Remnant's Climax Heroes:

A Christmas Special

It was another day at Beacon Academy. But during this time of year, the weather was a lot cooler than usual. As such, the students now wore warmer clothing to keep themselves from freezing. Granted, it's not cold like the continent of Solitas, but it was still cold nonetheless.

For four certain boys, it was time for the age-old holiday that they celebrated back home on Planet Earth. A jolly holiday of gift-giving, cookies, and a big rotund man with a white beard in a red suit. The Rider Base was already decorated with holiday lights, stockings, and there was a Christmas tree in the corner with ornaments of Kamen Rider symbols. And the supercomputer was currently playing Christmas music.

"This is the one holiday I never get tired of." Kurogasa grinned to himself as he was currently decorating a gingerbread house.

"Damn straight! I love Christmas! And the one thing I like most about it is Christmas cookies!" Orion said with a wide grin brimming with joy.

"Did someone say cookies?!"

"Uh-oh…" Orpheus muttered.

Arriving in the Rider Base in a burst of rose petals was the leader of Team RWBY… Ruby Rose.

"Ruby's here." Aaron said.

"Where are the cookies?! Where are they?!" Ruby demanded as she clinging onto Orion, her legs wrapped around her boyfriend's waist and grabbing his collar, shaking him hard.

"They're not even made yet!?" Orion quickly answered, his eyes replaced by comical swirls.

"Ruby, down. Now." Aaron told the little reaper.

"But-"

"Now." Aaron repeated calmly.

"Mmmmmm…" Ruby pouted before letting go of Orion and getting off of him.

"Thank you." Aaron said. "That being said, we've yet to make desserts, let alone dinner. And we still need to go shopping for Christmas presents."

"What's Christmas?" Ruby asked in confusion.

Team JOKR fell to the ground anime-style.

"Seriously, Rubes?" Orion asked. "You don't have any idea what Christmas is?"

"Nope!" Ruby said, without shame.

"I forgot Remnant doesn't have Earth-based holidays…" Orpheus said with a sweat drop.

"Well, Ruby, to make a long-story short, Christmas is a holiday celebrated every year on December 24th and 25th where friends and family get together, exchange presents, and celebrate in a variety of ways." Aaron explained. "Some celebrate with sweets, gift-giving, or even Christmas dinner. This year, we're celebrating it since we've hardly had a chance to do so."

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh~" Ruby nodded in understanding, before smiling. "That sounds like fun!"

"Yup, though it'll be difficult with only the four of us." Orion stated.

"Why?" Ruby tilted her head in confusion.

"Well… there's not enough people to celebrate and I'm sure all of Remnant has never heard of Christmas." Kurogasa explained.

"Christmas?" They heard a collection of voices outside. Kurogasa and the others looked at the entrance and saw the rest of Team RWBY, alongside the Greeed Koa.

"See, they were talking about celebrating this Christmas fellow." Koa explained to the group, causing the four to facepalm.

"Interesting. Kuro, can you and the others explain who this Christmas person is?" Weiss asked Kurogasa.

"Christmas isn't a person. It's a holiday." Aaron corrected.

"It's a holiday?" Blake asked.

Kurogasa, Orion, and Orpheus all looked to Aaron, "What are you looking at me for?"

"Well, all of us aren't gonna explain it." Orion said.

"So, you just dump it all on me. How nice…" The crimson-eyed teen said sarcastically.

"Hey, teaching them Japanese is one thing, but explaining a holiday is an entirely different matter." Kurogasa replied.

"Fine…" Aaron said, before he started his explanation. "Back where we come from, Christmas began with an old legend." Aaron began. "Essentially, it started out as the date when a god was born."

"A god?" Yang raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, a god that became man to visit his people." Aaron said. "But forgetting the obvious religious proprietary, the main focus of Christmas centers around a jolly fat man in a red winter outfit. We call him, Santa Claus."

"Santa Claus?" They all asked.

"That's right. He's a jolly old man that rides on a sled pulled by eight reindeer, some claim it was nine, and flew around the air, going from house to house, going down people's chimneys and putting presents under the Christmas tree and in stockings to good children."

"But… how would he get in since he's fat? And wouldn't that be breaking and entering?" Koa asked.

"That's not the point, Koa." Orpheus sweat dropped.

"As I was saying," Aaron leveled an annoyed glare at the Greeed then continued, "He gives presents to good girls and boys. But for the bad children, he gives them a lump of coal."

"Why coal?" Yang asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Let me put it to you this way. Would you be happy if you woke up on Christmas morning, went downstairs to the living room, opened up a present and only saw coal?" Aaron clarified.

"Well, obviously I'd be mad."

"Exactly." Aaron nodded. "So, if you behave like a good child, you'd be getting the goodies."

"Does Santa deliver any kind of present?" Nora asked, a strange gleam in her eyes.

"That's what the stories… Hey, wait a minute, when did you get here?"

"Just now. And the others too." Nora said, as the rest of JNPR came in.

"Hello again!" Pyrrha waved.

"Don't worry, we got the gist of it." Ren assured. "You don't have to explain it all over."

"Good, because then I would've gone crazy." Aaron said with a straight face. "Anyways, yes, Santa does bring a multitude of gifts."

"Weiss, you know grandpa's portrait that hangs all over the house and how we know things from this world?" Kurogasa asked Weiss, to which she nodded, "Well, grandpa alludes to Santa Claus. Or more accurately, Saint Nicholas."

"Wait, really?!" Weiss said, relatively shocked.

"Huh, how about that. Ice Queen's got a grandpa who's like this Santa Claus." Yang said, impressed.

"Don't make me hurt you…"

"Okay, let's not resort to violence. Now that you're all here, we can set up Christmas decorations." Aaron interjected, but then he had an idea going through his head. "Better yet… when's Winter Break?"

"Beginning of next week, and we're off for two weeks during that time." Blake answered.

"Good. Ruby, Yang, you think your old man would let us use the house for Winter Break?" Aaron asked the half-sisters.

