The Demon and the Red Moon

Code Geass is owned by Sunrise, you know the drill by now. I mean, at least I hope so, or you've got some weird ass amnesia I've never even heard of...

Also discovered that I seem to be playing how many ethnicity can I cram into Lelouch's blood stream. Depending on how many inter-marrying the royal families do between Europa and Britannia I convsertally get Russian, German, Spanish and Italian in the royal family, though Italian is slightly a stretch since they have Popes, not kings. Bloody peasants.

Chapter 21

Kallen was smiling, all of her troubles forgotten, for the first time in a while. Lelouch had taken her to dinner, and had all but refused to take her to some fast-food place, or even a sushi bar, the few that remained anyway.

Instead, she'd been escorted, with a light hand on her back belonging to her prince, into a very high-class Britannian restaurant. Kallen had been adamant against it when she'd seen the place. She was Japanese, she'd reminded. He'd quickly replied that she was half-Britannian anyway and that he was half-Britannian, along with three-eighths French and one-eighth Japanese anyway on the side of his mother, and he still enjoyed fine dining.

Lelouch had quickly used his Geass to secure a table for them near a window overlooking the whole Tokyo Colony.

"My mother's mother was Japanese," Lelouch explained after Kallen had asked about his lineage. "My mother is a descendant of French traders that settled a colony in Vietnam. After the Second Pacific War they seem to have moved to Japan and some interbreeding occurred. It was a scandal when it came out, after Mother was married, but who was going to question the Emperor? I was Eleventh in line anyway."

"You ever meet your grandmother?" Kallen had asked, honestly curious as she sipped water from a very nice piece of glass ware.

"We wrote each other but she passed on," Lelouch commented, wistfully.

Kallen had felt like a piece of shit a little bit after that, but Lelouch had simply smiled.

A very expensive looking meal had been set before them by a very handsome man, though Kallen noted to her feminine delight, that the waiter still wasn't as good looking as Lelouch. Lelouch later added a glass of wine for both of them.

Kallen had just stared at the glass of red fluid a moment, cautious. Lelouch had chuckled and took a sip, (a light sip, she noted.) Kallen watched Lelouch carefully but took an even smaller taste than Lelouch. Sickeningly sweet, but a very sour after taste. Kallen hummed and took a fuller drink, though the bitter after taste burned her tongue with so much.

After finishing the glasses and the meal Kallen had noted that her eyes seemed heavier and she was slightly dizzy, and she could. Not. Shut. Up.

"You're so fucking beautiful, you know that," she'd exclaimed loudly, "You're just so thin and weak but so so smart and handsome." Lelouch winced, bemused but eying the nearest table where a much older couple were staring with some disdain. "I just wanna climb on and r-"

Lelouch had swiftly interrupted her by moving to sit much closer beside her and holding a glass of water up to her lips that she sipped with a giggle. Afterward she'd placed a kiss on Lelouch's cheek as he chuckled amiably, seeming very aware that they were in public.

Kallen's carefree moments were quickly forgotten when they returned to Naoto's apartment and discovered something missing. Lelouch had smirked when he realized it.

Zero was missing. The case Lelouch had customized for holding his clothes and helmet as Zero was seemingly gone. Lelouch had explained it was locked with a code anyway, but even then he seemed almost joyous at the theft. Kallen and Lelouch had then examined the lock to the door, and noted that it wasn't damaged at all.

"Ohgi has a key to this apartment, does he not?" Lelouch asked, smiling thoughtfully.

"Yeah he does," Kallen replied, not comprehending. When she realized what Lelouch implied, she continued. "Wait, he couldn't have! He trusts me!" Lelouch glanced at her with a sad smile.

"You he trusts," Lelouch affirmed. "I may have fallen out of that trust. But there was that woman as well. She knows that Zero is really Lelouch Lamperouge." Kallen uttered a curse when she heard the news. "It can't be helped. Anything we do now, Ohgi would know that we know he's responsible and he would act out of desperation. We'll leave him be for now. In the meantime, I have to check up on a special project I've commissioned." Lelouch buttoned his coat once again, and stepped over to stand before Kallen.

"You should try to get some sleep," Lelouch advised. "I'll be at the Black Knights headquarters in the morning, I want to test out my new Knightmare. Don't say anything to Ohgi." Kallen gazed up at Lelouch, concerned.

