Hello everyone. I'm sure you've all heard it by now- I'm sorry for being late, lists of excuses, begging for my life. Yadda yadda. Anywho I'm here with another chapter. And good news, this will actually be the start of a trilogy. An arc. Well really this was all one chapter but it got way to big so I was forced to chop it down into thirds.

The good news part is that the dark stuff that turned a lot of people off is officially over. Now we're getting into more adventure super heroics.

That'll be the end of the spoiler stuff. Enjoy.

Honey Pot

Chapter 17- taste the rainbow.

"This is so wrong." Kim said as she stared at the smoldering pile of scrap metal that was once a work desk. The smoke sizzling off it was starting to hurt her eyes and forced her to back away.

"I know." Drakken said, holding the towel around his waist with one hand as he pointed to the giant hole in his wall that Kim had just made to get into his lair with the other. Gotta love the dramatic heroes entrance. "I just fixed this place up."

"I'm not talking about tha-" Kim all but shouted at Drakken but stopped herself when she remembered that her arch-nemesis was all but naked. The young hero stood there stunned. The villain had always stood out, blue skin will do that, but now he was covered in purple welts and what looked to be third degree burns festering all over his body. A few were even grouped together and looked like hand prints, some even looked like lip marks. As if the villain was kissed by fire itself. The latter led down from his chest, to his gut, to- one of the marks was half covered by the towel at Drakken's waist. Holding back a gag, kim forced herself back at the desk and pointed at the smoking ruin. "Y-you, and, and S-shego... You- ahhh."

"Oh, that." Drakken waved a hand at his arch nemesis as walked over to a nearby consul and ordered a team of maintenance drones. "What exactly did you think me and Shego did in our off time?"

"I-I'm not sure what that was." Kim stuttered, waving the smoke away from her face.

"Y-you're kidding me." Drakken gave Kim a look. "I don't want to have 'the talk' with my arch foe. Soooo awkward."

"Th-the work bench." Kim stuttered, taking a step closer to the smoldering pile of scrap and saw a vague outline of a person's imprint in the metal.

"I am condemned to this fate." The super villain lazily shook his head with a sigh. "Its called sex. Something adults do when they're attracted to each other... or just bored and making the best of available options."

"That's not what I'm talking about." Kim glared at her arch foe, or as much as she could manage through her shock. "I-"

"No, he's right." Hego said, pointing at the super villain as he eyed the younger super hero. "Do you really not know that? I know school budgets have but cut, but still."

"Hego." Kim all but barked through her clenched teeth as she gestured to the still smoking metal. "The work bench, its half melted. Red. Smoking. Hot. Still is."

"Huh." Drakken raised and eyebrow at his arch foe before shrugging at Hego. "She only talks like yoda when she's actually worried."

"Drakken, how are you even alive?" Kim said, pointing to the still searing human hand print on his blue chest. "... Or shego for that matter. You were both on top of something that was melting and shego was the only one actually wearing anything."

"Oh, that's called lingerie." Drakken tilted his head back and rolled his eyes. "Its something adults wear during sex."

"Shut up and explain how you're still breathing!"

"I have to admit, I'm a bit curious myself."

Hego said as he walked over to Drakken and examined the searing hand print on the super villains chest. Looking closer herself, Kim could see that the wound was actually smaller than it was just a few moments ago and getting smaller by the second. As was all the other injuries. Drakken himself was less than pleased by this. The blue villain took a step back as he glared at the blue super hero.

"If you don't step back I'll slap a shock collar around your neck and make you power my break lights with a giant hamster wheel." Drakken threatened with his usual scowl. As he did, Kim could see his back and instead of seeing seared barbecue ribs with the spine still attached the young hero saw that her arch nemesis had all his skin with hardly any mark of the burns left. "Hamster wheel. You hear me?"

"Ah-hah!" Hego cheered, ignoring Drakken's threat. "Of course, its so simple. The reason this man could do that was bec-"

"HEGO!"