"Sure, dad and little Melody would love to see everyone again." Ruby said with a smile. The girls blushed with a smile, already thinking about the cute little baby girl they saved a while back.

Aaron grinned, "Good, we'll have plenty of time to get gifts for everyone, prepare Christmas dinner and desserts, maybe bring in a few Christmas movies as well."

"Uh, dude," Orion whispered, "Remember, no Christmas in Remnant. They know nothing about the classics."

"Ah, Orion, my big dumb friend. Did you forget about my Semblance?"

"Huh- ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…" Orion realized.

"Yep, so no need to worry. Just a little teleporting and we're good to go." Aaron stated. "With that out of the way, let's go Christmas shopping!"

"Banzai!" Ruby declared, raising a fist up.

"Banzai!" Yang and Blake cheered, with Weiss facepalming.

And so, the group went into the City of Vale in the Commercial District where teams JOKR, RWBY, and JNPR had several hours to find whatever Christmas presents they wanted to give to each other, and thanks to Aaron building several Capsule Corp. Capsules. They would store their presents in said capsules for later so they could wrap them at a later date.

They were to reconvene at the Town Center within three hours. Let's see how they're doing, shall we?

"Ohhhhh, I don't know what to choose." Ruby said, as she walked with Orion, Weiss, and Kurogasa.

"What do you mean?" Orion asked his girlfriend.

"I mean I know this whole giving presents thing is new to me, but I don't know what to give to the others." Ruby pouted.

"Well, if anything Ruby, it should be something thoughtful and from the heart." Kurogasa said. "Because it's the act of giving a gift that makes them happy. To wish deep in your heart to make someone else happy."

"You have a real way with words, you know that?" Ruby said in awe at Kurogasa's words.

"Enough of that," Orion pushed Kurogasa to the side. "Ruby, you just gotta go with your gut. And I don't mean filling it with cookies. You just gotta think about what would mean something to your friends."

Ruby looked down in contemplative thought, humming as she wonders what her friends would want.

"In the meantime, I'm gonna find me the perfect Christmas cake." Orion said before zipping away at the speed of light.

"Gah! Wait for me!" Ruby exclaimed, zipping after him in a flurry of rose petals.

"Well, so much for giving her some thought." Kurogasa pouted. "And I wasn't lying about it either."

"I'm sure she'll figure something out." Weiss said. "What about you? Have you figured out presents?"

"Well…" Kurogasa trailed off. "I figured out yours, as for the others, well… it might take me a bit more time than usual."

"Well, like Aaron said, we've got plenty of time." Weiss pointed out.

"Yeah, you're right." Kurogasa nodded.

Meanwhile, with Aaron, Blake, and Yang…

"Blake, you're not getting a lifetime supply of fish…" Aaron deadpanned.

"Even if I asked or begged?" Blake asked with puppy-dog eyes.

"Yes, even that." Aaron stated. "My wallet wouldn't survive."

"But-"

"Need I remind you that I still have to get the others' presents?" Aaron reminded his sister. Blake flinched at that, before pouting. "Tell ya what, if you're a good girl, I'll get the most expensive tuna I can find."

"Fine." Blake said, still pouting but her flicking cat ears and blushing face revealed her emotions easily.

"Wonderful! Now, let's see what we can get for the others."

"You have any idea what you're getting?" Yang asked.

"No clue whatsoever!" Aaron answered bluntly.

"Wow, someone's cheap." Yang deadpanned.

"I am not!" Aaron retorted. "I just haven't figured out what to get everyone yet!"

"Right, right." Yang waved off nonchalantly, before walking ahead with a teasing smirk on her face.

"Geez, I don't get her sometimes." Aaron groaned, with a shake of his head.

"That's Yang for you." Blake said.

And finally with Orpheus, Koa, and JNPR.

"Oooooooh, I wonder if I should get this." Nora said looking at a window display that had mannequins of… er-hem, something not appropriate for Christmas.

"No, Nora. That's not what Aaron meant about getting into the Christmas spirit." Ren told the orange head.

"But Renny!" Nora whined.

"Why is she looking at lingerie…?" Orpheus muttered to Pyrrha.

"I don't know…" Pyrrha groaned with an embarrassed blush. "Then again, I wouldn't be surprised, since she's been trying to get Ren's attention for a long time."

"Why is it taking him so long to notice her?" Orpheus pondered. "I mean, seriously. Does she have to get naked or- Oh god, please don't let that actually happen."

"Maybe he's that dense…" Jaune guessed.

"No, Ren would never be that dense." Pyrrha shook her head.

"Well, it's either that or he's completely aware of her feelings and ignoring her, and that's worse." Orpheus frowned.

"There's something there, but it hasn't exactly bloomed in his mind yet." Koa says, eyeing some toys and writing them down on a list.

"How do you know?"

"I'm a Greeed, remember? It's kinda my thing." She said nonchalantly, before tapping Orpheus on the nose. "Boop."

"What was that for?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to do that," Koa smiled, teasingly. "Orphee~."

"Orphee janai. Orpheus da. And if you think about getting lingerie, I'm taking your toys away."

"Nooooo~ anything but my toys~!" Koa whined.

Orpheus sighed as he rubbed her head, earning him a kiss on the cheek. "Alright, raunchy clothing aside, we still have some shopping to do." The auburn-haired young man said.

"Right, do you have any ideas what you're gonna get?" Jaune asked him.

"I might have a few ideas." Orpheus answered.

A few days later…

Over in Patch, Taiyang was cradling the baby Faunus girl who was sleeping peacefully in his arms. It warmed his heart how this girl was so much like his own daughters when they were her age. "Heh, they grow up so fast…" Taiyang reminisced to himself as Melody continued sleeping peacefully.

Zwei's head suddenly rose up as his ears perked up at a sound. "BARK! BARK!"

"Keep it down Zwei, Melody's sleeping." Taiyang reprimanded the corgi.

