I missed this,.,.. why'd I stop writing it? Thanks for drawing it to my attention once more...

Love, you all.

"Why is the boy here, Tsunade?" Homura asked, looking at Naruto who did his best not to fidget at the sight of her cold stare.

The boy in question stood tall. "I am her page, So I am here to help her in all ways I can."

Homura, to his shock, smiled. "That is a wise idea, you still wish to be Hokage, right?" Naruto nodded, excitement and pride filling his every cell. "Well, then this is a perfect opportunity for you. The Third and Danzo did this for the Second Hokage during and before the First War. It was why The Third was chosen to be Hokage, in part that is. That and his willingness to sacrifice himself in battle. Now, please, soak up all the information you can and embrace it. This will help you to become a powerful leader among your peers."

Naruto radiated happiness, more than happy to embrace the woman's kind words and encouragement. "I will."

Tsunade smiled at the two of them. "Now that that is addressed, we will start this meeting. I have decided that we will be going forward with the tithe on everyone's income, three perfect to be added to a fund to restore the village from the invasion for the next year. The Genin will have the choice to add their income into the funds, but no one else will. Clan Ninja are no exception either.

The room burst into a powerful, childish bunch of bitching and Naruto was already sick of it. Without meaning too, his chakra spiked. The room calmed, everyone turning to him in a mix of shock and dislike and pride in a rare few cases. "We all have to give for the village, why should anyone that has the means be immune to it? Sacrifice is the definition of a being a ninja, the clan ninja are no exception to that. We all have to give, I do so proudly for my home."

To his own shock, Hinata's father Hiashi ( Tsuande had given him a run down of the various clan heads to make sure he was not ignorant.) clapped. "Very well said. The Hyuuga would be proud to add our wealth to the village. I agree whole heartedly, we all must give for the village. The Hyuugas' have done so throughout our acceptance into the village, why stop now?"

Danzo, a mummy looking man with a cold gaze, nodded. "I agree, we all must do what we can to restore the village to it's former wealth."

Tsume growled. "Of course you'd say that, you had no issue stealing our children for the sake of the village."

The man didn't even smile or react. " I did what was needed for the village to thrive, nothing more."

Naruto frowned, turning to a very tired looking Tsunade. "I'll explain later." She whispered before turning back to the others. "There will be no arguing, this is what is going to happen. We will do this my way, I am the Hokage and my word is law. Now, enough bickering, let us move onto the next subject. The rampant tax evasion of the merchants towards it shinobi. My sensei was rather lax it seems and I have uncovered a lot of ill fitting laws. Let us deal with this before we move onward to more pressing issues."

The meeting would last three hours but somehow Naruto did not fall asleep though he learned so much... mainly this. Being Hokage was far, far, far more than just being the strongest... it was being something he never anticipated. A Politician... and that was scarier than dying, he was pretty sure.

::::

Dodging the strikes of Ino and Sakura, both light but aimed to hurt, Naruto flipped away as Lee had taught him before lashing out to the stronger of the two. Ino in this case, sent her skidding back as she blocked his strike with her forearms. He turned to Sakura only to get socked in the face, sending him flying back even if she lacked Super strength. She was a strong girl, always had been.

Huffing, the girls having less stamina, turned to each other and nodded before charging him as one. He could barely dodge the strikes, kicks and punches but within less than a minute he was on the ground covered in lumps. "Ow, that's so not fair."

Sakura huffed. "It was your idea to do a two on one battle, you said you needed to get better at fighting groups not just one person. We are all about even in terms of Taijutsu, so really it was a perfect match for you."

"Yeah, I know, still hurts. I am just grateful I heal fast."

Ino whined. " I wish I did, my forearms still ache... so... what's next? Lady Tsunade gave us the day off so we can all work together since she is too busy to train us."

"Naruto, I have an idea if you don't mind." They all jumped, even Naruto and Ino the sensors. Neji landed between them, smirking. "Why not pick up a weapon? I thought about it for a while. When Naruto was telling me about the Hokages, I realized they all had a weapon of choice and it made them a serious threat. Bo staff, Kunai, Sword... they all had something. Only Tsunade doesn't... It might give you all an edge. Lee using bo staffs and my sensei uses nunchucks. Tenten can use just about everything. Tenten wouldn't mind spending an hour or two helping you lot work on finding a weapon that suits you, especially Ino and Naruto since you two lack a definitive style unlike Sakura who is learning the super strength of Lady Tsunade."

Naruto beamed a smile at Neji. "That's a great idea, but first how the hell did you sneak up on two powerful sensors?"

"Experience, and a chakra control trick. I'll teach you it later. Now, shall I escort you to Tenten?"

The three younger Ninja all nodded, eager to get started. Though Naruto was worried. "I am studying A few jutsu and working on the Rasengan, do you think I have time for so many things?"

"I have a feeling you'll be like the Hokage of the past, a jack off all trades and master of a few. Just seems to fit the person you've become... so let's go."

It only took a few minutes to find Team Nine, and even less time to explain to Tenten what they needed. The girl in question opened up several scrolls. " Let's get started on what you need... I have some ideas, based on how you all fight... Ino, I hear you got an apprenticeship with Anko Mitarashi, is that true?"

The girl nodded. "Yup. Daddy recommended it, she is a powerful Kunoichi and skilled in many fields. My skill and knowledge with herbs and flowers is helping me learn poisons from her."

"I thought so... so why not do an edged weapon, maybe... this!" She pulled a think short black blade. "It is great for defense and offense and is perfect for delivering posions. You're not a powerhouse of strength, so you only have to bolster your strength so much to use this long term. I think you'll excel here...

For Naruto, I am leaning towards blunt force, maybe twin batons that combine into a single bo staff? You seem the type to break people down, rather than slice them up. They're great for defense and I think they'll give you a serious increase in power and range. You're pretty short, so really this will be a huge help for you. You'll need the range.

As for you Sakura, why not go with something... efficient. Maybe something to help with your lower chakra pool, something you can make as a last resort or simply to preserve power in cases where you are better off not overloading your enemy with raw power... hmmm but what? Maybe something you can poison too, there is no way you arent learning Poisons from Tsunade or Shizune... so maybe a chain sickle? Ohhhh this is going to be fun!"

They would spend about twenty minutes after that learning to clean, maintain and preserve their weapons, how to seal then away properly, and the utter basics in how to use them. Naruto especially loved his new weapons, which were actually outright gifted to him by Tenten who said it was for getting the stick from a red faced Neji's ass. Might Gai laughed hard when he heard that...

After that Naruto and the girls separated, Ino to work with Anko and Sakura to practice a bit with her new weapon. Naruto would end up spending two hours reviewing and revising each step of the rasengan, not with any clones but just, in general, to see what he could do. He found he still struggled with the last step, now that he lacked his old raw power, but knew that he would get it eventually and so he worked on it constantly to become as good as he could be.

He'd then spend another hour bouncing between an obstacle course he made using the replacement and shushin in an attempt to, one day, master them like the Fourth Hokage. The man was his idol and he already had the man's rasengan, so why not this? It was easy to learn too, so why not learn it?

In either case, Naruto was pleased with his progress and knew that the next few months would be... interesting regardless.

He was getting closer to one dream and to another. With all he was learning, not even Sasuke would stand a chance ... the smug prick.

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was a lot of fun, why'd I stop writing this?

Love, your Ninja Overlord,
