"So, we're dealing with a guy who can rewrite reality at almost a whim?" Sara Lance asks after William retells all the events prior. At least, the abridged version.

"I've known many objects that could change one aspect of reality or another," John Constantine explains. "But never on a mass scale."

"Well, Deegan can," William reiterates. "The whole Multiverse could be next if we don't stop him."

"How can we?" Ray Palmer inquires. "If he can alter all of reality, he can very likely alter all of us."

"The Temporal Zone is outside time and space," William explains. "It's immune to the book's changes, hence why you guys haven't changed."

"Well, we can't just sit out here forever. Look at what the Time Bureau's become." He points to the image of what was once the Time Bureau, now called the Time Correctional Facility. "We're sitting ducks if we don't find a way to step into the world safely."

"I think I can," William theorizes. "It's hard to explain, but I'm something called—"

"The Freakin' Chosen?!"

From the hallway stands someone that William does not recognize. A woman with a British accent, possibly a punk rock type with curled hair stretched down one side, along with a punk rock jacket and tight pants. She looks at William, her wide eyes expressing shock as she slowly walks to them.

"You know who I am?" William asks as he walks over to the woman.

"I-if you're here, then..."

She doesn't seem to be conscious of William's question or anyone else's presence. She just looks up and down at him, possibly contemplating William's arrival.

"Hey!"

Yet another voice echoes in the hall. This one William recognizes. He looks past the woman and sees Mick Rory, looking frustrated as he walks inside.

"You people couldn't leave me alone for five minutes just to finish up one paragraph? Gideon made me loose my train of thought and now I have to—"

Mick stops as he sees William, who walks away from the woman.

"And who are you?" Mick asks with a growling, impatient voice.

"Oliver Queen's son," William answers.

Mick takes a moment to observe William, whether to confirm the truth or to size him up, William doesn't know.

"You have his beard," Mick finally says, obviously not a man of compliments.

Still, William takes it, "Thanks."

"Holy…" the woman utters as she approaches the hologram table. "This is much worse than I imagined. What prick gave a psychopath the Book?"

She knows something about the Book of Destiny. Maybe Ronnie recommended this place for another reason. I should prod her for more info.

"A man named Mar Novu," William answers as he walks up next to her. "Goes by the Monitor. You know him by any chance?"

"Never knew anyone like that while in Hell," The woman explains to him quickly before looking back at the images.

William is taken a bit off guard by the statement. He knew that the Legends of Tomorrow have been searching for escaped demons, but to send them back to hell, not recruit them.

"You guys have been recruiting Hell spawn?" William asks the group.

"Hey!" Charlie shouts as if offended. "I wasn't BORN in Hell! I was…" She stops for a moment, her moment of anger turning to nervousness as she inhales a bit uneasily and scratches the back of her head. "I was just…locked up in Hell. HUGH difference."

"Charlie's been helpful in finding others like her," Sara explains. "A bit stubborn, but still helpful."

Charlie? Doesn't sound like any demon or evil soul I know. At least, from any testaments anyways. But still, if she's had experience with the book…

"Well, listen Charlie," William addresses her. "If you know anything about the book, you have to tell us. Any weaknesses?"

Charlie hesitates to answer. She bites her lip as she gazes at the images. William can see pain in her eyes, the faint sigh escaping her lips. He can tell that for her, this wasn't the first time she had seen reality change, whether by her own hands or not.

"It doesn't respond to the user," Charlie finally answers. "Not entirely. It's only subservient to its creator."

God.

"When a mortal uses it, it takes a toll on the mind. Only someone with sheer willpower can wield it for long periods of time. On top of that, it doesn't allow the user to alter reality entirely. It makes use of the reader's imagination, finding ways to create weaknesses so that the hero has the chance to win."

"That actually sounds promising," Nate says assuredly.

"Still," Constantine interjects. "Like you said Nate, our minds can still be buggered even if Will's immune. we'll need to think carefully before doing anything risky."

"My thoughts exactly," William agrees. "And I may know where Deegan may be keeping the—"

"Sorry! Sorry."

Yet another person runs in from the hallway. Another woman who looked to be new, yet William can't help but feel that there is something familiar about her. Particularly, he recognizes the red shirt with the dark brown stripe pattern and the necklace it partially covers.

"Sorry I'm late. I'm here now, so—" She quickly goes from frantic and apologetic to angry with rage in her voice. "—WHAT is HE doing here?!"

With a quick tap of her necklace, a ball of air appears in her hand.

Wait a second. That's the air totem. The last person to have that was—

Her arm aims at William, ready to fire. But the others intervene, running up and shouting at her to calm down. Well, everyone except Mick who stands to the side.

"Zari, don't!" Nate yells. "This guy's a friend!"

Zari? His sister? But that means…

Knowing what to do, William pushes through the group and walks to Zari. He stops when he sees her growing tense but is not afraid of her.

He points to the object around her neck. "That totem. "I only know one person who wielded it. The person I helped control it. Behrad."

Zari's aim lowers just by a bit when hearing Behrad's name. Her eyes also widen a bit as if surprised.

"You're his sister Zari. Right? He mentioned you many times. Said that he would teach you to how to use it in case…" William closes his eyes, feeling the pain in his throat caused by the words he would have to say in front of her. "…If he died."

William can see Zari's lip tremble very slightly, as does her aiming arm. "He…he did die. ARGUS killed him and…and my whole family!" Her arm raises back up, aiming for his chest. "Killed them with weapons your company provided!"

William lowers his head and sighs. He remembers that transaction well. The one done behind his back.

"I admit that Queen Industries provided ARGUS with high grade weaponry," William acknowledges. "But it was done by the board WITHOUT my knowledge. I dismantled as much of the operation as I could. As this." William spreads his arms around, showing off his suit to her. "I am sorry about Behrad. He was a good friend and a great hero. And I have NO DOUBT that you are making him proud." He walks up a few more steps, giving Zari a clear shot. "If you truly believe I deserve punishment, then do it. But afterwards, we need to stop a psychopath who remade reality into his own image before he can cause harm to other universes."

There is a long pause, William staring Zari down. Overtime, her face scrunches and her aiming arm shakes. Her teeth grit together, and she closes her eyes. Whatever is about to happen, William is prepared. He just hopes that she will do it quickly.

Eventually, Zari lets out a loud grunt and throws her arm down. The air in her hand disappears. William does not relax, however, knowing that this may only be her putting duty above revenge.

Everyone else breathes a sigh of relief, except for Mick, who smiles as if amused.

"Kid's got stones," Mick complements. "I like him already."

Zari starts walking to the hologram table but stops next to William. She whispers, "This ISN'T over."

William nods, whispering back, "I know."

With that, they both walk back to the holo table, as does most of the group. Sara, however, stops William for a moment.

"You have your father's stubbornness," she whispers roughly as if a bit frustrated at him. "You know that?"

William just smirks and whispers back, "Then I inherited one of his best qualities, Ms. Lance."

He then follows the group back to the table, resuming, "Now, as I was saying, I might know where Deegan is holding the Book of Destiny. If I know him, it would be the only place where he would feel the most secure and where he knows that Flash, Arrow, or any of the other heroes wouldn't be too familiar with."

"And that is?" Sara inquires as she walks to William's side.

He taps on an image he brought up before when telling the group of his adventure with Flash, Arrow, and the others. The one place with the most significant changes and improvements above everywhere else.

"Arkham Asylum."
