To say that Alastor was an enigma would be quite the understatement.

On the outside, the 'Radio Demon', as most called him, was quite the gentleman. A respectable and surprisingly well mannered demon that just so happened to be one of the most notorious Overlords of Hell. Of course, being the guy's escort did teach Mika a thing or two about the guy and his mannerisms… and before long, he figured out why he was as notorious as Barbatos said he was.

Mika was quick to learn that Alastor was not just powerful, but also incredibly cunning. Though he possessed enough magical power to rival a handful of Hellborn Overlords, at times even surpassing some of the best of the best (Lucifer aside), Alastor hid his prowess behind a carefully crafted layer of deceit. His gentlemanly nature was nothing more than a simple mask to hide his true self, and while others were tricked by it, especially the one that Alastor enjoyed referring to as Velvet, Mika found himself seeing right through it. That was a perk of being a child soldier that regularly worked with people that were similar to Alastor while he was still alive, he supposed.

Due to their new long distance work relationship, Barbatos found it prudent to give Mika what was charitably called a Hellphone, a touchscreen mobile phone that had a name that even Mika groaned at. The phone itself was pretty neat, though Mika did question why there was an entire folder of porn at one point. He was quick to get rid of it for more storage space, however, and aside from the folders of questionable fetishes, Mika only really cared about the contact page, which had only Barbatos' contact at the moment. For whatever reason Alastor didn't have a phone, though Mika never bothered to bring the subject up.

True to his word, traveling with Alastor was certainly not dull. Far from it, really. Seeing as how he was an Overlord, Alastor was on the shitlist of quite a bothersome bunch of wankers, to say the least, and the fact that he enjoyed travelling around Hell was certainly not helping anything. Other Overlords no doubt wished to have his head served to them on a platter, and a select few would probably enjoy consuming it! At first, Mika had assumed that Alastor needed an escort like himself to keep himself safe… though after the Radio Demon had dealt with a handful of goons sent by some Vox fella with relative ease, Mika began thinking otherwise.

"I only hired you because you provide better entertainment than I can provide myself, Mikazuki Augus! Variety is the spice of life, as they say!" reasoned Alastor after Mika questioned why he was even brought along on the Radio Demon's wild trip across Hell. The Pilot was not paid enough to put up with this, but even so, a client was a client he supposed…

And besides, Mika would at least admit that working with Alastor offered up jobs with more variety than the usual stuff he'd have to do for Barbatos.

After leaving Barbatos' palace

It became rather obvious to Mika that Alastor was an old fashion sorta guy not too long after they departed.

The way he walked, talked and even stood was extremely… foreign to Mika, to say the least. The Radio Demon carried himself with an air of confidence in spite of his somewhat goofy getup and wide smile that was always present on his face, with the aforementioned smile of his having the potential to be rather comical… though it was still unnerving to Augus, so much so that he preferred to avoid making eye contact with the guy as much as possible.

"Is something wrong, my murderous little gremlin?" inquired Alastor when he began noticing how the Pilot was deliberately avoiding eye contact with him, prompting him to lean towards Mika and widen his toothy smile. In response, Mika glanced at him and deepened his frown, a rather stark contrast to Alastor's wide grin, prompting the Radio Demon to straighten himself out and put a hand to his chest as he laughed, sending a mild shiver up the pilot's spine all the while. He would eventually get used to that laugh and smile, but as of now, it still unnerved him. "What's the matter? Did a Hellhound rip your throat out or something? If so then you may need to get that checked out!"

"No," was Mika's response as he flexed his Lupus Rex hand, his frown somehow managing to grow deeper as he spoke. "My throat is still here.

"But I'm not sure if I'm safe from the Hellhound just yet."

Three days after leaving

Mika's first phone call came during a walk around Damnation Peak, where Alastor wished to hail a cab or something to get to Pentagram City, which from what Mika knew seemed to be the capital of Hell. Not because it was noteworthy or anything, but more because it was conveniently smack dab at the center of Hell.

Conveniently enough, the target, or in this case the location that Barbatos wished for Mika to tear down, was located in Damnation Peak as well, and he had sent the request to Augus before they could board the cab. Similarly, much to Alastor's delight, the warehouse Barbatos wished to be torn down was owned by a fellow Overlord known as Vox. Mika didn't exactly know who he was and why Alastor was as ecstatic as he was for him being tasked to destroy his property, so Barbatos was quick to tell him the basics on the guy. As for Alastor's relationship with Vox, it was left to Mika's imagination.

