The next night, Klaus arrived in town, having found out that she was still alive, so he captured her. He then had her put in the hospital with a compelled nurse, telling her to take her blood for him.
When Damon found out that Klaus had taken her, he was angry, but had found out that Klaus' fear was his step-father, Mikael, so he found out that Mikael was chained inside a mausoleum in a cemetery. He then went there, found a way to wake him up, unchained him, and made a deal with him to help defeat him.
Once Damon found Klaus in a parking lot, he stood a short distance away, being smart to not be too close.
"Where is she?" he demanded angrily.
"Oh, Katerina? She's making her donations," Klaus informed him, calling her by another form of Katherine.
Damon blurred over and tossed him, making him land on the hood of a car. Then he pinned him there and, after some bantering, and after mentioning that he knows where Mikael is, Klaus growled in anger, but was secretly in fear as he said, "You're bluffing."
"Am I?" Damon replied. "Let's find out." Then Damon blurred off to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Kat woke up, feeling weak, only to find a nurse taking blood from her. She saw that she was in the hospital, but weak or not, she knew she was in danger. It wasn't just because of remembering that she'd been found by Klaus. It was because she knew it wasn't normal for a nurse to have taken so much of her blood. She also knew that she was too weak to fight anyone. All she could do was plead.
"Please...," she pleaded with the nurse.
"I'm sorry, dear. I have to for your friend, Klaus."
She saw the nurse use a syringe on her. Then everything went black.
As soon as he arrived, he hunted down his present love, looking in each room. Luckily, she was on the first level, so it didn't take long to find her. And once he found her, he walked into the room. He then stood at her left bedside, looking at the tube of blood attached to her arm, before disconnecting her. Then he slid an arm under her, his other under her legs, and gently pulled her into his arms, before heading out with her, going home.
When she woke up, she saw that she was in bed at Damon's, him seated on her bedside, a bottle of water on the end table.
"Hey," he greeted.
She slowly sat up in bed and took a drink from the bottle, before looking at him.
"Where were you, Damon?"
"I'm sorry. I had to find Mikael. We need him to take down Klaus. It took a little longer than I thought, but he's on our side. He'll kill him for us," he explained. He then rested a hand on her left one. "I promise you, I will never leave you again," he sincerely added.
She gave a smile, which he returned.
"Good," she replied.