Zwei gave a whine as he went up to the door and scratched on it. Thinking the poor pup needed to go to the bathroom, Taiyang sighed as he walked over to the door.

But upon opening it…

"Hey, Dad!"

"R-Ruby? Yang? What are you girls doing here?" Taiyang said in surprise.

"BARK!" Zwei barked again before jumping into Ruby's arms, licking her face.

"Ack! Zwei, no! That tickles!" Ruby laughed as she fell over, trying to keep the dog from licking her.

"Nice to see you again, dad." Yang said with a smile before fawning over the sleeping baby.

"But seriously, what are you two doing here?" Taiyang asked.

"Uh… about that." Yang said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. "We… brought some company over."

Taiyang raised an eyebrow, before looking over her shoulder and seeing teams JOKR and JNPR with Koa laughing at Ruby's expense. "You forgot to call ahead again, didn't you?" Taiyang deadpanned, to which Yang giggled nervously.

"Pardon us, Mr. Xiao Long. We wanted to celebrate a holiday from our old home at your place." Aaron said, coming to the rescue of his buxom girlfriend. Taiyang looked at them for a moment, before sighing.

"Come on in, I bet you're all freezing out here."

"Thank you, sir," Aaron said before looking back, "Alright, guys and gals, let's get inside and start decorating!"

"Yeah!" They cheered, as Melody began to stir from the ruckus.

"Mmmmmmmmmm…" Melody moaned.

"Ah, she's waking up." Taiyang grimaced, bracing himself for an eventual crying fit.

"Hi, Melody! Mama's back!" Ruby cooed at the Faunus baby.

Melody looked at Ruby for a moment before smiling brightly and stretched out her arms to her. "Mama!"

Ruby quickly scooped her adopted daughter into her arms and rubbed her cheek affectionately against the little wolf girl's own. "Oh, I missed your cute little face, my sweet Melody!"

"Hard to believe that wolf pup's gonna grow up and get together with-" Orion began, but was cut off when Aaron elbowed his gut.

"Let's not ruin the future. Otherwise, it'll end up turning into a paradox." Aaron reminded the super strong teen.

"Fine…" Orion pouted.

"Let's get these decorations set up, the food prepped, and the festivities going." Orpheus told the others.

"What holiday are you even celebrating?" Taiyang asked.

"Christmas." The gathering of teens answered.

"Christmas?" Taiyang raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"Ughhhh…" Aaron facepalmed. This was gonna take a while…

Time skipping past another long-winded explanation, Taiyang seemed to understand the gist of the holiday. "Huh, I think I've got the idea now." He said.

"Good, then I don't have to explain it again…" Aaron sighed. "Anyways, I don't suppose you have rooms to spare for all of us, do ya?"

"You'd be surprised. This house has got plenty of room!" Taiyang grinned.

"Great. Meaning, we have a lot of things to do here." Aaron grinned.

First up was finding the perfect Christmas tree. Although the trees surrounding the forests of Patch, weren't exactly the ones they were looking for.

"So, how do we know where to find the perfect Christmas tree?" Ruby asked.

"Well, for one, none of these trees fit the bill. We need the kind that are built for winter seasons." Aaron answered. "They're pointy and triangle-shaped. And it gives off a minty scent."

"Oh, those are usually in Mistral and Atlas." Yang stated.

"Yeah, they also have spiny branches as well as those cone things." Ruby explained.

"Pinecones." Orion said.

"Yeah, that's it!"

"Well great… so no pine trees here in Patch…" Aaron deadpanned. Then a flash of inspiration hit him, "Unless…" He rubbed his chin. "I need an axe."

"Please tell me you're not planning what I think you're planning…" Orion said with dread.

"Hehehehehehehe…"

"Oh no…"

"What?" Yang asked.

"He's really gonna do it." Kurogasa paled.

"Yup." Koa deadpanned.

"What?!" Yang asked again.

"He's a madman." Orion said dryly.

"Was he ever sane?" Ruby pondered.

"Guys, what is he gonna do?!" Yang demanded crossly.

"This, baby!" Aaron said as he used his Semblance to access DecaDriver once more, then called forth a Dimensional Wall to leave the group behind.

"Aaron, don't just ditch us out here in the cold!" Ruby shouted.

"Oi! Come back here, Pinky!" Koa and Kurogasa shouted at the rippling curtain wall of silver.

"PINKU JANAI! MAGENTA DA!"

And with that, the silver wall vanished.

"Great… so now what?" Ruby pouted, crossing her arms. Suddenly, a snowball hit the red reaper upside the head as she turned to see Koa snickering.

"Snowball fight!" Orion shouted, lifting up… a boulder-sized snowball then threw it right at the group.

"Oh fudge…" Ruby paled, as she quickly dashed out of the way alongside Weiss, Kurogasa, Pyrrha, and Koa. The others weren't so lucky, as they were buried underneath the humongous snowball.

"This. Means. WAR." Koa said with a growl. Quickly, the group set up huge snow forts and prepared for battle.

"Prepare yourselves for the bitterness of defeat!" Orion declared dramatically.

"It is you that will taste that bitterness!" Ruby retorted in similar dramatic fashion.

"Ha! I'd like to see you try for none can stand against the almighty Frost King!" Orion exclaimed.

"We will see your reign end, Frost King!" Koa shouted, followed by her allies' cheers.

"Fools! My loyal knights and I shall see that your rebellion ends here and now!" The older Arc twin declared. Those that joined onto Orion's side also joined their voices with his, shouting in triumph.

"CHARGE!" Koa shouted, as her friends charged towards the frosty fortress.

"Fire!" Orion shouted, as snowballs were thrown at the charging enemies. Koa and Yang acted as shields whilst Pyrrha, Ruby, and Orpheus were hurling snowballs at the fortress walls in hopes of breaching them.

"The walls are slowly holding but I estimate they will not hold for long, General brother sir!" Jaune says with a mock salute. "What are your orders?"

