It must be a routine of me now do try and get these out every 3 months, which is honestly something I didn't want to happen. But I'll still keep going! Hopefully the next update being sooner than ever. Hope you guys are doing well, I know I am. So let's get onto the reviews from last chapter!
.
Guest (1): I'll probably mention of how Yusuke went SSJ2, but maybe not doing an actual section of it.
Guest Reviewer "saiyan fan": Happy Independance Day to you too! Life's is meh, but I get by haha. Honestly, I kind of wish they won't allow Goku to achieve MUI (Mastered Ultra Instinct) so easily without some actual scenes of him trying to train towards it, and not have it be just a few episodes. Pre-MUI was good, and I liked it more than MUI because Pre-MUI Goku actually had to be careful. Like his fight against Kefla. MUI just seemed like another powerhouse transformation, and Jiren made it look just like that since he was able to directly hit MUI Goku a few times in the state both of them were in. You might as well just make Goku stand up to Jiren and giving him a challenge while in SSJBKK. But MUI looks amazing though, I'll give it that.
wweBeast2015: Lol nah, I'm sticking by with what I said in the past that Yusuke won't achieve SSJ3.
FrancisVamp0822: Lmaoo no, I don't want to risk it too much, and it might turn some away haha. But thank you either way, here I am again!
BGaming901: Your prediction was right, there's a DBH anime, but it's really just some 10 minute promo video. I've seen the first one, but hey, it's Dragonball nonetheless. I'll talk about it after this chapter. I've said this before in past chapters, the RWBYverse will start after this story is done.
LifeByTheCreed: Thank you very much! I do plan on keeping up with this story, and I keep saying it'll be updated often but I keep failing at that. Hopefully people are happy with an update either way. Reading back on it now, I do agree, I should've put in Yusuke remembering how Trunks has helped him so much up to that point where he cannot fail him. It definitely would have a bigger impact. I do have this story and plot planned out as far as the end of the GMG Arc, and there a lot of big things happening that I hope readers will get a kick out of. Godlike powers ARE involved.
Elvisfonz23: Thanks for the review once more! Hope you're doing alright too dude. Hope you enjoy this chapter as well!
Guest Reviewer "fairy saiyan": Oh my, that's quite the imagination you got there. I approve, haha.
ShadowHunter19288: ...Who knows?
Guest Reviewer "SaiyanV5000": If I ever do decide to actually end the series, I'll make sure to do so, you can count on that. Of course, if I'm not involved in some kind of freak accident in real life. Until then, I plan to have this done. I promise. And I think that you happened to be SaiyanV500 who guest reviewed as well so I'll respond to that as well. I've taken the Dark Dragonballs into consideration and it's a good idea. I'm on the fence about having the FT characters being absurdly strong to a point that they could even stand up to Cell or even Majin Buu because where would the uniqueness of them go now? I feel like having Erza and Mirajane being trained by Yusuke/Marissa is enough already, it wouldn't be as interesting if the entire guild or others are just the same, being strong beyond belief to normal eyes.
However, it's a very good story off to the side if I ever decide to branch out again into another story without having it on hiatus lol, but as far as the Core-FTXV series go, I don't feel comfortable doing that. It's more of, say, using the current tools the wizards has already to try and fight for there lives is what I want to delve into if Yusuke/Marissa/Ann isn't there to help them out. Then that would make things more interesting in my view. I do want to take that and make it happen since it was a good idea from another guest reviewer from awhile ago, so all the attention isn't towards the Time Patrollers/DB Characters every single chapter.
NacNak: Your review of saying something good is enough, and I appreciate it haha. We'll just have to keep looking forward to the DBS movie this December!
devo3331000: Hmm, not sure when Beerus of Whis might be showing up... :p
Guest Reviewer "Statess": ...maybe not a Goku who's omnipotent lol.
.
Through the time between last chapter and this chapter I keep getting emails from those who decided to favorite and follow my story, so I'm really, really grateful that you're all doing so and that you guys enjoy my story. That's what matters to me, and it's enough for me to keep going. I have so many ideas in my head that I want to put in and write, but it's the matter of actually getting the time for the effort for myself. I'll keep this up ya'll, don't worry.
Onwards!
A rowdy bunch of Fairy Tail members had their daily routines of sitting within the guild with other guildmates, all drinking, eating and conversing with one another. Members were constantly entering and leaving the guild as soon as they finished their jobs and went out to do more. While some were working hard at this moment for an upcoming trial approaching, others were simply lounging around, relaxing.
Over at one booth, two Time Patroller's were sitting across from each other. Ann was currently eating her fill for the late morning as a stack of plates and bowls were already piled up next to her. Marissa had a stack as well, of pancakes in front of her that is. She was leisurely savoring them along with a cup of hot chocolate to complement the current winter weather going on right now.
Just a few minutes prior, some time after Marissa had finished training Erza and Mirajane earlier in the morning, Yusuke was pulled away by the redhead as they headed out of the guild. When asked by the Earthling where they were going, Erza simply answered that she wishes to spend time with him for the day. From the bar, Mirajane didn't miss Erza's action of pulling their boyfriend away, but decided to let it be for now until they came back.
"Y'know, we should get to know the other people here." Marissa suggested towards Ann, but all she got in response was a look from the female Saiyan before she went back to eating. "Ann, c'mon…"
"You're free to do whatever you want, Mari. But don't expect me to play along." Ann said after finishing another plate and wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
"Don't be sour like that Ann…" Marissa whined as she set her silverware down for a moment before taking a look around.
When she did so, she looked at the other various members inside the guild. There was Wakaba and Macao, along with Romeo, Macao's son, sitting at one booth a ways away. Bickslow, Freed, and Evergreen by one of the pillars at the other side of the guild. Gray talking to another person, but she also caught Juvia hiding behind a pillar, doing her usual stalking.
Then, looking over at the bar, she saw Cana and as usual she was downing some alcohol. A few stool away from her though, she saw Levi and Lucy talking to each other. The Earthling stared at them for awhile before she looked away, but didn't know that Levy caught her gaze.
"How about hanging out with Lucy? You two seem to have gotten along." Marissa suggested.
"..." Ann didn't respond, but slowed down her pace in eating from one of her bowls. When she didn't Marissa simply sighed and resumed in eating.
As they both continued eating, from the corner of Marissa's eyes she spotted Lucy coming up towards them. Without looking, Ann sensed the blonde coming, but didn't make any gestures of acknowledging her and continued to eat slowly.
"Hey guys! How are your mornings so far?" Lucy asked with enthusiasm.
