Nazar and Lucio flew at each other with all their might. Attacking with a flurry of punches and kicks, Nazar had an advantage to Lucio.

Lucio attacked back with a few side kicks and back-hands on Nazar. It wasn't much damage, but Nazar could feel that he was exerting a lot of strength to the point where he noticed he was getting slow in blocking.

"Like I said before, old man!" He flew rapidly towards Nazar and gave him a huge glowing energy beam to the face. "You're getting weaker!"

Nazar snapping back to reality from that, tried to think of a strategy in getting Lucio out of the public's eye. It was his mission not to let anyone be killed by Lucio.

Everyone in the district they're fighting in was rampaging in the streets. Destroyed buildings all around and nowhere else to go. Children crying because they lost their parents and cannot find them. Nazar could hear all of it, like a sixth sense to him.

"Stop this madness no, Lucio. If you know what's best for you, I'd suggest giving up." Nazar pleaded.

"Never." He replied nonchalantly.

There was a pause as the two beings stared at each other intensely.

They flew at each other again, this time Nazar was willing to put his new strategy to good use. He reopened the portal by holding out his hands, the one where Carmelita Fox fell in, in front of him, letting Lucio enter it.

Nazar rapidly entered it as well and closed the portal.

[Portal world: Desert Location]

Carmelita was walking for who knows how long. It was miles upon miles of sand.

"Great, he's a real genius that 'Warrior of the Universe'. Putting me here for my 'safety'," scowled the Inspector.

"Where the hell am I anyway?" She asked herself that as she continuously hoped to find some form of shelter or even a village.

Few miles away...

Movements of high speed clash creating godly shockwaves and sand blowing in the air.

Nazar and Lucio monstrously use their full strength, like never before.

Lucio punched and fired more energy beams while this time Nazar was using illusions, clones, and his sword all to deflect and attack Lucio.

"Die, old man!" Lucio screamed while creating a strange energy ball in the palm of his hand that appears to be black and white at the same time.

He launched the energy ball, hoping it'll be the final blow to Nazar, but it didn't. Nazar quickly slashed it with his sword like it was nothing.

"That was my..." Lucio was shocked that he was able to that.

"You and I aren't equals in strength. Just because Shadowis trained you, doesn't mean you're strong," stated Nazar.

Lucio was about to say something, but immediately sensed another presence on the planet, another person other than Nazar. 'Don't tell me...' He knew immediately who this person was, the one he was trying to kill on Earth.

Nazar quickly noticed this and yelled "Wait...!"

It was too late Lucio flew at a fast pace to the direction where Carmelita was.

A few seconds later...

Carmelita was still walking, feeling the extreme heat all over her body. She looked up to the sky only for one minute to see how clear it was and what was weird about it was that it didn't have any clouds...

'That's very weird... No clouds...' she thought to herself.

She lowered her head and continued walking in the same direction she was going. The thirst for water was getting stronger and she wasn't sure how long she could survive this heat.

"Hey, you!" Someone called out to her from above.

She got startled and rose her head up to look at the sky again. This time it was a figure flying towards her.

Realizing in mere seconds, she put together who was calling her, Lucio.

'Why is he here?!' she thought, feeling afraid for in a long time. Although not as powerful, she fired her shock blaster at Lucio. She kept firing about 6 or 7 shots as he kept descending towards her with a creepy smirk on his face.

"You... lover of Sly Cooper has been selected to be executed by, yours truly!" Lucio shouted as he prepared the same energy ball he tried using against Nazar.

Carmelita was definitely afraid, her body shaking to her core to the point where she fell to the ground and dropped her weapon.

The mad man's smirk washed away when he was delivered by a greeting hook punch to the face by Nazar from behind.

The punch sent Lucio flying across west from where Carmelita and Nazar were.

Nazar quickly reopened the portal again, grabbed Carmelita while jumping into the portal back to Earth.

[Paris; Earth]

They landed back to the same area where he and Lucio originally fought.

He extended his hands out and closed them as he did that the portal to that desert location closed.

Carmelita was trying to grasp all that happened. She never felt this way before in her life.

Nazar reached out to her with a hand and asked if she was okay.

