"Winter-san! Are you excited?! It's the Sports Festival!" Mina exclaims cheerfully, latching onto the white haired teenager's arm when she walks into the waiting room. Winter jumps slightly in surprise at the sudden pounce before smiling brightly.

"Yes! To be actually participating in the Sports Festival is something I have dreamed of doing. I was always fascinated by it." Winter gently pulls her arm away from Mina to pull up her hair. "I'm not one for publicity, despite being–well, despite being Ravette Winter, but to be in the Sports Festival where everyone has an equal chance to win, to be in a competition to prove my worth and where I fight to keep my place, it is all very exciting."

Winter quickly ties her hair up into a ponytail, not bothered when a few longer strands fall out almost immediately. Mina blinks at the heartfelt statement before grinning brightly.

"If anyone's gonna make it to the top, it's you Winter-san! You better win for us girls if you do!" Mina exclaims, making Winter blush a bit.

Winter gives Mina a small look, still smiling. "Mina-san, don't downplay your own skill and talent! You'll be great. We all will."

Which, to Winter, was true. Even with the failed intimidation tactic the rest of the first year students had attempted yesterday, Winter is absolutely confident that her class was going to dominate the Sports Festival. Not only did she see all of their potential throughout the short time they have been at UA, they were all absolutely determined to get stronger. USJ wasn't something Winter would wish upon anyone, but she is glad that her class survived through it and learned from it. Actual experience is better than simulations and lectures.

"Our class," Winter continues with a determined grin, "I am absolutely sure that our class is going to dominate the Sports Festival and I am proud of the fact. No matter who takes the top 3, it will be our class and we will show them all that we deserve it."

"Winter-chan, please don't get carried away in this competition. It would not be good for your future hero reputation if you were banned from it indefinitely. Like last time," Momo says calmly, working on something from her tablet. Winter feels her ears burn and she gives her best friend a small glare.

"It was a competition!" She defends herself, making the black haired teenager roll her eyes.

"Winter-chan, you punched the judge so hard that you knocked him out," Momo points out.

Winter turns up her nose with a huff and turns around. "He was being paid to turn a blind eye to Catherine's cheating!"

"And you gave into his game and assaulted him. Which, may I remind you, disqualified you from the competition and automatically gave Catherine first place," Momo adds, glancing up from her tablet. Winter scowls slightly and glares at her.

"You cannot blame me for keeping the competition honest. Someone had to do something!"

"Woah, Winter-san punched someone?! But she's so–so nice!" Mina asks with wide eyes. Winter feels her blush spread to her cheeks as she brushes the loose strands out of her face.

"I admit... I may have lost control of my temper, but I am an incredibly competitive person and I can become a bit... aggressive... but I despise it when people do not respect the rules and break them. I despise it even more when those supervising competitions blatantly overlook these people breaking the rules and cheating... Most of the time, I can control myself better," Winter begrudgingly states while fixing her scarf. "It was in the heat of the moment. I was already having a bad day. Mother was being even more unbearable than usual. I was given news of a betrayal. It wasn't my best moment, but I won't lie and say I regret. Punching that little fuc–punching that judge was the best thing that happened at the competition and it was worth it!"

"Oh? Was cussing him out also worth it?" Momo teases, making the white haired teenager glare at her.

"I have no idea what your talking about, Momo. Story time's over. We need to focus!" Winter changes the subject with a stern tone. Everyone turns their attention on other things, except an amused–but he'll never admit it–Katsuki. He chuckles silently and leans against the wall while Winter walks past.

"Fucking better not hold back your competitiveness and your fucking aggression. I'm gonna prove I'm the fucking best, Albino Bitch," Katsuki says quietly.

Winter pauses in front of him and turns with a smile. "Look forward to it Bakugou-kun! I hope you're up to the challenge. I'm not easy to defeat." A feral grin grows on the blonde's face as he oushes off the wall.

"Yeah? Well I'm not either, Ravette."

"Hey! Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescence that you all love, the UA Sports Festival is about to begin! Everybody, are you ready?!" Present Mic shouts through the intercom. The entire stadium starts cheering loudly.

Winter takes a deep breath and starts leading her class with a bright, confident smile. "It's time for the students to enter the first-year stage!"

Winter glances back and gives her class a thumbs up before turning back around. They enter the stadium and the crowds go absolutely wild. The white haired teenager blinks away her momentary blindness and takes a quick glance around. The stadium was almost almost completely full and Winter knew it was because of her.

"The UA Sports Festival! The huge battle where fledgling heroes sharpen their swords once a year! Anyways, these are the guys, right?! The miraculous news stars who overcame enemy attacks with their hearts of steel!" Winter puts on her picture smile and raises a hand to wave at the stadium. "The Hero Course, Class 1-A, right?!"

"The-there's so many p-people..." Izuku stutters out in terror.

"Will we be able to give our best performance being watched by so many people? This is also part of the training required to become a hero," Tenya questions to himself.

"Man, he's going overboard with the praise. I'm getting nervous!" Eijirō states quietly. Winter turns around, hand still waving and gives her class a genuine smile.

"We deserve the praise. It's not every day children are able to survive a planned villain attack with no back-up. Don't let it get to you. Just have fun and be yourself," She reassures them all before turning back around.