"Basically he's a guy who has a TV for a head and can control tech, capiche? Anyways just destroy the damn building. Oh, and please don't look in the crates," was the brief explanation on his latest job offered by Barbatos before he hung up, much to Mika's chagrin as he pocketed his Hellphone. Behind him, Alastor's smile grew in size as he watched Mika sigh and turn towards him.

"So, my little fellow, you were assigned to tear down one of Vox's warehouses, hm?" inquired Alastor with a cheeky grin, prompting Mika to raise his brows in apparent surprise. Alastor, on the other hand, held back a snicker as he explained himself. "You were speaking with the Speaker on."

"...oh," was all Mika could mutter out as Alastor laughed at his expense, though before long Mika was on his way to tear down this warehouse, with Alastor trailing him, humming eagerly all the while. He was quite eager to see the look on Vox's face when he realized that one of his many warehouses was torn down. Sure, it probably wouldn't do much to the aforementioned Overlord in the long run, but he'd definitely be mildly demoralized when he realized a Sinner had fucked him up in such a way.

Some time later

Alastor knew that he was a killer from the start , especially after having bore witness to the aftermath of a handful of massacres he had committed prior to now. To see him in action, however… it made the Radio Demon realize that he had severely underestimated Mikazuki's skillset.

Though of course, he had chosen to keep his mouth shut for the time being as he observed Mikazuki from the shadows, with his body blending into the darker recesses of the warehouse as he watched the former pilot crouch behind a sizable stack of crates, pistol in one hand and golden claws flexed out in the other. Mere moments prior, the pilot, with Alastor observing from various dark recesses of the warehouse, had infiltrated the target location, where they were met with no less than seven low ranking Demons defending the site.

In less than two minutes, four of them were taken out of the picture, and though he had the upper hand in regards to skill, Mikazuki's advantage had taken a nosedive when the remaining three demons retrieved magically charged Tommyguns from a random crate in the warehouse. The pilot wisely chose to retreat at that point as he avoided their gunfire, and though he did get clipped by a handful of the magically enhanced blasts, he wasn't injured severely enough to warrant a retreat.

"GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE, BITCH!" proclaimed one of the goons present as he kept firing upon the crate that Mika hid behind, eliciting a sigh from him as he removed the clip from his pistol. Staring into it absentmindedly, the pilot grimaced when he saw that he was out of for now ammo, though he had more important things to worry about for now as he perked his ears up and listened for his chance to act. Alastor simply watched on in confusion as the pilot sat by in silence, seemingly accepting his fate all the while. What was he planning, thought the Radio Demon…

The Strawberry Pimp would soon get his answer when the Tommyguns used by the three goons ran out of ammo, giving out a trio of clicks in near perfect sync. Thereafter, they swiftly reloaded and took aim once more, with them expecting the former pilot to take advantage of their ammo problem all the while. When he did no such thing, however, the apparent leader of the three remaining demons, a guy with a single robotic cyclops eye, motioned for his subordinates to step forwards and investigate the crate Augus was once hiding behind.

Of the two, only one with four eyes, three mechanical and one organic, took the initiative and stepped forwards, with the other, a guy with no eyes whatsoever on his flat, lens-shaped head, following closely behind him, flanked by their apparent leader shortly thereafter. All three kept their Tommyguns at the ready as they closed in on where Mika was assumed to be hiding at… and once they were close enough to it, the Four-Eyed Demon jolted forwards and aimed his Tommygun at where they thought the pilot was at…

… only to see that he was not there. Widening his eyes in shock, the Four-Eyed Demon flinched as his compatriots peeked past the crate and stared down at the lack-of-pilot behind it. Backing away from it, the trio began to look around nervously as they silently wondered where Mikazuki could be at, with none of them taking note of Alastor's smiling silhouette in the background, glancing up into the ceiling with anticipation.

Rather abruptly, something dropped from the ceiling and landed atop one of the demons, the Lens-Headed Demon, heads. It was something rather heavy, to say the least, and upon recovering from the initial impact, he glanced down to have a look at what just dropped on him… only to see that it was an empty pistol clip. His optic widened in shock when he saw this as he swiftly turned his attention up towards the ceiling in a panic, and before long, he gasped as he saw Mikazuki clinging onto one of the rafters on the ceiling.

