Here is part two of Second Chances! I'm excited for this chapter.

Adrianna wanted to scream in frustration as she woke up to a camera in her face, again! This was getting ridiculous. Carver had turned their lives upside down, all for his own amusement it seemed. She quickly shoved the camera guy out of her room and got dressed. As she opened the door slowly and silently, she noticed that the camera man was gone. Exhaling a sigh of relief, Adrianna made her way through the Condor. She paused a moment when she noticed Stork staring intently at a glass cage.

"Stork?" Adrianna called softly as she approached Stork.

Stork looked up at the girl, before training his eyes back on the spider in its cage.

"Please tell me that is not what I think that is?" Adrianna asked with a sinking feeling.

"Oh, it is. It is a Scarlet-maw, razor-fanged arachnoid," Stork said happily.

"And you think that it is a good idea to have one on board?" Adrianna asked with a sigh, sometimes she felt like a mother and the Storm Hawks were her rowdy children.

"It's my new pet," Stork grinned.

"What's your new pet?" Carver asked as he walked into the room.

Adrianna quickly turned away from the disgraced Sky Knight. As he came closer, Adrianna quietly excused herself from the room. She didn't want to be anywhere near him.

"What's up with her?" Carver asked. So far, Junko and Piper had been very close lipped about the details of Adrianna's kidnapping.

"I don't know, but this, this is my deadliest pet in all of the Atmos," Stork said confidently.

"I heard that you guys rescued her from a kidnapping," Carver tried to prod.

Stork froze for a spilt second. Aerrow made them swear that they would never tell anyone outside of the Storm Hawks what they knew about Adrianna's past. So, thinking fast, Stork started talking about what a single bite could do to someone.

Carver wanted to growl in frustration as Stork refused to give him any information. Carver then excused himself from the room after he learned some useless information about a stupid spider. He needed more information, and not more information about useless topics. He needed a way to get the gorgeous girl to notice him and give him the time of day. So maybe, if he learned the details of her kidnapping he could play the sympathy card.

As he was walking, Carver came across Finn. Carver smiled immediately. Finn, Finn wouldn't be tight lipped about anything for him and he knew it. He could have Finn spill every dirty secret the Storm Hawks had.

"Hey Finn," Carver greeted happily.

"Hey," Finn said as he greeted his idol.

"You know, maybe you could help me," Carver said hopefully. "Ya see, I've been learning about all of you so that way I could be a better teammate. But I've learn next to nothing about Aerrow's older sister."

"Well, there's not much to know about her past. I mean she grew up in the same orphanage as the Piper and I. Then about seven years ago, I think, she disappeared. None of us knew where she went," Finn answered honestly.

"What about her recent history," Carver pushed. He wanted to know about the kidnapping, but he didn't want Finn to shut down like everyone else.

"Oh," was all that Finn said at first. His loyalty kept his mouth shut for once in his life. He knew that Adrianna's recent past, before she became a Storm Hawk was a closely guarded secret.

"I mean, I know about how all of you became Storm Hawks. And I was just hoping to learn about how Adrianna became a Storm Hawk," Carver stated innocently. "I mean I heard that you guys had to rescue her."

"Yeah, we did," Finn stated, as he embellished his part in the rescue.

"I mean you must have been a huge help. Probably even saving Adrianna yourself," Carver said with a smile on his face.

"You got that right," Finn stated as he was practically lost in his own world. "If it hadn't been for me, we wouldn't have been able to snap Junko out of his daze and rescue Aerrow and Adrianna from Cyclonis' clutches."

"Really?" Carver asked with an eye roll. He was pretty sure they would have made it out just fine. "How did Aerrow get captured?"

"I'm not really sure, but he had Adrianna and Aerrow face off against one another, though they called her Lilith," Finn muttered. "But then Aerrow was able to convince Adrianna who he was and we rescued her."

"Amazing," Carver said as his mind got to work putting all the details in order. "I had no idea you and the rest of the Storm Hawks were so heroic."

"I know," Finn stated triumphantly.

"So, you mean-" whatever Carver was going to say was interrupted by Piper as the door opened.