"Easy for you to say, you were born into this kind of world," Hitoshi says with a smile.

Winter glances down at him and laughs quietly. "You'll learn and I'll help teach you all if you ask. Right now, they don't expect you all to know the ins and outs of publicity. Momo-chan and I being here should enough to keep the harpies away from you."

"They haven't been getting as much airtime, but this class is also full of talent! Hero Course, Class 1-B!" Winter frowns slightly when the other class in the Hero Course comes out, most of them glaring at her and her class with jealousy and anger.

"Are they–they honestly can't be jealous?!" She focuses back on the crowds of people, spotting a few cameras near them. She turns and gives the cameras a wave before making a heart with her hands.

"Next, General Studies classes, Class 1-C, 1-D, 1-E! Support Course, Classes 1-F, 1-G, and 1-H are here too! And Business Course, Classes 1-I, 1-J, 1-K! All of UA's first years are here now!" The stadium cheers, obviously less enthusiastic than when Winter's class came in. Winter looks up when she hears the sound of a whip and sweatdrops.

Midnight stood on top of a raised platform, all in her dominatrix glory. "Time for the player pledge!"

"Sh-should Midnight-Sensei be wearing that at a school event?" Ochako asks, gaze averted with flushed cheeks. Winter laughs quietly, ears pink.

"It is her hero costume. You should see what she wore for her debut. It's what caused the uniform restrictions in the first place," Winter comments easily, glancing around at her class.

"Quiet, everyone!" Midnight brings down her whip dramatically. "Representing the students is Lady Ravette Winter of Class 1-A!"

"What?"

"What?" Winter asks, surprised by the information. The white haired teenager quickly puts on her cool facade and starts walking towards the raised platform. She glances up at the hero's viewing room and gives the small stature of Nezu a glare. The stadium goes absolutely wild.

"WINTER! WINTER! WINTER!"

"What? When were the teachers going to tell us?" Izuku asks, shocked.

"Well, she is the only Transfer Recommendation. And in case you have forgotten, she broke the exam records at BAH, getting the highest score since the founding of the academy. Not to mention her name. Nezu-Sensei is probably doing this to further UA's political clout," Momo says calmly, not the least bit surprised.

"But–but that's–she a human person, not a tool!" Eijirō protests, making Katsuki scoff.

"Stop kissing her ass. She won't win this," Someone from the General Studies classes states loudly. Class 1-A immediately glare at the person who spoke. Before anything could happen, Winter stops in front of the microphone. The entire stadium goes completely silent.

"I guess it's BSing another speech," Winter thinks to herself, taking in a deep breath.

"Good morning everyone!" She says brightly before getting serious. "This year, for everyone, has been interesting to say the least. All Might-Sensei moved to Musutafu to begin teaching at this wonderful school, UA High School, I was accepted as a Transfer Recommendation here–which I will be eternally grateful for–reporters managed to trespass on UA's campus, and villains attacked a class of teenagers–a class of 22 kids cut off from any back-up and only having two heroes, neither suited for frontline combat, and a teacher's assistant there to protect them."

She takes a deep breath and stares straight into the camera. "No class should go through this. None. Not even the third year classes, even if they are much more experienced. It was a premeditated attack intended to kill as many people as possible. It makes me furious. It makes me furious that villains thought they were being smart, thought they would actually get away with this. This school, every student is here to make change. Business, Heroics, General, Support. All of us, in all courses were skilled enough to get accepted. Nezu-Sensei saw the potential. And I see it too. For villains to attack 22 kids filled with potential to try and 'bring down' the heroes egos, is such... asinine! So, what I mean to say, is this. You villains–you cowards thought it would make people fear you for attacking one of the most prestigious schools in Japan. You are wrong. This Sports Festival–it's not just to show off all of our talents and strength. No this year, we–the students–are showing the world that you don't scare anyone. That you failed. All you ever accomplished was showing the world that you were too weak to defeat first year students. So next time you decide to attack us, think about that. Think about your failure and remember next time, you'll lose again. Next time, everyone will be prepared and the kids–they won't be as inexperienced and if it comes down to it, we'll defeat you again." Winter gives the camera an obvious mocking heart with a cheerful smile.

"Go Beyond, Plus Ultra. You can't beat that easily," She ends her speech. The stadium stays silent for a few moments more before the crowds start cheering and screaming.

"WINTER YOU SO PRETTY!"

"WINTER-CHAN, CAN I HAVE A SELFIE?!"

"WINTER! WINTER! WINTER! WINTER!" The white haired teenager takes a deep breath and gives a bow before turning around and walking back towards her class. She sees something get thrown towards her and reaches out her hands. A giant stuffed teddy bear falls into her hands and Winter laughs quietly. She waves at the crowd before reaching her class.

"Good declaration of war. Should I inform Nīsan that we may need to be prepared for future battles?" Momo asks curiously with her phone to her ear. Winter nods her head with a smile.

"Please. Oh and miss," Winter turns to the General Studies girl who commented before her speech. "My friends aren't kissing my ass, as you said. What they said was the true facts. I hope you have trained for this. The Sports Festival is not easy and anyone who thinks that, should reevaluate wanting to transfer into the Hero Course. It's much harder than this simple competition."
