AC: I also want to thank my Beta-reader FollowerOfAnhamirak for his time on this chapter. I hope you enjoyed it.

Surprisingly, Peyton and Sarah got over the fact that Summer Vale had to be avoided at all cost fast. The M'arrillians were there. Havoc reigned across the city. They were pretty close to it and there was a big chance they would be next.

Still, that wasn't the biggest issue for them. It wasn't themselves they were worried about.

"Dammit!" Sarah growled as she kept messaging Tom. She got nothing in return. At this point, she was already sweating a little from the worry, "You better answer me Tom or you are in big trouble!" She sent another message.

"Maybe they aren't available. You know, they got the message and tried to get away," Peyton replied. He had stopped sending messages to Kaz after four hours.

"They're in danger and the M'arrillians might be after them! You told me that I got coded, and Kaz too! Maybe Kaz doesn't know what is going on. If he doesn't have his scanner-"

Peyton put his hands on her shoulders. "Deeeeep breath Sarah. Just breathe. Because I need to as well.' Following his own suggestion Peyton took a few deep breaths himself. He repeated the process again and sighed, "Do it with me."

Sarah reluctantly did the same. After a few seconds, she felt a little calmer. Panicking wouldn't help. "Yeah. If the M'arrillians are around, they won't risk answering us until they are safe. How long?"

"I don't know, but-" Peyton stopped when his scanner rang. He answered, "Hello… Codemaster Crellan?"

"I have an important message to share with you," the Codemaster replied.

"What is it?" Sarah asked, standing next to Peyton.

"You are here too. This will save us some time," Codemaster Crellan sighed, and continued, "Sarah. Please stay with Peyton. We are about to send help to assure your safety. It will be easier to find you if you are in the same place."

"O-okay. Who is coming?" Sarah asked.

"Four creatures will be porting into your town to assure your safety. We already sent four to watch over Tom and Kaz. We barely had enough energy in the portal for a few more creatures. Stick together and this will allow us to save some time, okay?"

"Okay," they both replied.

"Thank you for your cooperation," Codemaster Crellan said before he ended the call.

"Creatures?" Sarah grumbled, uncertain.

"If M'arrillians showed up, why not some other creatures too," Peyton raised his shoulders a little confused. He stopped when he realised what he said, "Only a few more… creatures."

"Then there is no army from the other tribes coming," she wanted to pull her hair. The teenage girl sighed, "Anyway, we have to wait for them."

"Hope the other four saved them," Peyton commented. He froze once again as he remembered something, "My parents!"

Sarah also realized what would happen, "Dammit. How will we explain that?"

"I dunno!"

Chapter 81: Peyton's Special Visitors

A few minutes later, the two had prepared a way to explain everything to Peyton's parents. Still, without proof, they would think they were losing their minds or something.

"Should we wait until they're here and explain everything or not?" Peyton wasn't certain.

They had a terrible plan of action. Once they had explained things to his parents, they had to do the same with the Sarah's. Overall, it wouldn't be an easy task for both of them.

They were both nervous about telling them everything, especially about when the creatures would show up.

"It will be much harder to convince my parents. They aren't going to just accept creatures like yours. Your parents are way more open-minded than mine."

"Maybe your brother can help you," Peyton suggested, "He went to Chaotic before everything went down. Did he send you a message?"

"No. I think he's still busy at work. Maybe not anymore with that emergency message though, but I'm not sure if he received confirmation that it was the M'arrillians," Sarah replied pensively.

"Anyway. Got nothing from Kaz," Peyton said as he checked his scanner.

"Me neither. This is really getting on my nerve," Sarah put her hand on her forehead and took a few deep breaths to stay calm. She was losing it. The unknown and the many questions were too much. She kept wondering if Tom and Kaz were okay or not? If they were safe or not? Or if they had been captured or not? There would be no answer until they replied. Frankly, if the silence kept going on, odds were that they might already be under the M'arrillians mind control. Right now, all she wanted to do was ask the Codemasters, but they probably wouldn't give her a concrete answer.

The two felt drained by the time they received another message. Opening it, they quickly read it.

They should be at your home soon. They might enter from the backyard.

"Where are your parents right now?" Sarah asked quickly after reading the message.

"I think they're in the basement," Peyton replied.

"Okay. We might have some time to explain everything to the creatures," Sarah replied.

They two left the room and climbed down the stairs. Reaching the bottom, headed towards the backyard door when they suddenly heard something tapping.

"Hum?" Peyton walked over to the glass sliding door and checked, seeing no one. He heard the sound again. Nervous, he unlocked the door and slid it open. Facing the outside, he asked, "Anyone here?"

"Yes Peyton," someone grunted. Two Mipedians suddenly appeared in front of them.

"Ario. Gathup," Peyton said surprised, recognizing them.

"It has been a while Peyton," the orange Mipedian waved at the boy.

"Is it only the two of you?" Sarah asked, curious.

"No. We came to make sure you were safe first. That you weren't in any danger," Gathup answered.

"We have no time to lose before anyone sees us," Ario grunted as he waved at them.

Two Danians jumped above the fence and landed near the Mipedians.

Sarah quickly recognised them. It was Odu-Bathax and Wamma, "W-Wamma?" He was the last one he expected to show up.

Wamma hugged her. "You are alright! I'm so relieved! I saw you get coded like that, but you are here and okay!" he sobbed a few times.