"Last time I kissed you unexpectedly you reacted badly," Lelouch remembered aloud. "So this time I'm warning you." He bent down slightly to brush his mouth against hers. Kallen leaned into him this time, a hand going to the back of his neck almost by itself.

"Be careful," Kallen warned, annoyed. "If you get caught I'm not waking up to bail you out, Lelouch!" Lelouch smiled again and walked out of the apartment.

Nina Einstein waited patiently. She stood next to the Ganymede in the underground facilities at Asheford Academy, beaming with pride despite her lack of self-esteem making the smile anorexic. The Ganymede bore a new attachment, a meter and half long metal cylinder with a great many wires in its exposed casing. Thick cables connected it to the Ganymede's power supply to keep it from losing power.

Her patron would finally arrive to inspect the work she'd finally completed. She heard clicking footsteps approaching and turned to the patron who'd ordered the device.

"It is finished, Nina?" The voice asked. Nina bowed a nod and looked to the device.

"An atomic fusion device with sakuradite fuel," Nina declared in her mousy voice.

"Unlimited power," the voice commented, bemused at the remembrance. The figure stepped into the effect of an overhead light, within the same circle of light that Nina stood in. A black helmet turned to look at her. The figure rose its black and purple clothed arm and gripped the point of its helmet to remove the curious accoutrement.

Lelouch smiled at Nina, free of his helmet. Nina smiled back, her eyes ringed with a soft red glow.

("Nina," Lelouch had said, what seemed like lifetimes ago, before he had even formed the Black Knights, "if I asked could you weaponize this phenomon for me with a device?" Nina had stood up, shocked at Lelouch's question.

"The atomic fusion would produce a burst of energy greater than anything seen previously," Nina had declared, terrified. "It would be on a scale that's similar to celestial object impacts on the earth, like the Tunguska Blast!" Lelouch smiled, his right eye glowing red.

"Please work for me, Nina," Lelouch had ordered.)

"You should be proud, Nina," Lelouch complimented. "I won't be able to take it right away, so I'll let you keep it a secret for me for the time being."

"Absolutely master," Nina declared.

Lelouch nodded and replaced his helmet and began to leave.

"Master," Nina called. "There is one problem."

Lelouch turned warily.

"I wasn't able to make the remote detonation work. Someone will have to detonate the bomb on the spot. I've tried to set up a timer, but I can't make it work." Lelouch absorbed this information. A person would have to stay by the bomb as it went off.

"Will there be a delay in detonation?" Zero asked the small girl.

"No, master," Nina replied, slightly ashamed. "I've made the bomb too well I'm afraid."

"I may have a work around," Zero replied. "Thank you, Nina. Remember to delete the security footage as I've told you."

Lelouch left the facilities. Asheford was completely dark. Lelouch passed the dead body of two police officers, killed by self-inflicted wounds. C was waiting for him in the yard, wearing a black leather dress that she hadn't borrowed from Kallen.

"Bumping in the night, Zero?" C asked, calling him Zero for the first time, though it was probably out of respect for the stealth of the mission rather than any respect for Lelouch.

"An odd choice of words for a witch," Zero replied, as amused as C. "I'll have a job for you to do soon enough," Lelouch declared from inside his helmet. "I'll need you to engage in a suicide bombing with a very particular payload if my plan is viable."

"And just why would I do that?" C asked, bemused.

"If the bomb is powerful enough to kill you, you die anyway. If not you aide me as my accomplice and shorten the route to your own goal." Lelouch began to walk away from Asheford as he spoke, C falling in beside him.

"Either way I get my way," C noted aloud. "And who says you're difficult to work with?"

"You do," Lelouch noted rightly.

"But how many know about this little preparation you've made?" C asked, curious.

"No one but me," Lelouch answered. He spun and stopped in place as if remembering something. Zero's helmet uttered a loud whistle, a short tune of five notes that he'd made the effort to learn. On cue a form in a black dress emerged from a window in Asheford and began to run to where Zero stood.

In a few moments Sayoko was standing before Lelouch.

"Master L-"

"Yes, Sayoko," Lelouch interrupted. "I have need of your special skills, if you still agree to serve me." Sayoko merely nodded. "I want you to watch on a certain pair of people. Kaname Ohgi and Villeta Nu. The latter is a silver-haired woman of color who will be near the first. Ohgi himself is a Japanese man who has curly hair and often wears a red headband. He often wears a brown coat with a gold star on it. If you follow my wherabouts as Zero, you can acquire your target in the morning in my presence. Observe only."