Someone shouted from the back of the room fallowed by a deafening war cry as green fireballs streaked through the air. Kim didn't even need to look as she darted to the side and behind cover as Shego lunged in the air toward her brother. The sister of the hero didn't have to go far as Hego was hit in the first volley and cringing on the ground, his chest smoking.

"Crap." Kim cursed as she harnessed Hego's power in her right arm before ripping out a piece of the stone floor the size of her own torso and used it as a shield. "Shego, stop!"

"Are you serious? You're wrecking the lair even more!" Drakken howled as he dived behind the smoldering work bench and out of Kim's sight. "Shego keep her busy."

The super mercenary didn't so much as shrug at her boss as she closed the gap to her brother. Kim wasn't happy letting Drakken stay out of her sight but she didn't have a choice as the young hero dived in front of Shego and let the stone shield absorb the green villains anger. It didn't last very long. Handful after handful the stone was chipped away until there was hardly any left. Luckily the newly super powered Kim Possible didn't need much and used the last of the stone to slam Shego right in the gut and sent her flying to the far wall.

"Sooo, is the tantrum over?" Kim asked, feeling the last of the stone crumble in her hands as she stared down her green rival. Shego herself wasn't much different from her brother, just cringing on the ground and holding her side.

"For her, maybe!"

"Wha-"

Kim asked as she turned to the side, but she was too late. A beaker of green fluid smashed open at her feet and before Kim could even blink green vines sprouted out of the goo. The mess of vines grew and grew around her limbs and body until they all but immobilized her. The hero could still move her pinkie toes inside her shoes, that was it. Try as she might, even with Hego's strength the young hero couldn't move. That wasn't the worst of it, the vines felt like oily rubber and smelt like wet fertilizer that'd been in the sun too long. Looking toward the cackling laughter, Kim saw drakken- still in nothing but a towel- standing on the melted work bench. The villains feet sizzling on the metal like a pair of blue burger patties, though Drakken either didn't notice or didn't care as he grew a mad grin while he pointed a blaster at Kim's face.

"Kim Possible, you think you're all that but you're no-"

"F-Finally!" Shego coughed as she pulled herself to her feet. Shego grew the same mad grin as Drakken as she stammered her way toward the trapped hero, one hand on her side. "D-Didn't even need a death trap this time."

"Shego! I finally get to say it in triumph and then you-gah. Come on."

"Doc." Shego smirked at Drakken, as her free hand erupted in green flame. "You can put it on her tomb stone. Lets do this together."

The young hero grew her own smirk as the two villains re-aimed their weapons at her before Kim whistled. Before either villain could blink a teal colored drone the size of a car engine dove through the hole Kim had come through. It showered Shego in teal sticky balls that expanded and expanded until the green mercenary was just as imprisoned as Kim, leaving only her face visible with her enflamed hand buried and smoking. The drone didn't stop there, as it fired four small tethered darts at Drakken, hitting him home in the chest next to the hand print and shocking the blue villain senseless. Drakken stood here, stunned and silent, his body smoking as much as the desk below him. The smirk on Kim's face grew at the sight... until Drakken's towel fell off and Kim had no way of turning away.

"Ah, c-come on!" Kim cringed in disgust as the now completely naked Drakken fell to the floor.

"How come Shego got foamed and I got zapped?" Drakken glared at the drone.

"Put your towel back on!" Kim yelled as the drone flew back around and behind the young hero. "Wade, what'r you doing back there?"

"Scanning." Wade's voice announced from the speakers. "Kim, the plants are too strong to cut with anything in this model. Luckily they're flammable."

"Of course they are."

Kim sighed, resigned to her fate as she heard the ignition flames flicker to life behind her. The last thing Kim saw before she closed her eyes was her arch foe mumbling no's as he tried to crawl away. It honestly wasn't that bad. Kinda like being dropped into a giant toaster for a few seconds, or sprinting in Texas summer heat, of which the young hero had done in the last month so she knew what she was talking about. When it was over Kim let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in and the vines restraining her broke apart like snapped twigs.

A bit more terrified than she would admit, Kim opened her eyes and padded herself down in a worried panic. She needn't have bothered. Not a second later the hero was bombarded with what felt like golf ball sized hailstones that quickly expanded like baking soda volcano just erupted all over her body and kept going until her entire body was covered in what had to be six inches of the stuff. Thankfully it knew when to stop at her face.

