Welcome to the final chapter of Pokémon Insurgence: The Delta Whisper. It'll have the climactic rematch between Reukra and Natasha, as well as a surprise visit from a godly Pokémon. It'll be the perfect way to end things, so I hope you're all looking forward to it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon Insurgence; it is the property of its creators.

Perfection Base

The Perfection Base, once humming with the sound of various machinery is all but silent. Days of constant protests from Gail and her supporters has driven Reukra over the edge, forcing the disgraced ex-champion to pack up his things and leave the area. Beside him was Taen, his former second-in-command who was also here to pack up his things. Despite the rift that had developed between them, there was still a mutual sense of respect between the duo, with the latter going as far as to mention his new job to his old boss.

"So this is it, huh?" Reukra mused, his gaze locked on the blue-haired man. "Despite your constant losses at Natasha's hands, I can't say that I didn't enjoy working alongside you."

"I won't have to worry about that brat in the Kuria Region; I've stored all my work and research in my backup drive so I could continue on from there. Perfection…Perfection is all but gone; our followers have either fled the region or have been captured by the police…" Taen began, looking all over the desolate lab to prove his point. "But Team Vitreus; they might actually have a chance of creating the perfect Pokémon."

"Taen! We need to get moving right now." A voice called out to him, the blue-haired man turning to see his new employer. They were a bald man who was of medium height, his body a little on the stocky side. He wore a pristine white suit with a large white bowtie, as well as a long blue scarf wrapped around his neck. Based on the gold-plated glasses over his eyes and his gold-plated teeth, it was clear that he was incredibly wealthy.

"I'm almost finished, Almand." Taen replied, walking towards Reukra before handing him the artifact he obtained from Alpha Temple. "Here, take this. I won't be needing it anymore. I found it in No Man's Land; I used it as a substitute for the crystal in order to summon the Original Dragon. If I were to take an educated guess, I think it's a flute of sorts…"

Gazing at the flute carefully, Reukra's eyes widened upon realization. This was it, the legendary Azure Flute of old, the artifact used to summon Arceus a long, long time ago. "T-This is…"

"Hmmm? You know what it is?" The blue-haired man inquired, having not caught on to Reukra's realization.

"…Never mind, I was mistaken. I'm sure I'll find a use for this." The cult leader lied, pocketing the flute before turning once more to his former sub-ordinate. "Anyway, I'm sure you two have to get back to the Kuria Region."

"Indeed. Come, Taen!" Almand called out, the trio going their separate ways as Reukra mused to himself. Perhaps there was one last experiment he could perform before ditching Torren for good.

Making her way out of the Amphitrite City Pokémon Center, Natasha decided to take a seat on the bench and recall the last few days in her mind, if only to take a breather. Ever since she returned from the Holon Region, she's been hunting down cult after cult, bringing the stray leaders to justice and making Torren a much safer place. But her greatest triumph was saving Damian from Malde's influence, the young man now free to live his own life as he sees fit. Opening her CyberNav, she opened her notes and began reading them to see if there was anything else she needed to do, only to hear the sound of footsteps walking towards her. Peering up from her device, the purple-haired girl saw that Nora and Damian were beside her, a feeling of peace between the duo.

"Nora, Damian! It's so good to see you two again." She cheered, standing up and embraced the duo firmly. "I'm so glad there's no more bad blood between you two."

"I'm glad as well, Natasha. When I saw Damian a few moments ago; I was overwhelmed by a sense of relief. Finally, he's free from the Deoxys' virus for good, no longer a slave of Malde's machinations…" The green-haired girl began, wiping a few small tears off her cheek before breaking off the hug, her gaze locked on her friend. "Damian, I am so sorry about what I said back at the Utira Library. I allowed fear and paranoia to control me, not realizing that it was all a lie. But that doesn't excuse the terrible things I said that day…"

"It's alright; I can't say I wouldn't have fallen victim to suspicion if I was in your shoes…" He admitted, his gaze turning towards Natasha. "Oh right, I forgot to tell you. Audr—my mother has decided to turn herself into the police after our talk. Finally, after all this time Torren is free from cults that have plagued it."

