Hello everyone. I'm sorry for not being on for a long time. I'm finally over my carpal tunnel surgeries, and my move was a success...altho I almost tore up my arms from moving so damn much...but I'm back for now and I will finally put out the long awaited chapter..if any of you amazing people are still reading. But that's okay. I'm back and hopefully gonna get into this. It might be short just to clarify.

Amy slowly opened her eyes from sleep seeing only a white tiled ceiling above her. It was hazy, but she could almost see a long circular line with hooks and a curtain. Looking around at her surroundings, she quickly noticed a large box with tons of buttons and a screen showing a zigzagging line. On her left was a large window overlooking the city outside, it seemed that she was on a second, or third story building. Sitting up slowly, Amy groaned from the pain all around her body, but also felt some weird itchy fabric where she felt her aches. She looked down to see a white gown around her body including a few bandages here and there. A long tube was connected to her hand and to a tall medal stand holding a bag of what looked to be water.

"Am I...in a hospital?" she quietly gasped.

"That's right, miss." Her eyes turned to the door where she saw a tall yellow colored duck wearing a doctor's coat and gray scrubs underneath. He had a stethoscope wrapped around his neck and a white clipboard in hand. He smiled kindly to the curious young lady, "No need to be worried. I'm Dr. Quack. You've been asleep for a long time, Miss Amy."

As he walked over to her bed, Amy could only watch while she talked, "What happened to me? Where are my friends? How long was I out?" she asked continuously feeling a little nervous for her friends.

The doctor began to write a few words on a piece of paper clipped to the clipboard, "Well...you've been here for about a couple days, but you have been asleep for at least nine hours," he answered while in the corner of his eye, he could see the shock on her face, "We don't know what had happened to you, but the police did ask for your interview once you have woken up and felt a little better."

Amy laid her head in her hands feeling so terrified that if the police had been involved, then her friends, and Sonic might've been in massive amount of trouble. Where the hell was Scourge and Sally? Did they get in trouble, too? What if her mother found out? The heart monitor started to beep a bit faster as she continued to almost have a panic attack right there. She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder prompting her head to look up to a smiling face, "Don't be scared, Miss Amy. Everything will be okay." Dr. Quack assured.

"But...I'm scared. I never dealt with the police before. And I'm afraid of what mom will say about this.." she quivered.

He nodded, "I understand. Things like this are hard to deal with, but I'll be here to help you in case you need me to step in. Your mother will help you, too. It all depends on what you say, or do."

Amy slowly looked away from him. She still didn't want to talk to any of them, nor her mother. She did something wrong and illegal which might get her arrested, or fined. The latter wouldn't be bad, but it will be hard to get her mother to help raise the money she needed. With a small nod, Dr. Quack nodded and turned away from her walking out with no words needed. He left her alone again to think about her answers, but now, Amy was wondering what had happened back at the forest. She could clearly remember falling down a rough hill and hitting her head hard a couple times. Yet she couldn't remember if what she saw before blacking out was a monster, or a normal person. All she could remember is her body shut down from stress and the fall, yet her body being picked up and carried off.

"...Was...Was that...?" she couldn't speak with lack of any answers from that night. Hopefully, she'll be out soon and will talk to her friends about it and pray that their punishments won't be so harsh.

Later, the police and her mother came in to see her. They asked their questions, got some info on Scourge and his gang, then left the room before Amy's mother began to berate her on why she was gone, why she left to the forest, and how long she will be grounded. Amy just sucked it up till it was over and done with. Boy was she wrong.. After a couple days later, Amy was able to finally return home. Dr. Quack made sure to give them notes on what to to do during her healing process back home.

Her mother immediately told her to go upstairs and rest, well in Amy's mind, she meant, "Go upstairs, cause your grounded!". With a sigh, she did what she was told and walked up to her room. She really missed her place, even though the hospital wasn't all bad, the food did need to be a little better, and she missed her things from her room to keep her occupied than just a phone, or television. Once she opened the door, Amy walked in, closed it behind her, then made her way over to her bed before flopping down on her stomach letting out a loud sigh. Three months with no computer, and less time with her phone was bad enough since she did most of her school studies on her MackBook. Not to mention a small three hundred dollar fine for trespassing on illegal land was enough to get her to go into debt till she was out of school. Luckily, her mother bailed her out, but that means dirty dishes, cleaning the house, and other things to pay off that fine.

Luckily she and her friends had less. They had equal fines, but Scourge might have more for running away from the cops and trespassing. She really felt sorry for Sonic who is now dealing with that pervert. Speaking of which, her pocket vibrated making the young lady jump slightly. Amy sat up carefully and swung her legs over the edge. She dug into her jeans pocket and slipped out her phone to see Sonic calling her. She let out a happy sigh, then answered with a small, "Hello?"

'Amy?' Sonic's voice echoed on the other side of the call, 'Are you home now?'

She smiled, "Yeah..I'm in my room for three months.." she groaned.

