Chapter 13: Reunion

[Nobody's POV]

Laxus stared at his sister's empty bed. His thick eyebrows furrowing angrily as he stared at the neatly done bed. There was no way his sister was awake already. She is always the last person up and getting ready. He would need to nudge her 100 times before she finally woke up.

Gajeel stood next to Laxus staring at the bed too.

"I'm sure she's fine. Probably found someone to spend the night with." Gajeel tried to assure the annoyed brother.

"She would have showed up by now." Laxus argued, knowing his sister well. She was not the type to stay if she had a one-night stand. "Something is wrong." Laxus said angrily.

[Juneaux's POV]

"June! June! June!" I heard someone yelling my name and shaking me concern.

I groan tiredly, slowly sitting up, clenching my foggy head.

"What the hell happen?" I hiss angrily, the loud pounding not subsiding in the slightest.

"June! Are you okay, June?!" I heard the voice yell concern.

I felt something small and furry pawing my thigh anxiously.

I groaned, rubbing the sleepiness away from eyes. I tried to blink away the blurriness away.

"June?!" the voice shouted, relieved.

I suddenly felt the small and furry body hug my torso tightly. I looked down surprised and saw a small red, furry cat hugging me tightly.

"Lector?" I whispered confuse; I softly patted his head.

My vision was finally fully back. I quickly scan the area around us. We were floating in a dark abyss with no way out.

"What the hell happened?" I asked confused.

"June are we dead?" Lector suddenly asked.

Then I remember we were hit by an attack.

"No, at least I don't think so." I whispered confused, my voice echoing through the vast darkness.

"Oh, you are awake." Came a voice from within the darkness.

I looked around when suddenly Minerva appeared, her hand rested on her waist and her eyes held pure venom.

"What the hell did you do?" I growled angrily, grabbing Lector and pulled him to me.

"You should be more thankful; I just saved your life after all." Minerva said cunningly.

She played with her furry scarf as she looked at me annoyed.

"I don't understand what Sting's sees in you Fairy trash."

I narrowed my eyes angrily feeling my dragon force about to active. But I held it back, she was just trying to bait me. I was not going to give her the pleasure of getting anger and attacking her.

"Great, thanks for saving us, now let us go." I said through clenched teeth.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible just yet. Sting has to hold up his end of the bargain first." She explained secretively.

"What do you mean?"

"Sting must win the Grand Magic Games with his newfound power, by any means necessary." She taunted smugly. "That's if he wants to see you two again. That's the price for saving you two." She grinned evilly.

I bite my lower lip angrily. Sting…the position you have been placed in because of us. I looked around the vast darkness and stared at her.

"How long have we been here?" I asked realizing I never made it back to my hotel.

Laxus must be furious. Gramps is probably worried. Everyone must be worried too.

"One day and a half, the games are about to start again." She explained vaguely.

"My brother, you have to let him know I'm ok at last." I begged. Laxus wouldn't be focus if he wasn't able to find me.

"Tsk, tsk, no." She scowled darkly, waving her finger no. "The fairies being worried about you is to our advantage, they won't concentrate."

I growled angrily launching at her, I swung my fist towards her face, and she disappeared. I looked around and smelt her behind me. I quickly turned around and this time landed a punch.

Minerva stumbled back and she glared viciously at me. She held her cheek as we glared at each other.

"This may be your magic. But my senses are 10 times better than yours, Saber trash." I spat mocking her angrily.

Minerva grinned evilly.

"I'll have my fun with you soon enough." She growled disappearing again.

"June!" Lector yelled concerned.

He jumped onto my back holding onto my neck his cheek rubbing up against mine.

"Are you hurt?" He asked.

"No, I'm fine. We gotta find a way out of here Lector and let Sting know we are fine."

He nodded his head.

[Nobody's POV]

"Laxus, the games are about to begin. We will continue looking for June." Freed told his leader delicately.

Laxus growled angrily. When June didn't show up by noon, he brought it to his grandfather's attention. To make matters worse, Lucy had also been taken. Now they had two missing members.

"Don't stop until you find her." Laxus ordered upset.

"We won't Laxus." Evergreen assured their leader.