"It's good Lucy, thanks for asking. How about yours?" Marissa greeted, and asked the same question back.
"It's been fine, an off today too so I'm not worried about taking a job any time soon." Lucy said, and soon clasped her hands behind her back. "Say, do you two want to do something? I was just talking with Levy and we were going to head to the local library. Do you both want to come with us?"
"Hey, that sounds great. How about it, Ann?" Marissa asked, along with the blonde looking at the female Saiyan.
Ann sighed, and set her plate down on the table. "You're not going to let up, are you?"
"Nope."
The Female Saiyan sighed again, somewhat heavily this time with her eyes closed. "Fine…"
"Awesome!" Marissa cheered, and off to the side, Lucy smiled at her answer.
"That's great! We're gonna be going shortly, I'm sure it'll be fun." Lucy happily said.
Upon reaching a building, Levy, Lucy, Marissa, and Ann all stopped briefly with both the Time Patrollers observing it briefly. It was primarily made up of stone with wooden windows and doors, the shape the building held seemed to comprise of three dome-shaped structures merged together with the middle of it, where they were currently standing in front of, was larger than the other two from its side.
"Here we are!" Lucy chirped.
"Are there any books you might be interested in?" Levy said with a smile.
"Hmm…I'm not sure to be honest. Maybe something with some action in it." Marissa pondered.
"I want to look for some kind of map of this world first. Get a lay of the land." Ann said.
"That's… a good idea actually."
"An atlas? They've got plenty." Levy said.
"What about you guys? What are you two going to be looking for?" Marissa asked.
"It's more of what she wants. I'm just going to be helping her look for some material of a novel Lu's writing." Levy answered, pointing and looking at Lucy.
"You're a writer? I didn't know that."
"I-It's nothing special… but it sucks to have some writer's block. Just looking for some inspiration." Lucy said, rubbing the back of her neck from slight embarrassment.
"Anything in particular you're looking for thought?" Ann asked.
"if anything... similar to what Marissa wants to look for, something with action in it."
"Why don't we head on in? I'm sure something will catch our eyes." Levy said.
With a nod of compliance from everyone else, they all headed inside the library at long last. Upon entering, the smell of books was the first thing they noticed, and the next thing they saw were the decorated and the beautifully carved wooden interior that was built mostly through the inside of the buildings. There were decorations up on the domed-shaped ceiling with windows to shed light and on the walls that hugged the structure with other types of walls that made rooms, which were mostly built from wooden frames and plaster. Some parts of the floor were stone tiles with other parts being wood and carpet.
"Oh wow…! This is beautiful!" Marissa exclaimed.
"Right? Apart from the guild's library, this is one of my other favorite places to just get away." Levy said.
"Even I still get amazed whenever I come here as well, it's just so pretty to look at." Lucy said.
'Wow… this place is amazing…' Ann inwardly thought in awe as she continued looking around. There was the reception just by the side near where they entered and looking ahead were many shelves filled to the brim with books of different sizes and other rooms that one could enter where no doubt, there are other shelves of books or tables that one person or a group of people can go to sit down.
"Where should we start?" Marissa asked.
"I think I know where, cmon." Levy said, and began leading the others further into the library. As she did so, Levy waved at several people within that greeted her, knowing that she comes to the local library often.
Levy lead them all to another room that was towards the right side of the building, and within it were more shelves of books that they could see. There were a few other people already inside as well, either looking for a book or just reading while standing up.
"This section probably has what you need, some action-filled stuff. Of course, if you want to explore somewhere else, go right ahead." Levy said.
"Thanks Levy!" Marissa said as her and Lucy took off to the shelves.
"You wanted to take a look at an Atlas, right? C'mon, let me show you where it is." Levy said, and gestured her arm towards Ann to follow her.
Leaving Marissa and Lucy inside the room, Levy led Ann to another part of the library. This time, it was near where there were an abundant of long tables in the middle of the building with several people sitting in chairs, either reading books or doing their own type of work. There were, of course, shelves nearby and the blue-haired petite led the female Saiyan into an aisle.
"It should be here somewhere, i think… hopefully it wasn't moved by someone else." Levy said, scanning the books. After looking up and down and around her, she recognized an old, yellow-ish book just a couple of shelves above her, and reached up to grab it. "Here it is, one of them at least."
It was a moderate-sized, hard-covered book, not too slim or too thick. The designs on it was simple as it had lines going through it horizontally and vertically with them warping towards the edges of the book. Specks of faded black liquid were splattered throughout the cover, not too large that it took most of the attention, and a small arrowed compass with the letters N, W, S, and E on it, indicating the basic directions.
"How about we go to a table and look at it? I can show you where we are on it and guide through the rest of it." Levy suggested.
"Sure, go ahead and I'll follow again." Ann nodded.
They did just that as Levy led Ann to a nearby table, and they both sat down. Levy opened up the book near the beginning of it, and showed a two paged picture of a large oval that was no doubt, Earthland.
A majority of it was colored in a slightly blue color that was the ocean, and from what Ann could see, there were three lands. One small that was off to the left side of the world, one bigger than the first on the opposite side of the oval, and then right in the middle was one, very large land right in between the two other continents. Then of course, there are small islands scattered throughout the ocean that were labeled as well.
'It's kind of similar to Earth… not an exact replica of course.' Ann thought in her head.
"Here we are, on Ishgar." Levy tapped the right of the map, the East side of the world where there was a clear indication of a peninsula connecting to the other part of the land. "We've quite a few continents around the world as well, like Alakitasia here."
Levy then pointed to another part of the land, just west of Ishgar. They were practically neighbors with how close they were.
"And obviously, each of the continents have several countries within them." Levy said, and flipped the pages of the book, close to the middle of it and it opened up to show Ishgar itself, with all of its countries labeled.
The one to catch Ann's eye was obviously Fiore in its own peninsula. Connecting to Fiore were two other countries, Seven and Bosco. Other countries that were shown on the page were Iceberg, Stella, Joya, Bellum, Sin, Enca, Desierto, Minstrel, Midi, Caelum, and then the Pergrande Kingdom all the way to the right of all the other countries.
'A lot of weird names for countries…' Ann idly thought in her head. "And the rest of Earthland is in this book?"
"Yup, go ahead and take your time. I'm gonna go check on the others to see how they're doing. We'll come to you if we're finished." Levy said as she started walking away, but stopped her movements after taking a few steps to look back at Ann. "Or y'know, come to us if you're finished instead."
"...I appreciate it, Levy." Ann simply said as she glanced at the blue-haired girl before looking back at the Atlas.