"Wade." Kim tried not to sneer but it probably sounded even worse. Just like before Kim was immobilized again, but instead of oily rubber it felt like someone dropped her into a bean bag chair made of super glue that smelled like bleach.

"Sorry Kim, just a precaution." Wade said, his voice still clinically robotic as the drone shifted above her. "You just need to wait there a minute. The foam acts as an industrial grade fire retardant. Sixty- forty five seconds."

Kim tried to take a deep breath to calm herself down but discovered she could move even less than in the vines and barely inhale. It hit Kim like a freight train and the young hero's eyes darted toward the other comet powered super in foam. Shego's eyes were all but glazed over, her face covered in her usual anger but tilted more toward fear by the second as she tried sucking in tiny breaths.

Without thinking Kim summoned hego's strength to break free. It wasn't enough. Kim couldn't so much as budge. That was when something like real fear crept up Kim's spine. Not for herself, though that was there, but for the woman that ad tried to kill the young hero more times than she could count. Kim liked punching her green face in, sure, but kim just didn't want shego to die. Especially not through slow suffocation.

Kim tried with all her might and it must've showed because hego appeared with a mechanic's grinding tool the young hero had seen her dad use on projects at home and started chipping away at the foam. It was enough and didn't take long before the hero broke herself free. Kim instantly pulled out her laser lip stick, set it to its lowest setting and drew a zig zag pattern on the foam covering shego's chest. Kim dashed to shego and pounded into the pattern, her glowing blue fist all but disintegrating the foam covering the front of shego's torso. Shego herself erupted with a large inhale, the life returning to her eyes. Taking a step back, Kim was forced to catch her own breath and slump down to her knees. Kim and shego looked at each other, hero and villain's breathing was in synch. Neither tiredly smiled and there was no nod of thanks or acknowledgment. Both hero and villain would dare anyone to say otherwise.

Before anything else could be said or done, labored groaning gathered everyone's attention. It was Drakken, or what was left of him. Unlike kim, the villain didn't have a nest of super dense, super tough vines to insulate him from wade's flames. If he didn't take the direct blast it was the next worst thing. The top layer of his skin on his top left side was gone. Muscle and sinew was exposed to the world. Parts of his skull was actually visible. The eye was intact but the lid was gone. Drakken wasn't blue anymore. The rest of him was in a mix of purple and black splotches. Drakken looked like a mix between a certain coin flipping batman villain and a smurf with chicken pox.

"...W-whoops." Wade stammered, his voice somehow sheepishly robotic as the drone drifted away from the charred almost corps.

"Grahhh...You." Drakken groaned, pointing at Wade's drone as he got to his knees. The villains burned and blotted eyes on the floating piece of metal, as if death itself was glaring. Once again, the young hero was reminded that the good doctor was naked. More than that, Kim came to notice Drakken's right shoulder was still on fire. The hero couldn't decide which was worse. It all seemed to add on to the monstrosity. Put together it was like Darth Vader himself after the lava bath. The young hero was just waiting for the cry of hatred. "You're on my shit list."

There it was.

"...Doc?" SHego asked, her voice more than a bit shaken. The second she did Drakken collapsed face first onto the concrete in a wet splatter.

"Wade, hose him off and don't use that stupid foam again."

"But kim, the foam is perfect for this situa-"

"Don't argue." Kim yelled, her voice more than a bit shaken herself. "Just do it."

xxxxxxx

"I hope you're happy." Drakken said in a pout as he finished off the last of his water bottle before tossing it behind him without a care in the world. The empty plastic bottle landed in a small pile of other H2O bottles, nutrient bar wrappers and apple cores. The mad scientist was in a dark blue mechanic's jump suit now which actually made him much more menacing looking than his mad doctor's coat ever did.

"I-I..." Kim stammered at her arch foe. The hero felt her eye twitch, staring at Drakken's all but fully healed face. The only evidence of his ordeal was the smell of ash, some soot, and what looked like a particularly bad case of sun burn on his blue face. Even that was disappearing before Kim's very eyes. "H-how are you even alive? I always guessed you had a healing factor, but wow."