June's search party consisted of Evergreen, Freed, Bickslow and Lisanna. While Lucy's was Natsu, Wendy, Mirajane and Happy. Both teams went to find their guildmates while the game's final stage began.

[Juneaux's POV]

I floated in the black abyss thinking about my last words to Sting. His horrified face. I closed my eyes sadly. I hurt him. Not intentionally, but he got hurt because of me.

"June, look, something is coming." Lector shook me scared.

I stared at the opening and stared at it worriedly. Suddenly the cat girl from yesterday's event fell through the hole. Erza's friend, what was her name? Millianna. I moved towards her, but she seem to be knocked out cold. She had a couple of scrapes and bruises here and there, like she had fought someone.

"Brought you someone to keep you company." Minerva's voice echo through the silent abyss.

I clenched my hands cradling the injured girl close to me.

"I seem to be bored. I'm tired of waiting for those Fairy Tail loser to come to me." Minerva said darkly appearing before me. "Maybe I can have my fun with the girl." She offered.

"No." I said sternly, holding onto Millianna tightly.

"Are you offering to keep me entertain instead?" she asked smugly.

I glared at her, placing Millianna down.

"Or maybe I can have some fun with the kitty cat." She smirked darkly.

I clenched my teeth. I looked at the passed out Millianna and then at Lector.

"Fine, just don't hurt them." I said defeated.

"And June, no fighting back or else I will have to punish the girl." She threatened.

Miverna suddenly appeared in front of my punching me hard on the face. I stumbled back holding onto my bruised jaw. I smirked at Minerva.

"You hit like a girl." I spat tauntingly.

Minerva glared hotly. She then kneed me in the stomach, knocking the wind out of me. I fell to my knees holding my aching stomach.

"Maybe the one who needs to be punished is you Junie." Minerva growled, pulling a whip out. "I'm going to enjoy this." She hissed.

I smirked smugly, "Give it your best shot."

[Nobody's POV]

Laxus leaned against the wall holding his aching sides. He was able to the beat the Sabertooth lightning mage and get the information he needed. He sister was alive and well, the woman mage from their guild had his sister as a hostage. He was going to destroy Sabertooth and demand his sister's return even if it was the last thing he did.

But one question still bugged him. What had drawn his sister to the Sabertooth hotel last night and how was she caught so easily. Something was missing. Some information was missing that he wasn't aware of. But right now, he wasn't going to question it he needed to get his sister back.

Laxus looked towards the distance where the last Sabertooth member was waiting for him and the rest of the Fairy Tail team.

[Juneaux's POV]

"June, wake up!" someone shook me eagerly and concerned.

I groaned tiredly everything hurt. I slowly strained to get up onto my knees holding my aching sides. I looked around the destroyed area. I was lying in a pile of rubble. I winced painfully feeling the dirt stinging my open wounds. I looked at my arms studying the somewhat old wounds with dry blood. I blinked confuse trying to recall how I ended up here.

"We made it out June!" Lector exclaimed happily. I felt his warm tears fall onto my chest, my dirty clothes soaking them up.

'Made it out?' I thought shocked.

Suddenly everything came back like a flashflood. Sabertooth. Sting's horrified look. Jiemma…Jiemma's attack! Then floating in that weird empty space. Minerva whipping the shit out of me.

"Shit!" I exclaimed loudly, covering my mouth in shock with one of my hands shocked.

"I know." Lector replied shakily, pulling away slowly. "But I don't understand how we ended up here." He continued confused.

"We have to find Sting." I muttered weakly, trying to get onto my feet, slowly trying to stand.

I groan weakly as my joints cracked and protested angrily as I stood up. I hiss painfully, my knees giving out and they slammed onto the rubble, using my hands I broke my fall.

"June!" Lector yelled concern, running to my side.

"I'm fine Lector." I whispered painfully, tiredly. "Seems my magic power is really low, and these wounds don't help." I muttered annoy, digging my fingers angrily into the ground.

"Lector you have to go find help. I'll wait here." I ordered the small cat softly, slowly sitting back down onto the ground.