"Deploy 'it'…"

"It?"

"It…"

"A-As you command!" Jaune saluted once more. "Prepare the secret weapon!"

"Aye-Aye, Captain!" Nora said with a nod.

"BARK! BARK!"

"Nooooo! How dare you use Zwei!" Ruby gasped.

"You fiends!" Koa exclaimed. "All hands, focus all fire upon the main wall!" The group threw multiple snowballs as Nora and Jaune were placing Zwei up on a large slingshot.

"I got a bad feeling about this…" Pyrrha said nervously.

"Zwei, my loyal friend! Deliver a painful defeat to the enemy and you shall be greatly rewarded with delicious doggy treats!" Orion told the corgi being loaded on the slingshot.

"BARK!" Zwei gave a confident bark, before showing that he was now wearing goggles.

"Where did he get those goggles from?" Jaune asked.

"Don't question it." Orion told his twin then focused back on the battle. "FIRE!"

Nora released the slingshot, letting the corgi soar towards the enemy fort.

"INCOMING!" Orpheus shouted.

*KABOOM!*

And with that, Zwei comes down in a mushroom cloud of snow.

Orion laughed out loud in faux evil laughter, "None shall stand before me! For I am the Frost King! Kneel before me and give me infinity!"

Just then, a snowball hit him square in the head.

"I am slain!" Orion said dramatically as he fell on his back. "Ker-bleagh."

Meanwhile, Kurogasa, Ren, Weiss, and Blake were sitting on the sidelines having hot chocolate, watching the scene before them. "Warm enough for you three?" He asked.

"Yep," The two girls and boy answered as they sipped their sweet drinks.

"Hey~ no fair! Why are you not joining in on the fun and having all the hot chocolate to yourself?!" Koa cried out.

"Because the four of us are civilized." Weiss answered curtly. A snowball then hit the heiress in the face as Ruby snickered, indicating that she was the assailant. When the snow fell off her face, only her eyes and lips were visible. "You've done it this time…" She growled, before summoning a glyph and with it, a summoned Armed Gigas rose from the glyph.

"Uh-oh…" Ruby paled, chuckling nervously.

"Get her!" Koa shouted, before the Armed Gigas tossed a snowball into Jaune. "RUN!"

The group ran away from an angry Weiss and her Armed Gigas, to which Kurogasa merely chuckled as he enjoyed his hot chocolate.

"YAHOO!" Yang cheered as she was riding a sled down a nearby hill.

"Come on Weiss, you gotta try this!" Ruby said, holding up a sled meant for three people.

"And why would I-"

"Would you do it if I was on the sled with you?" Kurogasa asked. Weiss looked at him then at Ruby using her most deadliest weapon ever; sad puppy eyes.

"Ugh, fine…" Weiss sighed, finally giving in.

"YAHOOOOOOOO!" Ruby cheered.

"Alright, get on." Kurogasa said, holding up a sled meant for three people. Weiss and Ruby get on, to which Kurogasa nodded and hopped on as well. "Ready?"

"Yes!"

"L-Let's get it done and over with Oka-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY?!" Weiss said, before screaming in surprise as the trio went down the hill at considerable speeds. They yelled all the way downhill before immediately crashing into the snow below.

"Hahahahahaha! Woo, what a rush!" Kurogasa laughed. "Man, I haven't- eh?" He blinked, when he just now noticed that Weiss and Ruby were on top of him. "Um… girls?" He said weakly.

Ruby was quick to get off him, much to her embarrassment, but Weiss merely clung onto him as if for safety.

"Is it over?" Weiss asked the two.

"Yes Weiss." Kurogasa smiled small, patting her head.

"Let's stay like this for a few more minutes… okay?" She asked, a blush appearing on her cheeks.

"It wasn't that bad." Kurogasa chuckled.

"Cannonball!" Koa shouted as she dove with her sled, only for her to trip and begin rolling down the hill, becoming a big snowball.

"Hm? OH FU-!" Yang got out, before she was run over by the snowball until it hit a tree and fell apart. Koa poked her head out of the snow and shook her head free.

"Let's do that again!" Koa cheered, before an angry Yang walked over to the tree and gave it a punch. This caused some more snow to fall on Koa. "Oof!"

"Hey guys, I'm back!" Aaron said, returning through the power of Decade's silvery veil.

"What kept ya?" Koa asked, poking her head out of the snow again.

"I had to find the perfect Christmas tree." Aaron answered as he gestured over to the Christmas tree he was dragging along the snowy ground.

"Wow, so that's a Christmas tree?" Ruby said in awe.

"Yep, I got the biggest one I could find." Aaron answered with a nod.

"Are you sure that's going to fit in the house?" Blake asked.

"How do you plan on putting it in the house?" Yang asked, raising an eyebrow. "It seems rather tall."

"Ladies, please. I can fit it inside. I've just gotta be gentle first before I shove it all the way in." Aaron answered. The answer left Yang snickering and Blake blushing at the implications.

"Couldn't you have worded that better?" Weiss asked, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"What are you talking about? It's a Christmas tree."

"You made it sound like-" Kurogasa said, but Orpheus elbowed him in the gut. "Ite! What? It's true!"

"You realize he is dragging a giant tree with him, right? A very, heavy-looking, giant tree." The auburn-haired teen said, emphasizing each word.

"Whatever you say, 'Mr. Can't See Innuendo.'"

This got Yang to burst out laughing.

After the tree was brought in, everyone was resting by the fire. Blake was trying to keep both Zwei and baby Melody from getting close to her. But she kept failing as baby Melody always won her over thanks to her puppy-dog eyes and her constant affection.

"Blake, one of these days, you're gonna have to accept her." Aaron snickered. "After all, she-" He was interrupted when Orion elbowed him in the gut.

"I thought you said, no time paradoxes." Orion reminded his leader.

"Ah, hai, hai. T'was only a joke." Aaron said with a grin.

"Yeah, sure it is." Kurogasa deadpanned.