Upon noticing his presence up top, the demon made an attempt to aim his Tommygun and fire at the pilot, though before his finger could press down fully onto the trigger, Mikazuki released his grip on the rafter and took aim with his pistol. The shot that was subsequently released went straight through the Lense-Head Demon's optic and emerged from the back of his skull, killing him almost instantly all the while. The other two took note of this almost immediately, with them turning on their heels to aim their weapons as they watched their fellow demon go down hard.

Before they could open fire, however, Mikazuki grabbed onto the demon he had just headshotted and made use of his limp body as a makeshift shield. The bullets that came at him were mostly absorbed by the dead demon's corpse, though after several shots were let loose, Augus grimaced and threw the body at them. The two demons gasped as they watched the limp body of their compatriot soar towards them as they raised their arms up to brace themselves for the impact, though before it could even hit them, Mika, in a split second decision, took aim with his pistol and fired two rounds through the dead demon's airborne body.

And, by some ungodly miracle, both bullets managed to rip straight through the dead demon's body and puncture the skulls of the remaining two demons, killing them before their compatriot's body could even make contact with them, and not even a moment later, all three corpses fell to the ground with an audible thud as Mikazuki scoffed and holstered his pistol.

"Bravo, Mikazuki Augus! Bra-Vo!" praised Alastor as he emerged from the shadows, ignoring the look Mika was giving him as he stepped over the corpses of the murdered Vox goons. He offered the goon who was used as a meat shield a quick glance before fixing his gaze squarely on Augus, who was cleaning some of the blood off his Tekkadan jacket as he continued to speak. "You really were quite a crafty little bastard back there, I'll admit! To make use of something as trivial as the lack of light in the area to your advantage? Truly outrageous! Good show, I say! Good show!"

Mika didn't have any real response to that outside of a mild nod of his head to show his 'appreciation' towards Alastor's words as he reached behind his back and pulled out a handful of remote detonated charges. The Radio Demon raised a brow when he saw them, though he didn't question how Mika got them or why he even had them on his person at the moment as he watched the Pilot plant the charges onto every corner of the building.

In truth, Mika got them from I.M.P. That company seemed to like him quite a bit, and for the most part they seemed to run into each other quite often, with them working on various cases together whenever the situation called for it.

Regardless of his strange working relationship with that murder company, as soon as he set the explosives up, and after they left the warehouse and got some distance away from it (five miles, just to be safe), Mika decided to let Alastor have the honor of detonate the explosive charges thanks to his strange vendetta against Vox. The Radio Demon did seem flattered to have 'such an honor', as he put it, and he wasted no time in pushing down on the button…

… and several seconds later, long enough to make Mika wonder if the charges were malfunctioning, the warehouse exploded in the distance, with the ensuing shockwave being enough to ruffle up their hair and blind them for a handful of seconds, even though they were standing so far away from the epicenter of the blast. Mika himself had to shield his eyes with his Lupus Rex arm to keep himself from going permanently blind whilst Alastor simply watched the explosion with a gleeful expression.

"My word, that is quite the crack!" proclaimed Alastor as he witnessed the mushroom cloud rising in the air. Meanwhile, Mika lowered his Lupus Rex arm as the light began dying down and raised a brow at the size of the explosion.

'What exactly did I.M.P give me…?' was all he thought as he began wondering if I.M.P had accidentally given him a miniature nuke.

But ah well… it got the job done so who cares. The radiation was something that the Sinners of Damnation Peak could handle… probably.

Five days after leaving

'350 years ago, an event occurred where the fuckers on Earth decided to create these things called Mobile Armours, some mechs with AI or something. Why? Well fuck if I know! What I do know is that they killed a lot of people!"

As he read that, Alastor took a sip of what one would hope to be coffee, ignoring the screaming in the background as he sat inside a cafe located in Pentagram City. Of course, he did spare a quick glance outside the cafe just in time to see Mikazuki get thrown straight past the cafe window, though Alastor shrugged nonchalantly at that as he turned back to his book.

'These Mobile Armours killed roughly one third of humanity, which makes me question why the fuckers even gave em AI! They have these Graze thingamajigs! Use em, for crying out loud! Aurg. But overall, this did contribute a ton to the overpopulation crisis in Hell…'

Licking his thumb, Alastor gingerly flipped to the next page as, outside, a muscular looking reptile demon attempted to slam his fist down onto Mika, who dodged to the side before lunging forwards to give the reptile a headbutt, causing it to stagger back and allowing Mika to fire at it thrice with his pistol. Due to its scales, however, the bullets were not able to pierce his target's chest. After he realized that conventional bullets wouldn't do much, much to his chagrin.