Smiling, Levy turned around once again to look for Marissa and Lucy where she first led them.
"Hmm…" Marissa scanned the top shelves but so far, none had piqued her interest of what she wanted to read. "The scrolls were better than these…"
The Earthling looked to her left to see Lucy grabbing a book and flipping through it. She went over to her to see what she had picked up, and looked over her shoulder.
"Found something?" Marissa asked.
"Hm… yeah, it's something at least." Lucy responded, flipping another page, and then sighed. "Writer's block sure does suck… but I think I have an idea now."
"What's your book about anyway?"
"It's really just all my adventures I've had with everyone in Fairy Tail. Though it's a lot more exciting now compared from the very first few missions I took when I first joined the guild."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Yusuke, obviously. He joined shortly after I did, and being in the same team with him up to this point has been… pretty thrilling." Lucy explained, closing up the book and putting it back in the spot where she found it.
"I know he reserved himself when he explained his time here before Ann and I came whenever he went out with you guys."
"He's kind of right on that. Some missions we took he'd usually stay back and watch. Only time he'd do something was whenever one of us was in trouble. Of course, that's not including all the major things that we got ourselves into, it was just the simple missions." Lucy continued, with her and Marissa walking next to the shelves as the blonde continued observing any books catching her eye. "It's still pretty hectic, thinking back all that's happened so far. He's done a lot for the guild."
"What was your first impression of him?"
"I thought he was already part of the guild when he first came in with Erza. Even thinking they were both already in a relationship. But it was totally the opposite, it was gonna be him joining the guild for the first time ever, and Erza was blushing when everyone was asking her questions about him." Lucy chuckled at the memory. "Natsu and everyone else was describing her as some sort of monster not to mess with. In a way they're kind of right, you shouldn't mess with her, I'm sure you've seen why."
"Hehe, yeah. She can straighten everybody out just like that. It's funny seeing it every time. It's been really fun here on Earthland though, it definitely takes off the tension when nothing is happening." Marissa said, pulling out a book from the shelf to skim through it.
"Let me ask you something this time actually, what is it like back in your world? It's gotta be a lot more different than here."
"In some cases yeah, but Earth and Earthland are more similar than you think."
"Really?"
"Yeah, the ocean and sky is blue, white and gray clouds, green environment of the ecosystem as well."
"Besides those." Lucy laughed.
"I guess you guys as well being mages. There are a lot of people who utilize their energy every day… actually maybe there's not that much. Your world is pretty boring compared to mine now that I think about it." Marissa said, turning a page of the book in her hands.
"How about the differences then?"
"Oh, now that I can list a few. You guys have carts on horses to transport around in or using those vehicles to link your magic to move. Other than flying with our Ki, we have actual vehicles than can be operated by a person, either on the ground or in the air."
"In the air?!" Lucy surprisingly said out loud, but quickly covered her mouth and looked around to see a few people look their way for a moment before going back to their business.
"Oh yeah, they're called airplanes, it can carry a lot of people at once to get to one place to another. Even the cars themselves can be driven in the air, they just gotta be careful though."
"Wow… only other thing we have are the trains."
"We still have those too, ones underground and above ground. Earthland is pretty much a really watered down version of Earth, our technology is really advanced if you compared the two." Marissa said, now closing the book she grabbed and putting it back where it was. "Oh, maybe when we're done with everything, you and Levy could come by at our apartment, I have something you might be interested to look at."
"...what is it?" Lucy cautiously asked.
"You'll have to come by and check it out, hehe." Marissa giggled.
"Hey you two, found anything?" Levy's voice was heard to the side, and they both look to see her walking up to them.
"Hey Levy, not much actually. Nothing that I'd use anyway." Lucy said.
"Did Ann find what she was looking for?" Marissa asked.
"Yeah, she's just sitting down looking at it." Levy said, pointing with her thumb behind her.
"I think we're pretty much done here. How about we go to Ann and see if she found anything interesting?" Lucy suggested.
"Did you find what you were looking for?"
"No, but I'll think of something later. I wouldn't want to be here all day." The blonde responded with a smile.
"Come on, let's head on back to where Ann is." Levy said, and walked out of the room they were in with the other two girls behind her.
It didn't take long for all three of them to spot the female Saiyan sitting at the far end of the long tables, flipping through a page before resting her head on a hand. However, her head tilted to side, feeling the three girls approaching her.
"Find anything?" Marissa asked, resting her hands on the table next to her. Levy and Lucy arrived just behind them.
"... nothing that stands out. Though that's a given since we don't know too much about this planet's history. Other than that, it's more information about the layout of the world. We should probably take some time to fly around for a day to get a personal view of it… I wonder if Tarok took the time as well." Ann said, flipping back a few pages of the book to look at them once more for a long moment before closing the book.
"I was gonna show off some of my toys back at the apartment when we're done here."
"By your toys, do you mean that junk in your backpack?" Ann said, standing up as she picked the book up to put it back in its spot.
"It's not junk!" Marissa bursted out, stomping one of her feet on the ground. But a short moment later she quietly cursed to herself and covered her mouth as she looked around. Several people were staring at her either confusingly or irritatingly before going back to their own business. "Sorry…!"
"She wants to show us something?" Levy whispered over to Lucy.
"Apparently so, but I'm not sure what." Lucy replied with a shrug.
"There's not much else for me to look at. I suppose we'll go back now." Ann said.
"Hehe, I can't wait. This'll be fun." Marissa said with a grin.
Yusuke's apartment door was opened up as Marissa went in first with Lucy, Levy, and Ann following behind her.
"You know, I've never been in here actually." Lucy commented.
"Me neither." Levy said, looking around.
It was rather barren inside the apartment from their eyes. A large rug was beneath a few furnitures and a table on the carpet floor, there were simple sand colored drapes or the two visible windows and a couple of drawers with a few picture frames on top of them. They spotted a kitchen to their right and two doors that were slightly closed on their left, most likely the bedrooms they assumed.
"The only other people that probably came here were Erza and Mira." Levy said with a chuckle.
"I don't doubt that." Lucy sweatdropped with a slight blush, and saw Marissa going into one of the bedroom doors to the left.
"You make it sound like as if they've had sex before." Ann said, walking past the two mages to sit on the couch, her arms spread out while having the table support her feet.
"That's… exactly what it sounds like." Levy blinked. "Oh…"
"...what?"
"What?!" Marissa shouted from her and Ann's bedroom and poked her head out with a visible blush. "Y-You mean t-they h-had… s-s-se-"
"I guess he didn't tell…" Lucy uneasily said.