"Not quite; Reukra's still out there, planning who knows what. And then there's Taen, but the coward managed to flee before I could capture him." The purple-haired girl chimed in, piquing her friend's attention. "Long story short, he attempted to recreate the Original Dragon, but this time he had its name. As for what it was; the name was Kyurem, just as Nora had predicted back then."

"Yes, I knew I was right!" Nora cheered quietly to herself. "So, were you able to see the dragon?"

"No, the transformation was foiled by an acquaintance of mine, Gail. She's an environmentalist whose family has close ties to the legendary Pokémon Zygarde. I should contact her when this is all over; she'd make an ideal ally for my goal." Natasha replied.

"Seems you're still intent on creating that preserve for Delta Pokémon." Damian mused.

"Indeed, and the Holon Region's the perfect place for it, more so since we don't have someone like Professor Maple making a mess of things." The purple-haired girl smiled briefly, only for it to disappear. "The only question I have is where Reukra could be hiding? Perhaps he fled the region while I was hunting Taen down? Or maybe he could be at the—"

"Natasha!" A voice called out to her, the teenager turning to see King Vesryn running towards the trio, a look of panic etched on his face.

"Is everything alright?!" She exclaimed, running up towards him to check up on him.

"I-It's Reukra! He's managed to defeat us and is making his way to the Throne of the Hegemon; he has the Azure Flute in his possession." The older man managed to get out, catching the trio by surprise.

"The Azure Flute?! How could he have gotten his hands on it?!" Nora exclaimed, the other two a little confused by her words. "The Azure Flute is a legendary artifact, said to be able to summon Arceus itself upon playing it. If Reukra really has it in his possession…I don't even want to think about the consequences."

"Then it's up to me to stop him once and for all. I still have a score to settle with him, and I will not let him get away this time." Natasha stepped up to the plate, a determined look in her eyes.

"Seems like the world's fate is in your hands once more…" Damian stated, a tiny hint of jealousy in his tone. "But it's for the best; of the three of us, you're the strongest by a huge margin. Besides, you already know all of Reukra's strategies."

"True, but he could have a new trick up his sleeve for the occasion. He was never one to go into things unprepared." The purple-haired girl reminded her friend.

"We'll join you to provide support; the last thing we want to happen is for you to be too weak to fight Reukra. Come, time is of the essence!" Vesryn called out, the group of four quickly making their way through the cave and towards the opening to the Void Gauntlet. A wave of mixed emotions coursed through Natasha's body as she stepped beyond the portal and into the distorted dimension, a foreboding atmosphere permeating the area.

"W-Woah!" The white-haired boy exclaimed, taken aback by the sight before him. If he wasn't careful, he could fall into the abyss and disappear from reality itself. But despite the immense danger, he was enthralled by the mesmerizing sight before him, gazing into the deadly abyss in intrigue and awe.

"As magnificent as it is, we need to stay focused, Damian." Nora gently reminded him.

"R-Right!" He called out, getting back to the task at hand. But despite the sense of urgency, the group faced no resistance whatsoever, making through a few areas with no hassles whatsoever. That was until the entered Pokémon Village, with three bright orbs suddenly appearing right before them as a mysterious voice echoed throughout the area.

"Enemy detected! Azure Flute Emergency Defense System has been activated." It called out, a haunting melody echoing throughout the area as the orbs disappeared to reveal a Salamence, a Goodra and a Gothitelle, all of whom glared at the heroes with malice.

"You three go ahead; I'll handle them myself!" Vesryn declared, sending out his Victini and prepared himself for battle. giving him a nod of gratitude, the trio ran past him and continued their journey, making their way through dimension after dimension. Eventually, they made they way to the Hall of Legends, only for the ground to begin trembling as the melody grew louder, a pair of portals opening up as two massive beings emerged out of them. They were none other than Dialga and Palkia; rulers of Time and Space and Arceus' most devoted allies. Staring down the three trainers, they stomped towards them, only for Damian and Nora to approach the duo.

"You go on ahead, Natasha! We'll take care of them!" Nora told her, sending out her Celebi as Damian sent out his Shaymin. "Put an end to Reukra once and for all!"