"Hey guys, the camera crew were hoping for some more action shots again today," Piper said happily. She hadn't overheard anything from the two-guy's conversation.

"Sweet," Finn said excitedly.

That night everyone was sitting on the couch, getting themselves comfortable to watch the highlight reel that was to air in the morning. They all got the first chance to see it.

"The Storm Hawks, despite having saved Atmos numerous times, yet they've remained largely unknown. But that is until recently. That's when Sky Knight, Carver joined the team, and they've never been more popular," Guy stated as he started off the highlight reel. "Expert fliers, their airborne skills are razor sharp. Dangerous stunts, no problem for our heroes."

Both Adrianna and Aerrow winced as they watched the horrible scene unfold. When Aerrow's skimmer failed Adrianna had been lucky enough to have been following the group from behind and had caught him and Radarr before they could get hurt. Adrianna had been ticked that no one noticed Aerrow's distress. The rest of the team had been too busy showing off for the camera.

"What will Carver do? Will he join the Storm Hawks full time? Only time will tell," Guy continued. "These heroes don't just get into adventure, they eat, breathe, and live adventure."

The next shot showed them in the waste lands battling creatures, an idea of Carver's. He wanted a lot of adventure shots. When Aerrow hadn't been able to get his swords out of the scabbards on his back, Adrianna had become worried and stuck close to her brother. She knew that there shouldn't have been a problem. Like her swords, the swords he used had been a gift from their dad and that meant everything was cleaned and taken care of. If his sword was stuck, it meant that someone had tampered with it. But luckily, she and Junko had no trouble battling the creature away.

"And with team work, everyone pulls their weight. No weak links on the Storm Hawks," Guy finished saying before pictures filled through at the end. There was a full team photo. One of Stork and Junko hanging out on the Condor. Piper and Finn arguing. Adrianna and Aerrow laughing together. Radarr pulling a prank on Finn. Piper wearing shades with Junko, trying to look cool. And the last one was of Carver kissing Adrianna on the cheek. Luckily for Carver, they didn't have another photo of Carver with a black eye and his cheek swelling.

"I think we came off pretty good," Carver said happily. He looked like a hero, and Aerrow looked like a loser. And on the plus side, he even got to give Adrianna a kiss on the cheek and everyone was going to see it.

The other Storm Hawks let out cheers of approval, all except for the set of siblings. Everyone then filed out of the room to get back to doing whatever they normally would be doing around this time. Everyone that is except for Aerrow, Piper and Adrianna.

"What is it Aerrow?" Piper asked innocently as she noticed the sour look on her leader's face.

"I'm getting a little fed up with Carver," Aerrow said. "It's one thing to want to regain people's trust but he's doing it at our expense."

"Our expense?" Piper asked confused. "Aerrow, the only one who seems to be suffering is you. I've never known you to be so clumsy. Is everything okay?"

"I think Carver is out to get me," Aerrow stated honestly.

"Sounds to me like you're just a little jealous," Piper laughed.

"I'm not jealous," Aerrow said as he started to get upset. "I don't trust him and I'm going to find out what his game is."

"Piper, you should go," Adrianna whispered to the younger girl. Piper clearly wasn't helping the situation. After Piper left, Adrianna stood up to face her brother. "You don't think that Carver has changed, do you?" she asked.

"No, I don't," Aerrow said as he looked at his sister.

"So, what's your plan?" Adrianna asked.

"I don't know, but I need to expose him as the one who is behind the sabotage of my skimmer and swords," Aerrow stated angrily. He was furious that his swords had been damaged.

"I need you to promise me that you're going to be careful," Adrianna said. "Carver never was under any mind control, so that would mean he's level headed and dangerous right now."

"You never believed he had his mind tampered with, did you?" Aerrow asked.

"No, I didn't," Adrianna sighed as she sat back down on the couch.

Aerrow wasted no time in sitting beside his sister.

"As I told you Master Cyclonis, was creating a crystal to warp peoples' minds. I believe that I was the first person she ever used it on. So, Carver's fall from grace was because of his own twisted thoughts, not Cyclonis'," Adrianna said as she stared at the floor.