"Of course not Lu! It's not something you can just casually say! Why would he in the first place?!" Levy pointed out.
"So… it sounds like it's not that much of a secret that they...well, you know…" Ann tried to say.
"No, not really… I think they tried to in the first place, until Natsu snuffed them out when they came back from that S-class mission they were assigned to." Lucy explained.
"Everybody was in the guild by the time that happened to… so, yeah, basically everyone knows." Levy added in.
"Here I thought they confessed to each other and kissed each other on the lips… I didn't think they went that far…" Marissa said from the other room while sounds of rummaging can be heard.
"Maybe we should move onto another subject… this is getting kinda awkward." Lucy suggested.
"I agree." Ann promptly said, and looked over to her bedroom. "Like the junk Mari wants to show us."
"Screw you! I said it's not junk!" Marissa shouted, and then gasped. "Aha!"
The Earthling stepped out of the bedroom to the living room where everyone else was at. Ann could clearly see a device in Marissa's hands as she went over to sit down next to her. As Marissa flopped onto the seat next to her friend, she couldn't help but get giddy while tapping her thumbs on the rectangular device that Lucy and Levy saw.
From Ann's point of view, the screen on Marissa's device lit up to a picture of stuffed animals on a bed that she recognized from going to her place in TokiToki City several times. It blurred when she pressed a button on the bottom center of the device so that it showed numbers from zero to nine, and there were six dots above it. She inputted six numbers into it by tapping the screen, and it transitioned to another screen where little rounded squares popped up. Looking past those, she saw a different picture than the one before on the background. This time, it was a picture of TokiToki, the long-living bird itself looking rather confusedly towards the camera with its head slightly tilted on the grass.
"What is that?" Levy asked.
"This neat little thing," Marissa started, and emphasized how her device wasn't junk when she looked at Ann, who simply looked away while rolling her eyes. "Is called a cell phone! Pretty popular back in the City, almost everyone has one."
"A cell phone…?" Lucy questioned.
"Yeah! Here, the two of you stand still real quick." Marissa hopped off the couch and stood in front of Lucy and Levy. Both of them were a little confused but they heard a quick snapping shot and quickly realized what was going on.
"Ah! Did you take a picture of us?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Hehe, that I did."
"I wasn't ready!"
"You're not going to share it anywhere, are you?" Levy timidly asked.
"Oh your both fine, you look great! Here." Marissa gestured her arm at the two to come closer, and they did so hastily. They were both on either side of the Earthling looking over her shoulder just in time for Marissa to tap on the screen over a square, and the picture of both Lucy and Levy appeared. "Pfft, okay, you two do look kinda silly."
"Ugh…" Lucy whined.
"Don't worry, it's safe kept with me. Oh! How about taking one together with all three of us!"
"Is Ann going to take it?" Levy questioned.
"Don't involve me with that junk." Ann said off to the side, and the Earthling responded with a growl.
"Nah, we don't need to. Just like this." As Lucy and Levy watched Marissa's thumbs tap on the screen a few times, they saw a the little square she tapped on that had a camera icon on it, and it expanded showing the area in front of them through Marissa's device.
"Whoa…" Lucy awed.
"Oh, it gets better." Marissa tapped on another icon on the bottom right of the black border that showed an outline of a camera with two arrows being rotated. The screen flipped and it didn't show the room in front of them anymore, but on the three of them instead.
"Whoa!" Lucy exclaimed, and her surprised facial expression could be seen on the screen, to which she gasped at.
"Alright, both of you get ready." Marissa announced, turning her phone sideways to get a landscaped view of the three of them. Lucy and Levy didn't pose, but simply brushed the side of their hairs with their hand and smiled, looking at the device. Marissa simply let out a big grin herself with her eyes closed. Knowing her device well enough, she easily tapped the button to snap the picture of the three of them, and the shutter noise was heard.
The three of them relaxed as Marissa lowered her arm and viewed the picture from the bottom right of the camera application. It showed all three of them looking as happy as they can be.
"It does it just like that… wow!" Levy said in shock, her sights fixated on the image.
"Are you able to make a copy of it?" Lucy asked.
"The picture itself on my phone I can… but considering we're not in TokiToki City I can't make a physical copy of it to frame it. I don't have what I need for it." Marissa explained rather sullenly.
"Is it okay if I can touch it?" Lucy questioned with some excitement.
"Yeah! Sure." Marissa handed her phone towards the blonde, who took it carefully.
"It's pretty light…" She commented, and turned it around to look at the back side of it to see some well detailed, colorful flowers of different kinds that looked too realistic.
"Swipe the picture to the right." Marissa hinted.
"Oh… alright." Lucy flipped the phone right side up again to look at the image of the three of them. With her index finger, Lucy did what Marissa said and swiped the picture to the right, where the image itself slid to the right, seemingly going away to show the image of herself and Levy looking at the lens dumbfoundedly. Lucy pouted a little bit looking at it. "I kind of want it gone."
"Nah, I'm not telling you how to do that." Marissa said with a grin.
Lucy huffed and swiped the image to right again, thinking there was another picture of them, but instead it showed another image, blurry this time, with a play button on it.
"Oh! Oops, sorry." Lucy apologetically said with some panic.
"Oh you're fine… oh…" Marissa looked at her phone to see a video she had forgotten she'd taken.
"What is this?" Levy wondered.
"A video." Marissa said, and tapped on the play button so that the video started to play.
"It's… been over a year at this point… I still can't believe it… no one wants to but, some already have…"
Marissa was seen with bloodshot eyes and visible tear streaks down her face. She sniffed and wiped her eyes with her free hand that wasn't holding her phone. She was laying on her bed as her hair was sprawled out underneath her, and she rotated her body to the side, some of her hair flowing down on her face before she sniffed again.
"We've tried everything. Supreme Kai of Time and Trunks are still looking through the scrolls… Arc is practically just gambling away his sorrows, Ann hasn't been herself ever since she found out Bro died."
Marissa sighed heavily, and her eyes fluttered a few times before a few teardrops went down the side of her face. She hiccuped a few times before whimpering a few times as well with her voice being cracked. Another sigh was emitted from her, this one being drawn out with her saddened voice.
"Frizt and Amber are strong… they keep their heads up high and keep going. I wish I could be like that… I wouldn't have to hide myself crying every now and then in front of the newbies…"
There seemed to be a glint in her eyes as she widened them slightly. But her saddened features returned a few moments later, but was more refined than earlier.
