This one is kinda supposed to be my reinterpretation of what Ninja Storm was originally going to be, I've read a few of these fanfics/reimaginings once or twice and they weren't half bad, incomplete, but not half bad.

Hexagon

1994, some small town an hour north of Stone Canyon, who's name has long since been forgotten; California, a few hours after the earthquake.

It was sunny on this day despite the event that unfolded, the ear-splitting sound of sirens was all the air seemed made out of in this seemingly desolate wasteland.

If not for the cracks in the pavement, the first responders could swear that a twister hit this town, every building was rattled to splinters, no one was walking the streets

"Paramedics wait for a backup request in the outskirts." The fire chief said, every first responder got to work. "The rest of us search for survivors, get the paramedics to anyone you find if they're alive."

One firefighter, the youngest, blond and handsome, which from a lamen's POV (neither being a firefighter nor ever needing one's rescue) seemed good for comforting those in distress… he had no idea where to start.

But following his ears was possibly one way to figure it out, and there it was in the back of his senses… a feeble wimpier and a gasp that sounded desperate for air. Hmm, maybe here. He thought, beginning his dig through some ruble and sure enough… two unconscious kids tangled within the wreckage of what might have been a one story house, one male and one female, both roughly the same age, both possibly platinum blonde, the female clad in crimson and the male clad in navy blue.

The young fireman scrambled to find his walkie-talkie and when he did, he called for backup.

A few minutes after plucking the two kids from their "graves", the fireman saw a small group of paramedics seemingly lead by their youngest blond female rushing towards him, equipment in each hand.

"What are we looking at?" The paramedic asked.

"Two kids, one male and one female, both unconscious." The firefighter said, working on the girl.

"Agonal breathing, no pulse, start CPR on this kid while I set up the defibrillator." The paramedic ordered, the other paramedics couldn't obey fast enough. "It's charged up, don't touch him." She said pushing the button, everyone obeyed, watching as the little boy's back arched for a split second, three more doses of electricity and he was back, but still unconscious. "Sinus rhythm."

Everyone else's search was fruitless, the earthquake destroyed everything… even the lives of the town's residents… as the small group of paramedics loaded the two children into ambulances, the police and the other firefighters continued their toil, some were in shock, some were numb and others were in tears.

Hexagon

Meanwhile, nine years later…

The walls were dark and windowless and with only a few working lights hanging from the ceiling, Three new cadets stood before a man, he had a blond buzzcut, blue eyes and clad in the stereotypical garp of a military lieutenant.

The Lieutenant let out a frustrated sigh. "The commander is recruiting superheroes." He scolded, sounding displeased. "Not super models."

The first cadet was a tall male, a fair skinned lanky build that had an athletic hint to it, a brunette buzzcut that was starting to grow out and matching eyes, clad in a red sleeveless half-way-buttoned button down shirt, faded jeans and red sneakers.

The cadet to the first one's right was also a tall male, a fairish skinned athletic build that seemed to border on a stalky level, ash-blond helmet hair, blue/hazel eyes, clad in a yellow V-neck shirt, cargo shorts and yellow slip-on shoes.

The cadet to the first one's left was an average height female, a paleish skinned bony build covered in freckles, Carmel-blond wavy hair weaved into a French braid, brown eyes, clad in a baby blue eyelet crop-top, low-rise faded denim capri pants and floral sandals.

"The irony." Another, albeit unseen man chuckled, the sound of footsteps echoed throughout the mostly empty space until two other men emerged from the shadows.

One of them had fairish skin, black spiky hair, brown eyes, clad a red casual T-shirt, green camo track pants and White ninja shoes.

The other one had dark skin and darker features, mint-green polo shirt beneath a forest green sweater vest with a name sticker stuck to it with the name Cameron on it, khakis and casual footwear.

"Commander Oliver, these cannot possibly be the new recruits." The Lieutenant nervously chuckled. "I mean, you're not asking for supermodels."

"Lieutenant, you're too much." Tommy scolded in retaliation on behalf of the new cadets. "And dismissed." The lieutenant saluted and walked away grumbling, with the frustrated sigh, he turned to the new cadets. "So you three are the new recruits, huh?"

"Yes sir." They all shouted in unison.

"Nice." The black boy in green said.

"Okay, this may not be the military, but it could stand to reason considering I've recruited a lieutenant as a consultant so roll call." Tommy said and with a clear of his throat, turned to the clipboard in his hand that he forgot about up till this point. "Emmanuel Alden?"

"Mannie for short." Mannie winced. "Unless you've got a less embarrassing nickname for me, guess I'll have to endure it."

"Violet Alden?" Tommy read, One eyebrow raising.

"Correct." Violet squeaked with embarrassment.

"Mannie, Is she your sister?" Tommy asked, hoping that the answer was yes, that nod Mannie gave him indicated that it was. "Oh, second time that'll actually happen, two siblings one team, it's absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about."

And finally... "Sterling Cooper?" Tommy read the full name.

"Yes sir, that's my name." Sterling enthusiastically said, A dash of a non-American accent.

"I think you've got your work cut out for you... Dad." Cameron said, The new recruits stared at him wide-eyed. "Not necessarily a bad thing though." He turned his attention to a tiny box with a button on it in his hand and pressed it.

"Ooh, this is where the fun begins." An unseen female voice enthusiastically said, A fair skinned redheaded woman with a gray paramilitary uniform tightly hugging her curvy frame emerged from the shadows holding a box that matched her outfit. "These are your power ranger hexagon morphers."

The three new recruits were wide-eyed and frozen with shock at what she just said.

As evidenced by the descriptions of the characters, I would be incorporating alternative casting (who was originally cast as who), so I would need some more details about that, I know from a Powermorphicon panel that Hunter's actor was originally cast as Dustin, (I've seen him say that on YouTube so don't judge me) sometimes people and even Kira's actress says she was originally cast as Tori, Conner/Eric's actor turned down the role of Shane, I found that out on a podcast.

To be honest with you, I feel like this could be decent potential for a line of non-comic books, think about it, Power Rangers getting the YA treatment... that probably sounds horrifying to you, but believe me, if done right, I think it could work.

I am doing two optional types of POV's for hexagon, all knowing third person and three first person POV's.