"I-I will. Thank you both for being here with me, until the very end…" Natasha thanked her friends, planting a light kiss on their cheeks before running past the two deities and into the Throne of the Hegemon. Entering the tall tower, she spotted her greatest adversary and walked towards him, the older man turning around to confront the teenager.

"Well, well. I should've known you'd attempt to stop me." Reukra began. "You have a knack for always appearing whenever something exciting is happening."

"What can I say? You can't have a party without me!" The purple-haired girl retorted.

"Heh, you haven't changed a bit…" He mused to himself in amusement, gazing upon the large rip in space floating above him. "I'm going for broke; this is the most extreme thing I've ever done. With the Azure Flute in my possession, I essentially have the key to the land in which Arceus itself slumbers. How Taen managed to get his hands on this is a complete mystery, but I'm glad he had no idea how to use it. Can you imagine the disaster the world would be in if he had Arceus under control?"

"Now that'll be a nightmare far worse than anything Darkrai could conjure up…" Natasha replied, shivering in fear over the mortifying thought. "But it's not like things will be any better if it were under your control."

"Oh yes it will. For all my life, I have searched for perfection, be it the Original Dragon, Mewtwo, Delta Species and even Mega Evolution. But all have fallen short; no thanks to you…" Reukra continued, gazing at the flute in his hands. "Arceus is said to have created the universe; it's the strongest Pokémon of all time. Though I was going to leave this region forever, I couldn't miss out on a golden opportunity such as this. By playing this flute, I have awakened Arceus; as we're speaking, it's making its way towards us. With it under my control, nothing will be able to oppose me, not even you, Natasha."

"We'll see about that." She retorted, taking out her Pokéball. "Let's make a wager; you defeat me and I'll walk away for good. But if I defeat you, you will relinquish all of your Delta Pokémon, including your Volcarona."

"Heh, that's fine by me. Besides, even if you do win, which is highly unlikely, I'm not going to leave." He accepted the challenge, taking out his own Pokéball. "Besides, this'll be the perfect opportunity to get revenge for all of your meddling."

The two trainers sent out their Pokémon, with Reukra sending out his Tyranitar, donning a new suit of armor, while Natasha sent out her Delta Metagross, the crystal on its body glowing brightly. Within moments, it evolved into its Crystal Forme, the Ruined Pokémon letting out a deafening roar.

"Where did you…?" Reukra began, an eyebrow cocked in confusion as he was intrigued by what he was looking at. However, he soon cast his curiosity aside and ordered his Tyranitar to use Stone Edge. Uttering a loud roar, the dinosaur stomped on the ground as a series of sharp rocks emerged from the ground, only for the Metagross to hover above them and dove towards its opponent. Its eyes locked on its target, the Ruined Pokémon charged towards it, its crystalline body glowing brightly as it tackled into the Tyranitar, sending it flying several feet. Crashing into the ground, the dinosaur uttered a low huff before firing a powerful Hyper Beam, the attack striking the Metagross and caused it to spin in the air for a few seconds. Regaining its composure, the Ruined Pokémon smacked its arms together as they soon glowed a harsh green, the Crystal Pokémon flying towards its foe and slams it's stomach with a Wood Hammer, shattering its armor as the Tyranitar was knocked to the ground, unable to continue fighting.

"I take it you're impressed with my Metagross?" Natasha inquired, watching Reukra recall his Pokémon. "I believe Taen referred to it as a Crystal Pokémon; what exactly they are, is a mystery to me, but their power is nothing to sneeze at!"

'Crystal Pokémon…how fascinating.' The cult leader mused to himself. Once this was all done, he would dedicate his time and effort into researching these Crystal Pokémon. Who knows; they might even aid him in his quest for perfection. But for now, he had a more important matter at hand, the older man sending out his Delta Yanmega as Natasha raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"Y-You've been to—" She began.

"To the Holon Region?" He interrupted her. "I paid the place a visit while you were busy dealing with Taen. The Delta's I found there are very powerful; no wonder that Maple fool wanted to control them."

