The three of us decided to walk to school though it was honestly pretty awkward. I mean until this morning, we had never interacted with Yuki before now yet here the three of us are, let alone we know he lives not far from where our tent is. Tohru was happy to walk with him since I know she would hope he could be our friend, but I guess I'm not sure if I would let myself be friends with him. Since, would he even like being friends with us? As we arrived at the school, I could feel something of a glare burning into my back. It was probably the so-called Prince Yuki Fanclub. Honestly, it sounds more like a cult than a club. Tohru and I gave Yuki a wave goodbye as not a moment did the so-called fangirls let their presence be known. "Explain yourselves! Why did we see the two of you walking to school with prince Yuki? We want to hear the full explanation!" I could see from the corner of my eye a few students staring and chatting about what was going on. I mean sure Yuki was a first-year like us and somehow he was already deemed being called a prince, probably due to his appearance and also being the most popular boy in our entire school. I looked back over to the chaos that was going on, and I could see that Tohru looked like was she might cry if this kept up. And that was something I refuse to let happen. "Hey! It was just a coincidence we walked to school with your precious prince Yuki, so how bout you stop being jealous and back off!" Yeah, I should have known that my response would have backfired.

Though luckily, their petty jealousy wrath was being taken out on me instead. Since I couldn't wrap my head around how they were acting, since it wasn't like any of them were dating him. So why, why be jealous over him walking to school with another girl? I soon could see two of mine and Tohru's friends spot us since I bet they were probably trying to find us and decided to step in, finally putting an end to this madness. I was honestly thankful that we had friends that cared so much about us, even if I wasn't one to be vocal about it. Eventually, the fangirls booked it after a threat by Hanajima and finally ended whatever madness that was happening. Uo soon pulled Tohru and me into a hug rubbing our heads like our mother would have done when we were children. I pulled from the hug brushing my uniform off some as I wasn't someone who enjoyed hugging. The bell soon chimed in the halls announcing that the first period was about to begin, and I was already dreading entering the home ec room. See, unlike my sister who was talented in cooking, I was well, I could burn water if you left me unattended. The board was saying we were to make a soup with a side dish of rice, as I slumped into my chair watching Hanajima and Tohru begin cooking. After a bit, I started to help in at least chopping the vegetables as Uo looked over to me asking, how in the world we ended up at school with the so-called prince.

So I recalled how while heading to school, we came across one another, and after some talking just decided to continue to walk to school together. That wasn't the full truth since how are we supposed to tell the two of them we live in a fricken tent! I almost dropped my knife as I heard Tohru mention that he was handsome, as Uo caught my shock as she couldn't help but let out a faint laugh. "Seems Hikairi over here has a different look on the prince." Tohru looked seeing my expression as I could hear her let out a nervous laugh, while I ignored the conversation. He's just an average guy, and I don't see how he is so handsome."Oh, is our darling Hikairi enchanted by the prince like her sister?" Uo laughed at my expression. "Not even, I don't see his prince-like charm." I slammed my chopsticks on the table, causing Tohru to let out another nervous laugh at the tension that was probably building. While Tohru and Hanajima served our meals, she mentioned feeling strange waves from Yuki while Uo recalled hearing something bout someone confessing to Yuki once. Only for them to get pushed away when they tried to hug him. "I don't see how it's that isn't surprising," I muttered eating my rice. "Since I wouldn't like some stranger lunging at me either, especially with how crazy those fangirls can be."

Everyone agreed mostly on how that would be weird as Uo decided to change the subject to something I wished she didn't. And that being how Tohru and I have to work so much how afford going to school. Tohru managed to steer the conversation saying she wanted to work anyways after she graduated while I just piggybacked off of her. Though in reality, I still don't have any idea on what I want for the future. Luckily it seemed our friends bought it or didn't want to press anymore on it. Letting out soon a sigh of relief.

The bell signaling the end of the day had finally arrived as I put my stuff into my bag, running over to where my sister was. As we walked down the halls talking about what we should eat for dinner, we stopped at the shoe locker as there was Yuki once again. We either are lucky or cursed. I gave a soft smile when he noticed as well as I figured to be polite. "We're sorry about this morning." Yuki was confused for a moment before shaking his head. "It's quite alright. I should be the one that apologizes to both of you. I hope my cousin wasn't too rude." Once again, the three of us walked together as I replied that he wasn't weird; if anything strange would be the correct of putting it. He mentioned how if he heard right earlier that Tohru had said something about wishing she was born as the year of the cat. She nodded saying that she was sad that the cat was left out. As soon as she spoke those words, I could feel his whole demeanor change. "The cat is a fool. Did you two know that the animals originally had nothing to do with the zodiac? It was used for calenders and clocks." That was pretty information that we had learned since I never knew that, but what I did know for some reason or another, he hated cats. My eyes glanced down to the clock as it showed me and Tohru were a few moments before being late for work, as I let out a screech that broke everyone from the conversation. "I'm sorry, but Tohru and I are almost late for our job. So please excuse us!"

We were starting to hurry Yuki soon called out to Tohru, causing me to also look back. He mentioned seeing that she didn't look so good this morning. And she shouldn't overwork herself today. She promised she would be careful before I took hold of her hand as we ran as fast as we could until we reached our work.