"So, we need to find a way to expose him of fraud," Aerrow said as he remembered everything his sister had told him from her time as Lilith.

"Yes, but we have to be careful. I'm going to bed, and so should you," Adrianna said as she stood up.

"Nah, I'm going to go finish fixing my skimmer," Aerrow said as he stood up and stretched.

"Promise me that you'll be careful with Carver," Adrianna said.

"I'll be careful," Aerrow promised as he walked to the door.

Nodding to herself, Adrianna made her way to her room. She was ready for bed after a long day of putting up with Carver.

The next morning, as she awoke, Adrianna felt that something was wrong. Showering quickly, Adrianna ran to the bridge hoping to find her brother and the others.

"Where's Aerrow?" Adrianna demanded as she looked around the room to see everyone looking upset. When no one answered, Adrianna started to get mad. "Where is my brother?" she demanded again.

This time, Junko handed her the flyer he had been looking at.

Fall from Grace! Storm Hawk leader and Sky Knight, Aerrow is behind bars for being controlled by Master Cyclonis. Carver, the new leader of the Storm Hawks assures everyone that Aerrow is safely behind bars where he can't do any harm in the name of Cyclonis. Carver said that he will carry on the legacy of the Storm Hawks in Aerrow's absence until he is fully recovered. Carver also stated that Adrianna, older sister to Aerrow, is taking the blow the hardest. She couldn't believe that her brother was under Cyclonis' control. But she had confided in him that Aerrow had been acting strange.

Adrianna couldn't read any more of the article, she was so mad. "Carver," she seethed with rage as he walked onto the bridge. "I'm going to go see my brother," she hissed as she headed for the door. She knew that if she spent time with the man, she was going to end up happily killing the man.

"No, you're not," Carver ordered. "I'm your Sky Knight and that means I'm in charge. So that means we forget about Aerrow and we move on."

"You forget, I'm also a Sky Knight. I was also assigned co-leader with Aerrow. So that means if he is gone, I'm in charge, not you," Adrianna hissed in rage.

"You're emotionally compromised and so that means the position goes to me," Carver said. "Aerrow would want me in charge and for you all to move on."

"You have no idea what he would have wanted!" Adrianna yelled. She lunged for the traitor, but Junko was able to grab her.

"Aerrow is finished, get over it," Carver said as he smashed the mind control crystal.

Adrianna was still trying to claw her way to Carver as he left the room. She was ready to kill him for what he had done. She knew he was the reason her brother had been locked up.

Hours later, she was still angry, but at least she wasn't in a blind rage any more. As she was walking through the Condor when she spotted Radarr and her brother trying to slink through the halls as quietly as they both could. Gaining both of their attention, the three made it to a room to talk.

"How?" was all Adrianna was able to get out as she hugged her brother tightly.

"Radarr sprang me from jail and has a plan," Aerrow said as he returned the hug.

Aerrow and Radarr quickly explained their plan. And Adrianna immediately agreed to help in any way possible.

Adrianna stumbled upon the group just as Carver destroyed Piper's proof about Carver.

"That's a not so friendly reminder of who the Sky Knight is around here," Carver said maliciously.

"You're not the Sky Knight around here," Adrianna seethed as she unsheathed Helios.

"Aerrow was right the whole time," Piper stated as everything clicked into place in her brain.

"You're a little late. It seems a scarlet-maw, razor-fanged arachnoid got loose in his cell," Carver stated happily. "Oops."

Stork gasped in shock and everyone else had varying degrees of horror on their face. Adrianna just glared at Carver in utter rage. He just admitted that he had tried to kill he brother.

"If that is true, then Aerrow is doomed," Stork shouted in horror.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that Stork," Aerrow stated as he appeared behind his sister.

Carver started stuttering and muttering as he tried to piece together how Aerrow was standing there alive and Adrianna looking very smug.

"I have Radarr to thank for springing me from prison," Aerrow said happily. "As for the spider, Stork, it turns out that this is a scarlet-maw, tickle fang."