'Of course on the upside, humans did create these kickass mecha to counter the Mobile Armour threat. Called Gundams, there were only 72 made, all named after the 72 Demons of Ars Goetia, ironically enough. Coincidental, but fuck it. They're awesome enough to warrant the names."

As he read that paragraph, Alastor raised a brow as Mika was thrown into the cafe he was in through the glass window. The pilot was just about to crash into Alastor, though before he could the Radio Demon held his hand up and stopped Mika mid-flight with some demon magic. With a flick of his wrist, Alastor reorientated Mika rightside-up and placed him back down onto the ground, eliciting an eye twitch from the pilot all the while.

"Though your escapees are usually amusing to me, may I urge you to keep this one in particular outside, Mikazuki Augus. I wish to enjoy reading this book without any outside interference," requested Alastor as Mikazuki felt one of his brows twitch. Right at that moment, the reptilian demon attempted to make use of Mika's confusion and pounce onto him through the shattered window, though before he could do so, Alastor snapped his fingers, creating a portal that allowed a tentacle to burst out and wrap around the demon's waist within a moment's notice. Without much effort, the tentacle tossed the reptilian demon back out of the cafe, with Mika raising a brow at that all the while. It would've been nice if he would actively help him out… but it could be worse. "Go on now, toodle loo."

And with that, Mikazuki, after giving out an exasperated sigh, leapt out of the shattered window and continued his little brawl with this reptilian opponent. Alastor, as per usual, tuned out the noise as he continued reading, with him this time playing some classical music from god knows where to tune out the noise more effectively.

'So there's this white one, Barbatos. It fought alongside Flauros and Gusion on Mars near the end of that Calamity War, as most people call this event. Flauros was apparently destroyed during this event, but fuck if I care. As for Barbs and Gusi, well I don't fuckin know.'

Smiling wider as he took another sip, Alastor perked his ears up a little when he heard the sound of metal hitting the pavement. Out of curiosity, he turned to see that the reptilian demon had apparently tossed a car at Mika, as evident by how a vehicle was currently overturned on the ground close to Augus. The pilot was able to dodge it, though the car did begin leaking some oil as it laid upside down.

The reptilian demon didn't seem to notice this, as he attempted to strike Mika with both its fists. Mika responded by dodging to the side and delivering a quick kick to its head, slashing into its neck with his golden claws in the process. The demon flinched a little at that, and before it could recover, Mika glanced over at the oil leaking from the busted vehicle and raised a brow… only to nearly smirk as he got an idea, prompting him to rub the fingers of his Lupus Rex arm together with enough strength to cause a few sparks to be emitted.

'Quite recently, the Barbatos was rediscovered by some kid. Dunno how, and frankly I don't care. As long as it stops overpopulating the damn place then I'll be fine with it.'

And at that, the Radio Demon bookmarked that page in particular as he heard an explosion go off in the background. After he shut the book, Alastor smiled widely as he watched Mika enter the cafe through the front door, apparently having enough decency to not enter through the broken window, seeming just a little irritated as he stepped in.

"Nicely done, Mikazuki!" congratulated Alastor as he stood up. In response, Mika simply snorted as Alastor offered Mika an extra cup of whatever he was drinking. Mika took a sniff of the cup's contents before making a disgusted face and rejecting the offer, prompting Al' to shrug and nonchalantly drink from the extra cup."More for myself I suppose."

Augus pointedly decided to make an effort to not ask what he was drinking.

One week after leaving

Alastor, simply put, enjoyed old records. It reminded him of the good ol' days, back when he still operated his old radio station as a normal, outgoing human.

Of course, his old life and occupation was inevitably thrown down the drain after he became a man-eating monster, though that was an irrelevant topic, he thought, as he walked down the streets of Hellwalker's Creek alongside his escort. Mikazuki said nothing the whole way through as he stared down into the murky depths of the aforementioned creek, and admittedly, the Radio Demon found it tempting to push him down into the water just for some laughs.

He ultimately decided against it, as he figured that it would be better to keep him around rather than leave him to be stuck down there for all eternity. And besides, the hellish screams of those forever trapped in the creek served as good enough entertainment for him anyways.

