On The Jolly Rodger Captain Hook stood at the wheel staring out at the sea, then he reached in his pocket to take out the magic bean. He was about to throw it out but stopped and retrieved his hand. Hook then opened his fist and looked down at the bean.
The thought of Kenzie made him requestion his actions. Her voice was in his head telling him how she believed in him, that she believed that he could be a better person. What would Kenzie do? What would she say about leaving the others with no way to rescue Henry's father? He wondered.
He knew she would want to be saved but she wouldn't be happy about not helping the others either. But there was no other way around it. It was either save Kenzie or save Neal and he would rather save Kenzie. She didn't know about the But if he went to the others he was certain they'd want to save Neal due to how upset Henry will be.
"Hook, " a voice came from the beside him so he turned around. He was greeted by blonde hair and grey eyes glaring at him.
"Swan, " He said.
"Did you seriously think we would just let you getaway with the only bean we have? " She demanding pointing at him furiously.
"Hand it over, " she added holding to out her hand.
"No, if you want you're going to have to take it from me. And I wasn't using it for my own gain. I was going to use it to save Callie," he said.
"You expect me to believe that."
"Believe what you want. You can come with me if you want or get off my ship, " he ordered
"Why would I want to come with you?"
"Well I might need help, " he explained.
"You're serious about going to rescue Kenzie?" She questioned.
"Aye, so are you coming?"
"Well I want to save her but Neal is also lost, " she acknowledged.
"Neal knows more about magic and the fairytale world. Kenzie doesn't and she isn't just lost she has been kidnapped and by Ronan. I was unfortunate to meet him years ago and he is not someone you want to meet." He was growing in patient and hoped she would come with him.
"Fair point, " she said.
"So are you coming with me or not?" He asked.
"If he is bad as you say then you might need help, " Emma offered.
"So that's a yes?"
"Yeah."
Elsewhere
"Stop it let me go," ordered Kenzie trying to pull away, but it was no use. "Where are you taking me? Where is this?" She questioned. Ready to kick him when the opptunity rose.
Ronan dragged her across a golden beach and into the dense forest. "You'll see and Neverland, " he replied.
"Neverland as in the Neverland? " questioned Kenzie.
"Where else?" He said.
This really is Neverland and he has magic. He's from the fairytale world, Kenzie realized and her mouth opened wide as she let out a gasp. "No way, " she sighed. How had she never knew that about him? All this time he had been from the fairytale world and she never knew.
"Is that so hard to believe? You know about Storybrook, and magic already."
"My friends will come for me you know, " she stated ignoring what he just said. " And once they get me out of here you'll be sorry, " she threatened.
"You really think they'll save you. They'll be to busy saving the kid's father, they'll forget all about you, because isn't that what always happens? Your friends just forget about you," he declared with an evil grin.
"You'd think you would have finally learnt not to trust or depend on anyone, but yourself. But no you insist on finding the good in people and grow too attached, " he added in a mocked tone.
Kenzie could take no more, when they were further in the woods she stamped on his foot and kicked him when he tried to make a grab for her, but his hands lowered in pain clasped his crotch in pain. Using his moment of weakness she ran.
"You bitch," he shouted as Kenzie ran off into the woods.
After a few minutes she stopped in her tracks, trying to catch her breath and search for somewhere to hide. She found a bush and hurried behind it, hoping he wouldn't be able to find her.
What do I do now? She thought realising just how stuck she was. Without Ronan she was completely lost, but she prefered her chances without him. All she had to do was wait for a rescue. Would it even come?
His words played in her head. No, it will come, she told herself pushing his voice from her head. Someone would come, she was sure of it. They were her friends right? Surly they wouldn't just leave her here.
Her thoughts were cut short as she felt a sharp blade press it's self up against her neck. With her heart pounding and her body shaking she glanced up to see someone glaring down at her with sad and mischievous eyes. It was a young boy, aged about 13.
A lost boy? Kenzie realized.
"You're an adult. What are you doing here?" He questioned me, still holding the sword to her neck.
"I got dragged here, " she responsed. "Anyway, would you mind lowering you're sword? " she requested trying to sound calm, but her voice came off a little wobbly.
"Maybe, I should kill you or take you to pan, " he remarked not even acknowledging her request.
"You will do neither, let her go, " a terrible familiar voice came from behind her.
I thought I lost him, Kenzie thought letting out a groan. Though she didn't want to admit it she was slightly glad he found her and stopped this boy from trying to kill her.
"Ronan, you are back, " the boy pointed out.
"Obviously, and she is mine so let her go before I kill you, " he demanded.
"Fine," the boy sighed lowering his wand. " But Pan won't be happy when he finds out you brought her here, " he added.
"I don't care what he thinks, now be gone, " he ordered waving his hand in the air signaling for him to leave.
"I can't believe you kicked me, you'll pay for that and anyway don't run off again it's dangerous here, " he spoke as he came in front of Kenzie.
"Like you care if I get killed. You only want me alive for what evil plan you have, " Kenzie snapped, getting up off the floor.
"Whatever, come on, " he ordered as he took hold of her again.
"Like I have a choice, you crazy dick, " she hissed and let him lead her back to where ever he was taking her.
He pulled her through the woods until they approached a tree house. "Climb," he demanded when they reached the ladders.
"No, like I'm going to enter somewhere with you, " she declined.
"I'll kill your friends if you don't do as I say and you know I will. I did your mother, " he insisted.
"My mother's still alive, " revealed Kenzie.
"Well looks like I failed but I won't a second time. Now climb, " he said.
She let out a sigh and climbed the ladders reluctantly but she realized that if he wanted to kill her he could have done so already. It was best to just follow along and not try and escape again because she knew his threat was genuine.
He followed behind her and once up he made his way to a box. He took out some rope and approached Kenzie.
"You don't need to do that. I won't run off again, " she stammered stepping back.
"Well I can't take my chances, " he stated.
Kenzie tried to run but he stopped her and pushed her to the floor.
"It's like you want to anger me and hurt your friends."
"Why would I want that? I just don't want to be tied up or be here with you. You're crazy, " she shouted as she struggled to get away so he couldn't tie her up.
"Maybe, I am, " he agreed. " Right now you'll stay here till I get back, " he added once he had finished tying her feet and hands together and then started to walk towards the exit.
"You better not come back any time soon, " Kenzie called as he left. Then she just sighed and looked up to the ceiling. How did I get into this mess? Why me? Why does he have to target me? I'm not from the fairytale world. I'm just an ordinary girl. Whatever he wants has nothing to do with me, she thought.