Adrianna wanted to burst out laughing. Sure, he had told her the first time it wasn't deadly. But come on, it was just hilarious to hear it again.

"The non-poisonous kind," Stork said in defeat. "That's disappointing, in a glad you're alive sorta way."

"I say we take him back to prison now," Adrianna stated. She was ready to have the traitor thrown off the Condor and out of their lives.

"Master Cyclonis will be disappointed that your big plan crashed and burned," Aerrow stated as he faced Carver.

Carver started laughing before he said, "Her? Cyclonis has nothing to do with this. It's all about you and me. It's about payback."

"If you want Aerrow, you're going to have to go through me," Adrianna said as she intercepted the strike meant for Aerrow.

"Let's take him down," Aerrow said as he slid around Adrianna.

The three started exchanging blows. Aerrow and Adrianna working in perfect harmony with each other. Each strike was careful and precise as they fought against Carver.

"I underestimated you the first time we met," Carver said as he locked blades with Aerrow as Adrianna waited for her strike behind her brother.

The two unlocked their blades and Adrianna came in with her sword.

"I have a few new moves," Carver said as he parried her blow.

"I have moves you've never even seen," Adrianna said as she leapt back for Aerrow to come in.

The three were so wrapped up in the fight, that they didn't notice that the Condor had started moving. The set of siblings were just so wrapped up in defending and keep Carver at bay. Carver was in his own world as he thought he was beating them. Carver then got in a lucky shot a was able to knock Aerrow off his feet and sent his two blades from his hands.

Adrianna, with Carver between the two of them, locked eyes with Aerrow before he rolled off the Condor. She let out a gasp before she realized that the Condor had stopped moving. She slashed Helios at Carver, before she jumped off the Condor in the same spot Aerrow rolled off from.

"You two can't run from me," Carver stated at he jumped down to join them on the ground. He then preformed his special attack, knocking the two to the ground. Adrianna was up in an instant. She was unsure if the reporter was there or not, but she wasn't going to let her or her brother get hurt anyways. "It wasn't easy you know. Convincing everyone that I was under mind control with a phony crystal," he seethed as he parried a blow from Adrianna and then knocked the butt of his blade into her skull, effectively sending her down to the ground. He stepped over the dazed Sky Knight and grabbed the front of Aerrow's uniform and hauled him closer. "I'm disappointed that none of my earlier attempts to do you in worked. But I knew I would get you in the end. After all, the big hero always wins."

Aerrow's face went from seemingly scared to smug as soon as Carver finished. "Did you get all that?" Aerrow asked.

"Every frame!" Guy shouted with excitement. "This is the biggest scoop of my life. Say, thanks for the tip Radarr."

"You, you tricked me!" Carver shouted in rage.

"Time to take you home Carver, back to Terra Atmosia Stockade," Aerrow said happily. "Oh, and this is for hurting my sister." Aerrow then gathered his thoughts as he performed his Sky Knight move. "Aerrow two, Carver zero!"

"You sound happy," Adrianna said as she tried to get her baring's as she sat on the ground.

"Come on, let's get you look at," Aerrow said as he helped her to stand up.

"No, I want him locked up where he can't do anymore harm," Adrianna stated firmly.

"You need a doctor, he got you pretty good," Aerrow tried to reason with his sister as he inspected the bruise forming on her temple.

"You can take me to the doctor's after we get him behind bars," Adrianna insisted. She wanted to be rid of the traitor.

"Fine, let's get him dropped off then," Aerrow said as he helped Adrianna on board. He fully trusted that Junko and Finn could handle getting Carver on board.

A short amount of time later, the Storm Hawks arrived at the Terra Atmosia Stockade to drop off Carver.

"Here's your prisoner," Aerrow said happily as he handed over Carver to a guard to be locked up.

"I'm sorry for locking you up," the warden apologized. It didn't sit well with him that the good Sky Knight had been locked up. No matter what others said.

"It's okay," Aerrow said as he shook hands with the warden.

