whatever it takes!"
She pushed off of the wall and strode over to him and pointed the Dust vial at his face. "So, yeah, I know the feeling of my family's sins crawling on my back! Now let me tell you something: keep insulting me, and we won't be throwing around insults like in the library! I'll take Myrtenaster and show you the meaning of respect!" She glared up at his impassive face, daring him to say something else.
So, the Schnee heiress was surprised when he smirked and chuckled out loud. "Well, well," he growled in delight. "It would appear you do have some fangs under those lips! Perhaps your mother's faith in you is not misplaced."
Weiss was confused by what he meant by that, but she didn't get a chance to ask as he spoke again: "At any rate, I…suppose I can keep my opinions to myself…provided, of course, you do the same." Weiss narrowed her eyes at him as she thought over his response.
Finally, she nodded. "I can agree to that," she said. She held out her hand. "Shake on it?" Gojira grunted and took her hand into his own. With a firm shake, their hands parted. "Now then, I must be going. I have a lot to prepare for before I leave for Beacon Academy. Good day to you." With her piece said, she turned and walked away.
Gojira watched her go. He hummed in thought. "So, the parasite's hold only extends to the boy, huh?" he mused. He thought about his recent encounter with the child and grinned as a peculiar idea raced into his head.
"How…interesting…"
An: So? Any good? Let me know in the reviews! But first, here are the omakes!
Omake 1: Mosura and the Mistral tournament
Part 2
Mosura frowned as she walked through the halls of the tournament grounds. She didn't sense Goji-kun's energy. Was he not here? That would be disappointing. She traveled all the way to Mistral to find him just to discover he wasn't there. She could already see how disappointed his sons would be to find him not here.
The Monster Queen prepared to turn a corner to make her way to the stadium when she accidently bumped into someone. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "My apologies! I was not paying attention to where I was heading!"
"No! No! It's my fault! I'm sorry!" the girl, no older than her physical age, apologized. "I was in a rush and…" Her voice died, looking behind her quickly. Mosura blinked and leaned to the side. All she saw were more humans and Faunus.
"Attention: will Derek Blackbird and Mosura please make their way to the arena, please," an announcer called out. Mosura looked up at the intercom and sighed. She turned to the human before her.
"Well, I must be off. Farewell," she said as she walked around the girl.
"O-Oh, ok!" the girl answered. She turned and waved at the Kaiju. "Good luck!" Mosura turned and smiled with a nod.

Pyrrha Nikos smiled apologetically as the girl walked towards the arena. Her appearance didn't denounce her as a fighter, but she knew looks could be very deceiving. Something told her that girl would be interesting to fight.
She began to walk off when she froze in her tracks, foot hovering above the ground. 'That girl…' she thought.

"…And now, without further ado, let's introduce the Mistral Regional Tournament's first round of fighters!" the announcer shouted, earning ear-splitting cheers from the audience. "Now then! Derek Blackbird and Mosura, please step into the ring!"
Mosura walked forward to meet the man named Derek Blackbird. He was short redhead with dark eyes, wearing a sleeveless black shirt and jeans. A large battle axe rested on his shoulders. He smiled at Mosura in a friendly manner. "Good luck, Miss!" he said. Mosura smiled back at him.
"To you as well," she said back and bowed. The cheering grew louder.
"Now how's that for good sportsmanship?!" the announcer called out loudly. "Now, without further ado, let the first match of the Mistral Regional Tournament…Begin!"
"You might want to pull your weapon out for this!" Derek warned as he raced towards the moth Faunus, axe raised high. Mosura blinked and raised her hand up in the air and grabbed the axe head effortlessly, shocking everyone. The Monster Queen simply raised her hand and fired off her Beam Pulser. The yellow beam of energy hit and shattered his Aura in one go. With a startled yelp, Derek flew out of the ring and slammed against the wall.
The tournament grounds were silent. After a moment of silence, the announcer grinned widely and shouted, "NOW HOW'S THAT FOR A FIRST MATCH, PEOPLE?!" The crowd stood and roared in response. "IT WOULD SEEM MISS MOSURA OF VACUUO IS A POWERHOUSE! ONE ATTACK, AND SHE HAS DROPPED HER OPPONENT'S AURA IN THE RED AND KNOCKS HIM OUT OF THE RING!"
Mosura blinked at her smoking hand. "I think I used too much power…" she mused.
Up in the stands, Minilla and Jr were laughing loudly. "Way to go, Mosura!" Minilla called out.
"Way to show 'em how a Kaiju does things!" Jr cheered with a smirk.
"Mother…" Leo groaned quietly. "You said you weren't going to show off…"
Meanwhile, in another section of the stands, a group of dinosaur Faunus were doing a double take at what they saw.
"THIS is that same cheerful girl we met in Vale?" Cera asked incredulously.
"Oooh, now me feel glad I didn't sign up for this tournament!" Petrie mumbled, unknowingly using his old speech impediment.
"Now it makes sense why she's Gojira's friend," Spike commented simply. "That was something else." Bron agreed.
Rexy laughed darkly. "Now I wanna fight her!" She grinned madly. "I want to see how she measures up to Gojira!"
"Oooooooooh! I knew this would happen! I knew! I knew!" Duckie whined.
Blue just yawned. "You're too loud, Old One," she complained.