"I won't let them suffer under your tyrannical thumb; Metagross, use Head Smash!" Natasha called out, the Ruined Pokémon uttering a determined roar as it charged towards the Yanmega, it's head glowing a harsh blue. However, the dragonfly was able to dodge in time, zipping in the skies as it conjured up a wicked hurricane, knocking the Metagross to the ground as it skidded a few feet. Slowly picking itself back up, it turned to glare at the Yanmega and attempted to punch it, only for the dragonfly to dodge it once more and float in the air, charging up a powerful Dragon Pulse. It fired the attack at the Metagross and landed a directed it, a large explosion rocking the area as the throne room was filled with a thick smoke, shielding the combatants from view. The Yanmega was confident in its victory, oblivious to the fact that the Metagross was now floating behind it, a second Head Smash charged up and ready. Before the dragonfly knew what hit it, it was sent flying into the wall and crashed into, slowly sliding down the wall as it crumpled on the ground, unable to get back up.

"Looks like I have to get serious…" Reukra muttered, recalling his Yanmega before sending out his Shadow Mewtwo, the teenage girl wincing at the sight of the powerful Pokémon as she recalled its immense power. Outstretching its hand, the Shadow Mewtwo conjured up a massive orb of pitch-black anergy and flung it at the Metagross, the orb enveloping it as it soon exploded, sending the Ruined Pokémon flying into a wall as it promptly devolved into its regular form, unable to continue battling.

"Metagross!" Natasha called out to her friend, checking up on it to see if it was alright. Sighing in relief that it was still okay, she recalled it to its ball before gazing at the Shadow Mewtwo, mulling over who to send out next. An idea soon sparked in her mind, the purple-haired girl sending out her Kabutops as the beetle chittered loudly, the Bug-type rubbing its scythes together. Glaring at its foe, it spun around in a frantic dance of sorts, its arms raised in the air as its spirit was greatly bolstered. The Shadow Mewtwo leaped back and conjured up a Flamethrower with its hands, channeling the stream towards its foe, only for the Beetle Pokémon to dodge in time. The Kabutops bobbed and weaved in a zigzag pattern, leaping in the air before landing an X-Scissor on its foe, sending the Shadow Mewtwo backwards as it crashed into the ground, knocked out after a single attack.

Growling to himself, the cult leader recalled his Pokémon before promptly selecting his fourth combatant, a Delta Goodra. The muddy Pokémon uttered a low gurgle before firing a barrage of noxious sludge at the Kabutops, the Bug-type hacking the globs with its sharp scythes. However, it was a ploy by the Goodra to catch its foe off guard, the Mud Pokémon following up with an Ice Beam that froze the Beetle Pokémon's legs to the ground. The Water-type promptly slammed its tail in the ground, creating a powerful Earth Power attack that sent the Kabutops flying into the air. However, the beetle was able to recover in time and swoop down on its foe, its scythes glowing a harsh green as it landed a pair of powerful Leaf Blades on its opponent, knocking it to the ground. The Goodra attempted to get back up, but the 4x effective attack proved to be too much as it slumped forwards on the ground, unable to get back up.

"Is it just me, or have you been slacking in your battling skills?" Natasha taunted, watching Reukra recall his Pokémon. "Just goes to show what happens when you let your idiot second-in-command do all the fighting."

"I'll shut that mouth of yours if it's the last thing I'll do!" He retorted, sending out his Bisharp before pressing down on his Mega Ring, the Sword Blade Pokémon enveloped in a wonderous orb of light. Moments later, it broke out of the orb, the Steel-type uttering a loud screech as an immense power coursed through its body. The Bisharp now resembled a centaur, its equine body covered in red and yellow armor plating. It now had a metal shield over its left arm, while its right hand morphed into a sharp lance capable of piercing steel with ease. Staring down its foe, it reared its forelegs in the air before charging towards it, its lance pointed at the Kabutops.