"I'm sure you'll be laughing when it's your ears she's nibbling." Blake said, wincing as Melody was indeed nibbling on her cat ear.

"But it's soooo cute!" Yang gushed as she and Weiss watched the infant playfully biting Blake's kitty ears while Tai had his Scroll out to record it.

"No-OW-recording! Melody, sweetie, play with Mama Yang's hair instead!" Blake begged, trying to pull Melody off her ear.

Ren came into the living room from the kitchen, carrying a tray that had a delectable smell which enticed Ruby, Nora, and Koa. The three girls cartoonishly lifted up from their seats and floated over to the green-clad ninja of JNPR, who was watching the approaching trio impassively.

"Hungry?" Ren asked nonchalantly, revealing his tray to the trio.

On the tray were Christmas cookies, in shapes of Christmas trees, candy canes, ornaments, penguins, snowflakes, snowmen, all decorated with icing. The trio drooled at the sight and smell of delicious cookies.

"Let's eat!" The three girls cheered, before lunging at Ren. Luckily, Jaune, Orion, and Orpheus were quick to reign in the trio of hungry eaters.

"No, save that for later!" Orion grunted holding Ruby. "You're going to spoil your dinner!"

"That's right, Ruby. Treats come after dinner." Tai added.

"Party poopers…" The trio grumbled in unison.

"Jinx! You owe me pancakes!" Nora said, causing the other two to groan.

"Here, how about we start off with a few classic Christmas movies, shall we?" Aaron suggested, holding up a video tape. "Half of us can be entertained while the other half gets dinner ready."

"Luckily I prepared some straws to draw from!" Ruby said, pulling out straws from her hood.

"Where did you- never mind. Let's just draw." Orion sighed, before everyone grabbed one and pulled. And the ones making dinner were: Pyrrha, Ren, Blake, Kurogasa, Weiss, and Orion.

"Well, I'm honestly not surprised." Ren said dryly.

"Noooooooo~!" Ruby, Nora, and Koa cried out in dismay.

"Well, you reap what you sow girls." Aaron said. "Besides, we know you're all gonna eat it before it even gets to the table."

"That's not true!"

"Yes, it is." Everyone else countered.

With the three girls pouting, they eventually relented to watch the movies with Aaron, Orpheus, Jaune, and Yang. Melody meanwhile was playing with the humongous mane that was Yang's golden locks, nibbling a few strands. Aaron started off with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, followed by Frosty the Snowman, A Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Carol, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and even the Polar Express.

As they were watching the movies, the kitchen team was making Christmas Dinner for them. There was going to be roasted chicken with stuffing, Beef Wellington, Christmas Ham, fruitcake, roasted brussel sprouts, roasted potatoes, apple pie, and Christmas pudding.

"Am I doing this right?" Weiss asked as she was working on the Beef Wellington, as she was preparing to wrap it up in a cling wrap.

"Yeah, you wanna make sure it's nice and even when you wrap it in the puff pastry." Kurogasa nodded as he guided her hands to wrap it up tightly. "And there we go. See? You're a natural."

Weiss smiled, unaware that Koa and Nora were holding a mistletoe over the two of them. Kurogasa looked up only to blush heavily at it.

"Uh…" Kurogasa gulped.

"What? What is it?" Weiss asked, before looking up. "What's that over us?"

"It's… a mistletoe…" Kurogasa blushed redder.

"And…?" Weiss trailed on.

"Uh… it's tradition from our world that… lovers kiss under the mistletoe on Christmas…"

"W-Who made that kind of tradition!?" Weiss exclaimed, blushing madly.

"People from the time of knights and nobles…"

"That long?!"

"Yep. And… well, we're not gonna break tradition anytime soon." Kurogasa said.

"Wai- mmmph!" Whatever Weiss was about to say died out as Kurogasa kissed the heiress on the lips. Eventually, she gave into it and after what seemed like forever, they broke the kiss and the white-haired heiress looked away with a heavy blush on her face as the bangs of her eyes covered her eyes. "Baka…"

"You know you liked it." Kurogasa smiled sheepishly.

"You're one to talk!" She countered with a pout.

"I still love you nonetheless." Kurogasa said before kissing her cheek.

"Baka…"

"I'm your baka." Kurogasa said, before looking at Nora and Koa who held the mistletoe over, "Oi… get out of the kitchen." He deadpanned.

"Hehe, ok." Koa said before whispering to Nora, "Did you record it?"

"Saved it too." Nora whispered with a nod.

"Oi, he said to get out." Orion deadpanned, with his arms crossed. The two looked at him, then to each other, before getting devious smirks.

"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin', Nora?" Koa said, chuckling evilly.

"Oh yeah."

"Don't you dare…" Orion said. The girls slowly approached him, making him shudder and backup slowly. "I-I'm warning you… this isn't funny!"

"You're right. It's gonna be hilarious." Nora snickered.

*PI~NCH!*

"Owowowowowowowow!" Nora and Koa cried out when Orpheus pulled them by the ears.

"Alright, you two, enough pranks. They're still getting dinner ready." Orpheus said, before dragging them away, much to their dismay as they threw a bit of a tantrum.

"They never learn…" Ren shook his head as he continued cooking the roasted potatoes.

"At least it's lively." Pyrrha smiled.

"Okay, time to eat!" Taiyang said to the movie marathon watchers. The group moved towards a table to enjoy the Christmas dinner. Each person grabbed a plate and began filling it with whatever tasty morsels they could find. Of course, Ruby, Nora, and Koa had their plates stacked, and we mean stacked with food.

"Ah, a feast fit for we three queens!" Koa said with a smile.

"Here, here!" Nora and Ruby agreed.

"It's still frightening how much they pack in…" Weiss deadpanned.

"You have to wonder how they still remain that size even with all that food." Aaron remarked. This made most of the group glare at him.

"Aaron, one thing you should remember is never comment on a woman's weight if you value your life." Taiyang said to him.

