Azula was sorely tempted to curse when she woke up and found Teo missing.
"What on earth is he thinking?" she grumbled to herself as she followed the tracks from his wheels, "I swear, if he breaks his axle again I'm not fixing it for him, he can fix it his own darn self."
She caught a glimpse of him just up ahead, trying to figure out how to maneuver his chair over a particularly annoying clump of tree roots. He didn't even seem to notice the minotaur on the other side of the tree, axe held at the ready.
Azula almost shouted, but stopped herself just in time. The minotaur didn't seem to have noticed Teo yet. She had to be careful about this. She'd only have one shot to either take the minotaur down or draw it away from Teo. Carefully, ever so carefully, she started to pull up the lightning.
A massive gust of wind suddenly sent her flying. Azula tumbled like a leaf on the wind, using her fire to disrupt the air flow and let her land on the ground. She lashed out with a wave of fire before even looking at her opponent, but it never reached him, dissolved into nothing.
She took a moment to study her opponent. He was a young man, maybe three years older than her, dressed in armor like that of the Telmarines but missing any insignias of loyalty. His coloring was almost water tribe, but the shape of his face was all wrong for that, and his eyes were grey, rather than blue. He ran at her with a yell, sword in hand.
Azula met it with her own dagger, flames in her other hand. They grappled, fighting to keep each others weapons away from their skin.
"Wait!" Teo yelled. They both disengaged, turning to see him. The minotaur was helping lift him off the root he was stuck on as various other narnians emerged from the trees, "Azula, it's okay."
Azula raised her eyes to her opponent, who was looking gobsmacked. "Queen Azula?" he asked like he couldn't believe it.
"At your service," Azula curtsied primly, putting out her flame, "I do believe you called for us. Prince Caspian, I presume?"
"Yes," he didn't seem to know what to do with himself, "You are not quite what I expected." His accent was really weird, Azula had to note. All the same, it reminded her of something.
"Well neither are you!" Teo burst out as he rolled over and Suki, Laith, and the DLFcame down the path to join the standoff.
"What do you mean?" Suki asked, hand on her fans.
"Didn't you notice?" Teo asked, "He's an airbender."