Sonic let out a low groan himself, 'You, too, huh? Well, Scourge is grounded from his phone, and car keys while I'm stuck at home for the time being..parents suck.' Amy giggled.

"I know, but it shows that they care. So how are Sally and Cream?"

'Sally is a little better. I heard she got chewed out by her folks, but she's all good. Cream is grounded for two months...lucky. But they're doing okay. We all need to pay a fine while Sally and Cream got a warning...'

Amy nodded, "I understand. But we'll get through this. I'm just glad we're still safe, and not dealing with any more dares."

'No kidding. Hey, do you remember anything that night?' Amy blinked.

"Pardon?"

'That night? The police was about to drive off without you, but you suddenly came out of the forest way after us. Where were you?'

She had to pause for a few seconds. Her mind was still on that figure who saved her, but she couldn't think up of any solid answer for her, or Sonic, "I'm not really sure...but all I could remember is that this "thing" was...tall."

'...Tall? Slenderman?' Sonic chuckled a bit.

"No! I mean tall like a tree, but it looked like...I don't know! Just tall!"

'Alright! Alright! I believe ya! Sheesh... Well whatever it was, it must've thought you were less of a target and brought you back to the entrance. Yet I'm kinda curious on what it actually was. Scourge tried to get pictures, apparently, but they never showed up well...'

She rolled her eyes, "I'm just glad I'm not gonna give him an unwanted boner with some disgusting suit..."

"Amy! I told you not to talk on your phone! Get off right now!" Amy's fur stood up from the disappointed shout, but groaned much loudly this time.

"Sonic, I gotta go...mom's forcing me off the phone..."

'I hear ya. Well, I'll hopefully talk to you, or see you soon. Love ya, babe.'

She smiled, "Love you, too." she made a small kissing sound before hanging up. She dropped her phone down to her side, then plopped her back onto the bed with her arms sprawled out.

Thinking about the weird being, it looked tall enough to be a tree, and the top was almost like a hedgehog's head, but she could swore she saw red piercing eyes staring down at her. They looked confused...maybe concern? Whatever it was, she wanted to find out. It was eating her brain alive just trying to piece together of what this being is, and why it decided to either spare her, or even save her. It could've just left her there to either die from the cold, or starve because she was out for a couple days. In any case, she wanted to at least find this thing and maybe see about thanking it for saving her. But doing so...she would need to sneak out, yet again...

The next day, Amy was scheduled out of school to recover. Her mother tried calling work off, but she had to go in. She didn't trust her home at all because she was afraid she would sneak out again. Amy kept persisting and pestering her about trusting her again and will never leave the house. She did told her about Scourge and his foolish dare, and it did made her worry for her daughter's safety, but she was still unsure about leaving Amy alone. She wanted to at least take her to her grandparents' house. That did not settle with her daughter at all. With little time to spare, and less time to get any calls to watch her, she was forced to let Amy stay home alone for the time being, but will be furious if she finds her gone, or even hears that she is outside of her house.

Amy reluctantly told her that she'll begin her chores to make up for the three hundred fine. Her mother gave her a hug and a kiss goodbye before leaving the house. Amy waited for about an hour after she watched her mother's car pulling out of the driveway, then quickly took out her backpack and put in what she needed. Amy packed in her cell phone, a notebook, a pencil, a pepper spray bottle, and a kitchen knife. Then hoisted the bag over her shoulder, and rushed out of her bedroom, then the house. Amy entered the garage and unlocked her dirt bike from the side of the car space. She opened the side door of the garage, then dragged her bike out before closing and locking the door. Then quickly got on and pushed off the pavement to bike out of the front yard, and down the road. She quietly prayed to any God that her mother won't return early, or any time for lunch. She even kept her thoughts on the time she needed to get back home. She made sure to ride as fast as she could so she wouldn't waste any time, nor will be stopped by anyone who might know her from school, or know her mother, not to mention stopped by any policeman that might be in that area of the forest. Her eyes were forward and determined to get tot he forest.

After at least a half hour later, Amy finally made her way to Black Hill Forest with no one following, or questioning her motives. She quickly skidded to a stop right at the entrance making her head jolt from how hard the gravel was to stop on. Letting out a quiet sigh, Amy looked up at the trees now in the daylight, it looked less scary from the outside, but who knows how bad it might still be on the inside. She climbed off her bike, then moved it up to one of the larger trees with a couple bushes surrounding the bottom of the trunk, then placed her bike behind the bush so it was hidden from anyone who would even look up at the place. With a small sigh, Amy turned to the entrance again only to stare right through with an uneasy feeling. Even though she was prepared, she still wasn't sure if this was a good plan, or a plan that might send her to an early grave.

But she wanted answers didn't she? She wanted to at least find this person, or thing. Who knows, it might let her go again if it catches her. Taking in a deep breath, Amy slowly let out shaking a bit cause of her nerves, "...Okay...let's get this done." she said assertively as she forced her legs to move on in, hopefully not to her future death.