"Bakayaro." Kurogasa muttered.

"Jerk." Orion said.

"Idiot." Orpheus finished.

"Eh, with the lives they live, they burn it all off." Aaron said nonchalantly.

"Well I don't know about you guys but I'm ready to dig in!" Yang grinned.

"BARK! BARK!" Zwei barked in agreement.

"Alrighty, then!" Aaron added, taking a fork and knife. "Let's eat!"

And so dinner went on in earnest as they all loved how delicious it was. Every now and then Zwei would be given a few pieces of scraps that he would catch and eat. And whenever Taiyang would try to feed Melody, she would make a mess, having mash potatoes coating around her lips.

"Hehe, Melody has a mashed potato beard." Ruby giggled.

"This coming from the girl with a milk mustache?" Orion retorted.

"Eh?" Ruby tilted her head… with a milk mustache present on her upper lip.

"Why do you still drink milk? It's not gonna make you taller." Orpheus pointed out.

"You don't know that!" The reaper exclaimed, chugging her milk. "Just you wait a few years, and I'll be calling you 'Shorty'!"

"Oh yeah?" Orpheus got up.

"Yeah!" Ruby also got up, the two butting heads as electricity shot between the two.

"Okay, you two. Let's not fight at the dinner table. Christmas is coming around the corner after all." Aaron said, playing peacemaker. The two looked at each other, then to Aaron, then back at each other.

"Fine!" The two said, before trying to out eat each other.

"And they're starting an eating contest. Of course." Aaron sweatdropped.

After everyone had eaten their fill, they decided to relax in the living room, sitting at the fireplace.

"Man, that was good!" Koa said as she patted her stomach.

"I can't eat another bite…" Jaune groaned. Ruby and Orpheus were both lying on the ground, groaning and holding their stomachs.

"Anyone got antacids?" Kurogasa asked, to which the group shook their heads. "Great…"

"Did someone get the number of the truck that hit me?" Orion mumbled.

"How much did you eat?" Taiyang asked.

"A lot…"

"Not quite the answer I was looking for, but it'll do. Sit tight guys, I'll go to the general store and get some of those antacids." He said, before putting on a coat and a beanie hat. "Look after Melody and Zwei, you guys." He added, before heading out the door.

"Well, while we're waiting, I think it's time to do the classic tradition of telling a Christmas story." Aaron said, pulling out a book and sitting on the single-seater couch. Ruby held Melody as they sat in front of him, the others also taking their seats as he opened the book and began to read. "Ahem… 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse."

As Aaron read through the story, the rest of RWBY and JNPR and Koa listened intently to the story-like poem, though as Aaron went on, one by one, they were falling asleep. Even Melody was starting to yawn and get tired.

"He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight- "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night," He said, before closing the book. When he looked up, he saw all of them had fallen asleep with some of them lightly snoring. "Man, that story always gets them."

He soon found himself getting drowsy, as he let out a yawn with a stretch.

The door to the house slowly opened, and Taiyang came in, with a few bottles of antacids in hand. "Hey I'm- huh…" He noticed, seeing that all of them fell asleep. "I guess they all fell into a food coma."

Night fell on the little house in Patch as snowfall lightly tapped the roof. Everyone inside was peacefully asleep in their bedrooms, separated for the boys and girls by Taiyang's requests. Most of the girls were peacefully asleep, except for one particular infant. Melody did not feel sleepy at all, and wanted to play with someone or something for fun. She crawled over to Ruby, tugging on her hair.

"Mmmm… Melody, go to sleep… Mama's tired…" Ruby moaned softly.

Melody puffed her cheeks before crawling over to Weiss, who was still asleep. She tried poking her a few times to see if she would wake up. But the heiress only squirmed lightly mumbling something incoherent in her sleep. Melody puffed her cheeks again, before going over to Blake and Yang who were already asleep. Nora was snoring loudly, and Pyrrha and Koa were fast asleep too.

There was no one to play with. So deciding on her own, she crawled away from the group of girls and over to the door. She used the wall to support herself and stand up before she opened the door that was already slightly opened and crawled out into the hallway.

The infant wolf Faunus made her way to the living room to see if Zwei was awake or if there were any toys she could get her little pudgy hands on. But instead what she found was not Zwei. But rather a very, very large man. It was just as Aaron had read to her in that story.

'He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot; A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler just opening his pack. His eyes- how they twinkled! his dimples, how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, and the beard on his chin was as white as the snow; He had a broad face and a little round belly, that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly. He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf. And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.'

"Ho, ho, ho, why hello there little one." The old man chuckled. Melody gave the jolly man a big smile, thinking she had someone to play with. "Now, what is an adorable little scamp such as you doing up? You should be asleep."

Melody then started talking incoherently as she tried to talk, but the old man somehow knew what she was trying to say.

"I see. You still wish to play whilst everyone else is asleep." The man mused, stroking his beard, before picking up the girl in his arms. "As much as I would like to play with you, I must be doing my work, bringing happiness to children such as you. You, little one, are more than blessed to have people that love you. You are one of the very luckiest girls I've met. But don't worry, with the presents I have in my bag, I'm sure they will play with you. I promise you that. But you must keep us meeting a secret. Can you do that?"

Melody looked at him in awe, and nodded in understanding. She held up her pinky, which made the old man chuckle in amusement as he wrapped his pinky around hers.

"Hmhm. Good girl. Now then…" He said, before he waved his hand over and motes of dust went over her. The wolf pup Faunus then started feeling drowsy, before eventually falling asleep in his arms. He then gently laid the girl on the couch before setting to work putting presents underneath the Christmas tree.

"Mmmm… need milk…" A voice groaned, causing the man to look over and saw Kurogasa sleepily walking before the latter noticed the tall man. Any sleepiness he had was now out the window. "G-Grandpa?"