"Hell is weird," commented Mika as he stared out into the endless ocean that made up Hellwalker's Creek, eliciting a chuckle from Alastor as he spoke. His laughter was backed up by a small amount of static as he nodded in apparent agreement.

"It certainly is, my little suicide bomber, but it certainly does have its charm! I myself find this spot in particular to be particularly enticing!" responded Alastor enthusiastically as he held an index finger up pointedly, eliciting a raised brow from his escort all the while. It was a nonverbal request to explain himself, though he did no such thing, with him only responding with a larger than usual grin as he stared down into the abyss.

And staring right back at him were the faces of several particularly deformed and mangled demons. Flesh peeled off their faces and bite marks were apparent on their bodies, and when they saw Alastor, they reached out to him and screamed with much more intensity.

For his part, the Radio Demon's smile simply grew in size as he closed his eyes and hummed alongside their agonized screams of rage, with him finding it to be a suitable substitute to every record he once owned.

Two weeks after leaving

What a strange request this was.

Typically, Barbatos would ask for Mika to kill or destroy a certain person or structure, so for him to ask him to meet up with an apparently important figure of Hell came as quite a surprise to him. Even more surprising was when he had asked him to meet up with a family of Overlords, namely the Von Eldritch family and hand them an envelope he had mailed to him a handful of days prior.

Mikazuki did, at the very least, recognise that family name. It floated around from time to time, often uttered by various demons in the same vein as the Morningstar Family, which Mikazuki remembered to be Lucifer and Lilith's, the King and Queen of Hell, family name. To have a family name be muttered with nearly or just as much reverence as the Morningstars would usually call for at least some respect towards the aforementioned family, though frankly speaking, Mika couldn't give much less of a damn. A royal family in Hell would never be superior to Tekkadan in his eyes, after all.

"I must say, to even be told to meet anyone from the Von Eldritch family is quite an honor… for someone like yourself at least. I personally have met the current head of the family too many times to count, so meeting them in person once more is simply a nuisance," quipt Alastor as Mika and himself stood by the front door to the aforementioned family's palace, a massive, dark purple and teal castle that seemed to be roughly thrice the size of Barbatos'. Just goes to show the power difference between an Overlord and Goetial Demon, he supposed…

"I only know them by name," admitted Mika as he slammed his Lupus Rex fist up against the wooden door of the palace once more, with his irritation growing as time went by. The two had been standing outside for roughly five minutes by now, and no one had come to even check up on them! Thankfully enough, Alastor found it at least appropriate to give Augus a quick history lesson on the von Eldritch family. Or at the very least… his microphone cane did.

"The Von Eldritch family are among the older Hellborn families. They're a few millenia behind the Morningstars, sure, but they're close enough to be noteworthy!" explained the microphone cane enthusiastically as Alastor held it close to Mika's ear to make sure he was processing all that information. "If anything, they're roughly on par with the Morningstars in terms of strength, but the current head of the family is not charismatic or popular enough to overthrow good ol' Luci!"

"...right," muttered Mika, and right at that moment, the door to the Von Eldritch palace opened just a little inwards, prompting the pilot and Overlord to turn towards it and spot an octopus looking demon peeking out at them with a curious expression. The octopus wore a butler's uniform, with four arms poking from the sleeves while the other four acted as legs. On its goofy looking head were a pair of… shockingly normal looking eyes, though there was no mouth or nose to speak of.

"Visiting hours were never a thing, scram," growled the demon as he moved to shut the door, only to be stopped when Mika jammed his metal foot between the cracks of the door. The octopus demon's brows lowered in apparent irritation as he glared at Mika, who remained as neutral as he usually was. "Hey pipsqueak, it's best if you-"

"Barbatos sent us," explained Mika as Alastor smirked at the butler's reaction, especially when the pilot pulled out a card that showed that he was indeed the Duke's official assistant, and before long, the octopus demon grumbled and begrudgingly opened the door fully.

"I see. Lady Von Eldritch has been expecting Barbatos to show up in person, but I suppose a servant will suffice for now," stated the demon in a shockingly professional tone, perhaps an attempt to hide his previous rudeness as, despite Barbatos being a Goetial Demon, he could still ask for his immediate death in an instant. Mika raised a brow at that while Alastor smirked at the octopus demon, who quite clearly didn't find his presence welcomed at all. "As for the Radio Demon…"

"I shall be joining my little escort over here!" stated Alastor as he patted Mika over the head, cutting the butler right off as he spoke. Knowing that he couldn't beat the Radio Demon in either a battle of strength or whits, the octopus opted to turn his attention to the Sinner in the room, to which Mikazuki shrugged dismissively, prompting Alastor to chuckle a little as he held his hand up to his monocle rather sinisterly. "Don't worry, my spiffy little doorman! I have no intention of bringing harm upon Helsa! She isn't even worth killing at this point!"