"Maybe it's time to give the Dragonballs a shot…"
There was a moment of silence in the room, more so awkward for Lucy and Levy before Marissa spoke up.
"Whoops, ehehe… forgot I had that there."
"Marissa-" Levy spoke up.
"I'm fine… really. I was happy when I first saw Yusuke here. I want to say everything is okay now but… we still don't know what happened to everyone else in TokiToki City."
"It's like you said Mari, Fritz and Amber are strong." Ann spoke up, catching their attention. "And so are a lot of other Time Patrollers. They're fine."
"Yeah… you're right Ann. I shouldn't have to worry too much." Marissa said with a fond smile. Then she looked back at her phone with some humor in her. "How about another video?"
Lucy allowed Marissa to take her phone back as she scrolled through her videos and photos.
"Oh! How about this one?" Marissa tapped on another little square among many others within the application, and as soon as the screen of the video came up, she tapped on the play button.
A person was seen stuffing their face from a large bowl of food while using chopsticks. Loud munching noises can be heard as the person continued eating, until a loud burp was heard next. He set his bowl down and sighed happily, before Yusuke went and reached towards a nearby turkey leg and began eating it, ignoring all the mess on his face.
"I shouldn't be surprised by how he eats. He is a Saiyan after all…" Marissa's voice was heard behind the camera. The video then panned over to a man with light purple hair in a black coat, leaning on the table with his right arm on it while his left hand was supporting his face, a worried look was seen on him. "You're a Saiyan Trunks, why aren't you eating that much?"
"Maybe because I'm not full blooded like him… I'm not too much like me Father in this regard." Trunks said.
"Yeah, you're more like your mother." Another voice was heard, and the camera changed to look at someone with a blue face, silverish-gray eyes and black colored armor. "You're treating us, just like Bulma did for the rest of her friends."
"Unlike my mom I'm not made out of money Arc…" Trunks deadpanned.
"Aw don't be like that Trunks, at least you're spending time with your fellow Time Patrollers. As well as friends." A new voice was heard, feminine this time as the camera turned around to see a young woman with pink skin. Her lavender eyes blinked as she went to bite into a takoyaki ball from a bamboo stick.
"Yeah! Amber's right! Your Zeni is being to put to good use by bringing us together!" Marissa said, and the camera looked down to view a plate of Onigiris. A hand from Marissa was seen picking one of them up with a strip of dry thin seaweed on it, and chewing noises can be heard from behind the camera.
"Here, lemme take this." Amber said, and without Marissa having a word in, the camera shifted again so that it viewed the young girl herself, currently eating the Onigiri with a mung bean filling inside.
It flipped so that it showed the female Majin herself again, and she giggled when she ate another takoyaki ball before aiming the camera again towards Yusuke.
"Ah… could I get some dessert next? I really like those pies you have here." Yusuke asked with a cheeky smile towards Trunks.
"Uh… s-sure…" Trunks, now cringing that he has to spend more, and some laughter could be heard from Amber, Marissa, and Arc.
"I've heard some things about a rhubarb pie… I wonder if that's any good." Yusuke wondered, waving his arm to get some service to their table.
"Yuck… rhubarb…" Marissa said as the camera panned to her next. It shifted slightly to her plates of onigiri, and a pink arm was seen being outstretched, and snatching one away.
"Hehehe…" Amber was heard giggling a bit before some chewing can be heard.
"What the-" The camera itself was still mostly focused on the plate of remaining Onigiris, but there was enough vision where Marissa was seen going for one until she looked to see one of them missing. She looked towards Amber's direction and a growl was emitted from her. "Amber! That's mine!"
"Not anymore~" Amber responded before she made of noise of eating the rest of the Onigiri with Marissa gasping on the screen, and as she looked on in horror a blue hand was seen behind her, grabbing her last Onigiri.
"Ugh! Whatever-huh?" Marissa was seen grabbing her last one but quickly looked to see her plate empty.
"Oh hey! Red bean filling! This is delicious!" Arc's voice was heard and another gasp came from Marissa. The Earthling whipped around and gasped even louder. The camera itself was now at a higher height to fully show Arc's spiky armor, and him enjoying the Onigiri.
"That's not fair you guys! I only had one!" Marissa whined.
"Trunks is paying, just order more." Arc reasoned, and was seen taking another bite.
"... oh yeah." Marissa said with a chuckle.
"Wha-?!" Trunks exclaimed, but was interrupted by the waitress coming over to their table, more to where Yusuke was at.
"Is something the matter?" The waitress asked.
"Yeah, could I order a whole rhubarb pie with a giant serving of… what flavor was that white colored ice cream again?" Yusuke asked.
"Vanilla." Amber anwsered.
"Oh yeah! Along with vanilla ice cream please!"
"Could I get another order of Onigiris with salmon, vegetable, and barbeque pork filling please?" Marissa asked.
"Certainly! I'll have that out soon!" The waitress chirped, and walked away while writing on the checkbook.
"Don't worry Trunks." Amber started, and the camera then looked over to the Half-Saiyan to spot him rubbing his face with his hands. "I got the tips."
"...thanks." He grumbled.
"Thank you Trunks~" Marissa said, and soon bursted out laughing with everyone else besides the mentioned person.
The camera shook a little bit as Marissa grunted, and the phone was now from a point of view where she sat. Yusuke was seen finishing stacking the empty bowls and plates before he went to wipe is mouth with a cloth napkin.
"So how's the food so far for you kid?" Arc asked.
"It's delicious… better than what I was having where I last came from." Yusuke answered.
"Yeah, everything is pretty good when they're not raw… ugh, I don't know you stomached that before you came here." Marissa said.
"Dunno, I didn't know how to make a fire to cook. I just had it as is." He shrugged.
"Heh, maybe I should teach you how to turn things into candy. You wouldn't have to eat stuff raw then." Amber suggested.
"That… would be just as bad… who'd want to eat only candy and nothing else?" Marissa countered.
"Besides, I think only you Majin's can turn things into candy. Haha, I've seen several other people try to learn it before but ended up blowing things up instead. Especially that one Namekian, odd fellow but funny regardless." Arc laughed.
"Speaking of sweets…" Marissa said as the camera turned to the left with the same waitress from a moment ago was carrying the pie in one hand while having the plates of Onigiri balanced on her arm and the large bowl of ice cream in the other.
"Here is your vanilla ice cream…" The waitress said as she set down the bowl in front of Yusuke, and she used her now free hand to grab the plate of Onigiri, but went to set the pie down next. "And your rhubarb pie."
"Thanks!" Yusuke said in glee, and was seen grabbing his fork and spoon.