"Hello, my grandson." The man smiled, before the dust that blew over the now sleeping Faunus, now blew over him to reveal his true form. He was a tall man with long, white hair and a white beard. He greatly resembles his daughter, Willow and his grandchildren, who all inherited his facial structure, blue eyes and naturally white hair. He wore a heavy, ornate suit of armor reminiscent to that of the Arma Gigas, with a black shirt and pants underneath. And he wore a red fur-trimmed cloak which was held by a gold chord.

This was Nicholas Schnee, former CEO of the Schnee Dust Company.

The young samurai quietly rushed over to give the man a hug, "I never thought I'd see you again."

"Of course, after all, you're the one who contacted me and have me working this… new profession, after hearing your true origins." Nicolas chuckled.

"Y-Yeah," Kurogasa trailed off. "How's it working out for you?"

"Honestly, I quite like it." Nicolas admitted. "It will take time to be used to this, but I'll manage somehow."

"Right." Kurogasa said, before looking down sadly, "Listen… about Mom…"

"I already know…" the man admitted, his eyes filled with sorrow. "It was my mistake to allow your father to take over and now our family name is dragged through the mud. I'm sorry you and your siblings have to go through such hard times."

"No, it's not your fault, Grandpa." Kurogasa shook his head. "If anything, it's his. And… for what it's worth, I have faith that… things will eventually work out in the end." He smiled a bit. Nicholas smiled back, walking over to Kurogasa and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I know you'll do the right thing, Kurogasa." The man said proudly. "I know you'll make us proud." He then reached out to give the young samurai, a small… ring box?

"This is…"

"I managed to finish this in time. Just… promise me that you'll make your sister happy." Nicholas said.

"I will." Kurogasa nodded with confidence. With that, Nicholas hugged Kurogasa and the two waved farewell to each other. The golden dust overtook Nicholas, and just like that, he was gone without a trace.

"Merry Christmas, grandpa." Kurogasa smiled, before picking up the sleeping Melody. "Alright, Mel, let's get you back with Mama Ruby."

The next morning…

"IT'S CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!" Ruby cheered and immediately petal burst towards the Christmas tree. She then had stars in her eyes as she squealed like a hyperactive kid. This causes the two other hyperactive characters to come down stairs and perform a trio of squeals filled with delight which woke up everyone else.

"Of course, first thing in the morning and they dart for the presents." Orion groaned, as he and everyone else walked into the living room. But when they did, their eyes widened in surprise and awe at what they saw.

Their Christmas tree looked even more beautiful than before, with many presents hidden underneath it.

"Oh wow…" Weiss said, completely speechless.

"So… what are we waiting for? Let's all sit down and I'll hand out the presents." Aaron told his friends.

"Yeahhhhhh!" Nora and Koa cheered.

And so the group all sat down around the tree and started opening their gifts, Aaron passing them out one by one.

"No way! I got my own action figure! It's so cool!" Ruby said excited, showing the said figure.

"Oh wow!" Koa said in awe.

Orion sweatdropped, "Totally not weird that Ruby has a toy of herself…" He muttered.

"Yes! The complete comic collection of X-Ray and Vav!" Jaune cheered. "And they're all signed by the authors!"

"I can make my own sushi with this cookbook." Blake said, looking at the book, opening it. "So much… tasty fish…"

Nora suddenly gasped, "A ticket for a lifetime supply of free pancakes?! Can be used repeatedly for any restaurant!?"

"I'm sure a ramen shop doesn't make pancakes." Ren said, as he looked at a nice Japanese tea set that he has for his present.

"Oh this is so cute!" Pyrrha smiled, as she put on a charm bracelet of her team's, RWBY, and JOKR's symbols.

"Uh… here Weiss, it's for you." Kurogasa said shyly, handing her the small ring box. Weiss raised an eyebrow, as she slowly took the box and opened it. Her eyes widened when she saw that there was a gold ring but on top was a white diamond, shaped in her symbol with a small ruby and emerald flanking each side.

"K-Kuro, this is!"

"There's more…" Kurogasa mumbled. "Look inside."

Weiss was confused as she examined the ring and looked on the inside and there was a written inscription in cursive. It was small but she could clearly read it. 'Merry Christmas, my Snow White. My love is yours forevermore.' Weiss's eyes were covered by her bangs as she trembled. Tears streamed down her blushing cheeks, revealing that she truly loved her Christmas present.

"Weiss? What's- mmmph!" Kurogasa muffled out his surprise when Weiss kissed him square on the lips. Koa snickered as she held up a mistletoe over the two as they kept kissing each other.

"Here Yang, this is from me." Aaron said, handing her his present. The blonde boxer was quick to open her present, curious to see what's inside.

What she got was… a pair of keys?

"Huh?" Yang looked confused.

"Look outside." He gestured. Yang ran towards the window to try and see. The blonde then suddenly squealed, causing them to jump.

"What is it?" Pyrrha asked. Yang merely dashed into her room and came out a minute later in snow gear, running out the door.

"What is up with her?" Orpheus asked.

"I gave her Bumblebee an upgrade." Aaron shrugged.

"Wait what?" With that, the group ran out into the snow, where they saw Yang jumping for joy around Bumblebee which indeed got an upgrade. The bike itself was golden-orange and black and the design was more sleek than her previous, so it could give her an extra boost, so much so it could possibly produce a slip stream.

"Do I even want to know how much that cost for you to upgrade that?" Taiyang deadpanned, making Aaron scratch his cheek sheepishly. "On second thought, nevermind I don't want to know."

"Oh Aaron I love it! I love it! I love it! I love you! I love it!" Yang said jumping up and down around her motorcycle.

"I'm glad you do… because I'm pretty much broke now…" Aaron said with a sheepish chuckle.

"What do you mean?" Blake asked.

"Let's just say… I had to buy a lot of stuff to get it upgraded." Aaron said. The next thing that happened was Yang tackling him into the snow and gave him a hot kiss. While the two were smooching, Blake was watching this display with a jealous pout on her face.

"Hey now…" Taiyang said with a twitching eyebrow.