At that, the octopus demon sighed. He wasn't paid enough for this… definitely not enough to worry about some Overlord's daughter, so with a nod, he stepped aside and allowed both Alastor and Mika to enter.

"Whatever you say, Radio Remon," growled the octopus demon as Mika and Alastor entered the palace grounds. The butler then shut the main door before rushing off to retrieve 'Lady Von Eldritch', leaving Mika and Alastor behind in the main hall of the Von Eldritch palace for quite some time. The aforementioned location hall wasn't exactly noteworthy, with it being coloured primarily in navy blue and… hot pink? Mika didn't think that any Overlord worth their salt would use such a colour, but he couldn't complain, he supposed. After all, a good friend did love that colour, and seeing all this pink made him feel rather nostalgic...

In an attempt to keep boredom away, Alastor busied himself by staring at various pictures that hung all around the main hall of the palace, with Mika by his side all the while. The pilot didn't have any real opinion on most of the images hung up on the walls, considering how they were simply family portraits that were too professional looking for his liking… though he did take note of one with seven demons in frame.

Augus recognised two of the seven demons present in the image as Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar, the rulers of Hell… and if he wasn't told about that beforehand, he probably wouldn't have believed it. Lucifer looked properly ridiculous in that white suit and apple themed wardrobe of his, and while Lilith did seem rather professional, more so than her husband, she definitely didn't have the appearance of a Queen, more so a celebrity than monarch.

The other five demons present were unknown to Mika, though it was clear to him that four of the five were the Von Eldritch family. Their unifying colour scheme and attire gave it away. As for the final person in the image, however… Mikazuki couldn't help but feel a little off about her as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

There was no doubt in his mind that the last person was related to Lucifer and Lilith in some way, especially when he took into account her physical appearance. What was her name again… Charlie? Probably not, but regardless, though she was dressed in a similar attire to her mother, there was something about her that differentiated her from her parents. She didn't have the proud, somewhat pompous aura that her father exuded, and likewise, she didn't have the aura of royal authority that her mother had around her either.

Simply put, she seemed… normal. Like a normal person, so to speak, and not the offspring of the Rulers of Hell… and that in itself piqued his interest in her. How could someone supposedly born in the birthplace of sin… exuded an aura of purity this intense? Via a picture, no less! Maybe he could ask Barbatos about her later…

"I always did think that Lucifer was trying to shag my style," quipt Alastor as he observed the portrait, smiling as he rubbed his chin and snapping Augus out of his thoughts all the while. Turning towards him, Mika gave Alastor a dumbfounded look while the Radio Demon lifted his hand up to eye level and clenched it in apparent anger, even if his smile remained. "It's oh-so obvious! The smile! The accursed smile! That classless Overlord wishes to mirror mine so badly that he refuses to stop smiling!"

"... right," was all Mika bothered to say at that point as he gave the Strawberry Pimp a deadpanned look, though before long, it faded away as he perked his ears up when he heard the sound of encroaching footsteps. Upon noticing this, he turned towards the source and raised a brow when he saw someone approaching them.

The first thing Mika noticed about the person, a female demon, was her absurdly long and thick white hair, almost like tentacles. It was long enough to put Kudelia to shame, and strangely enough, it seemed to be able to move on its own as well, though he attributed that to its tentacle-like nature. He also took note of the approaching demon's oddly grey skin, and likewise, something that seemed to be a recurring trend with Overlords, if Alastor was anything to go by.

Upon stepping in, the Overlord scanned the room swiftly before her eyes inevitably fell upon Mikazuki and Alastor. Raising a brow at the Radio Demon's presence, the young (by Hell's standards) Hellborn felt her eyelid twitch a little as she exhaled sharply and shook her head, though she quickly got over her initial surprise as she approached Augus with an air of confidence that was, in a way, incredibly appropriate for someone of her status.

For his part, Mikazuki didn't even care about any of that as he kept his deadpanned expression on him as she drew closer, with Alastor grinning widely in the background as he watched this trainwreck unfold before him.