"Meh." Drakken rolled his eyes as he opened another water bottle and took a swig. "This is my home. You tell me about your blue thing fir-"

"Hego I swear to god, if you don't get me out of this I will melt your face off." Shego all but hissed at her brother as he leaned against the wall next to her. Shego herself was still trapped in the foam. Sure, her torso was free, but only the front. The limbs, back, and head were still locked in silly cement. Honestly, shego looked like a cat covered in play dough."

"Shego, for shame." Hego waved a finger at her sister. "That's pretty insensitive of what just happened. Your boyfriend is right ther-"

Shego let out a rage filled roar, her eyes glowing bright emerald at her brother while the foam around her hands faded a faint jade.

"I-I'll just shut up now." Hego said, taking a step back.

"There's nothing to worry about hego." Wade said, his tone full of confidence as the teal drone drifted down next to the blue clad hero. "That compound was specifically designed to counter shego's powers. There is no chance of her escap-"

"Wade, don't say it." Kim pleaded.

"Too late."

Drakken yelped as he tossed his blood and ash riddled towel at kim, his voice full of mad glee. The hero didn't dare touch the damn thing and dived out of the way, rolling on her shoulder but couldn't get any traction on the ground thanks to the scattered wall remains and slammed into a column. By the time the hero recovered Drakken had already pulled something out of the many pockets of his jump suit and tossed it at shego. The vile broke on contact and its contents instantly started dissolving the foam into nothing.

"H-how?" Wade asked, clearly flabbergasted as the drone just hovered there.

"Plasma absorbing quick composite concrete?" Drakken's grin turned wolfish. "Who do you think you're talking to?"

Before anyone else could react Shego erupted from her restraints in an explosion of hard foam and green flames. Wade's drone did some evasive maneuvers and fired back with with what looked like trick paintballs. It did little good as shego was much more nimble than the drone could ever be and clearly more experienced than its pilot. It was all Wade could do not to get shot down.

As the new battle ensued Kim kneeled behind the same melted workbench she caught her two arch foes on top of when this whole mess started. Kim tried ignore that as she viewed how the fight was going before moving onto the rest of the lab and saw none other than hego hiding behind a column, waiting for a chance to jump in. After getting his attention with a wave, Kim directed the older hero where she wanted him and where she was going. The blue clad taco joint manager caught on quick and gave a smile that rivaled Drakken's own. The two hero's nodded at each other and snuck off.

"Ah-ha, finally." Drakken cackled as he wrapped the last layer of ductape around the very same grinding tool hego used to spare kim's life. After slamming an extension cord into an outlet the device vibrated in Drakken hand as he pointed it at the drone. "Move it over here, shego."

"You'll neve-"

"Gotcha Doc." Shego answered as she kicked the drone toward him in the middle of a backflip dodge of a taser dart.

The force did little more than knock it to the side, but it was more than enough for Drakken's impromptu device as it pulled the drone toward him like a teal cannon ball. The second the drone landed in a clang, Drakken ripped off a piece of its case with what appeared to be super pliers before inserting a drive in the same opening. Much like the vial from before, both of which he pulled out from the many pockets of his new jump suit.

"Yes, hold it there Doctor D." Shego grinned as she aimed her glowing fists at the drone.

"Ha, good luck." Wade laughed, completely aware that a mad scientist was above the drone and an angry hitman that was approaching. The done itself was dead as roadkill on the floor. "I made this thing to take an RPG to the face. Do your wor-"

"No shego." Drakken pleaded, holding his hand palm up. "With time I could control this thing. Imagine what we could do wi-"

The blue villain was interrupted when the red emergency lights started flashing and the self-destruct started counting down. The criminal cohorts turned over toward the main control consul to find none other than hego waving at them, his hand still on the big red button. Shego growled at her brother, readying another plasma blast but stopped when she heard a taunt from across the room. Kim was leaning against the hover craft and waving at the two just like hego before her. After summoning hego's power again, kim smashed a hole right into the gas tank. Its moss green contents dripping through the fresh exit and onto the floor. The villainous duo looked between the two heroes and then at each other for a few moment before drakken threw his hands up.

