Trinity Sayu

"Again." Sayu pulled up the Tenryubito from the deck of her ship and stepped back letting him prepare himself again.

"I am quite tired and wish to cease this commoner activity now..." Adit huffed and tried to catch his breath, his cute rounded ears twitching in annoyance.

Sayu shook her head and sighed, seeing her cold white misty breath in the air. "It's not a commoner activity, it's training."

Sayu and Adit were on the deck of the sub training Adit in self defense. Sayu wore a heavy black winter coat that she stole from Law as it was snowing, but the heavy coat did nothing to deter her from kicking this spoiled man's ass. The Land of Shirohana was in sight and it only spurred Sayu into rushing her training for Adit.

"Again, Adit." Sayu commanded in a no nonsense tone. She was really enjoying this. Usually Master Sumiah would be whooping her ass up and down the dojo and then some more. But now she has her own student to whoop up and down this deck and it made her feel good and slightly sadistic.

Adit let out a heavy sigh and raised his arms in a weak fashion then charged at Sayu with an over dramatic scream. "Ayayayayaya!"

"Hahaha!" Sayu busted out laughing as she tripped him up by sticking out her leg. "What the hell was that yell?! I am dying right now!" Sayu was bent over clutching her stomach trying to stop her laughing with tears coming out her eyes. "You sounded like a dying hyena!"

"Cease your laughter commoner! I was trying my hardest!" Adit blushed from embarrassment while picking himself up.

Sayu chuckled and wiped the tears from her eyes. "Okay, okay. Just don't yell like that again and I won't laugh at you. Now, first of all, your stance is all wrong." Sayu moved behind Adit and put her foot in between his feet. "Spread your legs like this." She pushed his foot off to the side and straightened it. "I noticed that you favor your right side as well. So you'll have to guard your left side from attackers that will notice that as well. Make sure your hands are always in about a seventy five degree angle from your body. And please for the love of Jashin, make a fist and stop slapping like a pansy." Adit clenched fist and adjusted his stance like she said. "Good. You want to guard your important parts more than anything. Such as vital spots, otherwise..." Sayu made a cutting sign with her hand towards her neck.

"That's morbid!" Adit shouted at her.

Sayu hummed and nodded. "Morbid but facts." A cold breeze flew by making Sayu sneeze. "Achoo!" She rubbed her nose and sniffled. "It's getting really freezing out here...I need to put on a second shirt." Just as she said that, a shirt was tossed and landed on her face. Sayu pulled it out and looked at who threw it. "Law!"

Law looked over his first mate and smirked at her. "Is that my coat? I was looking for that." Law had on an exact copy of the same coat.

"Why? You have like four pairs of this coat. Personally it's my favorite as you wore it when you were on Pu-" Sayu cut herself off and looked away. "No spoils."

Law sighed and shook his head. He then turned his gaze onto their current VIP guest. "And how is training going, Mr. Adit?"

Adit raised his head proudly. "I am getting better at this. The pretty red haired commoner lady is a good teacher." Sayu kicked his face in and Adit fell to the ground clutching his face with a blush. "Not even my mother nor father has hit me like she does. It feels so wonderful!"

Sayu dusted her hands off and shook her head. "This guy is definitely an M all the way, Law. He sucks, like really bad." Putting her foot on his stomach again, she glared at him. "My name is Sayu, get it right stupid head." Sayu unbuttoned her coat and then put the second shirt over her first one. "Shirohana is right there. We should grab the others and go over the usual, huh Law?"

"Already did that, Sayu." Law said, walking down the deck and towards his first mate.

"I love it already. Do you think I could find some female bears here?" Bepo walked out of the sub and onto the deck with Shachi and Penguin behind him.

Penguin patted Bepo's back and chuckled. "Maybe and hopefully they'll talk like you do."

"We'll even help you get her, Bepo." Shachi nodded his head.

"Female bears? You wish to consummate with another bear?" Adit said with no shame. Sayu stepped on his face as she buttoned her coat back up. Adit muffled something under boot but no one paid him attention.

"Are the other's coming?" Sayu questioned them.

"We're here little soldier." Haken, Ryu and the twins came out in winter gear as well. Haken handed Sayu her backpack and she took it with a smile.