"You must be the inbred that Barbatos sent over, huh?" began the demoness, sizing Mikazuki up as she spoke. Augus said nothing as he nodded in confirmation, with him acknowledging how the demoness was clearly making an attempt to intimidate him, not only with her status as an Overlord, but also with more straightforward intimidation tactics. It would've been effective were it not for the fact that the pilot has experienced much worse in the past. "Hmph, well, at least one of his brats has a spine."

"Oh, let me tell you, Helsa my girl! This little armstrong fella has got much more than a spine on him!" stated Alastor out of the blue, with him leaning towards Mikazuki and resting his elbow atop his head all the while. Augus remained silent as this happened, with him knowing better than to try and force him off at this point as he sighed to himself and watched as the Radio Demon sang him false praises. "He's quite a theatre man himself, though his pizazz could use some work! He's all substance but no style, but sometimes, I suppose that's for the best!"

"Right… and tell me, Radio Demon, why are you here?" asked the demoness, Helsa Von Eldritch, as the eyed Alastor pensively. As she did so, a magical aura began surrounding her body as she flared her powers just enough to show that she wasn't exactly in the mood for his usual theatrics, and in response to this, Alastor, despite being way out of his depth here in terms of strength, simply laughed her question off as he pushed himself off Mikazuki's head, much to his relief, and adjusted his monocle casually.

"I've struck a deal with our shared accomplice, Barbatos, you see! I get to have this little devil of an idiot by my side as I travel around Hell, and in return, he provides me with entertainment that I can scarcely provide myself!" announced Alastor cheerfully as he motioned towards the aforementioned 'devil of an idiot', who simply gave him the side eye before glancing back at Helsa, who was pinching her (nonexistent) nose in exasperation as she processed his words.

"Yeah, that does sound like something an idiot like you would do," groaned Helsa as she shook her head in irritation, though she recovered from that state rather quickly as she sighed and glanced down at Mikazuki. Admittedly, she was impressed by how he was holding his own against her, especially when one considered how the Von Eldritch family were incredibly notorious demons, to the point where even most Hellborns would tremble at the mention of their name.

It was probably best to not tell her that Mikazuki knew barely anything about them other than the fact that their family was old. And even if he did know more, he probably wouldn't have cared.

"Either way, I believe you have something for me," groaned Helsa as she brought a spindly hand out towards Mika, who simply reached into his Tekkadan jacket and pulled out an envelope. The golden claws of his Lupus Rex hand scratched it a little, though outside of that, it remained mostly intact as he handed it off to the Von Eldritch heiress, who used some of her hair, which had sharpened and stiffened itself into a pseudo-blade, to slice it open. Reaching into it, she pulled out its contents before grinning. "Very good. Least that Duke knows when to return the favour on occasion. You're both dismissed."

"Hm," hummed Mikazuki with a nod, and at that, he turned on his heel to leave the premises, not even bothering to give the demoness a second glance all the while. As he opened the door to leave, Helsa found herself shuddering a little as she crossed her arms, and as she did so, Alastor chuckled to himself as he adjusted his monocle in a rather sinister manner.

"Tell me, Radio Demon," began Helsa as soon as Mikazuki left the premises, with her keeping her voice hushed as she spoke. Glancing over at her, the aforementioned demon in red simply smiled as he listened to her speak, with him taking no small amount of pleasure in her uncertain tone of voice all the while. "This… Sinner, Servant of Barbatos, whatever… did you take an interest in him because of his entertainment value… or-"

"That is for me to know and you to find out, my dear Von Eldritch!" cut Alastor off as he smiled and waved farewell to the demoness, who grimaced at his rudeness, though she chose not to comment on it as she watched him walk on after his escort whilst twirling his microphone cane in his hand. She stood there in silence as she watched him shut the door gently, a small act of gentlemanly care she reckoned, and once he was gone, she brought a hand up to her chin and began to wonder…

How was a simple, nondescript Sinner like Mikazuki Augus radiating so much demonic energy…?

Two weeks and three days after leaving

"So… this is your home?"

Mikazuki's inquiry was met with a mild kerfuffle from Alastor as he grinned and motioned for the former pilot to enter a rather quaint building. Said building was rather small, especially by Overlord standards, though that wasn't to say that it wasn't imposing. Its red exterior was certainly a rather noticeable feature, and even in Hell, where most things were red, this crimson structure stood out amongst most of them, more so because of the Hellish aura surrounding it.