"Very good, master Lelouch," Sayoko declared, and burst from her standing position into the darkness. C merely blinked, stunned, but her mouth didn't fall open, to her credit.

"How many cards do you have up your sleeve, Lelouch?" C asked, glaring sidelong at Lelouch. The helmet turned to stare back at her.

"More than I'll ever tell," Zero declared.

Ohgi and Villeta left the safe house apartment in the morning, with Zero's case. No, Lelouch's case that proved he was Zero.

At the same time, Jeremiah Gottwald was finally released from the lab, his cybernetic replacements finally no longer driving him to fits, nor causing him as much pain, though to say that he was not in pain would have been quite incorrect.

Both parties were stared at somewhat as they went their separate directions. A dark woman seen with an Eleven was bound to draw attention, and more than a few glares of contempt at such an implied interracial couple. Villeta was annoyed by that. She wasn't in a relationship with Ohgi. He was attractive, that was certain, but Villeta wasn't going to ruin her reputation by doing something about it.

Ohgi was used to stares and glares by now, as they were going into the Britannian parts of the colony. Police even gave them a bit of trouble, asking if Villeta was a prisoner. Villeta was able to verify that she was Britannian military to them however, and that Ohgi was with her for the moment, and thus after the first few they passed unmolested.

Jeremiah drew shocked stares. His body was a patchwork of bronzed and gilded metal parts, with several large feathers of radiating fins protruding from him, with several of purple-colored pieces crossing across his face on the left side, surrounding his repaired eye. It didn't help that he smelled of human agony, sweat, blood, oil, burnt metal and perhaps the worst of all, citrus.

His joints and limbs whirred mechanically as well, very nosily despite the smooth grace and unparalleled physical strength they gave him. His mechanical eye scanned variously through vision filters of infrared and ultraviolet, giving him a throbbing migraine when juxtaposed with the normal vision of his good eye.

Jeremiah blinked when he saw the familiar face.

"Villeta?" he asked loudly. She was still hundreds of meters away. Distance was no obstacle, however. Jeremiah merely jumped, and landed fifty meters away from where he had leaped. A few more jumps and he was near the dark-colored knight. "Is that you, Villeta?" Dame Nu merely blinked in astonishment at Jeremiah'd sudden appearance. "It is you. What luck, what mad fortune!"

"Jeremiah? I thought Zero killed you!" Villeta's comment annoyed Gottwald but he wasn't thrown into a rage at the mention of Zero.

"Not yet dead, I am," Jeremiah declared, his mind briefly causing his reconstructed vocal faculties to glitch slightly. "But I fully intend to make Zero dead for certain. I'm glad that you're well."

"Then perhaps we can help each other," Villeta proposed, holding up the black case. "I know Zero's identity, and in this case we have evidence to prove it. If you can get us to someone able to test it."

"Zero's identity?" Jeremiah asked, joyous and awed.

Kallen entered the Black Knight headquarters vehicle and noted that Tohdoh was already here with his Holy Swords, along with Diethard, Tamaki, Rakshata and...

Ohgi wasn't here. Lelouch emerged, dressed as Zero already, and sat down among the senior members of the Black Knights.

"Welcome, Kallen," Zero declared. "You should change into your uniform." Kallen took her bag with her uniform to a room off the main hall of the van and went inside, locking the door behind her. She changed quickly and locked the bag in a locker in the room and rushed to sit down beside Lelouch. Rakshata raised an eyebrow but didn't comment.

"I'd like to test the Gawain today," Zero annouced at the start. "I'll be making it my personal machine afterwards. Kallen will be my co-pilot, since Rakshata was good enough to inform me that it was a two-seater. Now, updates of status?"

"We recruited 8 more members just yesterday," Diethard informed. "Our deeper-cover teams have called back and reported that the reputation of the Black Knights has diminished somewhat since Princess Euphemia's announcement of a special Japanese zone, and the incident at the school has raised some concerns."

"Including some of mine," Tohdoh announced. "Was there a military purpose to the attack at this Asheford Academy? I understood that Kallen Kozuki attends there as a student as her cover. And the JLF bombing of the Asheford school was also directly before you moved against Kusakabe at Lake Kawaguchi."