Omake 2: Two tigresses for one apprentice
Coco sighed as she leaned against the counter at Magnolia's. It was a slow day, and very few people were actually showing up. Juniper was in the back organizing new inventory, and her team was off getting food for the both.
Yatsuhashi was kind of disappointed in her for skipping lunch…again.
The company Scroll rang, making the fashionista smile at the fact that she now had something to do. She moved the Scroll over to her and saw it was a video call. Opening it up, she said, "Hello. This is Magnolia's; how may I help you?" The woman on the screen was a dead ringer for Juniper, with a dark fur collared coat and longer hair.
The woman narrowed her eyes. "Yes, I'm looking for my sister Juniper," she said. "Is she in?"
"Oh! So you're one of her sisters?!" Coco was delighted by this. "She's told me all about you girls! She's in the back right now organizing the new inventory, but she should be back up soon. I'm Coco, by the way. Coco Adel, her part time employee."
"Rowan," the eldest Magnolia greeted. "And what's this about you being her part time employee? When could she afford to hire one?"
"I work for the experience, not the money," Coco answered, already having answered this question a hundred times. "I'm a Huntress in training, so money is no issue for me." At that, Rowan's face dropped.
"A Huntress, huh?" she muttered. "So, it wasn't just him Juni's failing…"
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Coco asked as Juniper walked back to the front office.
"Hey, Coco. I'm done in the back; if you want you can go-Oh, Rowan! You called?!" Juniper exclaimed, noticing her big sister calling her. She raced over to Coco and pressed her face into the holo-screen. "It's been forever since you've called! How's Atlas?! Got any designs you need a second opinion on?! How've you been?!" she asked excitedly.
"I've been well, thank you!" came the dry reply of her sister. "And I'm calling today to call YOU out on your failures with a certain client of yours!"
"'Failure?!'" Juniper screeched in outrage, shocking Coco. "I'll have you know that my clients are whole-heartedly satisfied with my work!"
"Maybe. But I just had a very interesting customer walk into my shop and think I was you," Rowan explained. "And while you did a great job, sis, you forgot the first thing I taught you: Never forget the Huntsman's symbol!"
"You're STILL on that tripe?!" Juniper growled. "If they didn't ask, I didn't pressure them! Your rule 4, if I recall correctly!"
"Any idiot can look at that guy and know he's a Huntsman, sister dear!" Rowan bit back. "Rule 15: Observe your customer, recommend proper treatment!"
Coco was so lost right now. "Juniper, what the heck are you two talking about?" she asked.
"AND you didn't bother to TEACH your apprentice the Rules of Fashion?!" Rowan screeched, making Coco wince at the volume.
"Those 'rules' are your own stupid design, NOT actual guidelines to follow!" Juniper growled.
"They're important!" the elder sister shouted, throwing her hands up in exasperation. "How can you expect to be a great fashion designer if you can't even train your apprentice right?!"
"Wait, when am I an apprentice?" Coco tried to ask, but she was ignored.
"You don't have ANY right to criticize my teaching abilities! Not since your apprentice ran out on you!"
"That was Mimosa's fault, and you know it!"
"Oh, sure! Blame it on our little sisters! THAT always goes over well!"
The argument heated up from there, leaving Coco so bemused that she didn't hear her team come in the store. Velvet, Fox, and Yatsuhashi blinked at the screaming match of Juniper and some lady on a holo-screen. "Um…" Fox called out, making Coco turn to them.
"Oh, hey guys!" she greeted with a wave. "Come pull up a seat and enjoy!"
"Coco, what did you do?" Velvet asked with a deadpan.
"Absolutely nothing!" Coco said back with some heat. "I answered a call, which happened to be Juniper's older sister, and they just started arguing."
"About…?" Yatsuhashi asked.
"Search me. I can't make out anything in the conversation."
"…And yet you're still leading that poor girl down the wrong path!"
"Do you even hear yourself right now?! You sound like I've committed a crime!"
"You know what?! Let's settle this another way!" Rowan snarled. "We both train her! For three months. Then at the end, she'll decide who's better!" Juniper looked at her sister.
"Typical stakes on the table?" she asked.
"Of course."
"Good." Juniper nodded before grabbing Coco and dragging her in front of the holo-screen. The leader of Team CVFY squeaked at the sudden motion, causing her team to snicker at her cute reaction. She made sure to glare at them, promising humiliating retribution should this ever get out.
"Coco Adel," Juniper said hardly. "As of today, you are the apprentice of the two eldest Magnolia sisters, and we will be training you in everything we know for three months!" Coco blinked in shock.
"Expect my calls more frequently than normal, Juni," Rowan commented.
"Just don't be shocked when she picks me, Rowy!" Juniper said back.
"What the heck is happening here?" Coco whined, completely and totally lost.