The entrance to this two-floored was a simple set of double doors, with a plaque hanging above it, reading Sanguine Radio Channel. Mika didn't care to figure out what Sanguine meant as he was invited into Alastor's little apartment, and almost immediately, the former pilot had to jump back as his foot was nearly taken off by a bear trap.

"Watch your step now, my little Hatchet Man! We wouldn't want any… accidents occurring now, would we?" joked Alastor as he snapped his fingers, manifesting a portal close to the deactivated beartrap and having a tentacle emerge to remove it from view. Augus said nothing about that as he walked in, allowing Al to close to door behind him.

Frankly speaking, Alastor's little home/radio station was… a lot more quaint than Mikazuki would've ever expected. The walls were, unsurprisingly, red in colour, matching with Alastor's suit, complete with light red lines, and the walls were shockingly clean, something that was very much a welcomed change from the rest of Hell's obscenely dirty landscape. The Radio Demon seemed to have expected Augus' surprise, however, as he simply moved behind him and pinched both his cheeks with his clawed hands.

"I must remind you, little moon, that while I am a most vile demon, even I have standards, and my living space shall always be kept up to them!" defended Alastor cheekily as he released the pilot's cheeks, eliciting an annoyed glare from him all the while. "But besides the point, Mikazuki Augus! Though it would be sensational to watch you hunker down in trash bins and rooftops, you'll just get yourself killed like that, so as an act of goodwill, I will be lending you one of the spare rooms in my radio station! It's on the second floor, third room! Now, off you go!"

"... thanks, I guess?" muttered a somewhat surprised Mikazuki as he watched Alastor's grin… soften(?!) a little at his thanks before it sharpened once more, and at that, he went on his way, humming to himself all the while as he entered a soundproof room to work on his radio show. Mikazuki didn't care to peek into it for now as he moved to one of the guest rooms in the radio station, and as he did so, he silently wondered to himself if maybe… just maybe… there was some good left in the Radio Demon.

He doubted it, but even so, there was always some good left in even the darkest of people, and though it was highly unlikely… there was always a chance that the same could be said of Alastor as well.

2 weeks and five days after leaving, present day

"And where have you been?" growled Mika in irritation as Alastor chuckled his usual melodious chuckle, having returned from wherever he was to come face to face with a rather irritated Mikazuki glaring at him.

While it was… expected for an Overlord like Alastor to leave such battles like this to someone like Mika, it would've been nice if he had stayed behind to help him get rid of that Vox goon with his magic. At the very least, it would've saved him a pistol clip, which was quite an issue for him at the moment as he was running low on them, and unfortunately, I.M.P was not responding to his calls for extra ammo clips at the moment.

"Oh I was just working on your payment," responded Alastor as he held a palm out, confusing the pilot briefly as he holstered his pistol and stared down at the Radio Demon's opened palm. His confusion quickly became shock, and then a small amount of delight, however, when a pack of raisins materialised in the palm of Alastor's hand. Noticing this, the Strawberry Pimp chuckled as he adjusted his monocle, catching Augus' attention in the meantime. "What? You took me for an unreasonable demon? Oh, far from it, you little ratbag! You've provided some of the best entertainment I've bore witness to in the past few centuries of my life, and as such, you deserve at least some sort of compensation for your tireless work!"

This had to be a trick… Mika knew it… and yet if it was, the pilot fell for it hook, line and sinker. With that being said, however, he still kept his guard up as he cautiously took the packet of raisins from Alastor's palm. Looking between it and the Radio Demon, the pilot noticed that guy was staring at him expectantly, and rather reluctantly, he reached into the pack and picked a raisin out. He eyed it closely before sniffing it. Perhaps this was just him being a little too defensive, but prior experience has taught him to not lower his guard around the Radio Demon.

Much to his shock, the raisin smelled rather normal, and almost without a second thought, he tossed it into his mouth and widened his eyes at how… sweet it tasted. Staring up at Alastor, the pilot raised a bewildered brow at him as the Radio Demon chuckled, holding onto his monocle as he spoke.

"I have my ways, little pilot," assured Alastor as he patted Mika over the head, twirling his microphone cane in his hand as he spoke with quite a bit of pizazz. "Consider this motivation for the foreseeable future. I expect more entertainment from you, my dear Gundam!"

And if he were honest… if he could get more of these raisins, he wouldn't mind working for Alastor for just a little while longer…

I edited quite a lot of this!

Wooooo!
