Author's Note/Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pitch Perfect characters, locations, or event references. Nor am I owner of any of the real life references used. I am just a writer who had an idea for a Becommissar ship and I wish to share it with the world.

I apologize for the delay in this; I know everyone's been waiting, but with everything going on, I lost sight of this story…again. I have the outline, I swear I know how I want this story to go, but as I fill in the gaps and details…I've just been beating myself in trying to make it perfect. For that I'm sorry; I never meant to leave all of you hanging.

Shout out to taz312 for helping me with the translation for this chapter! Thank you!

Thank you again and on with the story!

Cologne, Germany: Fotostudio Balsereit, 09:40 p.m.

Members anxiously watched as the photographer exchanged words with Kommissar and Pieter, the three of them huddled around a small display screen. Aran resisted the urge to tug at the collar of their signature military outfits as they all stood on bated breath, exhausted from the long hours, but prepared if retakes are necessary. Luis kept his eyes trained on the photographer, his hopes rising as the photographer let out a smile and focused his attention on Kommissar. Glancing at Pieter, the group let out a sigh of relief as their co-leader gave them a nod, the group dispersing as Kommissar thanked the photographer.

"Ist alles in Ordnung?" asked Pieter, falling in step with Kommissar as they walked towards the changing rooms.

[Everything in order?]

"Ja," answered Kommissar as she reached up to release the bun from atop her head, "er wird uns die endgültige Version der Fotos schicken, mit ein paar kleinen Änderungen. Wir werdensie, zusammen mit den Produzenten, anschauen, aber sie sollten mit dem Ergebnis glücklich sein."

[Yes, answered Kommissar as she reached up to release the bun from atop her head, he will send us a final compilation of the photos after some minor edits. We'll have to review those with the producers, but they should be happy with the results.]

Pieter nodded as the two of them reached their respective changing rooms, chatter greeting them as they entered. Minutes later, the entire DSM family emerged from the studio doors, eager grins on their faces as they looked forward to the weekend. As agreed from the start of this album endeavor, the group had finally reached their first full weekend off, with Friday included, after nearly two months of non-stop schedules. Majority of the house members were planning on returning to their respective homes, catching up on some errands, and escaping the chaotic schedule of their anniversary. Others, like Pieter, were looking forward to seeing their significant others for a short time.

Waving goodbye to the members who decided to bring their cars, as to start their breaks as soon as possible, Kommissar and the remaining house members packed into the company van, the space still a bit empty. Nonetheless, the remaining members excitedly exchanged plans with one another, making the forty-minute drive feel a bit shorter than usual as animated conversations filled the air. Even the most reserved of the members partook in the noise, bringing a smile to both Kommissar and Pieter's faces as the co-leaders looked on fondly at the team.

As the van pulled into the car port, Pieter let out a laugh as their teammates rushed inside, muttered goodnights passing their lips as they practically clambered up into the house. Grabbing their bags out of the back, the co-leaders thanked the driver as they headed inside, light thuds echoing from above as they put their coats away.

"Bist Du sicher, dass Du morgen nicht nach Hause fahren willst? Es macht mir nichts aus, Dich dort abzusetzen," said Pieter, curiously looking at Kommissar as they walked to the living room.

[You sure you don't want to head back tomorrow? I don't mind dropping you off, said Pieter, curiously looking at Kommissar as they walked to the living room.]

Kommissar waved off Pieter as she sank down on the couch, Pieter opting out in favor of leaning against its back.

"Das wäre den Aufwand nicht wert. So schön es wäre, nach Hause zu fahren, die Reisezeit selbst würde einen halben Tag dauern. Außerdem haben die Hauptstimmen eine frühe Aufnahmesession am Montag, so dass es eine kurze Reise sein würde.

[Wouldn't be worth the hassle. As nice as it would be to head home, the travel time itself would take half a day. Plus, the main vocals have an early recording session on Monday, so it'd be a short trip.]

Kommissar stretched as she checked her phone, scrolling through her emails as she continued.