"No! I won't leave you behind! I promise to protect Sting's happiness! You're Sting's happiness! I'm going to protect you until we find Sting!" Lector exclaimed determinedly, his small hands turning in small fists.

I smiled lightly at the determined cat.

"Ok." I whispered, agreeing with him.

"June, are you ok?!" I suddenly heard someone ask concerned.

I looked up surprised and saw Millianna jogging over to us. She finally reached us panting softly, kneeling beside me concern.

"Junie! You also made it out from that weird place!" she yelled relief hugging me tightly.

I groaned out in pain at the sudden movement.

"Careful, you idiot! She's hurt!" Lector hissed angrily.

She suddenly gasped shocked, looking over my gravely wounded body.

"I'm sorry Junie! This was my fault." She whimpered tearfully.

"It's ok, Millianna. You're Erza's childhood friend?" I said softly, wrapping an arm around my aching stomach.

"Still, I'm sorry!" She whimpered.

I suddenly felt Lector jump onto my shoulder gently, he stood on my shoulder softly touching my cheek with his paw.

"I'm alright Lector." I whispered softly. I smiled at Lector's concern.

"Oh my god! A kitty cat!" Millianna yelled happily, making a weird like cat dance as she stared at Lector with heart shape eyes.

"Millianna." I said seriously, knocking her out of her cat daze.

She stopped looking at me confuse.

"Where are we?" I asked looking around the run-down place. Everything had been destroyed.

"Will from what I've seen and heard so far it seems the final day of games is on. This place right here is apparently what's left of Kagura's, Erza's and Minerva's fight." Millianna explained seriously, glancing around the run-down place.

"So, the games are still at on?!" I yelled nervously. "Who's winning?!" I exclaimed.

"Fairy Tail." Millianna answered happily, but then her smile slowly faded.

"What's wrong?" I questioned confused.

"Will, all of the Fairy Tail members are stilling standing, but, they are all severely wounded from their fights. They're on their way to fight the only person left standing." Millianna explained seriously.

"Who's the last person?" I questioned concern. My stomach twisted nervously at the thought of Sting being the last man reminding.

"Well, the last person reminding is Sting Eucliffe from Sabertooth. Up until now he hasn't fought anybody, he was saving his strength for whoever remind." Millianna continued sternly. Explaining everything she had heard since she appeared from the void.

I gasped, but then hiss angrily clenching my fist, "Minerva." I growled pissed. "We have to go find them, Sting needs to know we're alive and alright." I told Millianna seriously.

An uneasiness feeling coursed through my stomach at the thought of Fairy Tail fighting against Sting. I knew these was going to happen…but, not like this. They needed to know we're alright. Especially Laxus, he needed to know I was alright. Laxus' nasty temper won't be good for Sting.

"Millianna, I need you to help me get there." I plead.

Millianna nodded with understanding, helping me stand up.

"It's the least I can do for you Junie. You shield me from Minerva's torture. I'll owe you for a while." She said seriously, softly slipping my arm around her shoulder, she then slipped her other arm around my waist, supporting most of my weight.

Lector gently crawl onto my other shoulder and slowly settle onto my awaiting arm. I gently pull him closer making sure he was safe in my embrace.

"June…Sting will be alright, right?" Lector questioned distressed, looking up at me tearfully.

"Of course, he is. He's our Sting and our Sting is the best. He's the strongest, we mustn't lose faith in him Lector." I told the small cat happily.

He grinned tearfully, nodding his head in agreement.

"Let's go Millianna." I ordered softly and she nodded.

Slowly we made our way to where the final battle was about to go down.

[Nobody's POV]

Sting stood stun, he looked over the severely wounded Fairy Tail members as they stood in front of him proudly, confidently. Sting tighten his fist in frustration as he stared at them, the dim moonlight seemly glowing around them.

"Why do you love Fairy Tail so much?" Sting asked Juneaux seriously, furrowing his eyebrows with confusion.