The inspector didn't want to say anything of importance, but she only gave a little nod by shaking her head up and down.

He felt terrible for putting the inspector in such a situation.

"Is he a part of the Masters of Doom?" She asked, a shake in her voice.

"Yes." Nazar paused. "He's actually Shadowis's apprentice."

This shocked Carmelita, 'His apprentice!?'

"If he's that strong, then how you are able to defeat Shadowis?" Carmelita asked, starting to regain some form of confidence in herself.

"With the help of the heroes, of course. I cannot let this stand by no longer. However, you need to me a favor." Nazar requested.

"And that is?"

"Do not talk about this with your colleagues." He suggested.

This surprised Inspector Fox, but also angered her. "You know I cannot do that!"

Nazar gave no response.

"You know everything there is about the Masters of Doom, so why hide it from us especially since this doesn't just affect...," she paused and touched the bridge of her nose, "Look I don't know how it is with your alien rules or whatever, but this affects everyone in the galaxy, universe, and you're withholding information that may help us in this the long run." 'Especially with ring-tail', an image of Cooper appeared in her mind for a brief second.

"You really want to know everything, huh?" He remarked.

"It's my job to know everything." She confidently said, trying to shake off the fear she experienced.

Nazar paused not sure how to begin this. "I told you everything about myself and Shadowis. What I didn't tell you is why the Masters of Doom were formed or what they're after."

"I see. Go on." Carmelita processing what he was about to tell her.

[Hospital; Jak's Homeworld]

Ratchet and Clank got some food from the hospital and were eating in the waiting area. (Although Ratchet was the one who needed to eat since he was a living organism).

"Very intriguing this world is. Don't you think so, Ratchet?" Clank asked, while swaying his metal legs back-and-forth while sitting in the chair.

"Yeah, it sure is, pal. However, I don't seem to remember a planet that doesn't have space travel to other galaxies." Ratchet said while having precaution lookout for any enemy.

"You seem a bit tense or worried about something. Is it about Aphelion?" Clank asked, worried about his best friend.

"Well, not only that. It's about Talwyn." Ratchet mentioned.

"Ah... Miss Apogee. I wonder how she's doing in all of this mess. Hopefully, she isn't too worried about us. We should contact her immediately." Clank added.

"Yeah, I hope so, too, pal." Ratchet agreed with Clank and wondered if Talwyn was searching for them.

"Hey, do you remember that giant robot that attacked us in outer space before we crashed landed onto this planet?" Ratchet asked.

Clank replied "Yes, why do you ask?"

"Did we ever mention to the others on what that was?"

"No, but how is it relevant to bring it up? We are still stuck here either way." Clank added.

"Well, what if the Masters of Doom made that robot and attacked us?" Ratchet persuaded his metal friend.

"I see your point. But there's one problem. The robot was only in space, it could've just been a malfunction on the robot. It didn't even bother attacking us while we're on this planet." Clank countered.

"We still need to inform the others on how we got here though. We were so caught up on the Masters of Doom and Shadowis, we immediately forgot about it." Ratchet stated.

"I agree with that, but how would they know what the robot looks like?"

"Don't you have like an image-processor where we can rewind your memory. They can see the robot from there."

"Ah, about that? I forgot to update that." Clank said, chuckling while being afraid of Ratchet's reaction.

"Clank!" astonished Ratchet.

"I'm only kidding. I'll try to get it as soon as we arrive to Jak's room." Clank said

Ratchet calmed down a bit and scowled Clank for such a terrible joke, though he had to admit that was good one and reminded himself to one similar to him later on.

[Hospital room]

Sly went back to Jak's room where he saw him still awake and just staring blankly at the ceiling.

The ring-tail only walked around the hospital, trying to calm himself down from his nightmare. He didn't even feel like eating anything.

"So, tell me other than this hero business you're in, what else do you do?" Sly asked, trying to make conversation.

"Well, I hang out with my friends and party sometimes. It's nothing much, but I save the world as much I can." Jak replied with certainty.

"You know on my planet Earth," Sly never thought he had to say in his entire life, "I miss stealing from other thieves. Times were so much simpler."