"Your question being," Zero asked, carefully, "Was there a valid reason for my attack, or am I just a hypocrite?"

Tohdoh merely watched Zero carefully.

"That could be a summation of my concerns, yes," Tohdoh announced.

"It seems that Princess Euphemia also engaged in a cover as a student at Asheford," Lelouch declared. "Had we captured her we may have made a significant blow to the Britannian colonial government. Unfortunately, it seems Ohgi had misgivings about the attack and did not execute his orders, and the Britannians were already there to guard their princess with a superior force. I've yet to determine how our plans leaked."

"Are you then accusing Ohgi of being a double agent?" Tohdoh asked.

"It is suspicious that he is not here right now," Diethard admitted.

(Ohgi would never betray us like that!) Kallen wanted to say it. But Ohgi had just let a Britannian woman who knew Lelouch was Zero into her apartment. Kallen could barely imagine what might have happened if Ohgi had let this Villeta Nu in while Kallen and Lelouch had been sleeping in bed.

"I don't believe Ohgi is a traitor," Lelouch said. It was true, though not in the way one might think. He didn't believe it. He KNEW it. "And we must not break down the unity of our force, as the final battle approaches."

"We don't have the forces to take the Government sector," Tohdoh declared. "I'm sorry, but we do not. And now we have a second problem. The Chinese have sent a force to engage Japan." Lelouch's mind was racing. Kallen was silent, watching Zero out of the corner of his eye.

"We'll deal with the problem as it approaches," Zero said, vague.

Kallen gripped the control sticks of the Gawain nervously as Lelouch drove the giant Knightmare. It wasn't as fast as her Guren, but it was still far more powerful than a Sutherland or Burai. Lelouch put it into a tight turn at speed on the "track" and Kallen felt the machine's center of gravity moving as Lelouch put it into a curled crouch and leaned in to turn it at such speed. The machine rattled at the turn and Kallen winced.

"This is a magnificent machine," Lelouch declared. "Far above my skill level to handle very well." Kallen kept her mouth shut firmly.

(Yeah because you can't drive for shit,) Kallen said to Lelouch mentally.

"I'll be activating the float system," Lelouch advised into the radio. Kallen almost yelped with surprise, then actually gave a shout as the ground fell away. "Be sure to measure this, Rakshata, I'm going to ramp up to the highest ascension." The Gawain began to float upwards faster. It was the speed of a fast hot-air balloon at best.

"Firing thrusters," Lelouch declared. The Gawain suddenly rocketed up. Kallen couldn't hold back anymore and screamed.

"Put us down! Or let me drive, you are terrible at this!" Lelouch sighed and clicked something off. The Knightmare didn't start to go down, though it was hovering inside a cloud. It was dark outside now, after having tested everything else on the Gawain throughout the day and afternoon. The nighttime air was cool, but Kallen had been sweating the whole day in her red pilot's suit for reasons other than heat.

"Going on silent running," Lelouch announced, a free hand to his ear. He turned the communications off. He was tapping a great many buttons on a keyboard beneath the control reins on either side of his pilot throne. Finally he put his hands in his lap.

"You don't enjoy my piloting," Lelouch noted obviously. "You're far more talented, so I suppose it's natural. I had hoped you might agree to be my co-pilot but you don't think like I do, and you seem too nervous to go into battle with your life in my hands."

"I like my Guren much better than your Gawain," Kallen noted. "Sorry, I like having my life in my own hands."

"I can appreciate that viewpoint," Lelouch commented. "I'll have C act as my second." Then he stood and turned to Kallen, standing on his throne to stand almost between Kallen's legs. Kallen was suddenly intensely aware that they were alone on top of the whole Tokyo Settlement, in the air.

Lelouch merely smiled sheepishly at her.

"What?" Kallen asked, curious at his expression.

"That suit looks good on you," Lelouch complimented. Kallen glanced down at Lelouch, unsure what he meant, and then blinked as she finally realized how fit the suit was to her. Lelouch reached up with his left hand. Kallen didn't even move, afraid of what her reaction might be. Lelouch's hand went to grip...his cape to unclasp the black fabric and set it aside, leaving him just in the black and purple suit that gripped his body just as snugly as her own red flight suit. Kallen released a breath, that she hadn't been holding consciously, and frowned at Lelouch's cape, avoiding looking at him.