Aaron noticed the look on Tai's face and quickly pushed Yang off of him, "Mr. Xiao-Long! Come on, it's not my fault! She did it to me! I'm a victim! Besides, it's Christmas."

Taiyang looked absolutely miffed, but eventually relented. "Fine, I'll have a talk with you after Christmas."

"That was close…" Orion muttered.

"Don't think you're off the hook either." Taiyang said to him.

"Oh man…" Orion slumped.

"Well, what'd you get, Ruby?" Yang asked her sister.

"Check it out!" Ruby gushed, showing her present. "My very own action figure!"

"Oh, that's so cool! I want one too." Yang gushed with joy.

"Actually," Koa said, as she showed her own presents. "I got 'em all! And they're mine!"

"What!?" The others exclaimed. "Give it here!"

"Yadaaaaaaaaaa~!" Koa cried out as the teams chased Koa throughout the property.

"BARK! BARK!" Zwei barked as he walked up to Taiyang with a big bone in his mouth.

"What is it, boy? Wanna play fetch?" Tai pondered.

"BARK! BARK!" Zwei barked again before going back into the living room, confusing Taiyang. When he did, he saw Melody sitting in the living room with all her Christmas presents that were all toys. But she looked a bit lonely as she had no one to play with.

"Ah, I see…" Tai nodded in understanding before looking back at the teens, who were all squabbling and trying to get their own action figures. "Hey! Stop rough-housing and play with Melody, ya stingy kids!"

Everyone all stopped as they were in awkward poses of their halted scuffle. They looked at Melody then looked at each other, before making themselves decent.

"Yeah, he's right." Aaron agreed. "Let's not ruin Melody's first Christmas."

"So let's get back in there and play with her!" Ruby added with a slight cheer.

"YEAH!" they responded before they all went inside and sat down at the living room, playing with Melody and her toys which made her smile brightly. This went on for almost an hour before the cat Faunus noticed something.

"By the way guys, what did you get for Christmas?" Blake asked JOKR. The four Riders looked at each other then looked back at the others.

"That's… a little difficult to explain." Aaron answered.

"You guys didn't get anything?" Yang asked.

"No nothing like that, just uh…"

The group looked at the four as they were looking anywhere but at them.

"Well, what?"

"The thing is we… made Christmas presents for ourselves. Sort of." Orpheus said as he and the others took out… Aura Spheres? And they were winter themed?

"You decorated your Aura Spheres?" Weiss asked.

"Er… sort of? Not really?" Kurogasa chuckled weakly. "It's best that we show you."

The group walked outside to get more room, before summoning their Aura Drivers. They then took their Christmas themed Aura Spheres and inserted them into the Driver.

AURA SPHERE CONNECTED! REINDEER!

AURA SPHERE CONNECTED! PENGUIN!

AURA SPHERE CONNECTED! POLAR BEAR!

AURA SPHERE CONNECTED! SNOW OWL!

"Henshin!"

DASHING FROM THE NORTH POLE! RED NOSE REINDEER!

KING OF SLIP AND SLIDE! EMPEROR PENGUIN!

ARCTIC NOMAD! BLIZZARD POLAR BEAR!

FLIGHT OF THE WHITE HUNTER! SNOW OWL!

The snow surrounding the group started to blow around like a blizzard as four new Aura animals. Said animals were a reindeer, a penguin, a polar bear, and a snow owl. The four animals swirled around in the blizzard before merging with their respective vessels.

With Aaron, his new armor was a chocolate brown with a reindeer theme featuring cream-colored fur around the wrists, ankles, and the neck with a cream-colored chestplate. His helmet had a brown 'mask' shaped like a deer with a glowing red nose complete with compound yellow eyes and even antlers.

For Kurogasa, his armor was black as it was black on the side of his armor with a white chest plate with a hint of yellow. His 'mask' was shaped like a penguin's having the 'beak' and with black compound eyes. And the arms looked like flippers as well.

Orion's armor was bulky and white in color with lines of cyan blue that was themed after a polar bear while icicles grew out between the cracks of the armor. He had a white and cyan mask of a polar bear with a light blue visor and a silver mouthplate.

And lastly Orpheus's armor was white with bits of black spots and markings while a pair of metallic white wings that resembled owl wings appeared on his back. Claw-like gauntlets were attached on top of his arms and his 'mask' resembled a snow owl while having yellow compound eyes.

"Whoa, that's pretty festive!" Koa exclaimed.

"Just wait til you see what we can do with them." Kurenai smirked, turning to his teammates. "You guys ready?"

"Always!" Shiro said with a chuckle.

"You bet!" Azure added, pounding his fists together.

"Of course!" Nero crossed his arms with a smile under his mask.

"Then let's do it!" Kurenai and the others all opened and closed their Drivers three times, causing their Auras to flare up.

ULTRA BITE! ULTIMATE WINTER FESTIVAL!

The four Riders leap high into the air as their auras begin to produce snowflakes. The four Riders continue to spin around which caused a blizzard creating snow and ice, molding it into something beautiful. The group had to cover their faces as they were buffeted by the snow. The blizzard stopped as they opened their eyes, gasping in shock and awe at what they were seeing.

"Whoa…" Ruby whispered, her eyes shining brightly.

"It's… beautiful." Koa added, wiping a tear from her eye.

In front of them was what could only be described as a winter wonderland that beckoned them. A snowy theme park filled with slides and thrilling rides. The four Riders stood proudly at the entrance and they held out their arms to the group. "Ladies and gents! Welcome to our Winter Wonderland!" The Riders said in unison. The group looked at each other, before cheering and running towards them.

As the teams, Koa, Zwei, and Melody went on to have fun, Taiyang could only look on with a smile on his face.

'If only you can see them now… Summer.' Taiyang thought, reminiscing on happier times. Seeing the group laughing as they played with their friends and family in the theme park that they had created, made him think of the old days when Team STRQ would enjoy the snow as a team.

It truly was a Merry Christmas.