"Thank you, Haken."

"Was this fucking idiot being perverted again, shrimp?" Ryu glared at the man underneath Sayu's shoe.

Sayu giggled and nodded. "He was but I can handle it."

"Alright, gather around idiots." Law ordered his crew and everyone listened to him. "As we know, Shirohana isn't a very nice place. It's full of outlaws and possibly murderers."

"M-Murderers? Scary..." Penguin shuddered under his coat.

Law waved off the worries of his crew. "I have confidence in you guys. You'll be fine...now according to the latest call from a certain someone's father..." Law trailed his eyes over to Sayu who chuckled nervously. "It takes about five days for the log post to reset once we dock at Shirohana. In those five days, we'll be exploring. Sayu and I will be in the mountain region on the other side, keep your den den mushi's on you."

"Ah, what will I be doing, commoner?" Adit raised his head with excitement and Law's eye twitched in annoyance.

Sayu coughed and handed Adit a piece of paper. "It'll be more safer for you to stay at the hotel in Kurayuki. It's the town with the only port in Shirohana. This has all the forms and stances you need to practice." Sayu also pulled out a flare gun and handed it to Adit. "This is only for an emergency. Please don't use it otherwise. All you need to do is raise it the sky and pull the trigger. I've taught you some basic self defense but not enough. So please rat, don't do anything stupid and stay at the hotel. We'll take you there and then be back in four days top."

"You're...leaving me?" Adit's whisker's fell in a sad motion.

Sayu patted his shoulder and smiled at him. "We can't bring you along, it's too dangerous. We'll be back in four days, I promise. And plus, Ryu will be with you. You'll be fine."

"WHAT?!" Ryu shouted not knowing about staying with the annoying Tenryubito.

Sayu glanced at the cook. "You didn't think we'd leave him by himself? He's incapable and stupid, besides you hate the snow. You said it yourself."

Ryu glared at the ground and the twins snickered at his defeated expression. "What the hell are you two idiots laughing at?!"

"Nothing!" Both twins looked away with a smirk.

"So we all meet back in Kurayuki in four days, Captain?" Bepo asked him.

Law nodded. "Bepo, Shachi and Penguin, stay together. Haken and the twins, you're one team as well."

"EH?! I don't want to be with the old man!" Yuri glared at the cowboy who had a scowl as well.

"I want to go with the little soldier." Haken grunted and glared at the twins. "I might end up killing the bokken soldiers..."

"Not if we kill you first..." Yuki muttered with a harsh look.

Law sighed and turned away from the arguing trio. "Bepo and Sayu, get ready to dock us."

"Hai!"

Trafalgar Law

Shirohana was a snow filled wasteland. The only habitual town that tourist actually go to is Kurayuki as it's the only semi safe place to stay. Everything else on the Land of Shirohana was labeled as death and no normal citizen would traverse the place. But for pirates and the rebellious, it was perfect to hide in as even the government holds wary when traversing Shirohana.

"I still don't understand why I have to stay with this loser..." Ryu grumbled as the four of them walked into the only hotel on the island.

"We can't just leave him alone until I can be certain he'll be fine." Sayu said as she walked up to the clerk. It was a male clerk and his eyes instantly went to Sayu's chest that was prominent as Law's jacket was tight only around her chest. However Sayu didn't notice the leering that the clerk was doing. "Hi, I'd like a room with two beds for five days please."

The clerk grinned and wiped the drool from his face which didn't go unnoticed by Law. Oblivious to the look that Law was projecting to the clerk behind her Sayu wondered why the clerk suddenly choked and looked scared for his life. "One room please sir." Law held malice in his voice to the clerk.

"Right, right of course! For five nights it'll be forty five hundred beli..." The clerk handed Sayu the keys while sweating bullets from Law's gaze.

Sayu pulled out the beli but was stopped by Adit. "A woman should never pay, even if she is a commoner." Adit pulled out a sack of beli from his coat and placed it on the desk. "Keep the change poor commoner, from the looks of it you could use it."

The clerked glared at Adit and then narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Do I know you, sir?"

