At some point in the night Ferio had been able to fall asleep, but not all that much. He was happy that he ended up taking a nap yesterday. He wondered how Fuu was doing? He hoped she was able to sleep. He kicked himself for what he said to her last night, it had just slipped out because of the nightmare he had and his insecurities. Ferio still didn't know if Fuu was with anyone, It didn't seem like it, but he didn't want to assume. He pulled the covers off himself and sat up. He looked over to the bag on the end table and grabbed it. He got up off the bed and poured the clothes out of the bag onto the bed. He looked them over.
'So these are clothes they wear here. Hmm, I guess they're okay.' He got out of his prince outfit and put on the clothes without too much trouble. Once he was done he walked out of the room and went over to Fuu's bedroom door then knocked.
"Hey, Fuu you awake?" There was no answer so he tried once more. Again there was no answer, so he headed for the living room and she wasn't there. When he went into the kitchen he noticed a plate of food and a note. Ferio picked up the note and looked it over. He put up an eyebrow.
"What the hell does this say?" Ferio said out loud. He laid down the paper and sat down at the table as he pulled the plate close to him.
'I guess I'm here alone. Fuu must of went to work. I wish I could have seen her before she left.' Ferio sadly ate the food Fuu had left for him.
Fuu had left very early that morning, so early that she was the first one in the office. She was sitting at her desk getting things ready for the day. She looked up from her computer waiting to see if the manager had come to her door, but he still hadn't arrived. She stopped what she was doing and put her chin in the palm of her hand. Fuu thought to herself about this morning. How she had gotten ready for work and before leaving she went to Ferio's door about to knock, but stopped and pulled her hand away. She wanted to tell him goodbye and that she was leaving, but for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to talk to him. Was it because of what he said? Or some other reason. Before she could think of it any further the sound of someone clearing their throat came from the doorway.
"Miss Hououji, please meet me in my office in 10 minutes." Fuu stood from her desk.
"Yes Sir." She bowed to him as he was leaving.
'No time to think of Ferio right now need to take care of this matter.' Fuu sighed.
Fuu got a little more work done then headed over to her boss's office and knocked on his door.
"Please come in Ms. Hououji." She opened the door and once she was inside she shut the door behind herself.
"Have a seat Ms. Hououji." Fuu bowed then sat down. Fuu remained her calm self on the outside but inside she was a bit nervous.
"I would like to ask you why you suddenly took off yesterday?" Her boss sounded pretty serious.
"I'm sorry sir but an urgent matter came up and I had to leave early. I will make sure it doesn't happen again."
"May I ask why it was so urgent?"
"A friend of mine from out of the country came to Tokyo unexpectedly and they couldn't find their way around. They ended up getting lost so I went to find them and take them back to my apartment." Fuu didn't feel bad about that explanation because it was pretty much the truth. Fuu's boss sighed.
"Your one of my best employees and you have never taken any time off since you started working here so I'm going to let this time slide, but please make sure to not let it happen again."
"Yes sir, thank you, sir."
"That was all you may go." Her boss said while looking at his computer. Fuu stood up from the chair and bowed to her boss then left his office. Once Fuu had got to her desk she let out a sigh of relief.
'That went well. At least that's one less thing to worry about.' Fuu thought as she went back to her computer and began working again.
Meanwhile back at Fuu's apartment Ferio was laying on the couch trying to figure out what he could do. Several hours went by and now Ferio was on the couch upside down with his legs up in the air.
'Hmm, what do I do now? I took two naps, watched that picture box, and had a snack. Man, I wish Fuu would come home so I can talk to her.' Ferio frowned. Then suddenly the phone rang causing Ferio to jump and fall off the couch. When Ferio stood up he got a sharp pain in his head and grabbed it.
"Ahh that hurts shouldn't have stood up so quick." Ferio then looked over to the phone that was still ringing. He went over to it and slowly picked it up and put it to his face. Luckily for him, he was holding it the right way.
"Uh hello," He said unsure what else to say.
"Ferio?" The voice asked.
"Yes, this is Ferio, who's this?" The voice giggled.
"It's Hikaru silly."
"Oh, Hikaru. Haha, now I hear it's you. Now I do feel silly." They both laughed.
"Anyways I was wondering if you want to hang out with Lantis and me? I'm sure it's pretty boring without Fuu around."
"Yes pretty boring. I would really like to hang with you two."
"Hehe alright. We'll head over soon to come to get you and I'll let Fuu know your with us just in case you don't make it back before she gets off work."
"Okay see you guys soon then."
"Yup bye-bye Ferio." Hikaru hung up the phone and so did Ferio. He looked at it and thought it was a very cool talking thing. It made Ferio think of the pink ord's that his sister gave to him.
'I guess it's kind of the same thing. They do both send voices. I wonder if Fuu still has the other one?' Ferio then remembered that he had brought it with him and so he went to the room he was staying in and retrieved it. He held it in his hand and walked back out to the living room sitting on the couch once more while he waited for Hikaru and Lantis to show up.