"He wants to talk with her," the guard stated to the Storm Hawks as he pointed a finger at Adrianna as he returned from locking up Carver.

"About what?" Aerrow bristled.

"He didn't say. All the prisoner said was that he'd only talk to the Sky Knight Adrianna," the guard said unhappily. He didn't like being ordered around by the prisoners.

"Fine," Adrianna said. She wasn't dizzy anymore. She was not looking forward to talking with Carver, but she knew that the sooner this talk was over, the sooner they could leave. "Lead the way."

"You don't have to talk with him," Aerrow said gently as he grabbed her arm.

"I know, but the sooner I get the conversation over, the sooner we get to leave," she pointed out as she removed her brother's hand. She then followed the guard towards Carver's cell.

"You have five minutes," the guard stated as he walked away.

"The lovely Sky Knight graces me with her presences," Carver said as he gave the girl a mock bow.

"We may have five minutes, but I'm leaving in two," Adrianna stated. She was in no mood to be mocked.

"I'll make this quick then shall I," Carver stated with a grin. "As I was with you Storm Hawks, I learned a few things. 1: if anyone wants information they should ask Finn. 2: I should have listened to Kieran about you being protective. 3: Lilith, Master Cyclonis' newest pet, disappeared around the same time Adrianna appeared. And finally, 4: you, my beautiful dear, are Lilith, Master Cyclonis' pet."

Adrianna ran from the prison cell. She kept running, trying to outrun the laughter she had heard from Carver. She was trying to outrun Lilith. She didn't stop running until she was on board the Condor and safely locked in her room. 'No, no, no, I'm not Lilith. I'm not that monster,' she said in her mind.

'But you are that monster,' a small part of her whispered. 'After all, it was because of us we destroyed a Terra. It was because of us; all the Sky Knights were captured. We are a monster,' the voice whispered that sounded like Lilith.

"No, I'm not her," Adrianna said out loud, trying to drown out the voice in her head.

"You're a monster and you'll always be one," Lilith said as she briefly took over.

"No, go away!" Adrianna shouted as she placed her hands over her ears in attempt to drown out the voice. She felt like such a child. She felt scared and alone with a monster that was going to eat her.

"Addie?" Aerrow asked concerned as he knocked on the door to his sister's room. As she had come running from the cell block, Aerrow and the rest of the Storm Hawks apologized before they too ran after their teammate. He hadn't been surprised to find his sister locked away in her room. But he was surprised to find her talking to herself and using different tones. One sounded like his sister and the other sounded like the person he briefly met on Cyclonia.

"Go away," Adrianna shouted in fear. She didn't know what she was capable at the moment and she didn't want her other self lashing out at Aerrow.

Aerrow had never been good at listening to his sister. So instead, he pushed open her door to find her huddled in the corner again.

"Aerrow, please just go away. I don't want… I don't want to hurt you," she cried as she tried to make herself smaller as she huddled in the corner of her room.

"I'm not leaving you," Aerrow stated as he sat down beside his sister.

"Please," Adrianna begged as the tears streaked her cheeks.

"I'm not leaving you to deal with this demon alone. That's not what family's do," Aerrow said as he continued to sit there.

Family, that word alone sent her over the edge. She started full out crying and couldn't get a grip on her emotions.

"Family," Lilith hissed as she was able to take over. "Our family is broken and gone."

Aerrow stiffened, he wanted to get mad again like he had all those years ago when she first told him that statement. But he relaxed quickly because he knew that this wasn't his sister talking. Aerrow put his arms around his sister and hugged her. He hugged her tightly. "Yes, mom and dad are gone. But you and I are still here. We have each other and now we have the rest of the Strom Hawks. We have a family again and I don't care what you say, we are staying together."

Adrianna hiccupped as Aerrow's words sunk in. There was something in his words that chased Lilith away from the controls of her. Aerrow's words were able to make Lilith withdraw into the depths of Adrianna's mind where she would wait for her next chance. In that moment, Adrianna realized how much she needed Aerrow. He was able to chase away the demon living inside of her. She needed him.

Evil laugh here! Carver has now set things in motion! Please read and review!