"Ah, I'm happy you asked commoner. I am-"

"Charles. His name is Charles." Law interrupted Adit before he could spout his stupid name. Law took the keys from Sayu and made his way towards the room they would be putting Adit and Ryu. As they were walking, Law spoke to Adit. "You can't go telling everyone your name. This land is full of the poor and abused alike from Tenryubitos. If they find out one is here, we'll be in trouble. Until you're out of our care, don't throw your name around so carelessly, Mr. Adit."

Adit nodded his head. "I apologize commoner. It works very differently in Mariejois."

"And please stop referring to everyone as commoners. That's a big thing down here, it'll set suspicion on you in a hot second." Sayu sighed and shook her head.

"This place is a fucking dump. Worse than Junk Island..." Ryu looked around and noticed the hotel was rotting in some places.

"Well, there's this nice restaurant we passed on our way here. It looked cute." Sayu said. Law put the key in and opened the door. It looked like shit but it was doable.

"Here are the keys and we'll see you in a few days, Mr. Ryu." Law handed over the keys and grabbed Sayu's hand and dragged her out.

"Ah, bye Ryu!" Sayu waved to the cook and Adit as she was dragged out. "So, Law. What are we doing in the mountains? That's like a days walk from here and it's snowing. I don't want to get lost."

Law looked back to his first mate and smirked. "I've heard some interesting things about the mountains of Shirohana. An abandoned palace from the old days."

"Ehh...treasure maybe? A palace? What was Shirohana back in the old days?" They stepped out into the snow covered town and looked around, unknowingly to the two, they were still holding hands. However it felt so natural that neither of them really paid attention to it.

Walking down the path that led to the mountains Law continued to speak to her. "Shirohana was a kingdom back in the old days. However tyranny was going on as the queen who ruled it was not the nicest they said and the villagers in the towns raged a war and a massacre was made. Lives were lost, towns were decimated and Shirohana became the wasteland you see it as today. That was over fifty years ago."

"Wow...how do you know that if it was over fifty years ago." Sayu asked him.

Law turned around flicked her forehead. "I read, unlike some people I know."

Sayu rubbed her forehead and pouted. "I read too, but only science and mechanical books..." Sayu looked up at the sky. It was cloudy and the sun couldn't be seen over the heavy amount of snow falling. "I lent Haken and the twins the land rover. I really hope they don't break it...I mean, it's got snow tires but still. I only showed Haken the basics. He's really smart so maybe it'll be fine..."

Haken

"Watch out, watch out, watch out!" Yuri shouted over the roar of the engine.

Haken scoffed. "I can see the snow dune, bokken soldier, I'm not blind." Haken turned the wheel and drifted to avoid the snow dune in the road. Yuki and Yuri were in the back seat with Haken taking the front and driving. "I gotta say, the things the little soldier builds are amazing."

"Can you slow down, I think I'm going to be sick..." Yuki looked green and was hanging his head over the side of the rover.

"Hang in there, Yuki. We'll be to Monama soon." Yuri patted his brother's back.

Monama was the second town on Shirohana. It was a small town that had a few stores and such like Kurayuki but not many lived there as it wasn't any better then the rest of Shirohana. It was a bit further inland and walking just wouldn't have cut it, so Sayu put Haken's fingerprints into the land rover and told him to go ahead and take it after showing him how to operate it.

"Whoa!" Yuri gripped his seat as Haken drove over a bump and the rover bounced in the air.

"You're being over dramatic, bokken soldier. Learn to lighten up a bit." Haken chuckled looking back at the twins. Both their eyes widened.

"TREE, TREE!" They shouted in unison.

"Tch. You guys are no fun at all..." Haken swerved to the right missing the tree last minute. "Every time we go out, the Captain hogs the little soldier all to himself. What a pain, I can't spend all my time with her like I want to." Haken's face got sad and he closed his eyes.

"EYES OPEN!"

Bepo

"Alright, that's it for the rest of the food. What we could manage to get anyway. This place is dirt poor." Shachi mumbled while carrying a crate just like the other two.