The Beetle Pokémon narrowly dodged the attack, tripping its foe with its leg as the centaur crashed into the ground. Picking itself back up, it dusted the dirt off its body before kicking the ground a few times, charging once more at the Kabutops. Like before, the beetle dodged to the side, only for the Bisharp to slam its shield in its face, causing the Bug-type to stagger on the spot. Seizing this golden opportunity, the centaur leaped into the air and slammed its lance on the Kabutops' head, knocking it into the ground and left behind a small impact crater. The Beetle Pokémon slowly picked itself back up, panting lightly for air as exhaustion gripped its body. Eager for one last showdown, it raised a scythe in the air and ran towards its foe, hoping to land a powerful Brick Break on its opponent. Eager to finish off its foe, the Bisharp pointed its lance and galloped towards the Kabutops, the two combatants landing their attacks as a small explosion rocked the area. They both looked into each other's eyes, a faint understanding forming between them as the Kabutops soon fell onto the ground, unable to continue battling. Mere seconds later, the Bisharp slumped onto the ground, devolving into its regular form as it too was unable to continue battling.

Congratulating her Pokémon for its valiant effort, Natasha recalled her Pokémon as Reukra did the same, the duo gazing at each other as they knew what was going to happen. Taking out their respective Pokéballs, both trainers sent out their Delta Volcarona's, knowing that this will be the showdown to end all showdowns. A new resolve sparked within Natasha's Volcarona; finally, it'll be able to save its brethren from Reukra's tyrannical grip. All it needed to do was defeat it once more, and it's vengeful desires will be sated. Taking to the skies, Natasha's Volcarona conjured up a powerful Hurricane with its wings, only for Reukra's Volcarona to create a rip in space and slip through it, dodging the attack in time. Moments later, it appeared behind Natasha's Volcarona and struck it with a Spacial Rend from behind, sending the moth flying forward a few feet. Picking itself back up, it quickly retaliated with a Dark Pulse, stunning Reukra's Volcarona as it teetered in the air. Natasha's Volcarona flew towards its opponent and struck its stomach with a direct tackle, crating a small crack in its armor.

Another surge of hope coursed through Natasha's Volcarona, knowing that if its foes armor was fully shattered, it would no longer be under Reukra's control. With a new plan in mind, it used its anger as a source of power, its body glowing with a harsh orange aura. Diving towards Reukra's Volcarona, it tackled into it multiple times, directing all of its hate at the suit of armor as the cracks grew larger by the second. Reukra's Volcarona attempted to fight off its opponent, but it couldn't land an attack at all, a dull headache coursing through its head as the armor's effect on it soon faded. Mere moments later, Natasha's Volcarona landed one last attack, completely shattering the armor as the pieces clattered on the ground. Weakened, Reukra's Volcarona landed on the ground, with Natasha's Volcarona landing beside it as the duo embraced each other, the former losing all interest in the battle.

"Oh, for crying out loud!" Reukra exclaimed in frustration, annoyed that he had lost to his nemesis once more.

"You know the rules…" Natasha replied, slowly walking towards the former champion, her hand outstretched. "Hand them over."

Sighing to himself, the older man handed over all of his Delta Pokémon, including the once he didn't use, as well as the Pokéball for his Volcarona. "Seems that I still can't take you down. No matter, the plan will go ahead. Arceus should be here by now. This is it, the moment I've waited my entire life for…" He spoke, the ground trembling as the duo turned to face the rip in space.

Slowly, a being emerged out of the power, one gold and white leg at a time as the duo stared at the entity in awe. They were now within the presence of Arceus, the one who created everything as we know it, or a tyrannical usurper if Nyx was to be believed. It gazed at the duo with a blank expression, its emotions unreadable to the duo.

"Arceus, the Perfect Pokémon…" Reukra began, slowly walking up to it as he brought out a Master Ball. "You're mine!"

With a flick of his wrist, the cult leader threw the ball at the Alpha Pokémon, the device sucking it up as it wiggled on the ground. The older man was on the verge of jumping for joy, his dream finally realized in an epic, albeit anticlimactic fashion. However, in a twist that nobody saw coming, Arceus broke out of the ball and glared at Reukra, knocking him to the ground before reclaiming its Azure Flute. With the power of its flute coursing through its body, it soon evolved into its Primal Forme and uttered an unsettling screech. Its torso was a lot stockier than before, with dozens of plates encircling its body, each one representing a different type.

