Chapter 21: A Christmas ... surprise?

Levy arrived at a quiet, little family owned Italian restaurant just a few minutes from campus. She was meant to meant Gajeel and Keitaro at the dorm entrance but Gajeel called at said to just meet them here as he was finishing up some last minute situation. After debating on whether or not to go in and wait for several minutes it began to snow, making her decision easier. Once inside she began to thaw as she found a corner booth to site and wait her her boys.

She didn't have to wait long. The bell on the door chimed and a giggle burst the bubble of hushed conversations and light music as Gajeel walked towards her. In his arms was a bright eyed, red cheeked Keitaro who had the biggest getting on his face. They joined her and both boys gave her a kiss as they sat down. A blush covered her cheeks as the two girls across from them giggled and whispered to each other.

"Hi, Gajeel. Hey, my sweet one!" Levy cooed as she hugged her son.

The waitress came and took their orders and brought drinks. She smiled flirtatiously at Gajeel before leaving the table.

Levy rolled her eyes and looked at Keitaro. "How was your day?"

"Mommy! Guess what! Daddy saved a kitty today! We named it Pantslily!" Kietaro happily told his mom in a high pitched voice.

"A kitty? Pantslily?" Levy's eyebrow arched as she gave Gajeel the 'I know you didn't!' look.

"Okay! I know ya said no but the little guy was injured and all alone. Kei here refused to leave him. And for the record his name is Pantherlily not pantslily."

"What do you plan to do with him? You can't keep him at the dorm."

Gajeel averted his eyes and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah.. About that. Well, you see.. I kinda.. Uh. Well.."

"Daddy bought a house mommy!"

Levy turned her wide eyes towards her son. "What?"

"Daddy bought a house for all of us to live in! We can live with Daddy and Lily and have Christmas with him instead of Grandpa!"

"You bought a house?"

"You're spending Christmas with your dad?"

Both questions were asked simultaneously as the couple stared at each other.