"It's all I know." Juneaux whispered affectionately, a warm smile gracing her lips as she thought about her time growing up in Fairy Tail. "I guess you could say I was always destined to be a part of Fairy Tail, it's a family thing." Juneaux explained happily. "Plus, I can't imagine what my life would be like without Fairy Tail." Juneaux added happily. "I always felt lonely growing up. My father was a bastard. He would pin my brothers and myself against each other. Whenever I felt lonely and I would reach my hand out, there would be someone there to lift my spirits. Fairy Tail kept me warm, safe, and happy. Fairy Tail is my family." Juneaux finished fondly.

She looked at Sting a huge grin on her face, Sting stared at her lost for words.

"After all, that's what a Guild is supposed to be, right, Sting?" Juneaux questioned him warmly.

Sting just stared at her stun.

"I can't…" Sting whispered shamefully, his fist tightening tighter, turning snow white. "I can't win like this…" he muttered in frustration.

Sting looked at the reminding Fairy Tail members one last time before he fell defeated to his knees, feeling the tears of frustration and regret slip down his face.

"I give up." Sting stated in failure, loud and clear for everyone to hear.

"This is unbelievable! Fairy Tail wins!" The announcer yelled stun with disbelief.

Everything seems to fade to quietness as he realized he'll probably never see Juneaux and Lector again. He pounded the ground angrily, clenching his fist in despair at the thought of losing Juneaux and Lector.

But he wouldn't have been able to face them if he had won like this. This wasn't him. Juneaux believed in him. Juneaux believed he's a strong, brave and compassionate man, not this coward.

He slowly looked up when he heard faint footsteps making their way towards him, they suddenly stop in front of him. Sting stared at the red hair mage in front of him, tears of frustration lining his sorrowfully blue eyes.

"Sting, why didn't you fight us?" Erza questioned him confuse.

"I wouldn't have been able to face them." Sting muttered shamefully, looking at the ground instead of the woman in front of him. "I wouldn't have been able to face her." He empathized on her miserably.

"You mean June?" Erza questioned, furrowing her eyebrows with confusion.

"Where's my sister you bastard." Laxus growled angrily, taking a threatening step towards him.

Before Sting could tell Juneaux's Guild mate about her fate someone's yelling stopped him.

"Er-chan!" Millianna shouted happily at the distance. "Look who I found!" Millianna continued shouting happily as she neared them.

Erza and the rest of Fairy Tail looked up at the nearing woman and notice another wounded woman struggling to walk beside her. They all gasp shocked, relief washing over them as they saw their other missing friend nearing them.

"Juneaux." Erza whispered in relief.

Sting's head shot up at the sound of Juneaux's name.

"STING!" Lector shouted happily from Juneaux's arm, waving happily at his partner. "Sting!" he shouted again.

Sting turned around in disbelief, tears burning to slip out as he stared at Juneaux's wounded form nearing him with Lector in her arms.

"Lector…" Sting whispered stun, his disbelief blue eyes collided with another pair of tearfully happy blue eyes. "Juneaux…." Sting whispered softly.

"Sting!" Juneaux yelled happily, tears streaming down her face.

Juneaux pulled away from Millianna and with the last of her strength clumsily made her way towards Sting. Sting tearfully stumbled onto his feet running towards them. Juneaux ignored her aching body, it protested with agony as she stumbled towards him.

She just needed to feel him, she needed to make sure he's real and he's alright. Juneaux squeaked in pain, losing her footing, and as she fell a pair of gloved hands wounded around her waist keeping her from the ground. The hands hurriedly pulled her towards his strong and warm chest, embracing her protectively.

"Sting!" Juneaux sobbed happily, hugging him back as tightly as she could.

"Juneaux." Sting exclaimed relief. "I thought I lost you, forever." Sting explained sorrowfully, feeling the tears slip out.

"Can't…breathe!" Someone exclaimed, out of breath, urgently.

Juneaux gasped shocked pulling away, forgetting about Lector. Lector quickly crawled onto my shoulder panting for air.

"Lector!" Sting exclaimed just as overjoy to see his furry partner alive as well.

"Sting!" Lector shouted happily jumping onto Sting's chest, hugging him tightly.

Juneaux looked at them happily, smiling warmly at the reunion.

"Sting, just like I promised I protected your happiness. I made sure Juneaux was safe until she was by your side again." Lector said proudly, grinning at him.