Bepo, Shachi and Penguin were still in Kurayuki getting everything Law needed before the trio set off to Furagisa. It's the last and final town on the land of Shirohana and probably the most dangerous. Furagisa was known as the black spot. There was nothing there and oddly enough, the snow never accumulated on the grass land. People say that Furagisa was the devils lair, supposedly a beast lived there, that's why no one goes there. However, the trio weren't too worried, they could handle most anything that came their way. It can't be much scarier than Grant the Ghost. He was terrifying...

"Let's drop this stuff off at the ship and then make way. It'll take half a day to get there...I really hope we run into a female bear on the way." Bepo was enjoying the winter climate so much and it hyped his confidence up on meeting a female bear. Bepo was a man too, only just a bear.

Penguin nodded and puffed out his chest. "We got your back, Bepo. Just think of us as wing mans!"

If Sayu was with them she would be staring at them with a weird look. What will happen if Bepo does meet another bear?

"I really wanted to ride in the land rover. The twins and Haken are so lucky..." Shachi was jealous that the could ride and his group had to walk. Of course Monama was all the way on the other side of the island and walking would take longer than any of the places they were going to.

"I hope the Captain and Sayu are having fun at least..." Penguin muttered. He too was dejected that Sayu didn't trust her engineers with the land rover and rather give it to the scientist.

Ryu

"Come now commoner, show me those moves of yours! You don't want to disappoint the pretty red haired commoner, do you? You guys are her harem aren't you? It'd look bad upon you to not help in training the great Adit." Adit made a motion of punching the air in practice.

Ryu wanted to smash then Tenryubito's head into the wall. "Harem?! Are you kidding me? We're not her harem! She just has more hold over us being the first mate."

"First mate...that is second in command to the Captain, correct?" His whiskers twitched in curiosity. "So you deny being part of her harem?"

"There is no fucking harem!" Ryu barked at him. "And yes...if the Captain is ever away, she would be in charge. That's generally what first mate means."

Adit hummed in acknowledgement. "So that would also mean that she is quite strong, yes?"

Ryu nodded while polishing his chains on his bed. "Yeah, she's strong. The Captain is stronger than her though. She hasn't beaten him in a serious fight yet. They mostly joke around while training, but she has gotten stronger since the first time I met her."

"Ah, I could feel it when she graced me with her lovely feet on my face." Adit's face was red as he thought back to Sayu stepping on him. "I consider this a great honor as no one has ever hit me as she does."

"I could hit you right now if you'd like." Ryu grumbled at the pervert.

"No no no, commoner. Only she may step on me with her delicate feet. I do not wish to have your filthy commoner feet on me. Please keep them to yourself." Adit kicked his foot up in the air and then fell back. "Ow..."

Ryu sighed and shook his head. "You're so stupid, man."

Trinity Sayu

"Run faster!" Law shouted back at her as they were running through the trees of the forest before the mountains they would need to traverse.

"I am! It's hard because the snow is so deep!" Sayu huffed with a red nose. Behind them was a pack of white winter wolves chasing them. Law was ahead of her, being use to snow it wasn't so difficult for him but Sayu had little experience with running in snow boots and it was hard.

"You should let me kill them and be done with this!" He looked back at her seeing one of the wolves getting dangerously close to her.

Sayu pulled out a pistol and switched out her bullets carefully with tranquilizer darts. "I don't condone animal cruelty! Only to vermin!" Sayu stopped and turned around just as a wolf pounced on her knocking her to the ground. "Ah!"

"Sayu!" Law stopped and ran back to her.

Sayu had one hand around the neck of the wolf on top of her and placed her pistol against it's side and fired a direct shot. The wolf dropped instantly, falling asleep. "I'm okay!" Sayu quickly picked herself up and shot her remaining darts at the few wolves charging at her. Hitting each one with her expert marksmanship, they fell one by one asleep to the ground. Sayu huffed and calmed her racing heart down.

Law stopped next to her and looked her over. She didn't have any wounds he could see. "You okay?"

Sayu nodded and reloaded her pistol with more small darts. "Yeah, I'm fine. Haken made these potions for me in case I would ever need them against perverts as he put it. Guess they came in handy today." She smiled at him.

"I'll have to thank Mr. Haken when we see the crew again." Law chuckled.