Odu-Bathax pulled Wamma's antenna, "Release her now! Tears are not for warriors!"

"O-okay! O-ouch ouch!" Wamma whined as he released the girl. He took a few steps back when he didn't feel his antenna being pulled out of his brain. Annoyed, he put his hands on his head, "That was way too hard," he cleaned his face from the tears.

"Why are you here?" Sarah asked Wamma. She was the last Danian she expected to come to Earth, though she had an idea when he hugged her.

"I couldn't let any other Danian come here! I had to be there to protect you!" Wamma replied as he put his hands together.

Odu-Bathax grumbled, "Never saw him with this much energy in my life," he put his hand on his face, "Lore would have been a much better choice."

"Anyway, we are glad to find both of you safe," Gathup interrupted, bringing the conversation back to the subject at hand.

"H-how did you even come here?" Sarah asked, a little nervous as she realized the implications of them being here.

Peyton tapped her shoulder, "Sarah. It's the portal that led to here. Still, how did it bring you here and not anywhere else in the world?"

"The Codemasters made sure we were as close as possible to your position. Since you were together, it was much easier to find you," Ario grumbled.

"We were sent here to protect you from the M'arrillians. There are few of us and we can't do more," Odu-Bathax grumbled.

"Okay. How are we going to explain that to my parents? Think he might break the floor if he went inside," Peyton said frankly as he pointed at Wamma.

"He is pretty heavy. Odu-Bathax too," Sarah pointed out at him.

One of the two Danian took offense. It was obviously the Battlemaster and not the happy chubby creature.

Then, it came back to Sarah, "How do we even begin to explain this? I still have no idea and your parents might come up at any second and call the cops because they see monsters here. No offense," Sarah added.

"None taken," they both replied. They already knew those humans never went to Perim.

Peyton put his fingers on his head. "Come on brain. Time to work more than before," he closed his eyes as he searched for something.

The creatures looked at each other as everything slowly became awkward. They had to move the subject on or they would never progress in their mission. They still had to be certain that the town would be safe in the long term. Right now, they considered it not an immediate danger, but a potential danger.

"Just be straight and bring them here. We will explain everything that is going on," Ario grunted. He had lost his patience just before Odu-Bathax.

"Okay," Peyton left and went to search for his parents.

"It won't go that well or that easily," Sarah warned them.

"It won't go well no matter what," Ario replied bluntly.

Peyton came back soon. "And please stay calm when I present my friends," he told his parents as they walked towards the backyard.

"Don't worry. You know, your friends could use the front door. It will make them look less like thieves," a woman's voice innocently replied.

"I should have brought my shotgun. Do you know what is going on at Summer Vale?" A man grumbled.

Peyton was outside and raised his arms at them. "Those are my friends," he noticed his parents stopping at the sight of the creatures. He pointed at each of them, "This is Ario, Gathup, Wamma and Odu-Bathax."

"Why am I the last one?" the Danian in question grumbled.

Peyton's father was a portly man with short brown hair, blue eyes and a small scar on his cheek. He wore a blue vest with black pants that had few holes on them. "Lucas. Peyton, you better have a good explanation, because Halloween is not before a few months," His father warned warily.

"I'll explain soon," Peyton nervously replied.

"And I'm Judy," the woman let out a kind smile. She was a tall Caucasian woman with long blond hair and green eyes. She wore a blue dress with a fake flower necklace.

When compared to the creatures, Sarah noticed that her friend's mother was above Gathup. She turned towards the adult, "We have a lot to explain and it's the truth. You have to believe us."

"Please, explain everything Sarah," Lucas replied.

The two humans and the four creatures explained everything about Perim, Chaotic and what had happened. They then concluded with what was going on in Summer Vale and why the creatures were there.

"I am thankful that you came to watch over my son and his best friend," Judy said, bowing her head to them.

The four were surprised she believed them that quickly, while the two teenagers saw that coming from a mile away. They knew that woman was on the gullible side and was too kind for her own good sometimes. Although, it helped this time to avoid a long conflict.

"And they are honest?" Lucas asked for confirmation of the two teenagers. He looked them in the eye, trying to spot a lie.

"Yes!" the two answered.

The man sighed and smiled, "Then you are welcome in our house until everything is settled."

Sarah sighed, "That was easy. My parents won't be the same story," she was still relieved that it went easily.

Her best friend had to agree. It would take much more to convince them otherwise. He knew her parents would be less open with a life changing discovery than his own, "You still have your brother. He went to Chaotic and can vouch for you."

"Yeah. He is really nice. Though, he will be pretty happy to see Odu-Bathax," Sarah replied.

"And why is that?" The creature in question asked.

"You'll know when you meet him. Anyway, we better be ready for this," Sarah replied with a small smile.

"Before you do that, you should eat something," Judy told them with a warm smile.

The creatures didn't disagree.

"Good. I am starving!" Wamma declared.

The other Danian grumbled a few things, but didn't express them out loud.

Sarah checked in her scanner and saw a message from Tom.

I'm okay. Kaz too. Talk to you later.

Sarah smiled in relief that they were fine. She saw the Danians stop at the entrance, as there was a crack on the floor inside. The danians were heavy and from the looks of it, it was Odu-Bathax who caused the damage.

AC: This is the end of this chapter. The day for the group is coming to an end.

After this: A Night At the Farm.

After the action, the night was calm as Tom and Kaz entered in communication with Sarah and Peyton.