"Außerdem haben die Familie und ich schon Pläne für das nächste Wochenende gemacht, wenn wir frei haben. Vater sollte bis dahin entlassen werden, also werden wir uns auf halbem Weg treffen, um eine Art Miniurlaub zusammen zu verbringen."

[Besides, the family and I already made plans for the next weekend we're off. Father should be discharged by then, so we'll be meeting halfway to have a sort of mini vacation together.]

Pieter patted Kommissar's shoulder in comfort.

"Ich bin froh zu hören, dass es ihm besser geht."

[I'm glad to hear he's doing better.]

Kommissar let out a sigh of relief in response, casting a glance up to Pieter.

"Ich auch. Es ist gut, dass er so gut auf die neuen Medikamente reagiert hat; der Arzt sagt, dass dies mit seinem allgemein zu hohen Blutdruck helfen wird, was mit den Herzkomplikationen helfen sollte, die er bisher erlebt hat."

[Me too. It's good that he responded so well to the new medication; the doctor says that this will help with his overall high blood pressure, which should help the heart complications he's been experiencing so far.]

Pieter let out a hum of agreement as the conversation came to a close, Kommissar returning to her phone, tapping away messages and emails that flooded her inbox. Shifting his eyes to the ceiling for a moment, as if expecting another thud to echo down, Pieter smirked as silence greeted him. Leaning over, Pieter continued to smirk at Kommissar until the woman finally tore her gaze away from her phone, quizzingly looking at her friend; waiting for him to speak.

"Also...wie läuft es mit Tiny Sprite?"

[So…how are things going with Tiny Sprite?]

Kommissar's eyes widened for a second, clearly not expecting that question, before she shifted her gaze away. Messing with the hairs on her neck, Kommissar shrugged as she answered.

"Ehrlich gesagt, sie gehen nicht wirklich irgendwo hin."

[Honestly, they aren't really going anywhere.]

Pieter stared at Kommissar in disbelief as Kommissar gestured in defense.

"Ich meine es ernst! Wir waren alle wirklich beschäftigt, in den letzten Monaten und Du weißt so gut wie ich, dass unsere Zeitpläne nicht immer mit dem von ihr zusammen passten. Ok wir haben miteinander gesprochen, typischerweise über Arbeit, aber nichts wirklich anderes. Etwas kommt immer dazwischen..."

[I'm being serious! We've all been really busy these past few months and you know as well as I do that our schedules don't always line up with hers. I mean, we have talked, typically about work, but nothing really else. Something always comes up in a way…]

Pieter hopped over the back of the couch, landing next to Kommissar.

"Ach komm, Ihr beiden teilt Euch einen Raum!"

[Oh, come on, you guys are sharing a room!]

Kommissar sighed as she leaned back.

[Doesn't change the fact we're busy. She's really starting to feel the pressures of the album; I don't know how many nights she's been up, working on another arrangement. We've rarely gone to bed at the same time, let alone wake up at the same time. Most times one of us is apologizing to the other for waking them up as we try to get ready or crawl into bed.]

Pieter frowned at the thought, but curiously looked at Kommissar as she fiddled with her hands, a soft smile spreading across her features.

"Aber... die wenigen Interaktionen, die wir hatten, waren ... aufschlussreich. Wir haben zusammen Zeit damit verbracht, ihre Arrangements zu überprüfen, über unsere frühen Fotoshootings zu gehen und sogar die Morgenroutinen der anderen zu kritisieren. Ich lerne mehr über ihre Macken, Vorlieben und Abneigungen und es reizt mich einfach, sie noch mehr zu necken; Erröten passt wirklich zu ihr."

[Still…the few interactions we have had have been…enlightening. We've spent moments reviewing her arrangements, going over our early photoshoots, and even critiquing each other's' morning routines. I learn more about her quirks, likes, and dislikes and it just makes me want to tease her more; blushing really suits her.]

The two shared a laugh at that.

