Mark had been calling and texting Sean for days and every time he tried to go over to his apartment, Sean wouldn't answer the door. There were times that Evan had tried to but in the fear of having his head bitten off by Sean, he didn't. Evan decided he would rather live than face the wrath of Sean so he avoided the dorm room like the plague. The gang stopped going around there and even stopped hanging around Mark's place as so not to pick sides. After feeling very depleted, he finally decided to give it one last try and then he would give up. Mark sighed and knocked on the door.
"Pizza delivery." He said in a girly voice. He heard shuffling inside and a lot of talking before the door opened and Sean appeared. He immediately tried to slam the door but Mark stopped it with his hand. "Ow, shit!" He cursed. He fingers had gotten smashed and Sean quickly opened the door again. With his other hand, Mark produced a bouquet of sunflowers and handed them to Sean. Sean smiled weakly from underneath his oversized blanket. He had bags under his eyes from not sleeping well and he looked sad. Mark smiled pitifully over at him. "Can I please come in and talk?" Mark asked. Sean sighed.
"I guess." Sean shrugged and moved to the side to let Mark in. Mark walked in and Sean followed. Sean set the flowers down on his desk and sat down on his bed. Mark sat down next to Sean and placed his hand on top of Sean's. They sat in silence for a few minutes before Mark spoke again.
"Why did you freak out so badly when I went to ask you to m-" Mark was cut off once more by Sean freaking out.
"Because who wouldn't freak out about that Mark?! That's a huge commitment and it's one I don't think I'm ready for! No! It's one I know I'm not ready for!" Mark waved his arms around dramatically to prove his point. "I mean how are you even ready for that level of commitment, Mark? Is it just something to vlog about? Is that what this is to you?"
"No, no! Sean! I love you and I want-"
"You love me?" Sean stared at him with wide eyes.
"Yes, I've told you that!" Mark started to get frustrated with Sean's shockedness.
"Only once, maybe! But now you're saying it again and it's becoming real." Sean shot back.
"So! Why can't it be real?! I lov-" Sean cut Mark off.
"La da da di da!" He held his ears and repeated the phrase over and over again.
"Oh real mature, McLoughlin!" Mark jumped at Sean and tackled him to the bed while he kept repeating the phrase.
"La da da di da! La da da di da! La da da di da!" Sean chanted as Mark struggled to uncover his ears.
"Oh yeah, well I love you! I love you! I love you!" Mark chanted right back. Sean struggled against his weight and Mark began to tickle him.
"Stop stop!" Sean squealed but Mark wouldn't let up. Sean panted, out of breath. "Okay, okay. I love you too!" Mark stopped. He stared down into Sean's sparkling eyes.
"Do you really?" Mark offered up a lopsided grin to Sean, hopeful, yet scared.
"Yes. I do." Sean said after looking at Mark for a second.
"Then why won't you move in with me? I've tried to ask you multiple times now and you keep rejecting me." Mark frowned. Sean blinked at him.
"Wait what?!" Sean stared at Mark in disbelief.
"I tried to ask you the day after the Halloween party to move in with me but you freaked out on me before I got the chance to even get the words out, why?" Mark asked, genuinely interested in what Sean had to say.
"I-I thought you were going to ask me to marry you!" Sean blurted out. Mark looked over at him with wide eyes.
"W-What?! What w-would make you think I was going to do something like that?!" Mark managed to stutter out.
"Well! You started talking about spending our whole lives together and you started saying you wanted to m... and I thought the rest of the sentence was marry me not move in with me!" Sean through his hands up in the air. Mark grinned sheepishly.
"Alright, alright. I can see why that might be a problem." Mark confessed. He held his hands up in defense. Sean swung at Mark lightly. The two of them stared into each other's eyes for a couple of minutes before they connected their lips together. When they parted, Mark stroked the side of Sean's cheek. "Would it be that bad if we did move in together?" Mark asked. After awhile of careful consideration, Sean spoke.
"No, I guess it might be kinda nice actually." He admitted. Sean smiled over at Mark.
"Do you want to?" Mark asked. Sean shook his head and Mark frowned.
"That's no way to ask me. Of course I'm going to say no." Mark got a big, goofy grin on his face.
"Sean McLoughlin, would you make me the happiest man in the world and move in with me?" Mark asked.
"Why yes Mark Fischbach, I would." Sean grinned. Mark jumped up and picked Sean up off the bed.
"So we're moving in together?" Mark asked, a pause of silence filled the room before Sean answered.
"We're moving in together!" Sean gushed and Mark twirled Sean around the dorm room. For the first time in a long time, the pair was truly happy. If only it would stay that way...but everyone knows that new relationships have their ups and downs and for this couple it is no different. And if by cruel fate, or maybe it had all been planned out by some writer, there was a knock on the door that snapped them out of their happy dance. When Sean opened it his face fell.
"Surprise bitch, I bet you thought you saw the last of me."