"And then the onigiris. Enjoy!" The waitress said before turning around to leave.
"Thank you!" Marissa said from behind the camera, and it panned down to see the plate of fresh rice balls. Her hand was seen picking up the middle one and chewing noises can be heard. "Mm! The way they cook these vegetables is so good!"
"Hey, let me try." Amber was heard saying.
"No! … you know what, I'm gonna turn this off so I can fully pay attention to my food." Marissa said, and the video then stopped a moment later.
Marissa giggled for a bit as the video ended until Lucy spoke up.
"That person in the pink… she reminds me of the people you and Ann fought after you helped Yusuke back up to fight again that time." Lucy said, referring back to when Yusuke first revealed he could go Super Saiyan.
"Yeah, Amber is a Majin as well. A good friend of ours. She's practically there to help whenever I need it." Marissa answered.
"And that other person you sat next to… he looks really similar to that Frieza person who came to Earthland…" Levy mentioned.
"That's Arc, he's the same race as Frieza, that's probably why you think that. But just like Amber, he's a good friend as well."
"It seems like the Time Patrol you guys are in is very diverse."
"We get all the help we can get, and they all pull through in helping against Towa and other enemies. But they're just as strong as well." Marissa replied, scrolling through the library on her phone until she recognized a thumbnail and grinned. "Oh! Here's another fun one."
Marissa tapped on the small square, this time the beginning screen was considerably less blurry to show a frame of green grass at the bottom part with a small decorated pond in the background while a wing could be seen with white feathers that had its tips colored yellow. She tapped on the play button as another video began playing.
"Man, everytime I come here it's just so peaceful and relaxing…" Marissa's voice was heard from the camera as she walked forward, the screen being bright at first but soon dimmed down.
"Why are you recording?" Yusuke's voice was heard and the camera panned over to the left to see him looking straight at the camera while walking, and a pond could be seen in the background behind him with a wooden perch in the middle of it.
"I just feel like being in a recording mood today." Marissa said, and her device turned to the right to see a small domed-like structure, and behind it, was a large pile of modern accessories. "Think the Supreme Kai of Time is in there… wait, did that large pile grew in size again?"
"Leave it to her to have Trunks bring her things to try out… and leaving it out in the open."
"You'd think being seventy-five million years old you'd take have that kind of responsibility."
"... At least she took care of me."
"Hm. Point taken. I wonder if Tokitoki is nearby."
"Kii!" Just as Marissa had wondered, her camera looked above to see a white and yellow colored bird that resembled much like an owl that seemed to have a very long beard, flying towards her and Yusuke.
"Aw, there he is!" Marissa said, and was heard giggling.
"Kii!" Tokitoki arrived and flapped his wings just in front of them, and Marissa's opposite arm was seen in front of her. The old bird saw her arm and gently descended down, perching on top of it. His head tilted slightly to the side, looking directly into the camera, and leaned his head forward to take a closer look.
"Haha, look at the way he looks at my phone." Marissa laughed.
"He's probably never seen one before." Yusuke replied.
"I'd be surprised, especially since the Supreme Kai of Time has played with so many things."
"A phone might not have been one of them."
"Which would be kind of surprising." Marissa answered, and they both continued walking down the stone walkway to a larger building a bit of distance away, past the small domed house and more of the unused equipment lying around on the green grass.
"The Supreme Kai of Time said this was urgent, I wonder what's going this time." Yusuke said.
"I hope it's nothing too serious."
"It's always serious in the Time Nest."
"I meant 'too' serious, Bro."
"Right, right…"
White marbled steps were in close view, and the sound of the both of them walking up towards the archway of the Time Nest could be heard while the camera kept facing forward with the back of Tokitoki's head in view from the side, occasionally looking around.
Eventually, they both made it to the top and immediately headed inside, where a large space was seen with many openings inside the walls filled with scrolls. A lower part of the room was also seen downwards, along with three figures looking facing towards a large table in the middle of area.
A young man was seen in a black coat with purple hair along with a much smaller person standing on top of a stool, looking to be feminine from the device's range as she had pinkish-red hair and light purple pointed ears seen from behind. The other person that was on the opposite side of the young female and next to the person with the black coat was almost just as short as the young woman, but just a bit taller who's red skin clearly seen apart from a black armor with touches of light blue he seemed to be wearing.
"Trunks, Supreme Kai of Time." Yusuke called out, and the three figures turned around to hear his voice.
"Yusuke, you're here." Trunks greeted, and looked towards the camera. "You as well Marissa."
"Hiya!" Marissa greeted back, and her camera turned towards the red-skinned figure next to Trunks, his orange eyes with blue lines on either side of his face looking towards her and the male Saiyan with a small smile. A bit of dirt was seen on him, and had small scratches upon closer look. "Hey Frizt, didn't know you'd be here too."
"Yeah, I just got back a few minutes ago. When I did, I saw Trunks and the Supreme Kai of Time looking over a different scroll than the one when I was here." Frizt explained.
"What part did you finish-oof!" Marissa was asking, until the camera turned to the right to see Tokitoki flying away from her arm and over to the Supreme Kai of Time's shoulder.
"I just finished fighting Buu… I think he would have actually destroyed the Sacred World of the Kai's if I wasn't there."
"Did you help with the Spirit Bomb?"
"You bet I did." Frizt answered with a thumbs up, but his mood turned a bit more serious. "But enough about me. Yusuke, you're needed."
"What do we have this time?" Yusuke spoke up, answering, and walked forward to the table with Marissa herself trailing behind.
"It's about Trunks. When he first travelled back in time." Supreme Kai of Time answered in a serious tone.
"We've been watching for a little bit now, we're just seeing Frieza and King Cold arriving on Earth." Frizt added in.
"That part?" Yusuke asked, and Frizt nodded.
The camera now has a clear view of the entire table for the first time as Marissa stood next to Trunks with the Supreme Kai of Time behind her. A scroll was unraveled before them with a dark purple glow with a screen within it, and as it was another video being played, it showed of Frieza's ship with Frieza, King Cold and their henchmen walking on Earth's surface.
The command from Frieza was just given to the soldiers as they were all just about to go search for the ones responsible of defeating him on Planet Namek. That is, until all of the troops stopped their movements as several of them were cut into pieces and sprawled on the ground. The brown dirt was now mixed into the colors of red, purple, green, and blue blood due to the various races of the troops in Frieza's forces, and those remaining backed up in fear to see Trunks himself in front of them, giving off a glare.