"Fine!" Drakken spat. "We give up."

"Great." Hego smiled, turning off the self-destruct. "Glad to see you finally coming to your senses sister."

"Shut up, hego." Shego spat, flipping off her brother as she marched over to Kim. "Seem's like all the people i hate formed a club. Why?"

"Aviarious." Kim answered.

"Bird boy?" Shego raised an eyebrow before turning back at her brother. "What, he set up a fried chicken stand and now you're mad he's beating your taco joint?"

"Ridiculous, as if chicken of any kind would ever defeat taco's." Hego snorted in a huff as he walked over to his sister. "Besides, you and I know how dangerous the feathered fiend can be. He's even more of a threat to public safety now. As heroes, it is our solemn duty to-"

"Oh my god, shut up."

It was about right there that both Kim and Drakken just couldn't understand what was being said anymore and could only watch as the two super siblings argument devolved into a verbal slap fight that would make a fourth grader blush. Eyeing the still extremely dignified display of the Go-family, Drakken walked over to Kim, his mouth open as he pointed at the two.

"Don't." Kim shook her head. "Fights like these are always messy. You don't wanna get involved."

"You know," Drakken folded his arms at his arch foe. "I've still got that truth ray lying around."

"Okay, short version." Kim sighed. "Bird guy. Scepter thing. Steals powers. Go city-"

"Go-city?" Drakken rolled his eyes. "That backwater circus of one gimmick hacks?"

"That bad?" Kim eyed him.

"Nothing but D-listers, Possible."

"That's pretty funny coming from you, Mr. Take over the world." Kim smirked at her arch foe.

"Hey." Drakken said looking legitimately hurt by her comment. "I never came at you with humming bird bombs or math themed henchmen."

"No, just armies of robot girls and old people." Kim folded her arms. "Totally less gimmicky."

Before either could continue both hero and villain were interrupted by what sounded like half war cry, half pouted grimace fallowed by a green energy blast. Turning over, both could see Hego scrambling for his life before hiding behind the melted work bench.

"Shego, stop." Kim yelled as she ran in front of the villain as she readied another energy blast. "I have brothers too. I know how annoying they can be, but you are going to help. Deal with it."

"Or what?" Shego threatened, murderous rage in her eyes as she folded her arms.

"Or, I'll tell everyone you used to be a good guy." Kim smiled knowingly.

"What?!" Drakken asked bewildered, his eyebrow raised so far up it threatened to fall off his head. "You, a hero. Seriously?"

"Wait," Kim tilted her head at Drakken before turning back to shego. "Did he not know that? Do villains even do background checks?"

"Ohhh, Possible." Shego glowered at the young hero as she clenched her fist. Kim could actually hear her knuckles pop. "You're on my shit list."

"Okaaay." Instantly the image of a charred Drakken came to Kim's mind. The young hero tried not to let it show how much that affected her. "Why are you so mad? I break into this place on a regular basis and we've worked together before."

"Grrr, its not you." Shego growled, her glare shifting from Kim to her brother. "Well, not just you."

"Its partially me." Hego waved at the two as he stood up, the work bench now only covering the hero from the waist down. "Partially interrupting her 'me time'. Back when the family lived together, I couldn't tell you how many times I had to keep our home from burning down when someone barged into her room or she was masterbat-"

"One. More. Word." Shego raised her hand toward hego, her palm blazing in green furry. It was plain to everyone that shego was fully prepared to turn her brother into a pile of blue ashes. Hego wisely shut his mouth and crouched behind the work bench again.

"Sooo..." Kim said, feeling the sheer awkwardness that had taken over the room. "Helping?"

Shego pointed at her brother without actually looking at him. "Not with hego."

Kim sighed, rubbing her left temple.

"Yeah, it usually takes her about an hour to calm down and think." Hego said, out of sight but his voice coming from behind the desk.