Kallen almost jumped back when Lelouch leaned forward, slamming his hands down on either side of her hips on her throne, his face smiling a challenge, a fraction of an inch from her own stunned face. There'd been no threat in the action, there was no violence in how his hands had landed noisily a few inches from touching her.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to stay with you last night," Lelouch said, his smile changing to one of honest regret. He leaned closer, shattering the few millimeters of space that existed between them. He didn't kiss her. Instead he nuzzled his nose and forehead against her own softly, like a large predatory cat to a potential mate.

"I'm tired," Lelouch announced, surprising Kallen again, an event that seemed far too common in the last few moments. "I'm tired of acting polite. For once I'd like to act on my instincts."

"And this was your choice of venue?!" Kallen asked angrily, incredulous.

"In the dark, under the moon, alone?" Lelouch asked. He looked up, drawing Kallen's gaze upon the same thing. The screen above them showed a bright, nearly full moon sitting high in the stars. A sound drew Kallen's attention and she realized that the suit was loosening from around her neck and the pressure across her chest lightened slightly.

Lelouch had slipped his hand up unseen and begun to unzip her flight suit.

Kallen glared back down at Lelouch, who met her gaze with a mischievous grin. She inhaled a deep breath and the scent of Lelouch filled her nose. She felt the brush of his bare hand against her neck. (When had he taken off his gloves?)

"Trade me spots," she ordered firmly. Lelouch blinked and smiled. It was awkward to say the least but eventually pair were swapped, Lelouch sat on the command throne of the Gawain, and Kallen stood between his legs. She didn't remain there long. She raised a leg and set her knee firmly to the side of Lelouch's hip, then raised the other leg to sit opposite, and sat down on Lelouch, straddling him.

She put her hands on either side of Lelouch's head, pushing her chest together, but she wriggled to drive her knees further back into the throne to press her body tightly against Lelouch. Then she lowered her hands to Lelouch's head, twisting it up so she could lower her own face to press her lips hungrily against hers. Lelouch was breathless when Kallen pulled away to break the meeting of mouths.

"This isn't going to be like last time," she promised and warned, her voice husky. "This time I'm in charge. Unzip me." The last words were an order. Lelouch glanced down and snaked his bare hand in and gripped the tab of the zipper to her red suit. Lelouch lowered the tab slowly, but Kallen merely growled and Lelouch took the hint and ripped the zipper down quickly. Kallen pulled the suit open slightly to show her pink skin.

Lelouch hummed with appreciation and moved a bare hand to feel the skin. Kallen felt the prince's body reacting to her. Her blood seemed to churn in her veins with heat and life and energy and haste, and she felt pleasure in her heart at the idea of the reaction she caused.

"Help me," Kallen ordered, gripping the open halves of her suit and yanking it open, exposing her shoulders. She began to twist and writhe to free her arms from the garment and Lelouch began to help, tugging and gripping. It was painful to get out of in such a confined space but eventually she was free, wearing nothing above her waist but her headband and a comfortable sports bra.

Kallen removed the bra quickly and watched Lelouch's reaction to Kallen's body. She'd always been nervous about her body, another victim of the society of Britannia always desiring the perfect, unachievable, human ideal. Lelouch didn't sit back and admire her long, instead leaning in and planting a kiss.

A kiss not to the left or right like Kallen expected, but the center of her chest, over her heart. His hands went to her back, stroking his whole hands the skin there. Kallen bunched a hand in a fist in Lelouch's hair. Lelouch winced with a hiss but kissed her chest again.

"You're so hot," Lelouch breathed, his breath like steam against her skin. Kallen blinked and looked down at the top of Lelouch's head. "You're like fire. Less of a moon, more like a second sun to burn my darkness."

Kallen reached Lelouch's throat with her hand and gripped his throat and shoved him to sit back in the throne. Kallen lowered her hand from his neck as he coughed to breathe again (she might have pushed a little too hard,) and found the fastening that held Lelouch's own suit closed. She undid the front of his own suit and lowered her mouth to his chest, suckling and gently biting. She kept lowering her hand until it rest on his upper thigh, where Lelouch's legs met his pelvis, gripping firmly. Her other hand gripped the other side of his pelvis.

Lelouch gave a groan as he realized how close she was to him. His hand moved to grip her flesh in turn on her torso, but her hand flew to his wrist and pinned it by his head with a quick move.