"T-This can't be…how did it break out?!" The cult leader exclaimed, crawling back a few feet before standing back up.

"Stand back! I'll handle this." Natasha called out, standing in front of him as both Volcarona gazed at her, before flying towards her and offered their aid in this important battle. giving them a nod of support, she ordered them to go all out on the Arceus, the two Delta's taking to the skies. Glaring at the moths, the Alpha Pokémon collected energy within its plates before firing a barrage of multicolored beams at them, the moths bobbing and weaving past the attacks. Free from the barrage, the Volcarona's pelted Arceus with a barrage of sludge, the assault striking its body as it staggered back a few feet. Showing another glare, the Alpha Pokémon's body started to glow harshly as it conjured up a large orange orb that floated above the arena, the orb pulsating for a few moments before exploding.

Holy Judgement was rained upon the battlefield, the shards of energy striking the ground as explosions rocked the area, causing the purple-haired girl to shield her face as smoke blanketed the arena. When it died down moments later, she saw that the Volcarona were nowhere to be seen, however she wasn't worried at all. Her hunch would prove to be correct as she saw the moths emerge from a different direction and lunged at Arceus, bombarding it with a series of powerful tackles. The Alpha Pokémon was knocked to the ground, reverting back to its normal form as it glared weakly at Natasha, the teenage girl walking up to it.

"Arceus, listen to me!" She called out urgently, staring at it directly. "We are so sorry for waking you up from your slumber. We were foolish enough to think that you would submit to us, but we were wrong. Please, return to your realm; we will not cause you any more trouble, we promise!"

The deity was moved by her words, its glare softening as it slowly stood back up on its legs. Taking the Azure Flute for itself, it slowly made its way back to the rip in space and was about to step inside, only for the purple-haired girl to remember a promise she had made to Nyx long ago.

"Arceus!" Natasha called out, attracting its attention once more. "The people in the Distortion World, they are going through unimaginable suffering as we speak. Please, bury the hatchet between you and Giratina; work alongside each other to provide a safe home for Nyx and her people."

A hint of respect formed within the deity's eyes as it gave her a small nod, telling her that although it will take some time, it was possible for her wish to become a reality. Turning back towards the rip in space, it stepped inside and re-entered its realm, the rip slowly closing until it was gone, as if it were never there in the first place.

"Unbelievable…" Reukra began in disbelief, his gaze locked on Natasha. "Somehow, you manage to pull off the most ridiculous victories, going so far as to beat perfection itself. It's almost as if you were born with plot armor."

"You're not the first person to say that, and I doubt you'll be the last." Natasha retorted playfully, the older man sighing to himself in frustration.

"I'm done with this region and its meddling kids. I'll go elsewhere and continue my research; there's bound to be new ideas throughout the world. So many regions, so many opportunities to find perfection, and all of them without children skilled enough to defeat trained adults." Reukra began, making his way out of the Throne of the Hegemon before turning to face Natasha one last time. "When you get older and you lose your sense of righteousness, don't be afraid to give me a call. I'd be more than happy to give you a job as my assistant."

"I-I'll think about it…" The purple-haired girl stammered, completely taken aback by what he said as she saw him exit the building, taking the time to digest what she had just heard. Never in a thousand years had she expected a job offer from her enemy, especially since she had foiled all of his plans. Still, it was worth considering, if only to ensure that he didn't commit any more dubious actions. However, there were more pressing matters at hand, such as fulfilling her dream of a preserve for Delta Pokémon. Gesturing the two Volcarona to follow her, she stepped outside the Throne of the Hegemon, ready to write the next page of her life.

Settlement Foxtrot: Six months later

Natasha has happily humming to herself as she began grooming her Aurorus, the Island chirping happily as it soaked up the sun's rays. Following the incident with Reukra and Arceus, she devoted her time to working alongside the Scientist's Club in turning the Holon Region into a preserve for Delta Pokémon. Thanks to their efforts, the population was able to grow to a healthy level, with several new species cropping up hear and there. True to her word, she released all of the Delta's that she had caught, though she placed a tag on them so she could visit them whenever she wanted.

