A/N: A little miniature series of crazy dreams. Look forward to the rest of the gang's crazy dreams.
Mimi wasn't sure how she'd ended up on this date with Davis. No matter how hard she thought back her mind just wouldn't give her the answers she wanted. Davis was definitely not her usual type and it was weird thinking of him as her date. (Didn't he have a thing for Kari anyways?)
She looked over at him in wonder. He was dressed to the nines - black slacks, a white button-up shirt, with a grey vest over top (she would have voted Davis as the winner of "Least Likely to Own a Vest" but gods it looked good on him). His normally wild hair was shorter than it used to be and his head tilted just a smudge to the left.
"Meems? You okay?" (Oh no, he sounded so concerned and it was endearing). "Huh? Oh of course. Why wouldn't I be?" Mimi laughed it off. (Of course I'm not okay. When did we start dating?) "Dating?" Davis laughed, "Oh Meems, you didn't forget our wedding did you?"
(Oh god, I said it out loud. WAIT! WEDDING?!) She stared in shock at Davis. No doubt with her jaw on the table, looking incredibly unattractive. Davis just laughed as though it was completely normal for her to have forgotten that they were married. She jumped out of her seat, "We are NOT married. No way! No how!" She started running out of the restaurant.
At least she thought she had. The door opened and right in her face was Davis sitting at the table once again. Smiling at her, so lovingly. She ran past him, opening the door once again, only to be met with the same exact scene. She screamed.
"MIMI! WAKE UP!"
Mimi shot up out of bed, knocking Palmon to the floor. "NO!" Mimi huffed as she realized she was in her bedroom. "Oh, thank god it was just a dream." Palmon climbed back onto the bed, "What was just a dream, Mimi?"
"That I was married to Davis, of all people!"
Palmon laughed. "That's silly Mimi." Mimi sat there for a moment, watching Palmon laugh before she joined in.
That definitely would be silly. Her and Davis? Ha, no way. Right?