To everyone's surprise, shego stood there for a solid two second before turning around and completely turning the work bench into slag. Before Kim or anyone else could react a piece of the ceiling directly above the now burning metal broke loose and crashed right into the blaze, smothering the green fire in crushed rock and sand.

"Shego." Drakken yelled, his voice more than a little panicked as he ran toward his angry hired gun. "Calm down you wrecking ball of green doom. We just rebuild this place."

"Out of my way Drewbie." Shego spat as she aimed her glowing hands at her retreating brother.

'Drewbie?' Kim thought.

Drakken raised his hands in the air, letting his frustration show. "What is it with you sibling types."

"We, are, um. Your mother."

"Wow..." Drakken whistled. "I've heard you mock me better in your sleep. What was that?"

"Gah. I can't even think right now." Shego yelled, grabbing her hair and actually tugging on it. Her hair was apparently immune to her burning hands as the flames actually vanished when they touched. "All I can focus on is melting my brother's face off."

"Why not take the chance?" Drakken asked, as if it was the most natural- obvious thing in the world.

That got everyone's attention.

"What are you talking about drakken?" Kim asked, eyeing her arch foe.

"The classic enemy mine team up." Drakken eyed right back.

"The one where the bad guy always does a double cross?" Kim's frown grew lopsided.

"Naturally." Drakken nodded shamelessly.

"Why would you just announce it like that?" Shego asked, bewildered.

"What would be the point in denying it?" Drakken asked. The ladies looked at each other for a moment before mumbling acknowledgment.

"Nonsense." Hego announced, strutting out of wherever he'd been hiding. "Sure, my sister might be going through... a 'phase', but deep down shego has the heart of a true hero. She would never betray a promise. Especially when its the right thing."

There was another quiet moment after that. Kim and Drakken exchanged a look before turning to shego, who reached out to strangle her brother only to stop herself at the last moment and took a deep breath. Hego for his part, quivered in fear when she tried that only to stand tall with a dopey smile right after, as if vindicated. Completely ignorant or ignoring how close he came to death a mere moment ago.

"Over 20 years of that." Shego rolled her eyes, clearly holding back murderous rage as she pushed her brother away and turned to kim. "I could not be more in."

"Of course you are." Kim sighed before turning to hego. "In the unlikely event that shego doesn't betray us, we've still got a card-carrying villain on the roster. You're okay with that?"

"Bah." Hego waved a hand. "One villain against three heroes, we'll be fine."

"Yeah, hero." Shego smirked. "We'll be fine."

"Why should we even let Drak come along?" Kim grumbled turning back to shego, meeting the villains smile with a glower. "Shego we need, but not him."

"Because, you can twist my arm to work with you. But never enough to work with-" Shego pointed at her brother, who was now doing squat thrusts right there in the lair. "That. I need backup."

"Hey, i'm willing to work with that." Kim pointed to her arch foe, who was going through note cards.

"Ohhh, we're going there huh?" Shego's eyes narrowed.

"Oh we're going there." Kim matched the villains gaze.

"Alright, Buffon off. Lets start with- wait a minute." Shego looked around the lair and then back at Kim. The hero herself, to her credit, didn't move. Though she might've been biting the bottom of her lip. Shego raised an eyebrow at that. "Where's blondie?"

Kim said nothing but her actions spoke volumes. The young hero averted her gaze as she took a step back before letting out a painfully deep sigh. All capped off by the young hero hunching her shoulders as she swiped a hand down her face as if Kim was trying to pull something off that refused to let go.

"We're going through some...stuff." Kim managed to force out. An act that looked physically painful on her.

There was another silent moment in the lair, or at least between the two. The both of them avoiding each other's gaze but never letting the other out of sight. Eventually shego let out a nervous cough.

"Of all the things we can fight with, baggage shouldn't be one of them." Shego's face grew serious. "Drak comes."

Kim nodded, blankly.

And like that a silent agreement was made between the two. Hero and villain knew it. One that couldn't be explained and both knew it. One that changed everything between the two and both knew it.

"But." Kim coughed back. "Unlike hego, i'll be ready when you two make your move."

"Can't wait, princess."