After one of Frieza's soldiers attacked Trunks several times with a Ki blast weapon, the half-Saiyan was seen knocking that specific soldier out, which prompted the rest of the troops to attack him. Almost unseen to one's eye, Trunks quickly dispatched every soldier as the cuts from his sword was prominently seen, and all of their blood came gushing out as all but one of them collapsed on the dirt ground, dead. The one troop who survived had most of his armor cut into pieces, and fearfully backed away from Trunks as he sheathed his sword.
But unknown to last soldier, Frieza was just behind him, and the tyrant used his arm to stab the last troop in the stomach, killing him.
There as a brief conversation between Trunks, Frieza and King Cold until Trunks revealed that he was also a Super Saiyan, causing Frieza and King Cold to laugh at an assumed bluff. However, Trunks screamed in power, and soon his eyes turned teal and his hair soon rise and turned into a gold color.
King Cold watched in shock, as well as Frieza but with more fright. That is, until an evil grin could be seen and Frieza's eyes glowed a bright red with a dark purple miasma was seen swirling around.
"There." Yusuke said as he spotted the change, but gasped as he saw King Cold turn around to face Trunks fully, and just like with Frieza, a dark purple aura was seen around with glowing red eyes.
"Frieza's father is part of it as well…" Frizt pointed out.
"I'm going." Yusuke immediately said.
"Frizt, can you go help him out?" Supreme Kai of Time spoke up.
"I don't-"
"You're going to have backup, I'm not arguing with you about this."
"She's kind of got a point, you just recently learned to transform and you're still getting used to it..." Marissa said.
"You don't have anything against me, do you kid?" Frizt said, resting a hand on Yusuke's shoulder.
"N-no! I don't." Yusuke quickly answered.
"I get it, you're a Saiyan, you want to hog all the fun for yourself. But this is Frieza including his dad here. You're gonna need the help. I saw how much of a hard time you had against just Frieza on Namek."
"I wasn't-"
"Yeah, yeah. C'mon, let's go." Frizt was seen grabbing the scroll and rolling it up. He patted Yusuke on the shoulder again as the both of them started to glow in a white light.
"Good luck you two!" Supreme Kai of Time said.
"Don't let them kill Trunks!" Marissa said, and Frizt was seen giving a nod while Yusuke was seen trying to say something but didn't get the chance to as the both of them vanished.
"I hope they'll be alright…" Trunks said with worry.
"They'll be fine. So, Marissa, whaddya have there?" The Supreme Kai of Time asked in a curious, but excited manner.
"Oh this?" Marissa turned around with her device to fully see the Supreme Kai of Time's face, her two Portara earrings seen dangling from her ears. "It's a cell phone! I'm using it to record everything I have up until now to watch later."
"Recording, eh? I wanna see!" The Kai's face lit up as she extended out her arms.
"Hehe, sure!" Marissa chuckled, and the camera faced the ground for a brief moment before the Kai's face was seen again, up close and she blinked a few times. "Uh, other way Supreme Kai."
"Oh! Hehe, I knew that." Supreme Kai of Time chuckled, and the camera turned around to see Marissa and Trunks looking towards her direction. "Hey… this is pretty neat!"
"Is it safe to be recording in here?" Trunks asked.
"Why wouldn't it?" Marissa asked back, turning her head back.
"Ah it's fine… there's nothing harmful to be done if something like this is being recorded." Supreme Kai of Time assured, and the camera began to rotate to take in the view of the Time Vault.
"I don't know, what if it falls into the wrong hands and the enemy somehow saw an opening in the Vault that they could exploit?" Trunks pointed out.
"Pfft, you actually saying it makes it sound really unlikely." The Kai said, finishing up her rotation around the Time Vault with Marissa's phone to look back at her and Trunks
"Ugh…" He facepalmed.
"Hm… what's this red thing do-"
"Oh yeah, I forgot she did that." Marissa laughed, seeing the video stop abruptly.
"So that's the Supreme Kai of Time… You guys talked a bit about her." Levy commented.
"Yup, she's the one who manages all of time in the universes."
"... and seventy-five million years old…" Lucy added in.
"She looks so… young. Literally." Levy also said.
"Well, she is a deity." Marissa casually said. "Though we do have another Kai that's only a thousand years older than her and he's an old geezer."
"Do they mature rapidly after a certain point in that regard?"
"Nah, the old geezer fused with an old witch way back then. He apparently looked young and handsome back in the day until that mess happened."
"Fused…?" Lucy wondered."
"Yeah, you saw those earrings on her? Those are called Potara Earrings. If one person puts one on one of their ears, and the other person puts the other one on the opposite of their ear of the first person, then they both merge together into one being." Marissa explained, and when she saw the incredulous looks on Lucy and Levy, she laughed. "You gotta believe me, you think that's more weirder than everything else?"
"Two people fusing together… and you said there's one who did so and is over seventy-five million years old.. Is it permanent?!" Levy concluded.
"Nah…" Marissa laughed again. "We thought so at first, but we learned that if anyone else who isn't titled the Supreme Kai then the duration of the fusion just lasts an hour… of course, that isn't applied to the old geezer I talked about since he was actually a Supreme Kai way back then. But, if he really wanted to, a simple wish of the Dragonballs can undo it. Not with ours though, there are others."
"When you put it like that, it Does seem true…" Lucy said, and Levy nodded in agreement.
"It's really interesting to see things from your guys' world… that man with the light purple hair though, he's Trunks?" Levy asked.
"Yeah, similar to Bro, he's a Saiyan. Half at least, his mother's human, and fell for his father." Marissa answered. "Kind of our superior, and was also a major part of our history. Actually, he's the one who practically started the whole time travelling shenanigans. If not for him, the Time Patrol wouldn't exist."
"How so?"
"Trunks' intentions were good, and still is." Ann began speaking up, catching the three girls' attention. "He first went back in time to save a major historical figure, Goku. Where he first came from, Goku died of a heart virus that Trunks' mother was able to find a cure for almost two decades later, as well as building the time machine at the same time."
"Not only that, he warned the past people about an upcoming threat that happened where he was originally from. Putting it simply, they all prepared for the attack, held off for a bit, but it got worse and at a point, unpredictable than what he originally thought would happen and what the outcome of it was. But in the end, they all prevailed and saved planet Earth from despair. Trunks went back to his own timeline, and did what was right by defeating the threat at his time." Marissa continued.
"And that's where the Supreme Kai of Time comes in, catching wind of what Trunks did. She scolded him for travelling back in time, and forced him to work under her which would later be the Time Patrol."
"He enjoys it though." Marissa added in.
