SOLDIERS
Ty Lee picks up her Kyoshi Warrior clothes and sets them back in her bag. She is getting ready for bed in Princess Azula's bedroom during her two weeks of leave away from Kyoshi Island. She misses her new home, but always loves her time with Azula.
Azula has stopped trying to convince Ty Lee to quit the Kyoshi Warriors; even her most dazzling of charm and manipulative tactics do not seem to work. She supposes she will take the time she has until Ty Lee realizes the right thing to do.
"Why did you join them, anyway?" demands Azula, crossing her arms as she sits on her bed in her sexiest of night clothes.
"The Kyoshi Warriors?" asks Ty Lee, blushing. She knows Azula hates her for doing it, even if they have rekindled their old spark in the past year and a half.
"Obviously." Azula rolls her eyes at the obtuse but marvelous girl she despises herself for falling in love with.
Ty Lee sits down on Azula's vanity table seat. She wrings her hands for a moment before deciding to let the full truth escape her lips.
"I guess I just wanted to believe in something, after I stopped believing in you. I was born to be a soldier. But I guess I became a different kind after we gave up on each other."
"Do you believe in me again?" asks Azula coolly.
"Yeah. I would follow you to Koh's Realm and back. But I love the Kyoshi Warriors, and I'm not ready to…" Ty Lee trails off. She knows this is pointless, and so she rises and kisses Azula softly on the cheek.
Azula claims her lips and they tumble, tumble, tumble together in bed.
It is easier than talking about what they broke in the past.