Omake 3: Head slam
Sometime after Gojira and Tarakona's fight
"Well, I must say that, that was quite the spectacle!" Felicia laughed as she patted an irate Coco on the head. "And I got to see the cute little would be Huntress Coco-Puff in action!"
"Don't call me 'Coco-Puff,' Feli!" Coco growled, trying to remove the elder Huntress's hand from her head.
"But it suits you!" Felicia teased.
"No, it doesn't!" she grumbled as she finally broke free of Felicia's grasp, cheeks turning red at the sound of her teams' laughter at her nickname. She turned to them, only to see a shadow pass over her. Looking up, she saw the Faunus, Altair, standing in front of her with a serious expression.
She couldn't but be weirded out slightly. "Um…can I help…?" Her sentence died as Altair's head raced forward and collided with her own. She cried out as she fell to the ground.
"Coco!" her team screamed, only for the other woman, Bonnie, to laugh.
"Don't worry, you three. She's fine!" she reassured. "That's just Alt's way of saying he trusts you!" To accent the point, Altair turned around and walked up to Yatsuhashi and headbutted him as well. The young Huntsman grunted in pain and fell to one knee, holding his forehead.
Fox tried to back up, but Altair proved faster and slammed his head into Fox's just as he took a step back. Fox cried out as he fell backwards. Velvet tensed in distress as Altair walked up to her. She closed her eyes and tensed, but when she felt a light tap on her forehead, she opened her eyes to see Altair straightening up and walking towards Gojira, who had just returned from whatever he was doing.
"No more Red Son idiots around," he growled as Altair came to a stop in front of him. He narrowed his eyes at the Faunus. "What?" he growled again.
Altair headbutted him, making the King of Monster's head fly back. Gojira blinked owlishly at the Faunus. Felicia laughed at his expression.
"You'll have to forgive Alt, Goji!" the woman chortled. "Altair does that-"
She didn't finish on account of Gojira's eyes narrowing dangerously. With a loud snarl, The Alpha Predator returned the headbutt, sending the Carnotaurus Faunus flying backwards. Altair grunted in pain as he slid backwards on his back.
Felicia blinked. "Wow," she breathed. "I've never seen anyone send Altair flying like that…" She shrugged. "Though, all things considered, I shouldn't be surprised…"
Urdin walked up to the fallen Faunus and knelt next to him. He laughed manically. "Alty's out cold!" he giggled madly as he poked the fallen Faunus with the muzzle of his weapon.

And now…
Sneak peeks for The God of Destruction comes to Remnant
"Well! I must be off!" the man exclaimed. "I haven't talked to my old chum Nicky in years! Ta ta, for now!"
"Surrrreeeeeeee," Gojira said in an awkward tone as the man walked off. Just who was that guy?
And seriously, why, out of ALL the colors of the spectrum, would any sane man dye his mustache PINK?
[]
"Why are you making it harder for the Faunus?!" Blake asked irately.
"And how am I doing that, exactly?" Gojira growled back. "Because the way I see it, the Faunus are doing a pretty good job of that on their own!"
[]
"YOU!" Adam roared as he brandished Wilt at the Godzillasaurus Faunus. Gojira just blinked in confusion.
"Do I know you?" he asked.
[]
"I never asked for these powers," Amber admitted. "But at the same time, I don't hate that I got them either. I like helping those who can't help themselves!"
"That power…" Gojira muttered as she walked off. "Why does it seem so familiar…?"
[]
"BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S RIGHT ANYMORE!" Emerald shouted, continuing her frenzied assault on the Kaiju. "I'M BEING PULLED IN TWO DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, AND I DON'T KNOW WHICH I WANT TO GO!"
"Then stop thinking, and start REACTING!" Gojira snarled as he slammed his tail into her side.
[]
"This will be your field test, my creation," Salem said with a smile. "Your task is simple: Kill your daughter, and return her body to me. Do you understand?"
"…Yes, Mistress…I do…"
[]
Ruby glared at the odd Grimm before her. "I don't know if you're listening, Salem!" she hissed, her eyes glowing brightly. "But if you are, I want you to know that I won't stop. I'll eliminate any obstacle you set in front of me. I don't care if you're immortal! I'll find a way to end you!"
[]
"Gojira…" Mosura breathed in, folding her hands together in front of her chest. "…My King…"
[]
"…Long Live the King…"