"As long as he like it I suppose it's alright… even though you guys make it sound like he went without his own will." Lucy said.
"He would probably stay even if he got a chance to go back." Marissa said as she looked through more of her library until she saw one in particular and almost gasped out loud. She looked and Ann for a moment with an almost teasing-like smile before catching Lucy and Levy's attention back to her. "Oh, I found another one."
Lucy and Levy bunched up next to Marissa again as they looked over her shoulder. The frame showing on the Earthling's device was a person whose face they couldn't see but showed an acoustic guitar resting on the person's leg with both of their arms showing as well as if they were playing the instrument. Marissa tapped on the play button and the video began to play.
"And… take, what, like take seven or something…?" Marissa's voice was heard behind the camera, and the camera showed to see Ann sitting on a chair inside a rather cozy apartment with a guitar in her arms.
"Mari, what are you talking about?" Ann spoke up, adjusting the bang in her hair so that it wasn't in the way.
Ann tensed up as she heard her voice from Marissa's phone, and she directed her full attention at the three girls who were watching intently.
However she narrowed her eyes at Marissa when she saw her with a grin.
"Oh, nothing. Human stuff. Anyway, go ahead." Marissa said.
"Alright…" Ann inhaled and exhaled a moment later. She played one note-
"Hey!" Marissa shouted as her phone was quickly snatched from her, and looked towards a peeved Ann with her eyes wide as saucers.
"I thought I told you to delete these!" Ann said as she paused the video.
"I did! … the bad ones at least." Marissa grumbled.
"They're all bad, Mari."
"No they're not, not this one at least."
"Delete this video, or I'll do it my way." Ann threatened, and held up Marissa's phone in her hand near her head, and she was seen squeezing it, which Marissa caught on immediately.
"No! Okay, okay! I'll delete the video!" Marissa pleaded, her hands up in protest.
Ann narrowed her eyes skeptically before tossing Marissa's phone at her. The Earthling caught her phone with a hand, and saw Ann come towards her with her arms crossed. With a sigh, Marissa tapped on the screen once so that white borders on the top and bottom of the screen appeared. On the bottom right of the corner was a trash can icon and she touched it. A prompt came up for her asking if she really wanted to delete the video, and tapped 'Yes'.
"There." Marissa said.
"Good." Ann nodded.
"That's a bummer, I'd be willing to hear it." Lucy said, downcasted.
"Yeah, I would've thought it was great." Levy added.
"... I know when I'm bad at something." Ann sighed, rubbing the back of her neck with her eyes closed. She turned around to face the door and began walking towards it. "I think I've had enough time to relax. I'm going to go meditate."
Marissa, Lucy, and Levy watched Ann walk out of the apartment. There was a mild somber mood in the room until Marissa went to sit on the couch with a small smile.
"Y'know, I would almost feel bad about this. But luckily, the video isn't entirely deleted." Marissa said, and gestured her hands at Lucy and Levy to come over.
Confused, both girls went over to the couch to sit on either side of the Earthling.
"Here." Marissa tapped on a Recently Deleted tabs on the application, it showed several selfies of herself doing weird faces with either her tongue sticking out in a teasing fashion or her mouth moved to the side of the face very weirdly. "Hehe, not these."
Lucy and Levy couldn't help but laugh out loud at her deleted pictures. Marissa scrolled all the way to the bottom of the tab to see the video of Ann.
"I'll just do select it… and restored!" Marissa said.
"... but is it really alright?" Lucy asked with worry.
"Yeah… especially with how she acted." Levy agreed.
"It'll be our little secret." Marissa winked. "Besides, if it's just you two, it'll be fine. She's a lot more easy going than she looks."
"Well, alright then..."
"Alright… now let's play it back." Marissa said in the video, and it ended shortly after Ann played her last note and after she exhaled.
"She wasn't bad at all!" Lucy said.
"You're right, she was really good! I'm not sure why she thought it wasn't good." Levy said.
"To be honest I'm not so sure either… she should give herself more credit. A nice change in just having training and fighting in your mind." Marissa said, and allowed her phone to sleep as she pushed a button on the side of the device. She laid back in the couch with a sigh, and out of habit, she peeked at her phone again to check the time as it showed 7:08 PM. "Oh right, we're in a different world. My phone isn't able to adjust to the time it is currently…"
"I wouldn't mind having one for myself… it must be really fun to use." Lucy said.
"It is… like, right now actually. I almost forgot about the situation the three of us are in. It's nice to just be with friends and have a good time."
"I had a fun time too Marissa… especially learning more about the Time Patrol. I bet it'd be just as fun to actually go there." Levy said.
"If we're not working, definitely." Marissa responded with a large grin.
"Is there anything else you want to share? I wouldn't mind seeing them." Lucy suggested with a smile.
"Me too! I want to keep learning more, and see what's different over there than here." Levy added in.
"I got plenty." Marissa said with a smile, and opened up her cell phone once more.
If you guys are wondering what type of music was played, go ahead and search up "So ist es immer" from Attack on Titan. I'm not sure if there's only an instrumental version, but imagine that being played without the lyrics being said. Either that, or use your imagination of Ann playing something rather peaceful as a contrast to her explosive personality.
I figured I'd get some more background here regarding some characters part of the Time Patrol. Amber and Frizt are not my OCs, but one's I've taken interest back when I asked for CACs in CH 21. Hope you guys enjoyed some splice of life!
Regarding Dragonball Heroes, I've seen the 1st episode, and it's pretty interesting. I love it to be honest of how they're portraying Fu so far. I first imagined him to be just as wicked as Towa is, but playing through DBXV2 and the DLC where he comes in kind of bummed me out that he wasn't using the energy he gathered for anything else. I do hope they keep Fu in DBH as a large antagonist to deal with instead of just roaming around gathering energy just because he feels like through his experiments. I also wish the fight between SSJ4 Goku and SSJB Goku was longer but oh well lol. Overall I'm enjoying it so far.
It's summer break so I got plenty more free time than I did before, I just hope that I'm able to gun these chapters out a lot sooner than before. We're... maybe just 1 or 2 more chapters left before the small arc I have planned before the Tenrou arc is next, so I'm excited to bring that out.
During the time I'm posting this is the time that AX is happening in LA, I do wish I was there but work beckons. If I could, I'd make it so that those who work could get a paid leave, that'd be great! Haha.
Once again, I hoped you guys liked the chapter, and thank you all very much for keeping up with story. It's honestly amazing how we're over 400 favorites and almost reaching 400 follows, let's keep it up!
Until then!