Sayu put her pistol back in her belt and brushed herself off from the snow. "I've never climbed a mountain before you know. This will be a learning experience for me." Sayu looked up from her coat and looked back at Law. She pushed him to the ground in a split second and then collapsed on top of him.

"Sayu?!" Law got tackled to ground by her and dropped his sword in the process. Sayu had an arrow sticking out of her shoulder. "Sayu!" Suddenly Law heard more arrows being fired and he grabbed Sayu tightly and rolled out of the way just as three arrows landed in the spot they were laying in. Running on instinct, Law quickly picked her up and hid behind a cluster of trees. "Sayu, speak to me." Law sat her on the ground and patted her cheek gently.

Sayu waved his hand off her cheek and sighed. "I'm fine. It's just an arrow." Sayu grabbed the arrow and yanked it out without hesitation. "I'm just happy you didn't get hurt. I rather it be me than you. Now then..." Sayu pulled off her backpack and opened it up. "We need to get your sword, but it's out in the open..." She pulled out components to her sniper rifle and started to piece it together quickly. "It's probably just some bandits, nothing to worry about." Sayu peeked around the trees to quickly look but pulled back as an arrow nearly nicked her face.

Law studied her as she was thinking. He knew in that split second that her eyes got where the arrow had been fired from. "If I switch you with my blade, can you take some of them out quickly enough?"

Sayu closed her eyes and let out a long breath. She had calmed herself down and was completely focused now. "Yes."

Law nodded and held out his hand. "Get ready..." Sayu got into a crouched position and held her scope up to eye level. "There's a hill at the bottom of this forest and then it drifts off to the mountains. As soon as I switch you, start firing at whoever you see and head towards that hill. I'll be right behind you."

"Heard that best friend." Sayu smirked and Law opened his palm.

"Room." Law's operation room expanded covering him, Sayu and his sword. "Shambles!"

Sayu was switched with Law's sword and in an instant she fired off a shot towards one direction and a cry of pain was heard as a body dropped to the ground from the trees up high. "That's one." Sayu rolled forward avoiding arrows and shot another round off into a bustle of trees. Another cry of pain and a body dropping. "I don't mean to alarm you or anything but I think I might be using observation haki!" Sayu shouted as she stood up and started to run through the snow.

Law held his sword up and swung it in a wave. The trees around them fell to the ground and it revealed a small bustle of bandits with arrows pointing at them. "Haki?! You have that?!" Law started to run behind his first mate, dodging arrows.

"I don't know, I'm not sure!" Sayu twirled around and fired off round after round and the body count started to rise with each shot. In front of Sayu was a bandit with a hand blade ready to slice her. Undeterred, Sayu ran forward while firing towards the man. The bandit moved, making Sayu miss. Just as she got face to face with him Law activated his room.

"Room! Shambles!" Law switched places with Sayu and took the lead. He raised his blade and cut the man swiftly in half. Blood painted the snow red but neither looked back as they continued to run forward. Their teamwork was impeccable. Law ran forward and started to slice through any bandit that tried to attack him. Sayu had his back as she continued to fire and cover their six. The slope of the hill was just in sight to the two. Suddenly an arm cannon was fired at them.

"Law!" Sayu shouted in warning.

"I know!" Law extended his hand. "Room! Shambles!" The cannonball was switched with a flurry of snowflakes and was heading right back towards the bandit that fired it.

An explosion rocked the forest and Sayu had to cover her eyes as snow was kicked up everywhere. Opening her eyes as soon as it cleared, Sayu ran into Law's back and knocked them both down the slippery slope of the hill. "Ah! Law!" Sayu and Law tumbled down the slope where they could see even more bandits waiting for them.

Law rolled down the slope and stood up, starting to skate down it instead. The bandits below carried even more arrows and started to fire. "Sayu!"

"Right!" Sayu rolled herself to her feet and skated down right behind Law. "I'm ready!"

"Room!" Law's room expanded again and he twisted his fingers. "Shambles!" Law and Sayu switched places, with Sayu taking the lead again.

Raising her sniper again, Sayu aimed quick and fearlessly while sliding down the slope. "One!" Sayu shot off a round it went straight through an arrow heading for her and into the head of the bandit that fired it.

"Who are these people?! They're too good!" One of the bandits shouted just as he was shot down and dead in a split second.

