(it's finals time, so you lucky folks get another "Question time with Kai" I hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions you would like to submit, comment below and they may find their way into the next question session! And don't worry the next chapter is well in the works! Thanks y'all for your support! TW: One question briefly mentions anxiety)

*runs up to Kai* Don't move! My readers want to know more. Can we just have a few minutes?

Kai: *turns around with her favorite holo show and a bag of chips* Lay them on me! I'm literally not doing anything.

Is cereal soup?

Kai: *loading signal* Ummm yeah, I think so. I mean, I don't know what constitutes soup, like officially. But in my book, it'd be soup. It's a liquid with stuff in it. Man, why do you have to start with such a weird question?

What's invisible that you wish people could see?

Kai: Easy, my amount of patience towards people. Maybe they'd leave me alone when they see the *waves hands around* pointer thing, head into the red line. It'd happen with some people faster than others, I guess.

What are the unwritten rules of where you work?

Kai: Don't steal a hunter's bounty. You'll have a problem if you do. Also, don't touch a clone captain or commanders cup of caff.

Does pineapple belong on pizza?

Kai: *scoffs* absolutely. You're talking about the flat dough thing you showed me earlier right? Yeah, it definitely does. Anyone else who says differently, is wrong.

What's the best type of cheese?

Kai: All. Next question.

Which body part do you wish you could detach and why?

Kai: I guess it'd have to be my hand. I could slap someone all the way across a room. Fives deserves it. He's not as fast as me. He thinks he is, but he wouldn't be.

What would the world be like, filled with copies of you?

Kai: Terrifying. I'm pretty sure the galaxy only needs one of me. No more, please. I don't want to have to deal with myself, but like, times two. I can barely handle myself.

If your five-year-old self suddenly found themselves in your current body, what would your five-year-old self do?

Kai: *looks down at chip bag* Take a nap and eat a bunch of these chips before and after. Probably bother my mother for a pet, like I used to.

Who's the messiest person you know?

Kai: Hardcase. He only cleans on inspection days because he doesn't want to have to clean the mess hall for the next two rotations. He leaves his stuff around, all the time. Watch your feet near his bunk.

What's the dumbest way you've been injured?

Kai: I opened a crate lid once, don't ask me how, I hit myself right on the bridge of my nose. It hurt so bad, my eyes watered. Thankfully no one was around, so I could be embarrassed in peace.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

Kai: *level stare* cats, I suppose. Are you kidding? Certain cats have so much attitude. Also, most birds, let's be honest.

Why is an alarm clock going "off" when it actually turns on?

Kai: See, I feel like your initial questions were really good, I think we're starting to digress. Are you trying to hurt my head? *Thinks* I should ask Echo this question, actually.

Fine, fine. What's your favorite smell?

Kai: Oh, that's easy. Any spices, or honestly the smell of food cooking. I love cooking, but haven't been able to do it much, unless I'm safely grounded on my ship somewhere. My mother and I used to cook a lot so it's a nostalgic thing for me.

(Next question briefly mentions anxiety)

Do you sleep with the lights on or off?

Kai: Lights off, no argument. It's so hard for me to sleep if there's light in the room. The dark kind of just feels, soothing. It allows me to relax before I fall asleep. It's like the light tells my brain to stay alert, and then ya know…anxiety loves to do its best work late at night.

Alright, we'll let you get back to your show, just one last question. Any words for the dear readers of this story?

Kai: *smiles* thanks for being willing to read my story. It's not often I break the wall like this to talk to y'all, but this is a story I'd like to tell and it means the world that you take the time to read it. And thanks for supporting the writer here! Y'all are awesome! See you in the next chapter!
