Winter has the right to be absolutely furious with Nezu right now. The other four as well. And she would be–if she didn't see the logic behind his lesson. She was right, of course. They were going to be taught less than legal things as well as being taught morally grey lessons. Things that heroes should probably never do in their careers, but with how society is, they will need to apply it in the future.
The group of five stayed silent as they walked out of the school, absolutely horrified–Momo and Winter indifferent while leading the group. Winter stops right before passing the UA Gate and turns around. She looks up and stares at Nezu observing them through his office window before focusing on her classmates.
"We should all continue with the lessons," The white haired teenager states softly, knowing the principal is most likely listening in.
"Continue with–with that fucking shit?! We're–we're here to become heroes not–not fucking villains!" Katsuki hisses, genuinely angry.
Winter isn't fazed by the anger and stands her ground. "Bakugō-kun. As you grew, what did you observe of society?" The question startles the blonde out of his anger for a moment.
"My birth was a predetermined political decision. Mother and Mama–while it wasn't a Quirk Marriage–had been arranged to be married ever since they were born. Mother is not on the good side. Definitely not. As a contract that came with the marriage, Mama had to agree to have four children. I was the last–and the most important," Winter says softly, face completely blank.
"I was born and raised in the world of wealth and politics. The world of corruption. If you wanted to survive in that world, in the corruption, you had to do whatever it took to come out on top. That did not make you a bad person–did not make you a villain," She continues. "I wish I could tell you that your world–the working class society and hero society were different, but they aren't. And they will never be different. Society is full of shades of white, shades of black, shades of grey."
"This–these lessons, Ravette-kun. This isn't–this isn't right," Izuku says, incredibly pale and looking a little sickly.
Winter sighs heavily, glaring off to the side. "Of course it isn't right, or good. Many things aren't, but people–heroes use these things to do good, to make the world just a little bit better for the next generation. Human society is, and always will be, fucked up."
Everyone flinches back at the cussword. Winter clenches her fists and takes in a deep breath.
"It is ultimately your decision to continue with Nezu-Sensei's lessons. I do not like them either. To be honest, we all have the right to be furious with him for even wanting to teach us these things, but–" Winter glances back up at the animal "–keep in mind that even if you don't go through with it, there are people, the absolute worst of society who will force others to learn these lessons and force them to use what they learn against those who want and try to do good. We can learn these things and choose to never use them, but we cannot deny the fact that either way, it will be logical to know about these lessons, to learn from them." Winter focuses back on her classmates.
"As your Class Representative–and a friend–I urge you all to thoroughly think about the pros and cons of going through with these lessons. It is your decision, but know that this will benefit you more than to be ignorant. The things we will learn, they will continue to be used by others no matter what our opinions are about it." The white haired teenager turns and walks off the campus. She gets into her limo before it drives off.
Momo frowns slightly and faces her classmates. "If anything, continue to attend the lessons to know how to spot these things throughout your careers as heroes. We have until next week to give Nezu-Sensei our answers." She leaves the rest to their thoughts.
"That fucking rat, sending children into battle..."
Winter simmers in her cold fury, frost traveling up the window of the limo and the leather seats.
Bakugō Katsuki:
You said you were the last and most important one to be born out of your siblings. You have a fucking younger sister. –Read
Whitney and Willow were once triplets. He died seven years ago. –Delivered
Mama had to have four children. It didn't matter if one died, she had to have another to keep it at four. –Delivered
...that's fucked up –Read
It is, but life is fucked up. –Delivered.
You had a brother? –Read
Sometime in the future, I will tell you. I don't like to go into it, especially through text. I hope you have a good night, Bakugō-kun. –Delivered.
You fucking better. –Read
...goodnight. And if you ever tell anyone about the books you saw, I will fucking kill you. –Read
Winter laughs quietly at the last text before turning off her phone. A small smile stays on her face as she sighs.
"He's a pretty cute when flustered," She thinks, ears turning pink before she lays back in her bed. She stares up at the black, sheer canopy above her and sighs again.
"Winter, you have sighed twice in less than a minute. The rise of your heartbeat and your pupils dilating indicate that you are either under the influence or thinking about someone romantically. I prefer the latter, but if you are drugged, I will have Ringo get a drug testing kit," Day points out easily.
Winter sits up and stares at the screen next to her bed, face flushing. "Day! I am not–I do not thinking that about him!"
"So you were thinking about someone romantically," Day says, sounding a bit smug. Winter buries her red face into her hands and shakes her head.
"No–no I was not!" The white haired teenager scrambles off the bed and rushes over to her workspace. "Put on some music–and stop teasing me!"
"Of course Winter." Love You Like A Love Song comes on, making Winter blush even more.
"Day!" Winter scolds loudly. Day giggles before switching the music to her Insomnia Playlist. Winter sighs heavily and opens her sketchbook.
She stares at the design she was working on–Momo's Hero Costume Redesign #3–before flipping to a new page. With a bright red face, she labels the page before grabbing her pencil and begins working.
Day watches her in her little cyberworld, a knowing smile on her face. She checks the security system around her mistress's room and mansion before traveling through the country in the cyberworld. She has someone to background check.
Day reaches her destination by seeing Bakugō Katsuki pace around his room, grumbling with flushed cheeks. She gives the room a rudimentary inspection–she was highly amused at the bookshelf filled with romance novels and shōjo manga–before hacking into the boy's computer.
Basic firewalls and some free virus protection program. Nothing challenging, unfortunately. Day thoroughly checks and double checks everything on the computer.
"Hm... The only child of Bakugō Mitsuki and Bakugō Masaru, co-owners of the Bakugō Fashion and Model Agency... clean record... good talent in designing and modelling... a bit of a celebrity... bad home life–Winter must have spotted the signs already–decent manners..." Day mentally takes notes on the–not bland per say, but surprisingly clean information... seems too good to be true...
Day delves deeper, accessing Japan's entire cyber world–so incredibly easily, but Winter always said not to brag–to find anything wrong about Katsuki. She refuses to ever let Winter be with another horrible person again. Her mistress suffered too much from her, lost too much.
Day would do whatever it takes for Winter to be happy. If that means possibly ruining the life of a promising hero-in-training, so be it. Winter will always forgive her.