"That's two!" Sayu fired another round but it failed. "Law, I need to reload!"

"Shambles!" Law switched places and took the lead. Law jumped up just as they got to the bottom of the slope and landed on one of bandits knocking him to the ground. He raised his sword and dug it into the head of the bandit in swift moment and then rolled out of the way and sliced open another one that was charging at him from the side.

Sayu had reloaded and landed on her stomach and then lined up her scope. Firing from her place on the ground, she fired off three shots, killing three bandits. One was left and he charged at Sayu with a rusted knife. Before he could even hope to get within feet of her, Law had claimed his head and life with one swing of his nodachi. Sayu sighed and relaxed. "That was a workout..."

Law chuckled and pulled out a cloth from his pocket. He wiped his precious Kikoku clean of the blood and tossed the dirty cloth aside. "Shirohana is nothing but bandits, Sayu. I told you that."

"I know but there were so many. I'm so happy Master Sumiah taught me well." Sayu giggled and stood up. Just as she stood up, a huge shadow covered the two of them. Both Sayu and Law looked up and saw a giant falling towards them. "Law!" Sayu shoved Law out of the way, just as she was crushed underneath the giant.

Law tumbled on his side and stopped then quickly looked up seeing nothing but snow and debris in the air. "Sayu!" The snow cleared slightly and it looked like a beast of a man standing at nearly thirteen feet tall. How had they not heard him coming?! "Sayu!" Law called out for his first mate but no answer. Law stood up and extended his hand. "Room!"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, little man." The giant spoke and he held up his hand, and in it was Sayu. She was out cold with blood streaming down her face.

Law clenched his teeth and lowered his hand. "Put her down."

"No can do." The giant then grabbed Sayu by her hair and held her like a rag doll. "This one will be used as the Shirohana sacrifice to appease the late queen."

"Sacrifice? Your queen died a long time ago! You have no reason to sacrifice her!" Law watched in pain as the giant swung Sayu by her hair back and forth.

"We do sacrifices to honor our late queen. She shouldn't have died...luckily we found we could bring her back by sacrificing and giving her blood of innocent women. This one will mark the hundredth body and the ritual will be complete. One wrong move, pirate and I will break her neck." The giant put his fingers towards Sayu's neck and squeezed it slowly.

Sayu's face scrunched up in pain and her eyes shot open. "Agh! Let me go!"

"Stop!" Law shouted and put his blade down on the snow slowly. "Don't hurt her." He held up his hands and backed away carefully.

The giant stopped squeezing Sayu's neck and smirked. "Wise choice, little man. However, we don't have use for you." The giant swung his foot out and it connected with Law's body throwing him back. Numerous cracks could be heard as Law crashed into the bottom of the mountain behind them. His body fell to the ground didn't move.

"Law! You bastard! Let me go! Law!" Sayu kicked her feet as tears appeared in her eyes from pain of her hair being pulled. "Let go! Let go!" She grabbed her head and struggled as much as she could.

"Quit squirming. I need your body in a somewhat good condition for the ritual. The others will be so happy to bring back the late queen." The giant made his way to the mountain about to crush Law with his foot and end his life.

Sayu saw this and struggled even harder. "NO! DON'T TOUCH HIM! PLEASE!"

"He will only prove to be a pain if he comes back to try to save you. It'll be better to kill him now." The giant raised his foot prepared to crush Law.

"NOOO!" Sayu grabbed her pocket knife and in one swift movement, she sliced her hair off and fell to the ground with a harsh thud breaking one of her legs in the landing. Running on adrenaline, Sayu quickly crawled for her sniper and shot it off into the giants head, right between his eyes. His body fell to the ground with a loud thud and everything shook around them. In a few minutes everything was quiet. Sayu was breathing heavily with a shocked expression. She didn't know what to feel or do at the moment. Sayu's hands shook as she stared at her fallen hair spread out around her. "...Mother..." Sayu could vaguely hear footsteps getting close to her. Now wasn't the time to mourn over her hair. Sayu gulped back her tears and limped over to Law's sword and her backpack. She quickly grabbed both and wrapped them around her waist with the sword horizontal to her. Limping back over to Law's body, she carefully placed him on her back and slowly made her way around the base of the mountain towards some caves she saw in the distance.