"I said," she growled teasingly, then kissed his chest again, then, "I'm in charge, remember?" Lelouch made a thoughtful but acquiescent noise with an appreciative smirk. Her blood was pumping in her ears, so powerful her heart was beating.

(Enough teasing,) Kallen decided. She wanted to be with Lelouch, now. Kallen climbed to her feet, but she had to bend over Lelouch to fit even in the Gawain's massive cockpit. She bent further to remove her flight suit fully, and then the underwear that was the last obstacle between her and Lelouch.

"Take yours off, now," she ordered. Lelouch moved to remove his own suit and had himself free quickly. Kallen went back to her knees on either side of Lelouch and lowered herself gingerly on Lelouch. They were together now, connected by flesh. Kallen winced at the sensation and fell forward to lean on Lelouch, her head on his shoulder, her face close to hers. Lelouch's face turned to hers and she put her lips against hers, moaning into him.

"Hold me," she pleaded. Lelouch's arms went around her. His arms weren't strong but Kallen felt protected by them anyway. His warmth was important to her. She felt like they were two parts of the same being now they were so connected.

"I love you," Lelouch whispered. Kallen felt like something burst with emotion. She wrapped her arms around his neck with a sob of joy.

"I love you," she answered, and she realized she was tearing up even as she began to move against him to drive them to full.

Schneizel frowned down at a paper message. Zero, no, that was incorrect, Lelouch had caused destabilization in Area Eleven, enough that the Chinese had chosen to try and take the source of Britannia's sakuradite by force, even with Cornelia and her new reinforcements.

"Your highness, an unusual visitor has arrived for Princess Euphemia," a servant announced. Schneizel smiled politely. "They claim to have evidence of Zero's true identity." Schneizel's smile broke, stunned.

"Let them in," Schneizel commanded quickly. After a moment, he added. "And send for Nunnally, as well."

Nunnally was wheeled in on her chair, dressed in a modest nightgown. She must have been sleeping when Schneizel had sent for her. The second prince made a note to apologize later. The three visitors were escorted in next. Schneizel recognized the first as Jeremiah Gottwald, though it looked as though he had had metal grafted to his body in many places. The other two were a japanese man and a dark woman with silver hair. The woman carried a black case.

"I am Prince Schneizel el Britannia," Schneizel greeted, bowing slightly. He gestured to a couch. No one seemed eager to sit down, so Schneizel merely lowered his hand back to his side. "I would like to thank you for presenting this evidence, but it hardly matters now."

"What?!" the woman demanded angrily.

"Zero's identity has already been revealed to me. My brother, Lelouch vi Britannia." All three showed surprise at the mention of the name, but Jeremiah seemed to recognize the name as well. "Which also means there is little that I can do."

"But you're the Prime Minister of Britannia," the Japanese man added, plaintive.

"Ohgi," the woman declared.

"It's not a problem for you, Villeta, you're Britannian." Ohgi looked back to Schneizel. "I'm Japanese, and I risked betraying my friends, and the future of Japan to give you this evidence, and you're telling me I did all that for nothing?" Schneizel frowned with sympathy.

"I am sure I can give you something as a reward," Schneizel replied, "Honorary citizenship, or even a minor title and land-ship, but yes, ultimately Lelouch is a prince of Britannia. As such, he has access to a special law in Britannia's system of government. By giving up his birthright he is forgiven all crimes. Seldom used but as he hasn't exercised that right, he has full ability to in the event he was caught."

"Then why-" Villeta began, demanding.

"Did you capture Lelouch?" Schneizel quickly interrupted.

"No," Nunnally finally spoke. "Big brother you must be mistaken."

"I saw it with my own eyes, Nunnally," Schneizel said, saddened. "As did Euphemia and Suzaku. Lelouch has been Zero all along it seems." Schneizel looked back the visitors and frowned. "I will be sure to have your names taken to reward your loyalty to Britannia."

"Keep it," Ohgi ordered with a growl. Schneizel frowned, incensed. The man turned away from the older prince.

"What if Ohgi and I helped in Zero's capture?" Villeta asked quickly. Ohgi froze mid-step.

"In the event of capturing an enemy of the Empire alive, you could request a boon of the Emperor," Schneizel declared loudly. "Any favor you ask the Emperor would be forced to grant."

"Then we will capture Lelouch for you," Villeta declared.
