Forever By Your Side ch. 15

It's for the semi-final and I'm looking forward to seeing who I'll have to defeat to move on to the finals because there's a one in three chance that I will be fighting Sasuke for I want to happen but also don't want it to happen. The reason I want to fight him in the semi-final is because I want to get it over with and I want to wipe the floor with him for always putting me down for talking crap about my skills so he'll know that he shouldn't doubt me. The reason I don't want to fight him in the semi-finals is because I want to see if he can back up his claim on being superior to everyone else and it would be make or break for him so Kai walks up to announce the first match of the tournament.

"The first match is Marshall of Arendelle versus Sasuke of Weselton. Fighters please step onto the mat" Kai said loud enough for everyone to hear.

Looks like it's gonna be me and Hans in the second match as we stand off to the side to watch the match between the two and I have to say that it's going to be interesting match to watch.

"Who are you rooting for?" Hans asked curious.

"I'm not exactly sure" I said frowning slightly.

"Oh? I thought you were confident about Marshall and yourself making it to finals. What changed your mind?" Hans asked raising an eyebrow.

"Your friend's fucked up attitude. I want a chance to kick his ass in the tournament and looks like the only way that's gonna happen is when I win my next match" I said folding my arms.

"You're confident that you're going to win. You think that I'm going to go easy on you just because you're a woman" Hans said smirking teasingly.

"No, I don't think you're going to go easy because I'm a woman. I know that I'm going to win because of my skills" I said confidently.

"Use that fire in your belly, Anna because it's going to make it all the more sweeter when I wipe the floor with you" Hans said huffing out his chest.

"We shall see who'll be wiping the floor with who" I replied.

"With whom, my dear girl. With whom" Hans corrects.

"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes.

I turned my attention back to the match only to find Marshall running out of stream while receiving an onslaught of fast and precised blows from Sasuke who looks as cool as a cucumber. The Captain of the Guard is barely keeping his defenses as the prince of Weselton attacks him before sweeping his legs from up under him, causing Marshall to fall on his back rather hard as his opponent points the tip of his sword at his exposed neck. It has become obvious that the Captain of the Guard has lost his match as the young prince stares smugly over him, making my boil with anger because there was a lack of showmanship as he sheathes his sword then walks away like it wasn't even worth his time. The nerve of this guy and I can't wait to wipe the floor with him. Marshall gets off of the ground then dusts himself off as it was apparent that he was upset over his lost but he keeps his head held high as he walks off of the mat with dignity as he could muster at the moment. He sighs quietly as he looks over at me with a small smile on his face but it looked more like grimace if anything causing me to return the smile as I refuse to say anything because I didn't want to rub it in as Hans and myself walked onto the mat.

We didn't need an introduce since we're the only two fighters left so we turned to face each other before pulling out our swords. We looked at each other for a moment as the silence falls over the arena with everyone watching our every move to see who would strike first as the wind blows between the space between us, we lunged. Steel against Steel, will against will as the two of us tries to get the upper hand over the other but neither one of us was planning to give in, not now. I have to win, no I need to win… for me… for Elsa. I don't want her to be trapped in a loveless marriage with some guy that she barely know. It's not right. It's not fair and I won't stand by and let it happen. I drew from a source deep within me before pushing hard against the prince of Southern Isles, stunning him for a moment but it was enough for me to jump into as he squints up at me as bring my sword down in a downwards slash. Hans cries out as his head hits the ground hard with the tip of my sword pointed at his chest as the crowd is quiet for a moment before letting out a roar of cheering as my opponent sighs in defeat.

I sheath my sword before holding out my hand for him to take which he does as I pull him onto his feet as Hans dusts himself before giving me a small smile then taking my hand and lifting it into the air as the crowd goes even more wild.

"You're one hell of a fighter, I give you that" Hans whispers. "But don't think that this is the end of it. You owe me a rematch someday"

"You're on and you fought well today, Hans" I said smiling.

"Thank you and good luck in the tournament" Hans said holding out his hand.

"Thanks" I said shaking his hand.

With the semi-finals over and the finals tomorrow, I was shaking with anticipation because tomorrow I will be fighting Sasuke and I'll show him what I am truly made of as a true warrior. Tomorrow I will win… for Elsa. I protect her. I have to protect her at all costs. I will not fail again.

The young prince of Weselton was pacing back and forth in his room with his arms folded over his chest as he couldn't believe that…. That girl had beaten his lover in such a fashion that it was unfathomable. It was down right atrocious and despicable that she had the nerve to lay her filthy hands on someone as great and bound for great things like Hans. Said Hans was leaning in his chair with his shirt open for his chest on full display for anyone to see if they decided to walk in as he watches pace worriedly as it was unexpected that he had lost but the plan was still on course as it was only for one of them to win this thing. There's no use in worrying about it now as he reaches out to grab Sasuke's wrist to stop the incessant pacing before the appendage, causing him to sit on his floor as the prince wraps his arms around his lover's waist

"I need you to calm down, Sasuke" Hans said kissing Sasuke behind the ear. "Everything is still going according to plan"

"That's not what I'm worrying about Hans. I hate that… that woman had the gull to lay her filthy womanly hands on you. You were the one that was supposed to be moving onto the final. Not her" Sasuke said frowning.

"I know babe, I know but I wasn't exactly her win but you're in the finals and that means that we still have a chance to pull this off and you have a chance to fight Anna. You can avenge there without it looking suspicious" Hans said smirking.

"True but I'm still not happy about this arrangement. If I win, that means that I'll have to marry a woman and that's the last thing that I want to do" Sasuke said like the sentence left a horrible taste in his mouth.

"I know but you won't stay married to her for long as we kill her and her brat for good. Then we'll get married and live for years to come. How does that sound?" Hans asked smirking.

"That sounds wonderful" Sasuke said resting his head on Hans' shoulder.

Unbeknownst to the two, someone was listening to their conversation and running off to tell the Queen of the conspiracy.