All the while, the snow was getting heavier and the winds getting stronger. A blizzard was on the way, she could tell. Choking back her tears and emotions, she knew she had to find shelter and give Law whatever first aid she could offer him. As hard as she tried she couldn't stop some tears from falling into the snow as she limped on with a broken leg and knocked out Captain on her back. "...I'm so sorry mom..." She said aloud to the winds howling. Sayu had to move before anymore of the late queens followers came looking for them.

Ryu

Ryu hated the snow with a passion. He hated this island as it was dirty and filled idiots to the brim. And their restaurants were sub par as well. Disgusting really. But the worst part was they haven't even been in the hotel for even at least a day before the idiot Tenryubito blew their cover.

"His face is all over the news as missing! He should just be dead! The late queen was a Tenryubito and a curse to this island!" One of Kurayuki's villagers threw a glass bottle at Ryu who merely stepped to the side to avoid it. All the while having Adit behind him so he wouldn't get hurt.

Adit, not to be deterred by the hate tried to explain himself. "I am not like my ancestors! Please believe me, I wouldn't cause harm to you poor commoners!"

"Lies! The late queens followers have been rising and kidnapping our women in hopes of bringing the tyrant back! Your presence is a sign that they must be getting close! We'll be at war first thing in the morning with them if she is resurrected!" Another villager charged towards Ryu and Adit with a flimsy sword. Ryu raised his arm and a chain shot out and wrapped around the blade. Yanking it from the villager Ryu tossed it to the side.

"Listen up!" Ryu shouted over the crowd that were yelling at him. "This spineless idiot behind me is no longer a Tenryubito! I don't know what happened between you and your late queen but this guy is not the same and won't be!"

"How can we believe that?! The late queen was a curse! Her blood runs through his!"

"If we all take them on, they won't stand a chance!"

So they were planning to kill him and Adit without even giving Adit a chance. Ryu really hated things like this. Ryu sighed and turned back to Adit with an aggravated expression. "Whatever you do, don't move from this exact spot."

Adit nodded quickly and his ears twitched nervously. "You aren't going to kill them are you? They are only poor commoners..."

"Relax, I won't kill them." Ryu turned back to the crowd of civilians as they charged at him with pitchforks, torches, and old blades. "Only going to knock them out." Ryu ran towards the crowd and jumped into the air. Twisting his body in a turning motion, his chains lashed out from his coat. Ryu latched onto one man and swung him up and down, knocking him out instantly. Landing on his feet in the center of crowd, Ryu twirled his body and his chains knocked into the many villagers, throwing them off their feet.

"Die, Tenryubito!" One villager charged at Adit who stood frozen in his spot. The villager was wrapped in a chain in an instant and dragged back towards Ryu.

"Get over here!" Ryu grabbed the guy by his neck. "Wrong move, man." Ryu punched him straight in his face and he was out. Ryu held up the unconscious man towards the little people that remained. "If you don't want to end up like this guy, you'll leave us alone."

Adit stared at Ryu with amazement written all over his face. "You're amazing commoner!"

Ryu glared at Adit then turned back to the crowd and dropped the poor man. "Now what is this about the late queens resurrection?"

The villagers looked around cautiously until one stepped forward. "As you can see, barely any women remain here. It's because the late queens followers are killing them and using their blood for her revival. We hide our women as best as we can but we can tell their ritual is almost done. The tremors get stronger each time a woman is sacrificed."

Ryu cursed under his breath. "And where are the late queens followers based at?"

"Ah, well the sub base is in Furagisa, but the main base is located in the mountains where the old palace is at."

"Ah, that's where the pretty commoner and that Captain went!" Adit said.

Ryu pulled out his mini den den mushi and tried to call the Captain but no answer was heard. "Shit man...they may be after the shrimp...we can't go after them either...I have to stay close to the ship. Dammit!" Ryu made his way to Adit and grabbed his arm. "If they capture the shrimp, the Captain will decimate this entire island and not only that, these people will be at war with each other. I've got to get in touch with the Captain somehow. We're going back to the ship."