"I know, thank you pal, I knew I could count on you." Sting replied happily.

Sting looked up at Juneaux, smiling fondly at her. Juneaux smiled back happily.

"Sting, what are you waiting for, kiss her." Lector demanded eagerly, teasing the blond.

Sting smirked at Lector, as he jumped down to the ground. Sting took a step towards Juneaux, gently placing a hand on her cheek while the other softly grabbed her waist, pulling her towards him.

"I don't need to be told twice." Sting whispered huskily, his warm breath blowing all over Juneaux's face, making her knees weaker than they already were.

"Sting, I love you." Juneaux whispered, tearfully at their nearing lips.

"I love you too, Juneaux."

He closed the space between them, firmly placing his lips against Juneaux's, kissing her passionately. All his grief, despair and relief flowing into that one single kiss.

Juneaux placed her hands on his chest, grabbing two fists full of his jacket, eagerly pulling him closer to her. She kissed him back with just the same amount of emotion. Their tears mixing in with the loving kiss as they held each other intimately.

Slowly they pulled away breathing heavily, they stared into each other's eyes fondly. Juneaux grip tighten on Sting's jacket as they continued to stare at each other.

Suddenly someone cleared their throat rather loudly and annoyed, breaking the loving couple out of their love daze. Juneaux looked behind Sting, slightly embarrassed at the show of intimate affection. Sting also slowly turn around gulping nervously as he stared into another carbon copy of Juneaux's eyes. But these were glaring murderously at him.

"June, what the hell is going?" Laxus questioned seriously, narrowing his eyes at Sting.

Sting nervously took Juneaux's hand squeezing it reassuringly.

"We thought Sabertooth had kidnapped you." Gray questioned concern, taking a couple of steps towards me.

"No, actually, it's a funny story what happen to me." Juneaux spoke nervously, laughing sheepishly trying to ease the tension.

"Oh, really, make me laugh, Juneaux." Laxus said grimly, glaring at their joint hands.

"Sting and I have been seeing each other." Juneaux said sheepishly, smiling wearily at her friends.

They all gasp shocked, expect for Gajeel who just snickered knowingly. Laxus narrowed his eyes murderously at Sting, his jaw slacking tightly.

"You've been fooling around with my baby sister?" Laxus growled at Sting.

Sting squeaked nervously, letting go of Juneaux's hand he waved his hands around frantically trying to explain the situation to Laxus.

"It's not like that Laxus." Juneaux spoke up firmly, standing in front of Laxus annoyed. "I love Sting and he loves me. We make each other happy." Juneaux explained seriously, glaring just as threateningly back at Laxus.

Laxus stared at Juneaux surprised, he stared at her trying to find a lie behind her words but saw nothing. He glanced over at Sting who was staring at Juneaux's back lovingly. Laxus sighed annoying, making a sound of annoyance.

"Listen up punk, you hurt my sister, I'll fry you." Laxus threatened seriously, not lighten up on his glare.

Sting gulped nervously, nodding his head in agreement, "I would never do anything to harm her or bring harm to her." Sting suddenly straighten up, looking at Laxus seriously.

Laxus just smirk.

"Juneaux, explain what happened the other night?" Erza questioned seriously.

"I wanted to make sure Sting was alright after his fight with Natsu. I sneaked into Sabertooth's inn, I got caught and Master Jiemma found out about Sting and me. He didn't take it too well, he tried to kill Lector and me." Juneaux explain seriously, Sting's grip tightened as he tried not to remember that moment. "But at the last-minute Minerva was able to save us with her magic."

"Is that why you're hurt?" Juvia question concerned.

Juneaux shook my head, "Minerva was going to torture Millianna, I convinced her to torture me instead." she muttered softly, squeezing Sting's hand, trying to calm him down.

She looked at him, an unhappy frown covered his face as I weakly smiled at him.

"I'm alright, this is nothing, I've had worse." Juneaux said determinedly.

"Wait, where's Natsu? Wasn't he on the team?" Juneaux questioned looking at the new team.

"Lucy was taken by the royal guard." Gray explained seriously.

"What when?" Juneaux asked disbelief.
