A/N: Good heavens. I'm throwing caution to the wind here, and posting (idk) six chapters? Oh don't worry, I stop at a cliff hanger :) comments make me post more.. js..
~Tea Time~
Clo had taken the shocked trio to her small hut, busying herself with the basket and its contents. There wasn't much in the hut. Provisions to cook with, eat with, and three places to sleep.
"This is where you live?"
The Goddess nodded. "Expecting a castle in the sky?" She grinned at them, before her face turned thoughtful. "It never was easy, living with Atty. So rigid. Her rules and ideas must always be followed, exactly. And Lace, poor thing, always such a free spirit. Those two never really got along, always fighting on Mount Olympus over nothing, trivial things. You think we're here, doing what we do because we want to?"
"I suppose I never thought of it before… I never really believed in the existence of the Gods before a few days ago."
The Goddess sighed. "We're here, because Zeus got fed up with my sisters. This has been our punishment. We were never meant to leave this island, unless he chose to free us, but somehow, both of my sisters…" She shook her head. "It's a terrible thing, always being caught in the middle of their mess. Tea?"
"I don't want to trouble-"
"Nonsense. What did Athena have to say? I do hope she's grown out of that rebellious stage."
Belle told her everything. She saw no reason to lie. Clotho was much less what she had been expecting from a Goddess. She had been humbled, but a lovely hostess who set them all around her tiny table before Graham and Red vanished to try and find a way off the island while Clo busied herself with one thing after another, currently, making tea.
"Aye, sounds like her." Clotho said about Athena. "She took sides when she was younger, it never did end very well. But she was always a favorite daughter of Zeus."
"Can you help us?" Belle asked hopefully.
Clotho paused, just momentarily, while pouring the tea.
"I've no idea how to." She replied in a small voice. "For one, none of us can undo another spell of a Moirai. Not on our own. For another, I don't even know how to leave the island, though I suppose there must be a way, seeing as my sisters managed to leave."
Thank you for reading!