"You're telling me..." Jak paused. "I remember when I came from the past into this future fighting an evil dictator and MetalHeads."

"Oh so you time traveled? And MetalHeads?" Sly was perplexed by Jak's adventures or maybe he just loves to listen heavy metal music.

"Time traveling here was a pain. MetalHeads are another story for another time." Jak explained vaguely. Wondering about that more, Sly knew it was best to leave the conversation for now.

"Where's Ratchet?" Jak asked. Sly told him that he was getting hospital food.

Sly sat down and went into his mind for a bit. He was thinking about Carmelita and how she was doing, especially after what happened on Earth with Shadowis. When he sees that monster again, he'll regret that he ever messed with the Cooper Gang.

Jak broke him out of his thoughts and proceeded to talk about other stuff about what they liked and didn't like. Overall, they were making good friends out of each other.

[Apartment; Jak's Homeworld]

Bentley was trying match the Purple Dragon symbol he saw on MX's chest on anything he could find as a resource.

"Ah, geez, if only I had that little robot guy to help me here..." He groaned.

Murray, however, was having the time of his life, enjoying the great food brought upon him by the refrigerator.

"Yov nheed ani hepp, BVentlley?" He said with food in mouth, spilling little crusts onto the floor.

"Don't talk with your mouth full, Murray. And yes, I do need your help, but I don't how you could help me." Bentley said while typing fast on his laptop.

He groaned loudly in frustration. "Dang it! What does this symbol mean?!"

Murray looked at Bentley was doing up close and saw the Purple Dragon symbol.

"Hey, that symbol! I saw it around the boxes of the Masters of Doom back on Earth!" Murray exclaimed.

"What?" Bentley couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"I saw it on their boxes, back at the warehouse. Weird-looking symbol." Murray explained.

"Their boxes?!" Bentley astonished.

"Yeah, remember they had a lot of boxes with that symbol and then that Mr. L guy went all bonkers." Murray added.

"I think I remember seeing that, but barely. If I could get back to Earth and match the symbol here with their boxes, I might be onto something big!" Bentley shouted, excited that he has a clue that was leading to somewhere.

[Freedom HQ; New Haven]

Ashelin Praxis walked over the monitor to see anything strange was going around the city. She heard about Jak's involvement with MX near the city from Keira. While Jak may be alright now, she was getting worried about about how instantly these "Masters of Doom" are suddenly appearing out of their shadows.

Torn entered the room and asked her to come look at something he found out. He presented with her a strange object that appeared in MX's clothes. It was a small orb with a purple dragon marking on it.

"What is that?" The governess asked.

"I've no idea. But it's not even a Precursor object, I've asked Samos. It does, however, the same symbol as the one tattooed on MX's chest." Torn explained.

"Have you found any leads on it? Or even what it does?" She asked, feeling even more confused.

"That's what I came to talk you about." He came by a computer and placed the orb near a scanning device where a hologram of symbols showed up.

"Those are-" Ashelin spoke before Torn interrupted "Precursor symbols. The object itself isn't Precursor, but the language is. I had Keira translate it for me."

"It says 'Under the dark moonlight, Morbius, the Dark Beast, will rise again and conquer the universe as it's rightful ruler. A dragon with his might under his control and an entire army of the greatest of the greats, he will defeat anyone that will come his way, even the Warrior of the Universe, Nazar.'" Torn read aloud.

"Morbius? Nazar? What are we getting ourselves into here?" Ashelin began to question.

"That's where Keira was also confused by it. It doesn't sound like something the Precursors would write to pass on. She does have a theory that the Masters of Doom are using Precursor language to communicate with one another. Keira also believes that the device is a communicator while emitting signals further away from our planet." Torn added.

"Why? As far as I know what would a ragtag band of criminals benefit from something god-like?" Ashelin pointed out.

"That's what also Keira found confusing. There isn't any benefit from it, then this message played." Torn clicked on a few buttons and it showed a hologram of more Precursor language.

It read: The Great Clock must be taken by Morbius to control all of time and space. Such power will be used to our mission.

"The Great Clock?" Ashelin asked, now feeling even more confused than before.

"That I don't know as well." Torn remarked.

I'll end it here.