"Nun, ich bin froh, dass Ihr Euch ein wenig näher gekommen seid,"started Pieter, as he looked seriously at Kommissar. "Aber vielleicht solltest Du versuchen, sie an diesem Wochenende auszuführen? Ich meine, sie hat deutlich gemacht, dass sie Single und-"

[Well, I'm glad that you've gotten a bit closer, started Pieter, as he looked seriously at Kommissar. But maybe you should try taking her out this weekend? I mean, she has made it clear she's single and-]

"Ich will sie nicht in irgendetwas drängen, wofür sie nicht bereit ist, Pieter," interrupted Kommissar. "Was vorher passiert ist ... öffnet einige Türen, aber weder weiß ich, wie lange sie schon Single ist, noch ob sie gerade wirklich nach einer Beziehung sucht. Flirten ist eine Sache, Dating ist eine andere..."

[I don't want to push her into anything she's not ready for, Pieter, interrupted Kommissar. What happened before…does open some doors, but I don't know how long she's been single, nor if she's really looking for a relationship right now. Flirting is one thing, dating is another…]

Pieter looked at Kommissar before standing up with a sigh.

"Du wirst es nie wissen, wenn du es nicht versuchst, Kommissar," said Pieter as he walked over to the stairs, Kommissar following him with her eyes. "Ich glaube nicht, dass sie dir von ihrem Beziehungsstatus erzählt hätte, wenn sie sich nicht wohl damit fühlen würde, etwas mit Dir zu beginnen; und bevor Du widersprichst, ich weiß, dass Du nicht blind bist. Du hast gesehen, wie sie Dich angeschaut hat; Du schaust sie mit den gleichen Augen an.

[You'll never know if you don't try, Kommissar, said Pieter as he walked over to the stairs, Kommissar following him with her eyes. I don't think she would've told you about her relationship status if she wasn't comfortable with possibly starting something with you; and before you object, I know you're not blind. You've seen how she's looked at you; you look at her with those same eyes.]

Pieter paused at the foot of the stairs.

"Du musst nur bereit sein, die Chance zu ergreifen."

[You just got to be willing to take the chance.]

Cologne, Germany: DSM House, 11:47pm

Beca sighed as she trudged up the stairs, exhausting setting into her bones as she finally returned from the latest production session. Despite majority of the album being complied with previous compositions, the company insisted on reviewing all the tracks and adding in new elements to modernize them if possible. The additions were proving to be more challenging than expected; how do you improve something that's so loved and already near perfect?

You don't, thought Beca, but maybe I could add in some additional rifts…change the bass line…

Beca cracked her neck as she approached the master suite, shaking her head to rid thoughts of work; it was break time.

And it's about time. No schedules, appointments, last minute sessions; just some time to relax and enjoy the silence.

Placing her hand on the handle to the master suite, Beca paused as she thought of what was waiting on the other side of the door; or rather who was on the other side. To be honest, Beca has been thinking about this for a while; she knew that Kommissar was staying for the weekend, thanks to some passing conversations, but wasn't sure if this could mean a turning point in their relationship. For the past few months, the two of them have been getting closer, though it didn't seem like it was going anywhere past flirting.

I mean, I'm glad nothing started right away…maybe trying to hard back then…but…I thought something would've happened by now…

Taking in a deep breath, Beca pushed open the door, her eyes cast down as she entered. Steeling herself, Beca looked up, half expecting to see Kommissar's sleeping form as she's done so many nights before but was surprised to see the older woman propped against the bed frame, a book in her lap. As their eyes met, Beca's breath hitched as Kommissar's voice reached her ears.

"Hey Beca, can we talk?"

A/N: And ANOTHER cliffhanger! Now wait another year, hahaha (I'm just kidding). Thank you so much for supporting this story and I'm trying guys, I really am. Please leave comments and suggestions; I apologize for how short this is, but I felt this was a better place to stop than what I originally planned to do. I'm hoping to get the next chapter out in the next couple weeks; I am revived! Once again, please review! Spread the word!

P.S. I'm not 100% sure what other language I'll have Kommissar show off (she can speak eight after all), but I have received suggestions; as such, if you know any of the reviewed language suggestions or have a language you'd like to see Kommissar show off, and are willing to help me with the translation, please PM me! Lots of thanks and hearts!