"Natasha!" A voice called out, the purple-haired girl turning to see Gail approaching her, with her Zygarde by her side in its 10% Forme. "It's a wonderful day today, isn't it?"

"Indeed. Thank you very much for accepting the job; I know it was a bit sudden, but I figured it would be right up your alley." The purple-haired girl smiled at her.

"No need to thank me; as an environmentalist, it's my duty to keep this place safe from assholes like Reukra and Taen who seek to harm all its denizens." The green-haired woman replied, turning her head to the side. "Have you seen the news? About the trial for all the cult leaders?"

"I went to the trial myself the other day, if only because I was the star witness. Seeing Jaern get life behind bars without the possibility of parole was one of the best moments of my life. Of course, Persephone got a reduced sentence for testifying against him, but I'm sure she'll come out of jail a better person." Natasha replied, an immense sense of satisfaction coursing throughout her body. "Zenith and Audrey were also given life sentences, but they're eligible for parole after 30 years, though I doubt Zenith will be able to live that long, given his advanced age."

"A shame we couldn't bag the gruesome duo right there and then, but I'm still on the hunt for them." Gail chimed in, her ears perking up as the sound of an approaching train echoed throughout the area. "Seems we have more tourists; shall we go greet them?"

"I know exactly who's on that train…" The purple-haired girl replied, the duo taking the short walk to the station as the train ground to a halt. As the door opened slowly, a pair of familiar figures stepped onto the lush grass, the teenage girl running up to them as she embraced them firmly.

"Nora! Damian! So good to see you two again!" Natasha cheered, plating kisses on their cheeks though she lingered on Nora's for a little while.

"Same here, Natasha. I'm glad to see that your dream is bearing fruit." Nora smiled back at her. "Your mother would be so proud of you…"

"Yes, she would…" The purple-haired girl replied, wiping a small tear of happiness away as she knew her mother could no rest in peace. "How are you handling things, Damian?"

"P-Pretty well, I suppose." He answered, though she could sense that the outcome of the trial affected him. "I know what my mother did was wrong, and she should face justice for her actions, but I'm going to miss her."

"It's not the end of the world; you could still visit her whenever you're able to." Natasha reassured him, the white-haired boy's eyes lighting up in response.

"Y-Yeah, you're right…" Damian replied, before remembering why they had come here in the first place. "We've managed to find Taen; he's somewhere in the Kuria Region."

"Kuria?!" Gail exclaimed, surprised by what she just heard. "That's over 2,000 miles from here; no wonder Zygarde wasn't able to track him down."

"I know you've retired from Pokémon battling, Natasha, but we could really use your help in hunting him down…" Nora requested, with the purple-haired girl musing to herself. She had found her slice of happiness within Holon, taking care of its denizens as if they were her children. Still, who was she to turn down a request from her girlfriend? Besides, it was about time that asshole Taen was brought to justice.

"Very well, I'll be more than happy to accept your request." Natasha agreed, with her Mew materializing out of thin air to give a chip of support, catching her by surprise. "Seems that Mew's more than eager to join in as well."

"That's wonderful! With the combined power of Mew, Celebi and Shaymin, nothing can stop us!" The green-haired girl cheered.

"I'll let Monika know that you'll be out on important business. Don't worry, Zygarde and I will hold down the fort while you're gone." Gail pledged, with Zygarde giving the teenager a determined nod.

"Thank you very much; I promise to come back with one dingusbrain in tow." Natasha pledged, an amused smirk forming on Gail's face as the three teenagers hopped aboard the train. As the doors closed, the trio took their seats, and watched as the train began its journey back to Suntouched City. Feeling Nora cuddle up to her, Natasha embraced her warmly, looking outside the window as she saw the fruits of her labor. Though this chapter of her life has come to a close, she was more than ready to step into the next chapter with her allies by her side.

And that is it for Pokémon Insurgence: The Delta Whisperer; I've hope you all enjoyed it. I plan on writing a story for Pokémon Azurite when it comes out, but it'll most likely feature a new protagonist. Don't worry, Natasha and co. will make a few appearances in the story, if only to hunt down a certain blue-haired man. Thank you all so much for supporting my story, I'll see you all another time!
